Chapter 28 – Race against Time
When Tony got inside the huge Hall, his eyes widened like a tiny grade school kid staring at a candy store. There was a huge panel up front and so many chairs all over the place. Tony walked forward as a lot of cosplayers looked his way. There were guys in Final Fantasy outfits, adventure time cartoon hats, some Hobbit fans too! Tony was in Cosplay heaven.
"Will you look at that?" Tony eyed a few girls at the corner. "Now that is a costume."
"They are barely clothed, Sir." Jarvis interrupted him.
"Are you kidding me?" Tony laughed. "That's the best thing ever."
The girls waved at Tony, who waved back with a grin on his face. Tony wondered what they would do if they found out that he was the Tony Stark. They'll probably hurl themselves at him. He was a famous guy, and probably just as famous here as well.
He was in heaven.
"Sir, I just received the sensor warning from your phone."
"What's the matter?"
"I believe Mr. Loki has disabled me."
"How'd he do that?"
"I'm not sure, Sir. My indicators point to his magic."
"Is he alive?"
"He asked me to order food from the Hotel when you were away."
"I was planning to buy him take out!" Tony grunted. "Oh well… is there a way to reboot yourself and reconnect us back to the phone?"
"I do not think it is possible, Sir."
"He was fine when you—" Tony cut himself off and grimaced when he looked at the crowd. "If I see the word Stony on a cardboard box again, I swear I'm going to hurl! It's like naming kidney stones, or finding a rock and naming it Stony. It's just… well I can't deny it, but it does have a nice ring to it, a hot name for a hot guy like me."
"As usual, Sir," Jarvis said. "Your lack of humor is frightening."
"I need to be drunk to make a good comeback." He sighed. "Was there anything else going on before Loki short circuited the connections?"
"He contacted Dr. Banner."
"Seriously?"
"Yes, Sir." If Jarvis could only sigh, he would have done it by now. "I may have lost connections, but I can patch us through to Dr. Banner's phone if you wish."
"Nah," Tony shrugged. "If they're talking to each other, leave them alone. They're still talking, right? You can make sure through Banner's phone, right?"
"Yes, Sir."
"Good."
Suddenly, the lights dimmed.
"Ohhh…" Tony smirked. "Show time."
oOo
Loki felt heavy and strange, almost dazed. He could hear Thor's voice calling out to him from the Stark's phone sitting beside him. He felt numb again. When he reached out and touched the phone, Loki felt static rise up his arm. Loki jerked his hand away as soon as he felt it. He watched as his magic swirled around the device and perhaps short circuited it out. Loki suddenly panicked. Frightened that he may have lost his chance to talk to Thor again, he looked at the device again.
Loki blinked.
What did he do?
"Are you well, Loki?"
"Aye," Loki rubbed his eyes.
"Are you sure?"
"No."
Loki stood up and stumbled to the bedroom, leaving the bed sheet on the couch. He closed the door to his room and stayed there with his back turned to the door. Loki breathed heavily and held the phone with his shaking hand.
"Loki?"
"I feel warm again." Loki said. "Warmer than usual."
Suddenly, he slumped to the floor and leaned heavily on the door. Loki heard incoherent talking on the other end of the phone. He was already feeling dizzy and the room wouldn't stop spinning. The phone was left on the floor and Loki was so sure that Thor had passed him to Banner or placed him on speaker.
"I can't keep my eyes open."
"Loki, I need you to go to the bathroom and put yourself in cold water." Bruce ordered. "Right now!"
"Why?" He groaned.
"Just listen to what Banner is saying, Loki." Thor said.
"I don't want to die alone."
"You are not going to die."
"I want to go home."
The line went silent.
Almost dead.
And Loki felt lonely again.
"Thor?" Loki called pleadingly.
"I cannot go down there, Loki. Stark is away so please, do as we ask you to." Thor begged him. "I do not want to lose you."
The agony in Thor's voice was too much to bear.
"If you insist."
Loki pushed himself up from the floor and opened the door to the bathroom and closed it immediately. He began to fill the tub with water. Loki sat on the floor and placed the phone right next to him. The water was cold, to the point where it was freezing, and Loki waited for it to fill.
Drip.
Loki listened to the water filling the tub, as he also tried to listen to the strong rain outside. For some reason, he wanted to drown in it. He wanted to be submerged in tears and let it all out. Every sorrow, every dull pain and ache in his mind and heart.
