Is anyone still out there interested in continuing? Because I am.

Draco had never felt so angry in his life. It's not like he had killed anybody, but his parents were treating him like a criminal. After his father took him home from his secret outing with Harry, he was scolded by both his parents and bound to his room for the past weeks. Draco had never been so bored in his life; he spent most of the day pacing around his room or going over his textbooks. He wasn't allowed to sit in the garden or fly his broom (which was confiscated by his parents as part of his grounding).

"You can't keep me locked up in here!" Draco would shout at the door, not knowing if his parents were even nearby. "I'm fifteen years old! You can't keep treating me like a child!" His words were never answered; when they sat at dinner together, he wouldn't speak to them at all. He'd hope the cold shoulder would at least break his mother down into his un-grounding him, but it never worked.

There was one upside. Hedwig was able to deliver Harry's letters straight to his room at night when his parents were asleep. He was still able to talk to Harry. Even though a lot of their letters were complaining about what was going on in their lives at the moment, it was still nice to see his words.

However, tomorrow was the day he would board the Hogwarts Express and be finally away from his parent's punishment. He would also be able to see Harry on a regular basis, even though it would be in secret. Also, Draco had received his prefect's badge (which had actually lightened the mood in his house) which means he would be able to keep his reputation in order and still see Harry.

Hedwig tapped on the window that night causing Draco to turn to the window. He wasn't expecting a letter seeing as how Harry's last one read very clearly that he would not be sending letters for some time and he would see them at school. Draco cracked open the window and untied the letter from Hedwig's leg and she immediately flew off. Following this, there was a knock at his door and his father walked in.

"What are you doing by the window?" Lucious asked.

"Seeing as how I've been grounded for the past few weeks, it's all I do." Lucious shot Draco a dangerous look and walked over to him. He pushed the letter up the back of his shirt in an attempt to hide it.

"Speaking of that, are you ready to finally tell me what you were doing out of your room? In that alley?" Draco shrugged and went back to looking out the window. "I'm not as stupid as you think I am. I know you were meeting someone and I will find out who; I always find out, Draco." Draco walked over to his bed, keeping his father in his line of sight, never turning his back on him. "What's behind your back, Draco?" He didn't answer and sat down on his bed, slipping the note under his pillow; he held his empty hands up and waved them at his face. Lucious raised an eyebrow and walked towards the door. "We'll be leaving extra early tomorrow. There's a stop we have to make on the way. Good night, Draco."

"Night father," he intoned and Lucious shut the door behind him. He hesitated for a moment before pulling the letter cautiously.

'Draco. We leave for Platform 9 ¾ tomorrow morning and I want to tell you everything that's happened. Part of me is doing this in hopes you'll be less harsh to me, the other is just feeling guilty that I didn't tell you sooner. When I was at my Uncle's, I was attacked by Dementors and had to cast a patronus to save me and my cousin, because of this I was expelled. BUT I got that worked out sorta and had to be taken away from my Aunt and Uncle. Now I'm staying with the Weasleys and I also had a hearing with the Ministry of Magic to see if my expulsion would stick. I saw your dad there by the way; you can tell me what he was doing later. But to make a long long long story short, I get to go back to school. Sorry, I didn't mention all this before. You could understand that this was all really sensitive information and I shouldn't even be telling you. Dumbledore probably doesn't want any information being leaked to any Death Eaters who may try and get Hedwig. If you could do me a favor…well two favors. One, meet me in one of the train cars. I want to spend some time with you alone. Two, burn this letter. I'm sorry but I can't risk your father finding this or it falling in the wrong hands. Nor can I risk Dumbledore finding out I told you all this. Again, I'm sorry I didn't tell you sooner. I need to know that you're on my side.'

-Harry Potter

Draco felt like he had gotten punched in the gut as he read and re-read the letter. Harry was almost expelled? And he thought he shouldn't tell me? What if he actually was expelled? I never see him again! Don't get angry. Draco glanced down at the letter.

'P.S. Ron kinda of knows now. I didn't mean to tell him but he's my best friend. I think he's coming to terms with it though.'

Draco ripped the letters into small pieces, shouting "I'm livid!" He immediately tossed the shreds into the fire. He told Ron Weasley about us! That was one of the conditions of our relationship! He is going to get an earful! I can't believe him! Keeping secrets and breaking deals! Draco paced around his room angrily, occasionally throwing things onto the floor.

"What's wrong, Master? Your parents is sending me to check on you?" a little house elf ask, cracking open the door. Draco grabbed its ears and began to shake it before pushing it out of his room. Wait till tomorrow. Potter is in for it.
