Title: When You Meet The Unexpected
Pairings: Tank/OC, Richtofen/OC, Takeo/OC, Nikolai/OC (Not sure about the last two though.)
Game: Call of Duty: World at War, Black OPs.
Main Characters: Tank Dempsey, Tasha Dempsey, Nikolai Belinski, Nadiah Belinski, Takeo Masaki, Tanee Masaki, Doctor Edward Richtofen, Doctor Emily Richtofen.
Minor Characters: Doctor Maxis, Sophia, Samantha.
Disclaimer: I don't own anything mentioned in my story apart from Tasha, Nadiah, Tanee and Emily.
Note: Any POV (Point of View) change will be mentioned unless it is going to third person.
Pronunciation: Nadiah=NaR-de-a, Tanee=TaR-Nee (if that helps at all)
Note: Sorry guys! I haven't given up on this story...my laptop broke and I've only just got a new one so hopefully I can get this story going again, YAY! Another thing, you might of noticed is I'm not the best at writing dialogue so I'm hoping (even if it's terrible) you guys can bring it to life when you read it. Thanks for being patient! :)

Emily followed Doctor Maxis into the test room. On the floor was Samantha's dog Fluffy, tied up whining helplessly. I hated testing on dogs but it had to be done. You can't argue with Maxis.
"Put the dog in the test chamber." Doctor Maxis said.
"But-" Emily tried to protest.
"NOW!" He ordered.
"Yes, Doctor." Emily said following his orders. After putting the dog in the chamber she calibrated the system. She looked at Maxis who gave the signal to start the process. The was a flash of blue electric in the chamber and Fluffy was gone. Emily already knew this would happen but she didn't reveal this to Maxis.
"Oh my god." She uttered. Maxis looked annoyed at her, he was about to shout at Emily but a static-like noise came from the chamber followed by a flash of blue.
"What the-...open the test chamber." Maxis said moving closer to inspect.
"As you wish." She said pressing the button. What they saw shocked both of them. Fluffy was back but it wasn't her. The dog had deep cuts in her side, yellow eyes, and fire coming from her. She was sniffing the floor curiously. Samantha came out of nowhere running to Fluffy calling her name.
"Samantha! Come back her." Maxis shouted after her.
"Fluffy?" Samantha said shocked at the dogs new appearance. After hearing her name Fluffy looked up only noticing the people in the room now; she started to growl.
"That's not Fluffy anymore." Maxis stated slowly backing out of the room holding Samantha close to him. They suddenly heard a click and saw the door close behind them.
"What? Emily open this door!" Maxis shouted. "Open this door now!" He said desperately. She just grinned at him and watched. The hound focused her eyes on the two before running after them, snapping her jaw. Maxis pulled the crying girl into the teleporter and pushed the button as Fluffy jumped in after them. Samantha's scream faded until it was no more but it replayed in Emily's head. She shivered at the noise before walking away giggling.
(Edward's POV)
I had landed the plane about half an hour ago but the soldiers were still asleep. I had landed the plane near the coordinates so hopefully the meteor was close. The coordinates were in a swamp like jungle, it was humid, wet and full of bushes. Not a good combination because it would make it hard to find the meteor, plus the tall trees blocked out the sun which made it dark. I heard a groan and quickly spun around but it was only Dempsey, the stupid American. Out of the group he disliked Dempsey the most. Takeo was quiet, followed orders and kept to himself most of the time. Nikolai was alright as long as he had his alcohol and at times was quite amusing. Whereas Dempsey was annoying, in your face, never listened and was too aggressive.
"Where are we?" Dempsey asked standing up and stretching.
"In a swamp somewhere." I replied watching for any zombies.
"So you don't know where we are?" Tank said walking towards me.
"Look we need to find something and go as soon as possible, our exact location is not needed." I said growing annoyed with his dumb questions.
"Your keeping something from us, Sauerkraut and I will find it out from you one way or another. Consider that a threat" Tank said getting a little too close. I straightened up to my full height, Dempsey might be built like a tank but I was taller than him which made me feel more powerful.
"Be quiet, Swine." I spat out. He glared at me but before he could reply the others came out of the plane.
