May: You guys, he's waking up!
Red: [Starts coughing, coughs up water]
Green: Good to see you're alright bud.
May: Are you alright? How many fingers?
Red: You've got really little fingers. That's kinda cute.
May: Haha, thanks. But tell me, how many fingers am I holding up?
Red: Three.. Three little fingers.
Brendan: You gave us quit the scare, man! We were on the deck, minding our own buisness, when all of a sudden your friend starts shouting like hell!
Red: What happened?
May: You passed out.
Red: That's it? That happened all the time when I was at the top of Mt. Silver, it's nothing to worry about. I'll survive. I always do.. sadly enough I do
Brendan: Well.. you guys were in the water, so the risk of you drowning was there!
May: Besides, fainting is not a good sign. Do you eat enough?
Green: Barely..
Red: [Looks at Green] What are you talking about? Some friend you are..
May: Did you have breakfast this morning? Or at least drank something with sugar?
Red: No. I never have breakfast. And I drank some water this morning..
Brendan: Man, that ain't healthy.
Red: It's no big deal, people! In the 7 years I lived at Mt. Silver, I barely ate! I ate a handfull of berries, or snow. And I'm still alive, aren't I?
Green: what has happened to you, Red? Where is that kid that I used to play with?
May: Oh, before I forget : I'm May, and this is my neighbour and best friend Brendan. We're from Hoenn.
Green: I'm Green, and that idiot is Red.
Brendan: Red? Aren't you th-
Red: KNOCK IT OFF ALREADY! IM SICK AND TIRED OF EVERYBODY FANGIRLING ME! IF YOU WANT SO SUCK MY DICK, KNEEL BEFORE ME AND ILL TAKE IT OUT!

May: Try to not get upset too much, Red. That could be a reason for your energy running low on a regular base..
Red: .. I'm sorry.
May: About what?
Red: I'm sorry for yelling at you. And your friend.. You meant well.
May: It's alright. I understand. It must be very tiring..
Red: I'm an ass. Might as well deal with it.
May: Eventhough I might not know you that well, I'm sure you're really not a bad guy. But I can tell you're at the end of your rope.
Red: You remind me of my mother, you know?
May: Why's that?
Red: She could instantly make me feel better without putting any effort in it. Thanks May.
May: You are very welcome. Come to say.. but you also remind me of some one.
Red: I do?
May: You remind me of an old friend I used to travel with. Back when I was still a Pokemon Coordinator. His name is Ash.
Red: Ash? Doesn't ring a bell.
May: I didn't expact you to know him. He wasn't really Champion material, but he had a good heart. Sadly enough .. He died a couple of years ago.
Red: Eh? I'm .. I-I'm sorry..
May: Don't be! Haha. He died trying to protect somebody from the attack of Legendary Groundon. He died instantly, but.. At least those people were saved.
Red: He might not have been champion material, but he sure sounds like a true hero.
May: [Nods] He was.

Brendan: Hey Green, you don't look too well..
Green: It's quite a long story that I wouldn't want to bother you with.
Brendan: Look .. You don't know me, and I understand that it might seem weird telling something trustful to a stranger, but... sometimes it's better than talking with a person who you dearly love.
Green: I guess so.. since I can't really talk to the people I love. They are the ones with the issues they need help with..
Brendan: Is it about your friend, Red?
Green: It's always about Red. But Red isn't the problem.
Brendan: Then what is?
Green: The problem is Red's problem.
Brendan: Which is?
Green: Unknown to the human race. I know he has suffered from his expierence with Team Rocket, but other than that.. I have no clue what's been eating him up the last few years. It's as if .. he died and something else took over. I know it sounds weird, but whenever he gets so mad .. That's not my friend, Brandon. I don't know that guy..

May: Would it be rude of me to ask why people fuss over you that much?
Red: I was the first trainer to ever beat a Pok mon League. And.. I guess I took down a criminal organisation that specialized in stealing, selling and experimenting with Pokemon.

Brendan: So he's an impressive trainer.. It happened 7 years ago. Many Pokemon Champions have risen since that moment.
Green: It's not just that. The thing that people seem to find really impresive is the fact that he lived on the top of Mt. Silver. It's the most dangerous place in all of Kanto. Yet he survived 7 years there..

May: It can't be that such a victory is haunting you, can it?
Red: My best friend, and.. only true friend turned into my rival the moment we started our journey as official trainers. He kept calling me a loser, a worthless kid, a bad trainer.. We had our final battle as rivals at the SS Anne..