It was easy to accept a lie, but why wasn't it easy to accept the truth?
"I am right here, Loki." Thor whispered.
"I know."
Loki sat the phone right next to him.
Click.
Creeeaakkk…..
He heard the door click from the living room and wondered if it was Tony who came back to get him. But Loki knew that if it was Tony, the man would have screamed his name out in worry. So Loki chose a different and far less complicated thought instead.
"I think my food is here," Loki mumbled. "I do not want to get up."
"Stay where you are, brother." Thor said. "Allow them to leave the food there, but standing is not an option."
"You might collapse," Bruce whispered.
Suddenly, the door to the bedroom creaked open.
Loki immediately shut off the faucet when the tub was full.
There was an eerie silence.
"Loki?" Thor asked.
Loki tried to listen to the strange white noise.
"Loki, what is going on?"
Loki shut off the speaker of the phone, but kept Thor on line. He casually staggered out of the bathroom and into the dark bedroom. It wasn't closed before, so why was the lights off now? Loki eyed the open the door and the light from the lamp outside, he wondered why it was open in the first place.
Loki tilted his head in confusion, and felt sick to his stomach again.
"I knew you missed me."
Loki spun to see Tucker grinning like a mad man in the corner of the room, no wonder Loki did not see him. Loki's eyes widened as he felt a sudden fear rush up his body.
If Tucker was here, where was the Other?
"Loki—Loki—Loki,"
The way Tucker said his name was frightening.
And it all happened in a flash.
Loki tried to run to the living room, but there was a silent bang and bright flash that sent him sprawling to the floor and onto the carpet. Loki wailed in agony as the pain hit him. He had fallen on his stomach and he tried to push himself with his hands and knees.
"I'm not letting you run."
Tucker dug a foot on Loki's back, keeping him down.
"Ugh—cough—" Loki wailed. "Wait…"
"It's okay."
The pressure on Loki's back was gone, and he saw Tucker move in front of him. Loki dizzily lay on his side, as he lifted his gaze to Tucker. Tucker was smiling at him, happily waving the gun with the silencer. Loki glared at him and pushed himself to lie on his back.
"I swear—I'm go—going to kill you."
"Your threats are seriously meaningless and stupid, Sweetheart." Tucker knelt by Loki's side and tucked a messy hair from Loki's face. "I didn't want to hurt you that bad, but I had to."
Loki's left leg was bleeding badly.
"Don't worry. I didn't target a working artery on your leg." Tucker smirked, patting the injured leg. "So you'll live."
Loki groaned in pain when Tucker applied pressure on the wound.
"Hurts—"
"Shhh…" Tucker wiped the tears in Loki's eyes. "It's okay."
Loki felt sick, warm, nauseous and in pain.
"I'll make you feel better."
Loki took time to eye Tucker, unlike he did before.
Tucker was as big as Thor.
He had muscles almost as big as Thor's but not exaggeratingly so. Tucker had a hard face, and if Loki would dare try and look past the fear he had, he might've thought him to look somewhat handsome. In some sense, Tucker was pretty much the human version of the Other because of his rough idea and mind.
"What do you want from me?" Loki asked in fear. "What did I ever do to you?"
"You want to know?" He laughed. "Okay, fine I'll humor you."
Loki stared at the insane man.
"Once upon a time, Tucker was kind of like a collector. He believed that Aliens weren't real," Tucker caressed Loki's cheek. "Myths weren't real. Asgard wasn't real. But he collected rare things. And there I was, trying to understand what they all meant in the world and what purpose they have."
"Stop touching me."
Loki shivered at the touch of Tucker's cold skin compared to his warm ones.
"You're pretty warm, Loki."
"Whose fault was that?" Loki sneered.
"Back to my story, Hydra shed some light on that subject. They took me in when no one wanted to, funded my finds and praised me for my collections. Kind of like a bounty hunter. Shield came along eventually, but it wasn't enough."
"Collector?" Loki wondered.
"Bounty hunter is more of the term I like. But yeah, exotic stuff," Tucker pulled Loki to his feet. "Like you."
"Wait!"
Loki shouted as he yanked his hand back.
"Stop it!"
"Shhh!" Tucker covered Loki's mouth. "Quiet."
