So this is the last chapter.
I can't thank you guys enough for your continued support of my story and this couple.
You're all so very sweet, and you have such nice things to say..
I can't…

"What're you tryina' do? Kill me? You're a cruel man, Sebastian.."
"I doubt anyone has ever died from a hangover alone, Bard."
The butler glowered at the Chef, who could barely hold himself up over the stove. Bard struggled to shield his eyes as he leaned over to pull hot scones from the oven.
"All these smells of food are gonna make me hurl." He groaned.
Sebastian rolled his eyes as he retrieved plates and silverware from the cabinets.
"Perhaps you shouldn't have indulged in such an excessive amount of alcohol then." He retorted. The chef paused, covering his mouth.
"Oi…don't mention alcohol.."
"The young Master shall be having breakfast in his study this morning." Sebastian said as he plucked a few hot scones from the cookie sheet.
"Please, if you will, clean up the kitchen, and then I would like you to help Finny in the Garden today."
"May I ask where the Maid of the house is? Ya know, doin' housework is her thing, right?"
Sebastian shot the man another glare.
"I'll have to ask you to mind your business and not worry about Mey Rin's work." He said, putting the final touches on the wheeling tray.
"She is still weak from her cold. She needs to rest a bit more."
"Hey! I'm over 'ere dyin' and you still make me work?!" Bard said, throwing his arms up in outrage.
"Yes, that is because you skipped out on chores last night." Sebastian sighed, wheeling the tray from the kitchen.
"No more arguments." Sebastian said over his shoulder. His tone and expression convinced Bard to submit.
"Alright then.." he said quietly to himself. He rubbed his temples with his thumb and index finger, clenching his eyes shut.
"Never again." He groaned, shoving a cigarette to his lips.
Just then, Finnian entered through the rear entrance. His face and hands stained with dirt; a big smile on his face.
"Good mornin' Bard." He said, making his way to the kitchen sink.
"Oi, what's so good about it?" Bard complained, taking the opportunity to light his cigarette in the kitchen while Sebastian wasn't present.
Finny's smile disappeared, he glanced over at the chef, studying his expression.
"Oh." He said, lathering his hands with soap. "I forgot. You don't feel so well, eh?"
Bard shook his head, blowing out a cloud of smoke above their heads.
"I imagine cigarettes won't help much." Finny waved his hand around, shooing the smoke from his face.
"Oh well, then." Bard took another drag, ashing the cigarette in the sink. Finny observed and frowned as he retrieved a dry washcloth.
"Sebastian is going to get angry." He said softly, wringing the cloth between his fists.
"Yeah, well, he can just sod off." Bard said with much resentment. "The bastard's got me helping you out for the rest of the day. I haven't even seen Mey Rin all morning."
"Mey Rin…" Finny had almost forgotten about that morning. Was Sebastian sneaking out of her room, or was he really just checking on her? It wasn't like the Butler to be sneaking around in such a manner. Finny would have believed his story had he not looked so ungroomed and a bit nervous. Also, very unlike the Butler.
He pondered whether or not to divulge in this information with Bard. He didn't want to be a gossiper.
Finny folded the washcloth just so, and hung it over to dry. He grabbed himself a glass from the cabinets to pour himself some juice.
"Bard?" he asked quietly, pausing to make sure he heard no one coming down the hallway.
"Have you noticed anything different about Sebastian and Mey Rin?" he questioned quietly, leaning in closer to the chef.
Bard shrugged, lighting up a second ciggarette. "No, I haven't noticed anything myself. He may be a bit sweet on her though, seeing as he's been letting her sleep in and what-not."
"That's what I'm talking about." Finny replied, pausing again to gulp his drink. "You think they're acting a bit..well, strange?"
"Like I said, I haven't noticed anything." Bard said, stretching his arms over his head.
"Why do you ask? Have you noticed something?"
Finny nearly choked on his juice. He cleared his throat nervously, setting his cup aside on the counter.
"Not exactly…" It was near impossible for Finny to keep a secret. It would eat away at him until he blurted it out. For some reason, he found it almost painful to be dishonest to others. Yet, he thought about what would happen if anyone found out.
What if Mr. Sebastian got fired? And Mey Rin?
"Will you promise not to tell anyone else what I tell you then?"
Bard's eyebrows shot up, slowly realizing the boy was serious.
"Sure.." He said hesistantly, shrugging his shoulders.
.
.
.
"Sebastian…"
The Young Earl's sharp tone made the man freeze.
