Chapter Fifteen

My head was full of clouds, but stomach was filled with butterflies, however I couldn't stop wondering what exactly this was, or why Seth was kissing me. All I knew right now that I was on cloud nine, and Seth's lips felt right on my own, they were perfect. I didn't want to pull away, but an image of his girlfriend in my head, killed those butterflies, and forced me away from him. I stared at him shocked. I opened my mouth to ask him what that was, but I couldn't form the words. Instead I just got up and walked away, the plate falling to the floor and breaking, but I just continued to walk to my room. My brother passed me in the hallway, "What was that noise?" He asked. I couldn't answer him, if I did I would have told him what happened, and I didn't want him to know that. I closed my bedroom door behind me, ignoring my brother, and laid down on my bed. My mind on rewind, replaying the kiss, as I touched my lips, they still tingled. I had been kissed a lot, mostly during sexual encounters for money, and none of them left me feeling like that. This was definitely different, and I wasn't sure if I understood what it meant or not. I closed my eyes, and fell into a restless sleep.

I found Seth outside cleaning up a plate of apple slices, that must have been Nikki. "What did you do to my sister?" I asked Seth. His head looked up, and our eyes met. "What makes you think I did anything?" Seth questioned. "Because your my bestfriend and I know you, so what did you do?" Jon questioned again, sitting down where his sister was seated before the unknown incident. Seth finished cleaning up the mess of apples, and broken glass before sitting back down. "I kissed your sister." Seth relinquished, tensing up, Seth waiting for a punch in the face, or some kind of punishment for his actions towards the eccentric blondes little sister, but it never came. "Why?" Was all Jon asked. "I don't know. She's just been… on my mind a lot lately, and I couldn't help myself. I think I'm falling for her." Seth admitted. Jon lit up a cigarette, and nodded. "I know, its been very obvious you have feelings for her. What about Katy?"

"We broke up during dinner." Seth started, "I never cheated on her. I'm not like that, but I felt as though I was, I wasn't thinking about her anymore, my mind is always focused on Nikki." Jon nodded in understanding again, blowing out the smoke from the cigarette he just inhaled. "I know if you are with Nikki you're going to take care of her. Just be good to her, and give her time, shes different then she used to be. She's broken." Jon said, before getting up, and putting out his cigarette. "I'm going back to bed. Don't wake me up again breaking my dishes and shit." Jon laughed. Seth smiled back at him, and leaned back in the outdoor couch before falling asleep.

In the morning I was the last one up, the smell of coffee filled the air, and made me smile, however I did not like the taste of coffee, just the smell of it. I walked out into the kitchen the guys were in there drinking coffee and eating who knows what. After taking a long drink of water, I put the bottle down on the counter, Roman was eating, and minding his own business, but Seth and Jon were staring at me. I felt uncomfortable, and I knew most likely Seth had told my brother what happened. "What?" I asked, gaining Roman's attention. Jon and Seth reverted back to drinking their morning brew. "I'm going to go shower." I said, walking away, I hated the stares I was getting, and needed to get away.

A hot shower is exactly what I needed to relieve the stress that had built up over the last few hours. I was sad it ended, but the water was starting to get cold, and I knew I needed to get out before it got too cold. Wrapping the towel around my body, I opened the bathroom door to run straight into my bedroom, but that didn't go as planned. The bathroom was so fogged up that when I opened the door the steam built up in the hallway as well. I couldn't see where I was going, and bumped into someone. Course it was none other then Seth Rollins himself. "I'm so sorry, I didn't even see you." I said. "It's all good." He said helping me stand back up, however my towel fell as I stood up. My eyes welled with tears, and I bolted into my room, slamming the door shut as quick as I possibly could. I was beyond embarrassed, and I wasn't exactly sure how to deal with the feelings I was having.

I woke up to my niece bouncing up and down on my bed saying, "Aunt Sam wake up, I'm bored!" I didn't want to wake up, however the peppy young child jumping on me was unrelenting. I finally grabbed her legs, making her fall into my arms. "Lexi, do you have any idea how loud you are?" I asked her.

"I have to be to wake you up. Mommy said I had to make sure you wake up so you can watch me." Lexi said.

"Well were going to have to remember that when your mommy falls asleep then." I said in a joking manner before getting up, and following my hungry niece to the kitchen.

Things had changed drastically after I met with my sister, whom I was now living with. Turns out I have a niece that I didn't know existed for the first 5 years of her life. Alexia was truly the light of my life, I didn't know I could love another person so much until I met Lexi. I was doing my sister a favor by being a live in baby sister and housekeeper in return for a roof over my head and food in my stomach. Lexi's father was not always in the picture. He came and went when he felt like, and from what I heard the son of a bitch breaks the little girl's heart every time he leaves. Syd told me he's a really good father when he's here, but then he leaves and never says when he's coming back. I already knew I didn't like him, I didn't want to see Alexia get hurt, especially by someone that she loved and cared for.

"Auntie, what are you going to make me for breakfast?" Lexi asked, as I looked through the cabinets. Honestly I hated cooking when I was half asleep.

"How about you go get dressed, and brush your teeth and we will have a super secret breakfast."

"Ok!" Lexi exclaimed before running off towards her room. She was ready with in minutes. Wearing a pink frilly skirt, and a pink hello kitty top, I combed her hair, and put it in a pony tail before we left. "Why does it have to be a super secret breakfast?" Lexi asked me.

"Because if your mommy knew I was taking you to McDonalds for breakfast she would have a heart attack." I said.

"So were not going to tell her?" Lexi asked.

"No, were not going to tell her." Lexi giggled, but nodded her understanding. I knew this was going to be a day I wouldn't soon forget.