Loki continued to talk through the hand covering his mouth, pleadingly. Tucker smirked and gave Loki's forehead a quick kiss as he lifted Loki. Loki staggered in pain when he moved his injured leg. He cried out as Tucker hugged him. Thanks to the drug, Loki felt almost human, and practically useless.
The bullet shouldn't have penetrated his skin.
It shouldn't have.
"Stop it, please." Loki cried out.
"Shut up."
"I don't understand what you want from me!" Loki screamed.
"Why do you think I'm so good at hunting you?" Tucker laughed. "I want a piece of you, that's what."
Loki was lifted carelessly on Tucker's shoulders and brought back into the bedroom. Loki felt Tucker's hand ghost itself to his waist and Loki eyed the floor in a daze. When Tucker brought him into the bedroom, he uncaringly shoved Loki off him, causing Loki to scream when he landed.
Tucker laughed.
"I didn't think it was this easy." He said. "You're not even fighting me off."
He locked the door to the bedroom and allowed Loki to curl in the middle of the floor in pain.
"You must really be sick."
"Go to Hel." Loki groaned.
He hated Tucker.
"What?" He turned back to Loki. "You're not even going to try insulting me more? Tucker-got-your-tongue? Because I soon might."
Loki couldn't talk.
The words were complicated to say.
"Left leg injury, bruised rib from that fall, nausea, a really bad fever and no magic." Tucker tsk'ed and started laughing. "Poor thing. I should put you out of your misery."
Loki pushed himself up to sit, feeling a bruising on his side.
"What are you doing?" Loki asked.
"You'll love it."
Loki stared up at Tucker, who stood in front of him and unbuckled his belt with a maniac grin on his face. Loki's eyes widened and backed away slowly, tears forming in his eyes. Loki could feel every little memory returning to him. And just when he thought those nightmares were over. It seemed like it was just the beginning for him.
Those wild scratches,
Those bite marks,
The painful screaming that left his throat dry,
The pain and ache in his body,
He hated it.
Loki didn't want to remember any of those things.
"No," Loki croaked, feeling his hand, shake. "Please, don't."
"So now you find your voice," Tucker pulled the belt off his waist. "Don't worry Sweetheart, you're too excited. I still want my foreplay."
"I swear—t—to the Norns, you'll pay for this." Loki tried as his voice cracked.
"Nothing but empty threats."
"You'll die painfully when—"
"When what?"
Tucker smirked at him and knelt down, pulling Loki's hands together in front of him. Loki struggled to fight him off but Tucker yanked him hard and close to his chest, making Loki whine in shock. Tucker held Loki's wrists with a bruising grip, making Loki scrunch his face in pain.
Stop struggling…
"Stop fighting me." Tucker whispered, remembering the Other's words to him. "Just accept it. Accept your fate."
Accept your fate!
Loki began to panic as he knew those exact words.
They told him that before.
"You're just a useless, good for nothing Prince," Tucker continued to whisper. "Cast out by his people, his family and especially his brother. But don't worry, you're not useless…"
That line.
Cast out…
"Stop struggling, Loki."
Forgotten…
Those exact words!
How did Tucker know them?
"Shhh…"
Tucker pecked Loki's lips.
Suddenly, Loki felt the pain and heat rise inside of his body, making him lose his focus. Loki stopped moving, stopped fighting and allowed his hands to stay limp in Tucker's grasp. Tucker smiled as Loki stayed still. He lets go of Loki's hands as they fell back on the trickster's lap.
Loki was crying.
Frozen from where he sat silently.
"A Prince with no home," Tucker sighed. "And no one to follow him."
Loki looked away as Tucker kissed Loki's cheek.
"You're not useless," Tucker wiped Loki's tears. "Not to me."
Tucker took the belt and pulled Loki's hands together, but a little more gently this time. He buckled Loki's hand tightly and made sure it would stay perfectly tied up. Tucker watched as Loki eyed the restraints and looked up at him with pleading eyes.
"Bite me again and I'll shoot your other leg." He warned.
He eyed his work before punishing Loki with a bruising kiss.
Loki's mouth was forced open as Tucker's tongue rummaged through. Loki weakly pushed him off, but nothing happened. Tucker pushed Loki to the floor and crawled on top of him, planting his hand on the nape of Loki's neck and the other was placed tightly on the Trickster's waist.
Loki cried silently.
He allowed the tears to fall.
So many horrible memories he could recall.
