They are both there, on an unknown planet, in an unknown place, several days after Bellamy kicked her off the ship. He has told her that he is no longer her guardian, and that she should no longer expect him to come and rescue her, and yet as soon as he learns that she is being held captive by Gabriel and his followers, he goes all over the forest looking for her. After all, she is his sister, his responsibility.
They are in the tent of Gabriel and his disciples, it contains several tables, chairs, maps on the walls, a workbench where you can see a whole bunch of tools. Nobody should live here, the place should be used as a meeting room.
Since their arrival, they discovered the Prims and their opponents, Gabriel's children. Bellamy hoped that this new planet would be a new beginning for all of them, an opportunity to do better as Monty had asked them to do, but apparently life has decided otherwise again. Problems and conflicts follow them.
He holds his gun firmly and aims it at Gabriel, he thought he wouldn't need it anymore but it was a vain hope.
- Lower your weapon or I descend it. Gabriel says to him by pointing a long blade towards Octavia.
Bellamy hesitates, but ends up removing his weapon and putting it on the ground. Gabriel orders him to give it to her, Bellamy gives a light kick in it which makes slide the weapon to the hostage taker.
- Let her go Gabriel, she has nothing to do with the Prims and the rest. Bellamy pleads.
- Maybe not, but she can fight, and she'll be useful to me in taking them down. We can't let them go on, they're killing people to keep living forever.
Bellamy understands what he means, but there's no way he's going to let him drag Octavia into this, sure, she's a good warrior, but in her current state, she's far too unstable to go into a battlefield. He sees her in a corner of the tent, hands tied, knowing her, it will not be difficult for her to get rid of it. He continues to speak with Gabriel while moving around him, until arriving in front of a workbench, he slips discreetly his hand on this one to catch a screwdriver there. While he continues to try to reason with him, he lets him get close enough to plant the screwdriver in his heart, Gabriel staggers backwards to finally collapse on a table.
Bellamy turns around to find his sister untying the knots in her bonds.
- Thank you to have come. She tells him in a grateful but uncertain voice. He left her alone on a new planet, told her not to count on him anymore, and yet he still came to save her.
Bellamy nods at her before replying:
- We need to get out of here before the others arrive.
Octavia takes a knife which drags, after all, one never knows, they move towards the entry of the tent to check that nobody waits for them, fortunately for them the noise should not have been heard.
They walk as fast as possible in the dense forest, the trees are so voluminous that it is difficult to discern something more than a few meters in front of them. After a long time Octavia, finally decides to break the silence:
- Why did you come? A few days ago, you told me that you didn't want to see me anymore.
Bellamy takes a while to answer, thinking of the best words to say:
- Because you are still my sister, even though I don't understand the choices you made and I blame you for everything that happened in Shadow Valley, if you hadn't started that war, we could have formed a community. But if something had happened to you that I could have prevented, I would have blamed myself.
It's honest, he loves his sister even though he regrets the decisions she made and doesn't exactly understand everything that happened in the bunker, especially during the dark year. He knows that Lincoln's death broke her and that she has never been the same since. He let her sink in her anger and he feels responsible for Bloodreina's appearance, maybe if he had been around her he could have contained her.
They continue to walk, silence settling between them, Octavia turns around as she senses something behind her.
- Bell, look, what is that? She asks him, giving him a light tap on the shoulder so that he turns around.
A green tornado seemingly out of nowhere is approaching them at an astonishing speed.
- I know nothing about it, but run and do not stop you under any pretext. He shouts to her.
They turn around and start running as fast as they can, but the tornado is right on their heels. Bellamy feels like the more he runs to escape it, the closer it gets to swallow them up.
After sprinting for what seemed like an eternity, they hit a black hole.
