Hey baby." Sai said as he tried to kiss Ino.
"Not now Sai. I have to get him to the hospital." Ino said as she tried to pull me past him.
"No, it's fine. I can go by myself." I said as I felt Sai giving me a death glare but I just ignored it.
"Yeah, he can go by himself." Sai implied.
"He needs medical treatment, and it's my job to give it to him." Ino said as she yanked me towards the hospital.
"Then I'm coming too." Sai added as he followed us to the hospital.
"Hey Ino, Rae and Sai." Akira said as we walked through the hospital's doors.
"Hey Akira." Ino smiled.
"Hold on. Rae what are you doing here with Ino and Sai?" Akira gave him a stern look.
"He needs medical treatment." Ino said as she looked at Akira.
"You do look pale. Are you okay?" Akira said as she walked upto me.
Before I could say anything, Akira cut me off once her lips pressed against mine.
"Sai stay down here and keep Akira company until I get back." Ino said as she pulled me away from Akira and led me into the back, to one of the recovery rooms.
Ino pulled me into one of the recovery rooms then grabbed everything that she needed. "Remove your shirt then lay down." She said with an annoyed tone.
"Now, she's mad. How cute." I said to myself as I did as was told then lead back against the bed.
Ino started removing all of the bandages. "How do you know Akira?"
"We meet a month after you left for your training." I said as I relaxed then closed my eyes.
Ino started using her medical jutsu, and hovered her hands over my stomach wound. "Did y'all go on mission's together?"
"A few."
"Do you like her?" Ino asked as she stuck an IV in my arm. Transferring blood into my veins.
"Why are you asking all of these questions?"
Ino ignored my question. "Do you like her?"
"Why?"
"Rae, just answer me. Do you like her?"
I got irrated then snapped back. "Why does it matter. You are getting married."
Ino looked at me. "You kissed her in front of me."
"She kissed me."
"Apparently its not the first time y'all have kissed."
"What makes you think that?"
"The way she kissed you. If it was a first time thing, she wouldn't have kissed you like that." Ino said as she finished bandaging me up.
I just looked at Ino, then turned my head. Once all the blood was now in my body, Ino removed the IV then looked at me.
"Before we leave, can you help Hideo?" I said as I created an sculpter of him then brought him to life.
Hideo whimpered as he laid down.
"That's a deep laceration, Hideo." Ino said as she started to clean his wound.
Hideo whimpered then growled as the alcohol burned his wound.
"Calm down Hideo." I said with a stern tone.
*Sorry Rae.* Hideo said with an apologetic tone.
"Its fine."
Ino stitched up the wound then used her Medical jutsu to stop the pain.
*Hey, it doesn't hurt anymore.* Hideo jumped up excited.
I smiled. "I'm glad you feel better."
Ino rapped a bandage around Hideo then gave him a shot that had pain meds in it.
*Thank you, Ino.* Hideo jumped up then licked her face.
"Hideo said thank you."
"No problem, Hideo."
"Come on. We have to go see the Hokage." I said as I stood up then left out of the room.
Ino and Hideo followed behind me. Once we made our way down stairs we freely walked pass both Sai and Akira, exiting the building. Sai and Akira notice the sad look that Ino had on her face as she walked pass them then noticed a giant Snow Leopard walking behind us.
"Was that a Snow Leopard?" Sai asked Akira in shock.
"I think it was." Akira said also in shock.
We made our way to the Hokage's Tower then went up to Naruto's office. Hinata motioned us to come in.
"Yamanaka, Yokozawa." Naruto looked at us.
"Yes." We said in a union.
He then noticed that something wasn't right.
"Ino, what happened to Rae?"
"He was attacked." Ino said then lifted up my shirt, showing them my stomach injury, then my back injury and lastly my head injury.
"By who?" Naruto said in an angry tone.
"First it was against these two random guys (Tomio and Guro) who made their way into the basement then after that fight he was ambushed and came out unharmed."
"So, what went wrong?" Hinata asked.
"The Terrifying Trio's Daichi and Takeo joined the fight." I smirked.