Tucker pulled away with a soft juicy smack as he licked his wet lips and eyed his beautiful work. He stared at Loki's blown pupils, those wet teary eyes and swollen pink lips. The way Loki's hair was messy and Loki's thin lean form fit underneath him made Tucker shudder.
"Please, stop." Loki begged.
Tucker was turned on.
"Shh…. Quiet." He pecked Loki's lips.
Loki was in agony.
He could feel the memories crashing down on him. Every painful memory coming back to haunt him, he had to endure. Loki squeaked in fear when he felt Tucker's hand plant itself down to his waist. He massaged Loki's waist in circles with his thumb, trying to loosen Loki up.
Loki whined.
Struggling to follow what the man wanted.
He didn't want this.
No one in this situation would ever come to want this.
"Shut up." Tucker sighed.
Loki felt sick to his stomach when he was pulled back to his lips. Tucker moaned inside his mouth and Loki couldn't stop picturing the memories of every horrid detail of his time with the Chitauri. He had believed he was strong enough to endure it. He had believed he had gotten past it, but apparently, he was wrong.
Here he was, living his nightmares.
Loki could picture Tucker's death as easily as he pictures his own.
All brutal and unyielding,
So shameful and dishonorable,
And completely unforgettable.
When Tucker finished his little mouth to mouth game, he pulled Loki by the hair and dragged him to the bathroom. Loki cried out in pain and fear. They did this too. They had pulled him by the hair, uncaring of how much he screamed or pleaded. So Loki didn't bother to shout. He didn't bother to struggle. He felt sick to his stomach, and the heat was unbearable.
Loki staggered, leaving a trail of blood on the carpet.
"There we go." Tucker laughed as he shoved Loki inside.
Loki fell to the floor with a groan and saw Tony's phone. When Tucker had his back turned to lock the bathroom, Loki had shoved the phone underneath the sink, allowing Thor to listen to what was going on. Suddenly, Loki found Tucker on top of him, straddling his waist and holding his buckled up hands above his head.
"Wait—please—" Loki shouted.
"Shh… before I start thinking about my job." Tucker said as he buried the thoughts of the tesseract. "Damn, I want to do so many things to you. I don't know where to start."
Mercy was not on his side.
Tucker crawled on top of Loki and straddled his waist, Loki couldn't help but look up, especially when Tucker lifted his bound hands over his head and pinned it there. Loki closed his eyes when Tucker moved his hips to Loki's. Loki forced himself to reject the very idea of it.
He was scared.
So scared.
But he fought himself, trying not to allow any sounds to come out of his mouth. He didn't find this pleasurable, he found this downright sadistic and torture filled. Tucker licked his lips when he saw Loki scrunch his face in disgust, forcing himself to be silent.
"Come on, Loki." Tucker ground his hips again. "I'll make you scream."
He lowered himself to Loki's lips.
Loki's mouth was forced open as he was held in place on the ground. Tucker moaned wantonly as Loki stopped himself from doing the same. It was a normal reaction for the body and Tucker was so cold. So cold against his warm skin, that it was unbearable. Loki writhed underneath him, trying to push him off, but Tucker stayed in place, enjoying Loki's miniscule struggles.
"Make a sound."
oOo
"Loki?" Thor asked.
"What's wrong, Thor?" Bruce wondered.
"Loki is not answering." He grimaced. "Did he hang up?"
Bruce took the phone from Thor.
When he eyed it, there was still a connection and when he listened to it, he heard shuffling on the other end. Bruce put it on speaker as both he and Thor listened carefully. They heard static and a faint murmur in the other room and just when they were about to figure the rest out,
Selvig barged inside the lab.
"The cure is done." He panted. "They're giving it to Natasha."
Thor and Bruce hurried themselves to the infirmary to see Clint, staring at the window from the hall. They stopped and eyed as Natasha was slowly being injected with the drug through the tube and her IV bag was adjusted. They were timing it, trying to sync it with her heart.
"How is she?" Bruce breathed.
"They're giving it to her." Clint mumbled.
Suddenly, Hill and Fury were running down the hall towards them.
They stopped by the window and watched as silently as possible. Thor on the other hand couldn't pay attention to what they were doing. He didn't know why he was called there in the first place. He was listening to the phone in his ear, trying to make out the faint whispers.
Thor had heard a silent bang and a thud.
"Did it work?" Clint asked softly.