Green: I guess I pushed him too hard. I was to rough on him, he snapped and put all his anger into his training.. It resulted in his overpowerd Pokemon.. killing my Raticate. I'm sure that he didn't do it on purpose.. He felt guilty immediatly. I never blamed him though .. It was the perfect moment for me to stop our rivalry. I let him walk his way and I went mine..

Red: It was painful to cope with the fact that I'd taken a life of an innocent Pokemon that was merely taking commands from its trainer.. Green changed as well.. It seemed as if he started avoiding me from that moment on..

Green: The moment I became Champion, it took Red only 5 minutes to rip away that title and claim it as his own. People loved him, forgot all about me, but something snapped inside of him.. He died a little the moment he made his dream come true to be the very best.

Red: I had witnessed too much. As a 10 year old I couldn't wrap my head around the emotions I felt. I never spoke a word ever since, and just wanted to disappear. So I fled to Mt. Silver. I was alone on that mountain top. Just me, my Pokemon and Mother Nature.

Green: Nobody ever heard from him since. And then.. 7 years later, he shows up, out of the blue, and returns to Pallet Town. At least he spoke to people, eventhough it isn't really the most bright things he says.. But then again, his social skills were never.. all that great.

Red: I never knew my father. I grew up without him, and I wanted to know if the possibility of my main fear being my own father, could be truth. But my mother refuses to say a word about him. So, In an angry state, I packed my bags and followed Green and Leaf as they were to take this boat to Unova.

Green: He told me little bits concerning his past. But I can't shake off the feeling that he's keeping certain parts from me. And .. it tears me up. I know I screwed up our friendship.. But I never hated him, and neither did he. But it just isn't the same, Red isn't the same..

Red: Haha. Listen to me.. I sound like some troublesome kid in some show..
Green: I guess I can't complain. He's the one that carries the burdens..

Red: Green..
Green: Yeah?
Red: Are you mad?
Green: I'm tired, Red. Dog tired. I have no idea how to help you, and you won't talk to me.. I'm on the verge of giving up on you. I really am. I feel so useless.
Red: ... You can't help me.
Green: .. [clenches his jaws, holding back tears] And now you tell me?
Red: What do you want from me, then?
Green: That's the question I should ask you, honestly.
Red: I need the idea of being needed.
Green: You think I need you?
Red: No, I assume.. or hope.
Green: [wipes aways tears] I'm gonna regret this.. but
I don't need you, Red. Not at all. I've always been on my own, and I managed fine.
Red: .. [Nods]
Green: You hurt me in the past. You hurt me in the present.. And you will hurt me in the near future. It'll never end!
Red: ...
Green: You throw away all your chances on luck. Leaf loves you with all her heart, yet you won't give her a chance because I had a crush on her? Why would you do that? Why would you throw that away? Because I'm too damn shy to tell her myself? No! Fuck that. If you want something, take it! Fuck what people say! You like someone.. TELL THEM! INSTEAD OF LIVING WITH THEM KNOWING THEYLL NEVER KNOW! [sobs, covers eyes with arm]
Red: ...
Green: Here we go again. Whenever you get to face the harsh reality, you go mute. Speak, Red! Please! I beg you! Talk to me! Even if it's to call me names! Speak.. P-p-please, s-speak! [sobs]

Green: .. fine! Fuck you then! I give up! Find someone else who gives a damn. But make sure they posses no heart, like you! So that way you won't mentally fuck them up, like you do to me, your mother, Leaf, heck anybody that loves you! And you know what, Red. I've been keeping this to myself for about 10 years now .. But I've always loved you. Yeah, I'll say it again. I love you! I LOVE YOU AND I WANT TO BE WITH YOU, I WANT TO HELP YOU! But fuck this shit, no. I give up, I'm at the end of my rope. You are gnawing on my rope, Red. My problem .. is your problem. You project your fucking depression on me. I won't accept it anymore. You spent 7 years on a fucking MOUNTAIN, you faced blizzards, heavy rainfall, storms, wild Pok mon, you've had plenty of time to sort things out. Yet you keep dealing with your problems like a 10 year old KID! A FUCKING LOSER YOU ARE!
Red: ... [Punches Green in the face]
Green: ... hurting me mentally isn't enough? You need to hurt me physically too?
Red: You know nothing about me. And as you wish, I'll keep it that way. [Walks away]
Green: I regret this already... Fuck me; i'm an idiot.