"Did they jumped you?" Naruto asked out of angry.
"Not really but they got me at the end."
"Explain." Naruto demanded an answer.
"While I fought Daichi, I had Hideo and Isamu fend off Takeo. But I messed up because I didn't know that Daichi and Takeo had Legendary Weapons."
"They have Legendary Weapons?" Naruto asked.
"Yes. Daichi has the Red bladed Guntō and Takeo has the Blue bladed Yari."
Naruto just looked at me. "So the scar on your stomach came from the Guntō and the scar on your back came from the Yari."
"Yes sir." I said in shock.
"Finish your story." Naruto said as his attention was fully on me.
"Daichi broke my weapon while we was fighting so I was defenseless. Out of nowhere, I heard Hideo whimpering in pain and when I looked back he was injured. As Takeo ran at them, I left my fight with Daichi then jumped in front of Isamu and Hideo. His Yari went across my back then he pushed me back and when he did Daichi ran at me from the side and his Guntō went across my abdomen, finishing the fight."
Naruto was mad but soon calmed down. "Well I'm glad that you are still alive."
"I might have lost but the fight was very interesting."
Naruto smirked. "Your one of a kind Yokozawa."
"Ino, may you give us the stats?" Hinata asked in a loud but low tone.
"We infiltrated the Base and this time we got back a little bit of information." Ino explained.
"What kind of information?" Naruto asked.
"Apparently there are more than one of those Base's scattered around the outskirt of certain region's. I have no clue on how many but there are a lot. I also found out that there are 3 main unknown facilities out there somewhere but I don't know if they're near the outskirt or not. Lastly, I found out that one of each member of the trio can be found in one the 3 main facilities." Ino explained.
"Great job you two. I will be sending y'all out again as soon as Yokozawa heal."
"Hokage do you mind if I ask to switch partners?"
Ino looked up at me.
"Why do you want to switch partners?" Naruto asked with a shocked tone.
"I just feel that it will be better if I worked with someone other then Ino."
"I would love to help you out but other than Hyuga Neji, Yamanaka Ino is your permanent partner until this case is over. You two are now dismissed."
As me and Ino was about to walk out, Naruto caught our attention.
"This must be Hideo." Naruto said as he looked at Hideo.
"Yes sir, this is my Snow Leopard Hideo." I said as I rubbed Hideo's head.
"He is so cute." Hinata said as she also rubbed his head.
*Who are they boss? That guy sitting down has strong chakra running through him. He seems extremely tough.* Hideo said as he stared at Naruto.
"Hideo. That is the Hokage. Strongest person in this village."
"Is he founded of me?" Naruto smiled.
"Yes sir. He has taking a liking to you due to your power source."
"Well I'm flattered." Naruto smiled.
"Well we got to get going." I said as I removed Hideo's slip then Ino and I walked out of the Hokage's Tower.
We stopped walking as we made our way to the shopping district. The sun was fully down and the full moon came out and brightened up the dark sky.
"So you was serious about our partnership ending?" Ino asked as we walked towards her flower shop.
"It will be better if we don't communicate a lot."
"Rae, how come you don't understand my feelings for you. I know that i'm engaged but i'm trying so hard to get back on your good side. I have already told you that I don't want you to leave so why are you still trying so hard to get rid of me. You said that you love me but I don't believe that you do."
"I do love you, that's why I want to let you go. I want you to be happy."
"Leaving me won't make me happy."
Before I could say anything Akira ran up to us. "Rae! I've been looking everywhere for you."
"Oh great." Ino said as she turned around.
I looked back at Ino then at Akira.
"Come on Rae." Akira said as she tried to pull me.
"Where are we going." I said as I stayed standing in front of Ino.
"My parents house." Akira smiled at me.
"Why?"
"I told them that you have just got back to Konoha not to long ago and they want to see you. So they cooked you a welcome back dinner." Akira said as she tried to pull me again.
"Let me walk, Ino home then I'll meet you there."
"Um. Okay." Akira faked a smiled then walked off.
Ino turned around then looked at me with a shocked facial expression. "Rae?"