"We're sure it's the cure." Selvig turned to Bruce and nodded at him. "We have to monitor her further and see if her body is taking the drug well. It takes a while for her to react to it, but she'll be fine."
"We have to wait." Fury said.
They were all silent, standing there in the hallway.
Waiting.
Watching.
"Loki?" Thor shouted suddenly. "What is happening there? Can you hear me?"
Thor walked away from the group and muttered Loki's name a few times, trying to control his anger. Hill, Fury, Clint, Bruce and Selvig eyed him with worry as the Helicarrier rumbled from the thunder outside. Thor was letting his emotions get the better of him, and that was not a good sign.
"What's the matter with him?" Fury glared.
"Loki called me." Bruce admitted.
Clint listened while he watched Natasha's chest move up and down. Her face was rid of the pain and certain bliss replaced itself in her features. It lifted Clint's spirits a little, but that didn't give him any reason to celebrate just yet. Thor was in hysteria, and Clint knew something was up.
"What did he say?" Hill curiously asked.
"It was an accident." Bruce said. "That's not the strangest thing. I gave the phone to Thor and they were having a brotherly chat when all of a sudden, Loki said he thought the food was there."
"They were staying at a hotel, what's wrong with that?" Fury raised an eyebrow.
"What's the problem then?" Selvig wondered.
"Loki stopped answering Thor." Bruce sighed. "He just stopped answering."
"Banner!" Thor walked over to them quickly.
Clint's attention was now focused on Thor as he left Natasha.
"I can hear another voice other than Loki's." Thor's eyes were full of worry. "Something has happened to my brother."
Bruce took the phone from Thor and placed it on speaker. All six of them listened and they were positive that someone else was on the other end of the line, talking to a screaming Loki. It was faint, mumbling and barely audible sound on the other end, that it caused concern for all of them.
"Do you hear that?" Selvig whispered.
"His voice sounds familiar." Clint grimaced. "You think it's the guy we're looking for?"
"Could be," Hill mumbled. "Have you tried the camera?"
Bruce tried to contact through the camera, but it was no use. "Can't," He sighed. "The phone's faced on the ceiling. Or— wait— that's not a ceiling. That's underneath the sink."
"Probably a bathroom," Clint eyed it.
"Hill," Fury turned to Hill and gave her a nod.
"Enhancing audio," She nodded back. She took her phone out and punched a few codes and hacked into Bruce's phone. She fixed the audio and adjusted it, and with a swipe of a finger, she increased the volume.
Footsteps.
"There we go." Tucker laughed.
Thud.
"Ow…" Loki groaned.
Suddenly, all six of them heard shuffling and a disgruntled Loki squeaked in fear. Loki seemed like he was sobbing, but they couldn't tell. Thor was shocked, unable to process what was happening. Selvig finally felt sorry for Loki, while Hill and Fury tried to keep a composed face amidst all the worried ones. Clint was downright pissed.
"Wait—please—"
"Shh… before I start thinking about my job." Tucker huffed. "I want to do so many things to you. I don't know where to start."
They heard shuffling again.
A belt buckle clanked to the tiles.
"Come on, Loki." Tucker moaned. "I'll make you scream."
There were sloppy kisses.
Juicy sounds that made them cringe in disgust.
"Make a sound."
Loki cried out in pain on the other end when Tucker had bit his shoulder and dug his teeth in.
"Please stop!" Loki sobbed, thrashing. "THOOORR!"
"QUIET!"
Suddenly, Loki's mouth was covered and they couldn't hear him, but they could hear Tucker's menacing threat to keep his mouth shut if he didn't want another leg injury. Loki sobered up and panted quietly, and they could hear a few kisses here and there while Loki whined and complained.
"Damn it, your mouth is so good."
There was a wet plop when Tucker made a mark on Loki's shoulder.
Loki shouted threats at him, all while trying to keep his fears and panic attack at bay. Loki continued to writhe underneath Tucker in uncontrollable body reaction while Tucker thought Loki was enjoying it.
"Oh no,"
Bruce pinched the bridge of his nose and looked away.
He was a little green.
