"Mom is right Ramsey is not the only reason we came back. Ryan and Jo came back with us for the same reason. So did Jenna, Wally and Jesse's daughter. As did Lucas, Cisco's son. We didn't know that Trina or Connor and Dina were coming." Said Alison
"Then why are you here?" Asked Barry
"Crisis is coming again. Oh don't worry dad you aren't going to disappear. Uncle Ollie is not going to die. But that doesn't mean that there are no losses. We are not allowed to tell you much. We need to keep as much of the timeline intact as possible. We can change only a few things. If we aren't careful then our future will be erased." Said Danielle
"Are you allowed to tell us who we lose?" Asked Barry
"No. We just have to stop certain events from happening. It all starts for team Flash with Bloodwork. We don't know what the others are here to stop. Before the second crisis everyone was busy with their own thing. We never paid a lot of attention to what the other members of the Justice League were doing on their own. Yeah not very smart we know. But Dani and I only liked hearing stories about Team Flash." Said Alison
"What I don't understand is the anti monitor was sent to the mircoverse. How does he get out?"
"To be honest we don't know. But there always has to be a balance between good and evil. The monitor and anti monitor balance each other out. As do you and the reverse flash. We know that you sent Thawne to the Phantom Zone. But he still exists in the future." Said Alison
"You can't tell us anything?" Asked Barry
"Dad, if we do or say the wrong thing then someone we care about could be erased. As much as our younger siblings get on our nerves, especially any that might have inherited mom's telepathic powers, we don't want to lose them." Said Dani
"So are you saying that you have a sibling that is a telepath?" Asked Caitlin
"Not saying yes or no." Said Dani
"Dani the way you talk sometimes I wonder why you are pre med and not about to enter law school." Said Alison
"Wait Danielle you are pre med? You are like seventeen!" Said Barry
"Both Allie and I graduated high school at fourteen. We are both in our third year at Central City University. Mom refused to let us go away to school. It wasn't like we were stupid enough to want to go to school in Gotham. It is still the most corrupt city in the country even with the whole Bat family trying to clean it up." Said Dani
"Well the damn city is run by the Court of Owls. The mayor and city council are either part of it or puppets of it." Said Alison
"What is the Court of Owls?" Asked Barry
"Not anything good." Said Dani
"There is a rhyme about them that is said to be in whispers at night inside the walls of Arkham. Beware the Court of Owls, that watches all the time, ruling Gotham from a shadowy perch, behind granite and lime. They watch you at your hearth, they watch you in your bed, speak not a whispered word of them or they'll send the Talon for your head. What we do know is that Bruce Wayne believes that they had something to do with his parents' deaths. Joe Chill may have pulled the trigger but it was ordered by the Court of Owls." Said Alison
"Alison the source of that rhyme being said in Arkham is on exactly credible. The woman claims she is the Joker's daughter. Not exactly someone who is sane." Said Dani
"The Joker has a daughter?" Asked Barry
"Unclear. The name she uses is Duela Dent. She has claimed to be the child of a number of Batman's rogues gallery that includes The Joker, Riddler, Harvey Dent aka Two Face, the Penguin and Catwoman. Harley Quinn doesn't like her is all that is really known." Said Danielle
"What about you Alison what are you studying?" Asked Caitlin
"Business, someone is going to have to run Star Labs. I am minoring chemistry."
Barry looked at Caitlin with a raised eyebrow. Caitlin smiles as she picks up his thoughts.
I guess our girls here get their brains and looks from their smart and beautiful mother.
"That is so annoying when the two of you do that." Mumbled Alison
"I think it is sweet." Said Danielle
"You would. You are also dating Joey Thawne." Said Alison
"Joey is nice. It is not his fault that some far off descendent of his is a psychopath. Come on, his dad Eddie is cool."
"No he's not."
"Danielle, you are dating Eddie's son? How old is he?" Asked Barry
"Three months younger than us. Iris is like a month pregnant. From what we heard Joe dragged them in front of a minister to get married before the baby was born." Said Danielle
"Barry, calm down. The poor boy hasn't been born yet. In fact our daughters haven't been born yet." Said Caitlin
"I know. As much as I hate to admit it Eddie is a good guy." Said Barry
"Maybe we should pick this up tomorrow with everyone else." Said Caitlin
"Sure mom." Said Alison
Danielle nodded then she and Alison headed for the spare bedroom. Caitlin kissed Barry and the two of them headed to bed.
"Let me get this straight. Not only is time travel possible but you two are our kids from the future." Said Ronnie
"Yes dad. You burst into flames and mom shoots ice out of her hands. Uncle Barry, Jesse and Wally run faster than humanly possible and you are having trouble with the idea of time travel." Said Jo
"Mom, you don't seem as surprised." Said Ryan
"In the old universe before crisis I met Barry and Iris's annoying brat from the future and fought along side of the Legends. Ronnie, you know Thawne was from the future." Said Charlie
"I can wrap my head around the idea of speedsters being able to time travel. It's the non speedsters I am having trouble with."
"Short version is Stein along Jax your replacement as Firestorm, Captain Cold, Heatwave, Ray Palmer, Sara Lance and a few others were recruited by this guy named Rip Hunter who worked for this group called the time masters to stop the world from being taken over by this immortal dictator. He had a time traveling spaceship. Turns out the time masters wanted Vandal Savage to take over the world. They also were using some device to try and control everyone's free will making them puppets. Anyway the Legends as they call themselves destroyed the device and found a way to kill Savage at three different points in time. Later they got these things called time couriers. They open a portal between two points in time. My guess is that is how our firebug son and ice princess daughter got here. Why I don't know." Said Charlie
"Cause a new multiverse ending crisis is coming and you need our help and the help of other members of the Young Justice League to help you. Probably going to need the JSA too." Said Ryan
Charlie looked at Ronnie knowing that this was not good.
While I do mention that the Court of Owls does exist that is as far as I am going to go with them. I am not going to do the research on them for this story.
