As the sun rises in the Sacred Lands, Nora outcast Rost sets out to perform the ritual that would name the infant entrusted to him. But not all is as it seems, for within the blue light of the machines, a purple essence watches over all.

Rost takes Aloy out in order to train her to survive in the wild, and with the Son of the Goddess, she is well-informed.

After years of training, Aloy is ready to compete in the Nora tribe's Proving ritual. But while in the tribe, she meets a new friend from another tribe.

It's the day of the Proving. All that training Aloy went through will finally pay off. But… something has gone wrong.

Having survived an attack by murderous cultists, Aloy is guided by High Matriarch Teersa to learn of her birth.

Anointed a Seeker of the Nora tribe, Aloy seems to venture outwards in search of answers. However, something sinister seeks to cut her off.

War-Chief Sona has disappeared and fellow Nora Varl has asked Aloy to assist in finding her.

Reunited with Sona and her Braves, Aloy seeks vengeance for those slaughtered in the Proving massacre.

Getting back on track, Aloy meets with Erend in the Carja capitol in search of Olin for answers.
[CH10: Incentive revealed]
Olin is long gone, but perhaps something in his residence in Meridian can point Aloy in the right direction.
[CH11: Corruption overridden]
Closing in on Olin, Aloy employs a new invention to turn the tables on the killers.

Intent on helping Erend get revenge for his sister, Aloy discovers that Ersa may not be dead after all.
