Zoey pulls a book out of Jackie's bag. She holds it up for Jackie to see.

"Should we discuss names before the baby gets here?"

Jackie looks at the clock on the wall, "It will help the time pass, so go ahead, I guess," she agrees.

"I went through and made a list."

"A list of what?"

"Names. Actually it's two lists. One for a boy, and one for a girl, since you won't tell me which it is."

"Maybe I don't know. Maybe I am only pretending to know," Jackie suggests.

"I am certain that you know, and that you have known for quite some time."

"The list Zoey."

"If you don't like any of them, that is fine. I tried to choose names I thought that you would like, not ones that I like."

"Madison is the name of a street, it shouldn't be the name of a child."

Zoey smiles, "Which one should I start with?"

"Just start reading Zoey," Jackie insists.

"I have eight names on each," she adds.

"Eight? Why eight?"

"Because I couldn't come up with ten that I thought you would like," she admits.

"Go ahead."

"Delilah," Zoey begins.

"Delilah? You thought I would like the name Delilah?"

"No I picked that one because I liked it."

"Continue."

"Jocilyn, Isabelle, Olivia, Layla, Ruby, Eve, and Sarah."

"Nope."

"None of them?" Zoey questions.

"No."

"Then I'll move on to the other list."

"Ok."

"Owen, Evan, Matthew, Caleb, Benjamin, Elijah, Carter, and Cruz."

Jackie raises an eyebrow, "Really Zoey? Cruz?"

"There is nothing wrong with that name. Cruz is actually a really cool first name," Zoey explains.

"I suprised Michael, and Miguel weren't on the list."

"They were but I thought that would be pushing it."

"You think?"

"So you don't like any of those names?"

Jackie shrugs, "I won't know until I see the baby."

"The girls didn't have names before they were born?"

"Grace didn't have a name until she was three days old. Fiona was always Fiona, even before we found out we were having a girl."

"Maybe I could come up with something if you would just tell me what it is."

"You only have two lists?"

Zoey smiles, "I have another one, with gender neutral names, if you want."

"It's not as if I am going anywhere, so you might as well."

"Avery, Cameron, Emerson, Maverick, Alex, Quinn, Riley, Sydney, Tanner, Jordan."

"Maverick? What the hell kind of name is Maverick? I am hoping my child isn't an outlaw."

"It is cute."

"Zoey, just out of curiosity, what are you planning on naming your children?"

"You don't like any of those names either?"

"Not particularly. What are you planning on naming your future children?"

"Who says I have names picked out?"

"I know you well enough to know that you have probably had them chosen since you were eleven."

"Ten," she corrects her.

"So what are they, just out of curiosity."

"Maximilian Aiden for a boy, and Aurora Jade for a girl."

"Aiden, really?"

"I know you hate that name, but I really like it."

"You should just give me the book."

"You're probably right though," Zoey admits as she hand's Jackie the book, "it's difficult to choose a name, before you see the baby. What about Ricardo?"

Jackie just rolls her eyes, "Over my dead body."

"Gus?"

"Gus? That sounds like the name of a bus driver. Where did that come from?"

"It just popped into my head. Gus sounds like the name of a guy who is really laid back."

"No."

"Aren't you in pain?"

"Of course," she admits with the name book in one hand, as she grips the rail with the other.

"Then why didn't you get any pain meds?"

Jackie waits for the contraction to be over, before she answers, "It's almost over now."

"Are you nervous?"

"About bringing a human being into the world, and that I am completely unprepared for, mentally, and emotionally?"

"Yeah."

"Since I found out all I could think about was getting this over with."

"And now?"

"And now I'm not so sure. It's much easier to deal with when the baby is inside of you. It doesn't go anywhere while it is inside of you."

"So who is going to watch the baby when you go back to work?"

Jackie shrugs, "I don't know. Maybe I'll just bring the baby to work with me."

"And hide it under the desk?"

"Something like that."

"Or hand it off to Gloria."

"She would lose the baby."

"Coop wouldn't. He loves babies."

"I told him that I would call him when I came in. Will you text him, in about an hour, and a half?"

"Why an hour and a half?"

"Maybe it will be over by then."

"Jackie are you still sure that you want to do this?"

Jackie cocks an eyebrow, "It's a little bit late now, don't you think?"

"That isn't what I meant. This is going to be incredibly difficult. No offense, but..."

"I know how old I am, Zoey. I become more, and more aware of it everyday. I was in line at the store the other day. I was buying baby stuff, and the lady behind me asked me if I was buying stuff for my grandbaby. When I turned around the look on her face was priceless."

"I bet she felt stupid."

"And, another time someone asked me if I was being a surrogate for somebody."

"It isn't too late to decide that you don't want to do this. It certainly wasn't planned, and it has been a rough year. No one would..."

Jackie cuts her off, "I am not perfect. I never would have chosen to have another child, but I am going to do this."

"By the way I texted Cooper like half an hour ago, he should be here any minute."