Thor was pale, sickened at the thought of his brother being assaulted and may possibly lead into another rape. Something that Thor had said he would prevent. Thor felt sick, so sick and worried that the rain reflected his emotions. It was a storm. Hill and Fury could understand, and they were each worried, but their hard faces were the complete opposite. They never reveal true emotion, not unless it called for it. This was the time where they had to be strong amongst others. Clint held his fists tightly as he eyed Natasha and wondered what she would do in this kind of situation. He had helped Loki before and look where it got Natasha, but he figured that if Natasha helped Loki for a reason, he would give it another chance.
They couldn't see what was happening.
They could only guess what those sounds were.
"GET OFF ME!"
"How dare he?" Thor clenched his fists and shouted. "H—how dare he!?"
Thunder rumbled the skies.
"Please stop!" Loki cried out, hearing the thunder. "You don't know what you're doing."
"Shut up, won't you!"
Tucker bit him again and sucked.
Loki moaned.
"Ow… ugh… S—stop…"
"He is…" Thor growled. "I am going down there."
"No." Fury glared. "If you burst down there, people will see you! Not only that but you'll cause property damage if you destroy anything."
"Even if you do get down there," Hill added. "Loki's almost human because of that drug and you might risk hurting him more than Tucker is doing now."
"He is assaulting my brother!"
"The drug, it's done." Clint said with determination. "I'm going down there."
"What about Natasha?" Selvig wondered.
"She'll be fine without me." He said. "You gave her the drug, its Loki's turn. I know where the hotel is. I'll get there and stop him. Tell Stark to stay with Cap and I'll handle Tucker."
"Take the Quinjet and the motorcycle." Fury said. "Selvig, give the cure to Barton and he'll take it from here."
"Calm down, Thor." Bruce mumbled.
"It is not only I who should calm down." Thor stared at Bruce.
He was right.
He was turning a bit green.
Selvig walked down the hall quickly while Clint followed.
"Hill, call Stark. There has to be a reason he's not warning us of this." Fury said. "The connection was probably lost and he doesn't know what the hell is happening."
oOo
"Let's all welcome, Tony Stark!" The announcer said without actually pointing at him. "Or as people call him, Rob Devan!"
Tony was with a group of random people in the crowd, cheering on as the lights opened and the music blared. Tony knew everything was going to be so cool. People were chanting his name as the actor came out. He didn't appear on the stage, but in the audience. The spot light was on him and Tony gaped at the counterpart. They looked exactly alike, along with the goatee, except this guy looked younger with the hair cut.
An exact replica.
"Damn!" Tony laughed. "I look hot!"
Rob went up the stage and took a microphone and waved a hand to the audience who continued to cheer as loud as they could. Rob laughed and paced on stage before he talked. Tony realized that's practically what he'd do, and boy was that a shocker.
"Yeah, I actually get that a lot." Rob replied.
"Get what?" The announcer said.
"Tony Stark." He smirked.
"Holy shit," Tony muttered. "Jarvis, you getting this?"
"I am recording it as we speak, Sir."
"If he says something to you, will you recognize the command?"
"I believe so, Sir." Jarvis said. "You are one and the same."
"Damn!"
"Welcome to," Rob said with the same tenacity as Tony Stark would. "Avengers: Age of Ultron."
The crowd cheered.
"I have to say Jarvis, this guy has style." Tony smirked.
"Sir, Mr. Rogers is three blocks down target destination." Jarvis announced.
"That's good."
"Alright, I know how eager you all are to meet everyone! I question if I'm enough for all of you, which I probably am." Rob laughed when people shouted I love you to him. "Anyways, we've gathered here today, yada—yada—you know the drill. Let me welcome a few friends of mine," Rob pointed back stage. "Give a round of applause to the loving Russo known as Bruce Banner!"
"Science Bro's!" Tony cheered.
"Hi guys!" Russo waved a hand awkwardly. "It's so nice to be here. Again."
"We all know you love it, Banner." Rob chewed gum.
"I do." He laughed. "I do."
Rob laughed with him.
"It's like a blossoming relationship of pure ecstasy." Tony shrugged. "It's so weird how exact everything is. It's almost illogically impossible, but here I am witnessing it."
They welcomed Sharlotte, who was cheered on by the crowd of people. They admired her beauty, her strength and her whole attitude. She was just eye capturing and beautiful. They welcomed Jeremiah next, who sat by Sharlotte's side.
"This is frightening." Tony said. "Natasha's smiling and Barton's kind of like a freeloader."
"We can't forget Captain America!" The announcer shouted. "Let's welcome, Evans!"
