You're not in Asgard anymore…

Ch3

SPOV

He was still gazing at me and the only thing I could do was stare back; that and blush intensely, I managed to break the staring by pretending I wasn't affected by it at all, which was complete bullshit. I stood up while nervously chuckling to myself.

"So, now that I know you're awake and all, why don't I help you get up?" I waited for him to do something, but he just lay there with the same expression on his face. I couldn't stand the awkward silence anymore. "Listen, are you going to stay there all night or get up like a normal person" that did it. He pushed himself off the smelly mattress with such grace that I couldn't help but feel envious about it, once he was up to his full height I automatically took a step back; but still had to crane my head up to see his face. He was about 6'2 in height and had and air around him that screamed mystery.

Behind me I heard a few late night partyers stumbling into our direction, I began to panic as I realized the situation before me.

"We need to get out of here" without giving him a chance to act I grabbed him by the arm and dragged him behind me. Within minutes we made it to my two bedroom apartment, he was surprisingly quite throughout the whole walk.

I noisily opened my front door, lead him inside and closed it with a sigh of relief.

But then everything came crashing down on me in an instant; I have just invited a strange man into my home, I mentally face palmed myself, I have officially gone insane.

"Are you done talking to yourself so that you can answer my question?" I nearly jumped out of my skin when I realized he was talking to me.

"Oh, I'm sorry; your question was?"

"Where am I" He sounded impatient.

He was making me nervous, "As in right where you're standing or state?" his green eyes sharpened in my direction, then with two long strides he was right in front of me. I didn't know I moved until I felt the hard wooden door behind me. "Tell me now or I will end your life" I trembled when I felt his fingers wrap around my neck. He is really gonna to do it!

My eyes widened as the realization hit me; I immediately struggled to get his hand off of me, but he just tightened his grip. "P please, s stop" his eyes searched mine then a slow smile began to make his way towards his face "hmm are you goin…" he was cut off by a low growl coming from behind him, his eyes lowered to the source of the growl. "Tom!" a flash of black fur went straight to his arm, in an instant I was gasping for air. I looked down, while still trying to calm my pounding heart, to find my guest held to the floor by my (out of the ordinary huge) 3 month old Rottweiler puppy.

"Get this Beast off of me!" he seethed; breathing heavily through his nose, yet wisely staying still as Tom continued to growl at him. I finally regained my composure and squatted down to his level.

"First off, he's a dog (well more like a puppy, but I'll get to that later) and secondly his names Tom!" he tried to maneuver his hand towards me but Toms quick eyes saw him and snapped his jaw at him; to which he quickly recoiled back. "If you try to hurt me one more time, I'll call the cops!" he seemed to realize the position he was in and nodded grimly. I narrowed my eyes at him but grudgingly agreed, I gently stroked Tom's soft fur, and he looked up and reluctantly got off yet still keeping a sharp eye on him. My visitor slowly stood up while cautiously looking at Tom, "I'm sorry, this is all very strange for me and you did just try to kill me" I casually walked over to my couch and sat down; Tom jumped on and lay down on my lap. I looked up to find him staring at me with calculating eyes; I rolled my eyes and gestured for him to sit down besides me. He aversely strode over and sat down, "ok, how about we start off with the formalities then straight to questions." I cleared my throat "My names Selene, I'm 24 I live in San Antonio TX and to which you currently are in right now, I hope that answers your first question. He slowly glanced around the apartment then back at me, I raised my eyebrow "your turn" he sighed but acknowledged it. "I am Loki of Asgard I've been sent here to your planet as punishment for my actions" my eyes widened as I finally recognized his face and attire, "you're Loki; and your brother he's Thor isn't he!" He simply nodded and ran his hand thru his sleek black hair, "wait, you were the cause of all those deaths in New York, you're a murderer!" completely unaffected by my outburst he shrugged "they wouldn't obey so of what use were they be to me" I sat there completely mortified by his response "why would your father send you here if your dangerous to humans?" ignoring my question his nostril flared, "He is not my Father!" I felt toms muscles flex as he gave a warning rumble, hoping to calm him down I rephrased it "I'm sorry, why would Odin send you here?" returning to his senses he continued "he has seized me of my powers until I learn my lesson" "and do you know what your lesson is" he looked up and stared at me; his eyes seemed to glow under the lights. Still on my lap Tom yawned while stretching his back I blew thru my nose releasing the air I never knew I was holding in, gently I carried tom to the floor and stood up to stretch as well still feeling his eyes on me. "Well that's enough talking for one night" I glanced over at the clock on the wall to find out its already past 1, I went to one of the closets and took out a spare blanket. "For now you can sleep on the couch seeing as to I wasn't prepared for a guest the guest rooms not ready yet, here" he took it with a curt nod; I gave a small smile and turned around Tom right on my heels once I reached my door I turned towards him, "Loki?" he twisted on the sofa "try not to leave in the middle of night, other people might not react as tolerant as I do" he began to turn back "oh and Loki youre not in Asgard anymore" with that I went inside my room shrugged off my clothes and jumped into bed Tom snuggling by my feet it's gonna be a long day.

YES! finally ch 3 is here ahh gosh these past couple of weeks have been tough. and yes i know the dog's name is Tom but i couldnt resist _ anyway i hope you enjoy! till next time.