Goodness, what was it this time?
"Yes, Young Master?"
Sebastian set the tea kettle down gently back on the tray. His eyes met the Young Earl's as he swiveled around in his chair, the newspaper clutched in one hand.
"Would you mind explaining the meaning of this lecherous display?"
With a flick of his wrist, the boy flipped the newspaper flat on his desk in the direction of the Butler. An all-too familiar scene printed in black and white before him; the photo of he and Mey Rin sharing a kiss had made its way to the front of the London paper. The top headline, being the Halloween Festival of course.
Sebastian closed his eyes and supressed a laugh, lifting his hand to his lips.
Ciel's expression flared.
"Are you really laughing?" he scolded. "This is a serious matter, Sebastian!"
Sebastian opened his eyes once more, lifting the paper with both hands to take a closer look.
"My, my." He wondered. "What a charming photo indeed. They really take wonderful photos. Wouldn't you agree, My Lord?"
"I demand an answer, Sebastian!" Ciel began to get flustered. The demon butler always derived some sort of amusement from the Earl's impatience.
"'Halloween Festival of London'" he read outloud. "There was quite a bit going on, as you have already read, I assume."
"Just get to your point already." Ciel huffed, sipping his tea.
"Well, Young Master." The man in black began, setting the paper down on the Earl's desk again.
"You ordered me to take care of Mey Rin at all costs, correct?"
Ciel shifted impatiently in his desk.
"What does that have to do with publicly snogging in such a manner? You're both employed by a noble, whose reputation is at risk when things like this occur."
Sebastian remained stoic, as usual. His master's words did not make him falter.
"We discussed this last night as well, if I remember correctly." Ciel continued.
"Yes, sir." Sebastian replied, calmly gathering the Young Master's soiled plates and utensils.
"But, have you not noticed Mey Rin's sudden improvement this past week?"
"What are you getting at?"
"I mean to say that all Mey Rin needed was some tender loving care."
Ciel's face flushed, a slight shade of red taking over his face.
"Don't tell me…you…" The boy didn't even want these images in his head.
The Butler couldn't contain a fit of laughter, realizing the Young Master's conclusion immediately.
"Oh my." The Butler cleared his throat, trying to regain his composure.
"It's not what you think, My Lord." He assured his Master.
"She needed to be tended to. She needed to recover from her illness. I saw to her needs, and paid her extra attention this past week. She made no mistakes whatsoever. Perhaps, some attentiveness was what she needed all along, my Lord."
Ciel's expression turned. He suddenly looked very much amused himself.
"Funny." He said. "I never took you for the tender, loving type. I didn't think a demon was capable…"
"I shall do what I must to ensure the best of service to the Phantomhive Manor." The Butler replied proudly, bowing slightly with his hand over his chest.
Ciel smiled smugly, finishing the remainder of his tea.
He suddenly remembered Sebastian's love for cats, and realized it wasn't entirely impossible.
"Whatever it is you two are doing, please don't bring it out into the open."
He ordered the Butler.
Sebastian smiled quite slyly. To think he actually worried about the Earl finding out suddenly seemed so preposterous. For he could justify any "lie" on behalf of serving the boy.
"Make her believe I will fire her in an instant if I find out. Okay?"
"Yes, my Lord."
.
.
.
All was finally quiet in the Phantomhive house.
Mey Rin lay in bed, her candles still lit on the nightstand beside her. She stared up at the ceiling, unable to find sleep this night.
It had been an unusual day. She didn't do as many chores that she normally did, so she didn't feel so worn out this particular night.
But it couldn't be just extra energy.
Bard and Finny had been looking at her differently all day. Their expressions were just, sort of comical.
Sebastian had been acting odd as well.
Perhaps, not odd, but, treating Mey Rin as he usually did.
Before she was ill.
He looked down on her like mud on his shoes.
Perhaps he didn't want to rouse suspicion?
Did Bard and Finny already know?
And if they did, how?
Then, she began to worry if the Young Master would find out.
Would someone tell?
Would she get fired and cast out of the Phantomhive Manor?
Mey Rin clenched her eyes shut, wishing such intrusive thoughts wouldn't disturb her sleep so much.
Mey Rin nearly fell out of bed when she heard a small rapping on her bedroom door.
She wondered why she didn't hear footsteps approaching.
Mey Rin set her feet down gingerly on the cold floor, tip-toeing quietly to open her door.