"Hey!" Evans waved and sat on the chair, grinning. "I'm so happy to be here."
"Total opposite of Steve," Tony told himself. "Wow."
"Unfortunately," Rob spoke out. "We just got a message from Chris."
The crowd awed.
"Yeah, we did receive a message." He stressed out. "Because of the heavy weather and intense rain, Chris is stuck in traffic and would be here in a few minutes. He told us not to wait for him. But rest assured he will be here."
The crowd cheered again.
Suddenly, people screamed Loki's name.
"We hear this a lot." Jeremiah said dryly.
"It's not a surprise anymore." Sharlotte smirked.
"And we know," Evans answered the crowd. "We miss Tom too."
People started screaming out loud at the sheer love. Tony felt a bit overwhelmed. He hadn't realized that they were so famous in this world. He had watched the love they gave Loki at Hall H in that video, but damn, they still cared. Tony watched as they announced other actors that were in the movie as well, but Tony was cut off from joining the crowd when Jarvis interrupted him.
"Sir, there's interference with my signals." Jarvis said. "My sensors are picking up the same interference from the Helicarrier."
"Don't tell me."
He took a good look around.
"The Other?"
"Quite right, Sir."
Tony breathed. "Is he in the room?"
"He is, Sir."
"Shit, Jarvis track him now."
Tony looked around the room. His sensors picked up facial features as similar as the Other but are being debunked by the sheer logic that they're made from plastic and clay. Tony tried looking everywhere, but with so many people around moving with their costumes, it was difficult to locate him.
"Got him!"
Tony looked at the side of the stage. The Other was standing there, eying the counterparts who now sat on stage. Tony eyed him, but the Other looked as if it was trapped in his own daze.
"What's he doing?"
"Sir, there's a call from Agent Hill."
"Put her on." Tony heard static. "Hello?"
"Loki's in danger." Hill said.
"What?"
"It's Loki, Stark. We can hear him on the other end of the line from Banner's phone." Fury said. "He's in danger. That Hydra Agent Tucker is with him at your hotel."
"Shit!" Tony said, moving away from his spot to a corner for some silence. "No wonder! The Other is here at the Comic Con. I think he plans to interfere with out counterparts or use them. I'm going back."
"No!" Fury shouted. "Stay where you are. You can't blow your cover, Stark. Deal with the Other and leave Tucker to Barton."
"You have the cure?" Tony asked.
"Barton's already headed down there as we speak. Leave it to him!"
"You want me to wait while I find out Loki's being molested?" He breathed. "He's already been through enough tortures to last him a lifetime."
"Calm down, Tony." Bruce said. "Fury held Thor back too."
"But Bruce…"
"Listen, Tony. Leave it to Clint. He's already headed to Loki. He left the Quinjet in central park, with Thor's storm, nobody will find it. Just keep everything clear and everyone safe over there. Then head back to central park."
"How long will Barton get to Loki?"
"A few minutes." Hill answered.
Tony palmed his faceplate in frustration as he turned to look at the Other. The Other was gone, and Tony went into panic. He looked everywhere, but he couldn't find the damn bastard anywhere inside the room. The hall was too crowded for Tony to search every single person, so Tony decided on something else.
"Fine, I'll take your word for it that Barton will get there." Tony breathed. "I'll take care of the Other."
"Wait for Rogers, Stark!"
oOo
Loki struggled when Tucker continued to claim him. Loki was just thankful the man took his time, giving Loki enough to think about what to do and plan his escape. The man loved him to the point of obsession and property, not like Thor loved him or anyone else.
Tucker had released his grip of Loki's bound hands and allowed Loki to rest them on his chest. Loki was so tired and completely out of breath. He could feel things pressing against him that he'd rather not think about. He was a bit numb, and still completely sick.
Too warm.
"Ahh…"
Loki cried out as Tucker bit him underneath his ear and sucked.
He writhed and kicked his legs tiredly as Tucker nibbled on his flesh. Tucker liked it when Loki made a sound, but Loki despised every fiber of his own being for succumbing into such a situation.
"No more," Loki pleaded.
He had allowed his fears to get the better of him without even trying to fight. And the end result was the bruised, violated body he had. He was thankful they hadn't gotten to the worst part yet. Something that Tucker told him, he'd have to wait for.
Loki had marks.
So many marks on his neck and his chest, while his face was bright red from everything.
