CHAPTER 29
Patrick: Hey, you okay...he asks his wife, while snuggling on the couch.
Sabrina: Yea, why?
Patrick: You've been quiet since you came home. What's wrong? I know you...when something is wrong, you get quiet, he smiles kissing her.
Sabrina: Well, you do know me don't you, she smiles turning to face her husband....But I'm okay, really.
Patrick: Sabrina...
Sabrina: Alright...well, on my way out of the hospital before I clocked out someone came up to me.
Patrick: Who?
Sabrina: My ex...
Patrick: Wait, what? He's supposed to be in jail, he says sitting up...
Sabrina: I know...he was released...
Patrick: That's crazy...he tried to kill you and Noah...he should be in for life!
Sabrina: Sweetie...I know...I know...hey, she kisses him. He wanted to tell me something.
Patrick: And that was?
Sabrina explains what Carlos told her about the mob stuff, even though she told him she wouldn't say anything. She didn't feel comfortable keeping the secret from Patrick. They told each other everything!
Patrick: That's just insane, he says stunned by what his wife just told him.
Sabrina: Ya think? I was suppose to keep it secret, but I couldn't keep it from you.
Patrick: Thank you, he kisses her.
Sabrina: Are you worried? She could see the look on his face.
Patrick: Of course...I couldn't stand it if anything else happened to my girl....he says snuggling her.
Sabrina: Well, my love I'm not going anywhere, she says kissing him.
Patrick: I'm glad to hear that he winks...they laugh and make out on the couch. What do you say we move this to the bedroom, he winks picking her up and making love like never before.
Sabrina: Oh, honey?...she says after they finished making love....did I forget to tell you how much I love you?
Patrick: About five minutes ago, he laughs, kissing her....I love you more.
A few months later...
Carlos had settled in Port Charles and moved into the Metro Court. He currently works as a security guard and decided to stay in hopes he could win back Sabrina. He starts to work on his master plan!
Robin comes in to the Metro Court meeting her mother for lunch...
Carlos: Welcome miss...he says opening the door for her.
Robin: Thank you sir...she smiles at him.
Carlos: Please call me Carlos.
Robin: Nice to meet you Carlos...you must be new in town?
Carlos: Fairly...yes...I didn't catch your name.
Robin: Oh, I'm sorry...I'm Dr. Robin Scorpio Drake...she says shaking his hand.
Carlos: I'm sorry...did you say Drake?
Robin: Yes...I did...that was my married name...I have yet to drop the Drake part, she laughs....my ex-husband is currently married to someone else. I'm sorry, I'm probably boring you to tears...I tend to ramble.
Carlos: No, actually, I just stumbled onto some pertinent information, he smiles....please have a seat...he and Robin and get to know each other.
Robin: Well, looks like we have something in common don't we, she winks?
Carlos: That it does...
Robin: Well, I better go, my mom is waiting for me...but here is my number...she says handing him her card...why don't we meet and work on that plan?
Carlos: I'll look forward to calling you...It was very nice to meet you, Dr. Scorpio-Drake, he winks...
Robin: Please...Robin...
Carlos: Very nice to meet you, Robin...
Robin heads off to the restaurant where she is happy to be spending time with her mom.
Anna: There she is!
Robin: Sorry I'm late...I was talking to the security guard.
Anna: The security guard? She asks sipping her wine.
Robin: Yea...anyway, what's new?
Anna: More importantly, what's new with you?
Robin: Nothing....she says sadly...
Anna: Hey, what's wrong?
Robin: I miss my husband and daughter....she says unable to hold back tears any longer...
Anna: Oh baby, she holds her hand....I know...it hurts...
Robin: Stings is more like it...
Anna: I know how much it had to hurt to see Patrick moved on when you finally came home to us after being taken away for more than a year...
Robin: Just a little...she says with her head down...But I shouldn't be all that surprised, I mean, I left him that DVD for a reason...she shakes her head. I guess I just need to learn to move on, but it's hard....especially seeing her with Emma.
Anna: Sabrina?
Robin: Yea...they are so close...and when she calls her mommy, it really burns...
Anna: Oh, honey...Emma does love Sabrina very much, but honey, she's missed you terribly...as we all did...even Patrick.
Robin: I'm sorry, I'm such a mess...I guess holding this in for so long, it just finally erupted.
Anna: It's good to let it out and who better to let it out on than your mom? She says wiping her daughter's tears away.
Anna: Any woman in your situation would feel the same way.
Robin: What would you say if I wanted him back?
Anna: What do you mean?
Robin: I mean, I want my old life back, my husband and my daughter.
Anna: Robin, sweetie...you're not going to try to win Patrick back are you? She asks concerned for her daughter's well being and state of mind.
Robin: Realizing she almost blew her plan, tries to cover up her slip...Oh, no, of course not...she says blowing her nose....That's just me being jealous...I won't ruin their marriage...I see how much he loves her and they have a son together...and, she shrugs her shoulders.
Anna: Good, you scared me for a second...what do you say we order!
Robin: Sounds good, they clink glasses.