"We have to go before the zombies catch up." I said looking down at Tank. Nobody moved. Takeo sighed and muttered to himself before moving in a random direction cutting bushes out of his way. I caught up to him and led the group, keeping an eye out.
After hours of walking through the filthy swamp they came to a small shack in a clearing. It looked like it could fall down at any minute but it was on dry land and even had a lake with clean water. The soldiers decided to make camp here for the night, Tank and Takeo looked around before picking a place to sleep for the night. Nikolai looked for food and vodka. Edward looked for some clean clothes for everyone, after finding some uniforms they each took turns bathing in the lake whilst someone guarded. After some food they decided to sleep, taking turns at guarding the group.
Edward woke up earlier than the rest of the group. Takeo was keeping guard whilst the others slept so Edward wandering off to the lake. Their clothes were dry from when they washed them from the night before which made him grateful for the heat. He quickly changed and decided to make breakfast for everyone, the sooner they were on their way the better. He was actually surprised by the lack of zombie encounters.
Tank estimated it was around 11am when they were ready to go. He knew from the suns position and his training from the Marines. The group didn't really talk to each other. Nikolai would mutter random words to himself before laughing which made Tank laugh in turn, Takeo was silent, always watching. They hadn't been an 'alliance' for long so there was no trust or friendship between them. Tank was actually quite worried about this, he knew that to make a good team you need trust and some kind of bond to rely on each other. Otherwise things would go south, especially with no idea of where they were or when the zombies would arrive.
They went on their way to look for some meteor or something so Tank used this time to make conversation with his companions. Edward was too preoccupied with finding the meteor to join the conversation but he picked up bits and pieces just to make sure they didn't remember anything. At the moment they were talking about family members and Nikolai's many wives.
Takeo heard a gasp and feared the worst. He grabbed his gun but saw no signs of zombies. He turned to Edward who was kneeling down in the water. They all gathered near to look at the meteor, it was large and had glowing blue and orange veins going through it. Something didn't feel right to Takeo, it felt like something was wrong like something bad was about to happen. He kept a hand on his gun and looked around.
Edward was overjoyed finally his plan could be put in motion! He gathered as much of the meteor as he could on containers, careful not to touch any. There was enough to fill the Wunderwaffe which he had kept in a bag this whole time.
"What the fuck is that thing?" Tank asked looking at the odd gun.
"It's the Wun-" Edward stopped talking and listened. There was a groaning noise and he gulped knowing what it was.
"Uh oh." Nikolai said seeing the zombie Japanese soldiers. They stumbled around not really knowing where to go until the men started to fire their weapons, then they ran towards them . Clawing, biting, screaming, hoping for a piece of them. The soldiers made a square formation, standing back to back and shooting the creatures but the more they killed the more came.
"I have a plan, find a way back to the hut." Shouted Edward above the screeching. Everyone nodded and went their own way trying to separate the crowd. Nikolai ran through the trees dodging the zombies and killing any that got in his way. He saw the hut getting closer and shoot at the crowd behind him whilst drinking vodka. Tank took a different approach rounding the zombies up and throwing a grenade at them giving him a head start to the hut. Takeo made it to the hut first so he protected the area until the others arrived.
"They are in a better place now." He reminded himself as his bullets tore through the fellow Japanese soldiers, silencing them.
When they did arrive they covered Edward while he reloaded his Wunderwaffe. He pushed everyone away and shot at the water, it sent a bolt of electricity through the water killing the remaining zombies. The bolt shot back and hit the soldiers making them fall to the floor unconscious.
Emily's POV:
I went to one of the labs and crept in unnoticed. There were a group of new scientists being showed what 115 did to dead people. I typed in a code which made the chamber open when the experiment was done. I left quickly knowing I didn't have much time left before the outbreak happened. Next I went to the test subject wing of the building and convinced the super soldiers to come with me, it took awhile but eventually when they heard the screams in the main building they agreed. We armed ourselves and went to the teleporter, surprisingly they didn't say anything about the zombies. They just took in the scene. I programmed the teleporter then pressed the button, Tasha shot the Wunderwaffe on cue which gave extra power to the teleporter. Everything turned a blood red before darkness washed over us.
Uh oh, looks like it's time for...KINO DER UNTOTEN! I can't wait to continue this story there, most of the chapters will be there so...