"Hm." I turned around to face her.
As soon as I turned around Ino pressed her lips up against mine. I was shocked at first but couldn't help but to kiss back. Ten minutes passed by and it felt like our lips were never going to separate. Her arms were lock around my neck while my arms was locked around her waist. As we continued kissing under the moon light we heard someone behind us clear their throat. We quickly broke the kiss then turned around.
"Um. Shika." Ino said in shock as she spotted her lazy friend smoking a cigarette. "What are you doing out here so late?"
"I should be asking you the same question." Shikamaru said then gave her a stern look.
"Rae was just walking me home." Ino smiled.
Shikamaru looked up at me then I rubbed the back of my head.
"Hey Shikamaru." I said in a laid back tone.
"Hey Rae. May I speak with Ino real quick?"
"Sure." I said then stepped to the side.
"What are you doing Ino? You are engaged to Sai."
"I know but..." Ino was cut off before she could finish her sentence.
"You don't have to explain your business to me. I'm not going to judge you or tell you what you can and can't do, just be careful about the decisions you make."
Ino hugged Shikamaru. "Thank you Shika."
"No problem Ino, but listen up. If either Rae or Sai hurt you. I will kill them." Shikamura kissed Ino's cheek then walked off.
"Where are you going, Shika." Ino yelled out as Shikamaru continued to walked off.
"I got to go meet Temari."
"Awe. You two make such a cute couple." Ino squealed.
"Every time you see me you say that." Shikamaur snickered before he was no longer in sight.
"Are you ready for me to walk you home yet?"
Ino turned around then looked at me. "No, not really but I guess I have no choice." Ino said as we started back walking towards her flower shop.
"Goodnight Ino." I said as we stood in front of her flower shop.
"Goodnight Rae." Ino said as she pulled me into a quick embrace.
Once Ino walked inside, I walked off then went towards Akira's parent's house.
"Where have you been?" Sai asked as he came down stairs and spotted Ino locking up the shop for the night.
"After we left the hospital we went to go see the Hokage. Once night time came around he dismissed us. On my way here I ran into Shikamaru, so I stopped to talk to him. When the conversation was over he left then I came home." Ino said to Sai as she walked past him.
"Ino I have two questions. 1, Why didn't you kiss me back there near Konoha's entrance and 2, why did you have a sad look on your face when you left the hospital?" Sai asked as he followed Ino upstairs.
"1, I told you that I was in a rush. Rae need medical attention. His life is more important than a kiss and 2, I wasn't sad. I was mad."
"Why?"
"Rae can be very ignorant at times."
Sai just looked at her. "Do y'all have any more missions together?"
"Yes, the Hokage is going to send us out as soon as, Rae heal."
"Why can't I just be your partner, why does he get to go on multiple missions with you?" Sai said as he started to get jealous.
"Ask the Hokage. He put everything together." Ino said as she went into her bathroom to take a hot shower.
-knock knock knock-
"Finally your here." Mrs. Toshina said as she opened the door.
"What took you so long?" Mr. Toshina asked.
I was about to say something but Mrs. Toshina cut me off. "We can talk over dinner. The food is getting cold."
With that I went inside then followed them to the kitchen.
"Akira is upstairs. She will be down shortly." Mrs. Toshina said as we all sat down at the table.
"Mom, is Rae here yet?" I heard Akira ask as she came downstairs.
"Yes sweetie." Mrs. Toshina smiled.
Akira sat down beside me then scooted her chair closer to mine.
"They are so cute together, Akeno." Mrs. Toshina said to Mr. Toshina.
"Yes Akiko. They would make a cute couple." Mr. Toshina smiled.
Akira sniffed the air. "Why do I smell flowers?"
"Did you bring flowers with you Rae." Akiko asked me.
"Um. No ma'am." I said with a calm tone.
(It smells like the perfume Ino bought at the Perfume Department. Hm, I guess it smelled so good that the scent stayed in my nose.) Akira said as they passed out the food.
As I watched everyone eat and laugh I thought back to mine and Ino's kiss. It was passionate, long and, the kiss made butterflies go through my stomach. The image kept running through my head.