"Yes?" she said, struggling to see who it was, for she had left her glasses on her nightstand.
"Mey Rin."
The familiar sultry voice filled her ears. She didn't need to see to know who it was.
"Sebastian?"
"May I come in?"
Without another word, Mey Rin stepped back, allowing the Butler through the door.
"I didn't think you'd ever come back in here again."
Mey Rin whispered.
"Why do you bother?"
Mey Rin hugged her arms around herself, shivering ever so slightly. She could barely see the man in the pale candle light; only a dark silhouette, and those scarlet colored eyes.
Sebastian remained silent, as he reached out, scooping the maid into his arms.
"Need I remind you that you must keep warm?"
Mey Rin's spirit lifted, realizing the butler had not abandoned her after all.
"You'll certainly catch cold again if you do not."
Mey Rin let her arms wrap around the man's waist as they remained. The fabric of his clothing did not feel the same at all. It was certainly hard to tell what he was wearing in the dark.
"Are you wearing pajamas?"
The maid suppressed a small giggle.
"I never thought I'd ever see you in those."
Sebastian chuckled quietly, guiding Mey Rin gently to her bedside.
"I thought I should dress appropriately before I plan on falling asleep with you."
He replied, lifting the blankets back for the Maid.
Mey Rin climbed in first, slipping deep beneath the sheets.
"You mean, you're sleeping in here again tonight?"
"If I have permission from you that is."
Sebastian positioned himself just so, pulling the maid into his arms. She sighed in relief as his warmth overtook her.
"Of course." She sighed, resting her head on the spot between his head and shoulder.
The maid's worries disappeared completely. Suddenly she didn't care if they were found out or not.
The maid shifted slightly. The couple laying face to face, Mey Rin rested her hand atop Sebastian's head, gliding her fingers between locks of hair.
Up and down. Up and down.
"Are you petting me?" Sebastian chuckled softly. "Am I a cat now?"
Mey Rin giggled, her hand coming to a stop on his neck.
"I'm enjoying your presence." The Maid responded.
"I am savoring your presence as well." Sebastian pulled the maid closer to him. Mey Rin wrapped her legs around his waist as her forehead rested against his.
The butler moved in for a kiss that Mey Rin could not see in such darkness. His warm lips made contact with hers and suddenly all was right in the world.
Mey Rin found her hands pressed up against the man's chest and stomach. She could feel his muscles ripple and tense in anticipation beneath his clothing. Her heart fluttered as his hands caressed and massaged her back and legs. For some reason, he paid special attention to her long legs, as if he were anxious to pry them open.
Mey Rin suddenly paused for a moment, ceasing her movements.
"What's the matter?" Sebastian asked, his warm breath tickling her lips.
"I should let you know.." Mey Rin hesitated, nervous to say anything at all on the matter.
"Yes?"
"Well." Mey Rin swallowed hard.
"I've been saving myself for the right man.."
Sebastian loosened his grip on the girl, he reached up to brush his hair from his face.
"Ah, you mean to say you've remained celibate?"
"Yes sir…" Mey Rin replied meekly.
Sebastian laughed quietly.
"I won't force you to do anything you don't wish to participate in." He assured the maid tenderly, lifting his hand to stroke her face.
"I will let you make the first move."
Relieved, Mey Rin embraced the Butler once again. She kissed him on the forehead gently.
"Of course, I wouldn't mind some more, heavier petting."
Mey Rin let out another small laugh.
"Do the others know about us?"
She asked, changing the subject entirely. She felt the Butler shake his head.
"No." he said softly.
"They are suspicious, however. In all honesty, I shouldn't even be here right now at all."
"Hmm.." Mey Rin groaned. "I'm kinda scared…" she admitted.
"Don't be."
Sebastian reassured her.
"If we get fired, are you gonna leave me?"
Sebastian, surprised at the maid's attachment towards him, was for once, at a loss for words.
"I will not leave you." He replied, knowing full well that the Earl well aware of their relationship, and would never fire them.
"I will never leave your side."

The End.
A/N-Okay guys. That's it for now.
T_T
Yupp..
But, hold on, there's gonna be a SEQUEL to this whole story.
It will take place 5 years after Sebastian and Ciel leave the manor to the servants and fake Ciel's death. They return to the manor on 'business' hoping to find a place to stay for the time being.
Unfortunately, Mey Rin and the others had become quite bitter about their disappearance.
It will be quite dramatic, a total opposite of this story.
*conjurs up inner angst*
Its still in the works.
