I walked in and started to take pictures. This place is cool! I thought to myself. That's when I noticed something that looked like the arc reactor. Then, it came to me. This was the Former location of Stark Industries!
"Jewel!" I cringed at the sound of that voice.
"Sophee! How are you?" I replied.
"Good! And you?"
"Hanging in there. Just spending the summer with my brother. What about you? When did you move to California?" I asked.
"Oh... about 2 or 3 months ago. Job relocation." Sophee replied.
"What do you mean Job relocation?"
"My new boss moved me out here. Told me I was working in the West coast branch of our job."
"Huh, who do you work for?" I asked, sitting down at Sophee's table.
"Some dude named Loki."
"Loki?"
"Yeah."
I thought to myself, where have I heard that name before?
"Oh! Now I remember why I was moved out here!" Sophee exclaimed, "Loki sent me out here to develop a plan to help him overtake the Avengers."
I nearly choked on my drink.
"The Avengers? Have fun! They are the most strategic fighters in the world! That's a pretty tall order Sophee."
"Yeah, Oh well."
"I need to run out to my car real quick. I will be right back." I said, heading out to my car.
"Okay!" Sophee shouted.
As I opened the door, Black Widow embraced me in a hug and the others ran up.
"What took so long? Are you alright?" Hawkeye asked.
"I'm fine." I replied, "But Hawkeye, I could use your help with something..."
"What's that?" He asked.
"Change out of your uniform, then, follow me."
Hawkeye went off to change while I told the others about what I encountered inside. I could tell that they were in shock. I got JARVIS to run a background scan of my old friend.
"Find anything interesting?" Hawkeye asked, walking over to the car. He was in a pair of dark jeans and a dark purple tshirt.
"No, well, not really. We used to go to school together, back in... Middle school I believe." I replied.