Loki had lost count.
Tucker teased him, unraveled him before his very eyes, and Loki could do nothing to protect the dignity he had left. Loki just wanted for someone to come get him and wisp him away. The wait was agonizingly slow and the man was annoying as hell.
Thunder.
Loki heard the thunder from outside.
It rumbled.
"S—stop," Loki panted. "I—I can't ta—take it anymore."
"It's just the beginning." Tucker panted along with him. "I'm not yet inside of you and you're already rejecting me."
"Go to Hel." Loki hissed.
Suddenly, Loki was pulled up to Tucker's lap, allowing him to sit there. Tucker looped Loki's arms around his neck while Loki's bound hands were behind Tucker. Loki felt Tucker's hands edge down his waist, lifting up his shirt and teasing his back side with a scratch. Loki closed his eyes and felt an ache all over his body.
He didn't know if it was the drug or if it was the position of his arms from earlier.
Loki's body hates him.
"I like this position." Tucker smirked. "Gives me more leverage."
"Shut up." Loki leaned on him, feeling utterly drained.
"I know. You're tired," He said. "And you're bleeding out from your leg, pretty badly."
"Took you long to notice." Loki eyed his leg.
Blood had already pooled on the floor.
So familiar.
"You'll heal." Tucker said as he gave Loki kisses.
Thunder boomed from the sky.
There it was again.
Thor was trying to tell Loki something.
FIGHT.
Thor was telling him not to surrender.
STAND UP.
Thunder boomed again, strongly this time.
KEEP GOING.
Loki remained calm.
He gathered his strength and decided to think for once.
Tucker nipped Loki's lips, kissing it wantonly and sucking. Loki remained still, trying to think of a way to get back at Tucker. He nibbled Loki's ear and whispered sweet nothings, making Loki shiver in fear. Tucker moved his hips up, making Loki squeak in shock.
He didn't expect that.
"You like that?" Tucker laughed. "I do. Maybe by the time we're done, you'll give me the tesseract as thanks."
"You wish," Loki thought.
Oh, he wanted to kill him.
A Death so painful...
Loki would laugh.
Thor wanted Loki to fight, to stand up for himself and to keep going.
Loki listened.
Thunder roared through the skies.
Encouragement.
As Tucker continued his advances, Loki was pulling the belt apart.
He yanked.
And continued to yank it…
He pulled apart harder.
Loki gathered enough strength, but only to loosely be able to shift it as the belt dug into his skin. The belt was stuck in that position, so unless he could yank out the metal holding it in place, he won't be going anywhere.
"The fun part." Tucker smirked.
Loki panted as Tucker's hand moved lower, Loki's lips quivered, fearing the worst.
This was it.
"Wait!" Loki shouted. "Wait— hold on—"
Tucker stopped. "What?"
"I— not—not yet." He voiced out, hoping to stall a bit longer.
No doubt, help was on the way.
Loki already knew what to do.
The belt was coming loose, and as long as he manages to twist his wrists and get the metal out, he would be home free. Loki could still feel Tucker's finger inches away, so Loki did the best he could to try and stall.
Loki kissed him.
In shock, Tucker moaned and pried his hands away from Loki's lower body and cupped his neck.
Loki moaned back, trying to charm his way into the man's desires to distract him. Tucker punished him with a bruising kiss and moved his hips up.
"This better be worth it." Loki disgustingly thought.
Loki wanted this man dead!
But Loki tried to keep the man distracted.
Loki pushed back with a kiss, moved his lips to Tucker's ear, nibbling. Little did Tucker know that Loki was eyeing the restraints on his wrists. Behind Tucker's back, Loki was picking on the metal handle.
Planning his revenge…
As Tucker kissed and sucked his neck, Loki yanked the metal from the belt and bit Tucker's shoulder. Tucker screamed in ecstasy as Loki's teeth dug deep enough to draw blood. When he was finished, Loki licked his bloody lips and held the sharp metal handle with his fingers tips, while the leather belt came loose slipping from his wrists.
On one hand, Loki held the sharp metal, and on the other, he had a leather belt.
Loki smirked behind Tucker's back.
He licked his lips.
Oh the beauty of chaos.
He was finally free.
oOo
TBC…
MWHAHAH… this was so HOT.
I'm sorry, but my brain just got in the way and… I don't think I regret it. xD
At least Loki's free!