"I'll be back." I said as I got up from the table then left out of the door.
I made my way to Ino's flower shop then stopped in front of the door. I looked up and noticed that Ino's window was opened.
"She might be awake." I said to myself as I jumped up onto her window seal then peaked through from the corner of the window.
I was shocked to see that Ino was busy for the night and all of her time was being occupied. I jumped down then walled off. "For someone she didn't care about not to long ago... You know what. Never mind. I'm done. He can have her." I said to no one in particular.
"Why does it feel like Rae is close to me?" Ino said to herself as she looked towards the window.
"Is something wrong?" Sai asked as he looked down at Ino.
"Yea. Can we stop real quick?" Ino ask Sai who was hovering over her body.
"Okay." Sai said as he rolled off of Ino.
Ino got up then threw on her purple bathrobe. She walked down stairs, unlocked the door to the flower shop then peaked outside. Ino spotted a cat that was at least 10 yards away from the shop.
"Hm. If Rae had walked by the cat would have seen him." Ino said to herself as she looked at the cat.
"Mind Transfer jutsu." Ino said as she did her signature move then entered the cat.
As Ino went through the cats mind she found a memory of a guy with black hair that had a green tint to it. Ino transfered back to her body, locked the door then sat down at the counter. "Rae seen me having sex with Sai." Ino took a deep breath then laid her head down on the counter.
I walked through the streets of Konoha. I went where ever my legs took me. "I knew I should have let her go. I should have listened to Saburo." I yelled to myself out of anger. I created an ice sculpture of Yori then brought him to life.
*Master. Why every time you get sad, I also get sad?* Yori asked as he walked beside me.
"Because you are a part of me. You are like my alter ego. So the emotions I feel, you also feel."
*Does that go for the others as well?*
"No. Just you Yori." I said as I patted his head.
*Well cheer up boss. Let's be happy together.*
"It's easier said than done Yori."
"Come on boss. Summon Saburo and the other."
I looked down at Yori then created a sculpture of Isamu, Hideo, Michi, Saburo and Jiro then brought them to life.
*Come on guys. Lets do a cheer up training session.* Yori roared out.
Saburo and the others roared out in reply. I looked at them then seen their determination.
"Fine. Lets have one hell of a training session."
With that said we all took off running towards the training grounds. When we got there I was surprised when I spotted Neji training.
"What do you want?" Neji said without looking back at me.
"I came here to train. I didn't know that you was going to be here." I said as I motioned Michi, Jiro, and Isamu to get in place.
Michi, Jiro, and Isamu did as was told then went on the left side of Neji.
"Hm."
"Hey Hyuga. Train with me." I said as I motioned Yori and Saburo to get in place.
Yori and Saburo did as was told then went on the right side of Neji.
"Sorry, but I pass on your offer."
"Now. Team 2, attack." Michi, Jiro and Isamu ran at Neji going full speed.
*What about me Rae?* Hideo asked out of concern.
"Sit this one out Hideo. You haven't fully healed yet."
Neji smirked then started spinning. "Eight Trigrams Palms Revolving Heaven."
Michi, Jiro and Isamu went flying back as they got hit.
"Team 1, special attack." I yelled out.
Yori ran into the woods then hid his chakra. Saburo ran up a tree then started jump from tree to tree.
"Now Team 2, Its your turn for a special attack." I yelled out.
*We hear you loud and clear boss.* Michi said as he ran around Neji in a giant circle, picking up speed as he ran.
Isamu crouched down on the left side of Neji getting ready to attack, and Jiro crouched down on the right side of Neji getting ready to attack.
Neji stopped practicing with the practice dummy the turned around and looked at me. "Come on." Neji said then motioned me to start my attack.
(And to think the prodigy trained alone.) I said to myself then smirked. "Team 2, now."
Jiro jumped at Neji but Neji spent around him knocking him down. As soon as Jiro hit the ground I ran at Neji then jumped in the air, sending a kick towards him. Neji spent around my kick but as he came back around to hit me, I ducked under his arm then threw my right leg up. Neji blocked the attack then I jumped back. Isamu ran and clawed at Neji once I jumped back. Neji instantly moved then hit Isamu with the Gentle Fist. Isamu fell to the ground whimpering.
