A/N-Heyyyy guyyysssss! If you haven't already heard the wonderful news…*ahem*… BLACK BUTLER IS COMING BACK! Not sure if it's a 3rd season or a series reboot…but either way, I'm fangirling all over the fuckin' place. Let us rejoice!
XD

Sorry this chapter is so short guys…I'm going to be pretty busy moving and what not. I finally got a house with my boyfriend so no more room mates!
Also…I hope that some of you aren't too dissapointed that Sebby and Mey Rin didn't get lemony in the last chapter.
I figured Sebastian should be a gentleman and not pressure a lady into such acts unless she says she wants to. A blossoming love between these two should be slow, subtle and…dare I say it..? ..Innocent?
I also want you to know that this story is coming to a close, probably only 1 or 2 more chapters left that I wanna write.
BUT, there will be a sequel to this. It will take place years after Ciel and Sebastian decided to leave the Manor. You know…after Ciel became a demon.
How sad do you think Mey Rin had become after years of not seeing Sebastian?
Again…thank you guys for your continued support of my story…I'm extremely humbled…
If it weren't for you guys, I wouldn't even have continued to write it.
I send you all my love and thanks. But I could never thank you enough…

"I fell in love the way you fall asleep: slowly, and then all at once."

~John Green

The demon's eyes shot open as he let out a startled gasp. Glancing around the room, he quietly cursed himself for dozing off in such a manner. It had been weeks, possibly months since he could indulge in such a peaceful slumber; not that he needed it of course.
"How unsightly…" he mumbled to himself as he looked down at his attire from the night before. A disciplined butler such as himself would have at least changed clothes before getting into a bed, especially if he intended to actually sleep.
"So untidy."
Sebastian sat up slightly with his back to the headboard. It was still quite early. The sun was only just beginning to rise. It would still be a while before he would wake the other servants and the young Earl.
He had almost forgotten about Mey Rin, had she not been so tightly curled up beside him.
He looked down at the girl, and couldn't help but smile. The way she laid with her head in her arms and her knees tucked in close reminded Sebastian of a sleeping kitten. He chuckled softly, taking a moment to admire her this way. Slowly and gently, he brushed a few stray locks of hair out of her face and behind her ear.
There was a sort of enchanting effect that Mey Rin was beginning to have on the demon. At first, he merely enjoyed the chase, but the satisfaction of he sought from teasing the girl was beginning to become a bit addicting. He even surprised himself that he was even giving the girl the time of day. What was it that made her suddenly so irrisistable?
There are few things in this world that could make a demon let his guard down to such a degree. It began to make Sebastian wonder; just who held all the power at this point in their newfound relationship? Was the demon seducing the naïve house maid? Or was Mey Rin taming the beast?
Sebastian cupped the maid's cheek in his palm, gently stroking her with his thumb. Mey Rin shifted a bit; stretching her legs out beneath her. Sebastian leaned over, touching his forehead to her temple.
"Good Morning." He whispered in her ear. "Its time to wake up now, my kitten."
The maid's eyes fluttered open, struggling to focus on the man beside her.
"Yes sir." She mumbled, rubbing her eyes with one hand.
"Oh my…" the maid gasped. "Did-did you really fall asleep in my bed?"
Mey Rin threw her blankets off, her expression turning frantic.
"You gotta get outta here Sebastian! What if the others find out you're here? What if the Young Master—"
"—Don't worry." The butler cut her off. "No one is awake yet, I assure you."
Sebastian stood up and put his shoes back on, as well as his overcoat; he would have to change into a new one once he left Mey Rin's room.
The butler ran a hand through his hair as he turned to Mey Rin. He took her chin between his thumb and index finger, holding her gaze before leaning in for one last kiss.
"Please, take your time this morning. There's no rush to do chores today, since most of them were taken care of last night."
"Yes sir." She replied.
The Butler swiftly departed, trying to remain as quiet as possible. He slowly closed the door and turned on his heels.
"Sebastian?"
As Sebastian had whirled around, he nearly ran into Finny as he was walking down the hall.
"Finny?" Sebastian struggled to maintain composure, confused as to why he didn't hear or sense Finny a moment earlier. He was letting his guard down too much…
"You're awake surprisingly early."
Ignoring the Butler's comment, Finny's expression turned perplexed.
"Why were you in Mey Rin's room?" he asked, eyeing the butler suspiciously.
"I was making sure she was awake." He lied. "I was about to come and wake you as well."
Finny didn't reply, appearing very unsatisfied with Sebastian's answer. The Butler scowled, causing the boy to flinch.
"Would you like a written invitation to start your chores today?" The Butler said sarcastically. "Stop stannding there so idly and get to your work at once."
Finny simply nodded and continued on his way down the corridor. Sebastian sighed heavily and rubed his temples. He decided he would have a quick bath and change into some fresh clothes.
Walking in the opposite direction of Finny, Sebastian nearly tripped over Bard's lifeless form still sprawled out in the way.
Sebastian frowned, sighing once again in annoyance.
"Its going to be a long day I'm afraid…"