*I can't move.* Isamu cried out.
I ran at Neji then jumped up in the air. When I came down I threw a punch but he dodged it by hitting a back flip. I landed on my right leg then spent around throwing my left leg.
"Now Michi." I yelled.
Michi stopped running in a circle then ran straight at Neji. Neji pushed me back then jumped back. As soon as Neji landed Michi was still running at him.
"Damnit." Neji said as he jumped back again.
"Saburo." I yelled out as Neji jumped in the air again.
Saburo jumped out then clawed Neji on his back, knocking him onto the ground. Neji quickly got up as he seen Michi running at him.
"So one of them is in the trees." Neji said to himself as he thought of a plan.
Neji jumped into the air again. I gave Saburo a sign then he jumped at Neji again. As Saburo closed in on Neji, Neji dodged Saburo's attack causing Saburo and Michi to clash, knocking them both out in the process.
*I'm not out yet Rae.* Jiro said as he ran up beside me.
"Come on, lets take this into the woods." I said as I ran into the woods.
"Your not going to get away that easily." Neji said as he ran behind me.
"Jiro. Air Borne Attack." I said as I jumped from tree to tree.
*Yes sir.* Jiro said as he climbed up the trees.
I stopped running then jumped down in front of Neji.
"Come on." I motioned Neji to come fight.
Neji ran at me then threw a punch. I moved behind a tree then the tree fell once Neji hit it.
"Not bad." I said as I dodged another one of Neji's attacks.
Jiro jumped in the air then dive towards Neji wile I ran at him going for an attack.
"Eight Trigrams Palms Revolving Heaven." Neji said as he spent around.
The attack blew us both back. I looked over at Jiro and he was knocked out. I stood up then noticed that my arm was bleeding. Neji came running at me again then sent multiple strong and fast attacks my way. It was hard to block them all. I blocked at least 25 out of the 50 attacks he sent at me.
"Eight Trigrams Sixty-Four Palms."
"Damnit. I need to move." I said to myself as I tried to move but he caught me.
"2 palms, 4 palms, 16 palms, 32 palms, 64 palms." Neji said as the final hit blew me back.
"Ahh!" I yelled out as I flew back and went through six trees back to back.
After I went through the sixth tree, I laid there unable to move. "Damnit. I can't move."
Neji walked up to me. "Its over." Neji said as he was about to land a knock out blow.
Just as Neji was about to strike. I sensed Yori coming out of the woods.
"Ahh!" Neji yelled out as Yori bit down on his left shoulder, knocking him down in the process. "He cut off my chakra flow." Neji said as he stood back up.
Yori growled at him then ran at him again. Yori jumped at Neji but disappeared as he got close to him. Out of nowhere, Yori reappeared behind Neji then bit down on his right shoulder, knocking him down again.
"Y-Yori." I said with a low tone.
Yori ran up to me.
"Make sure he can't move until his chakra waves fix back, and by then, I should also be able to move again."
*Yes sir.* Yori said as he ran at Neji again.
Yori canceled the chakra waves in both of Neji's legs and he was also unable to move, but as Yori was going to bite Neji's last chakra wave. Neji used the last bit of chakra he had left and hit Yori in nose with the Gentle Fist, knocking him out.
"Not bad, for a 1 on 7 battle." Neji said as he was unable to move.
"Hey you have the B-byakugan. You could basically see right through me." I said while all out of breath.
"You should be lucky that I have the Byakugan."
"And why is that?"
"Because I avoided everyone of your wounds."
"Hahaha. I forgot that I had those."
"You know that we are going to be here in this same spot for 2 days." Neji said as he deactivated his Byakugan.
"Well then. I guess we got 2 days to bound." I said then smirked.
Neji smirked. "Hm. I going to get up 5 hours before you will."
"What?"
"Yori hit all but one of my chakra waves, while all of yours got hit."
"Hn. Hideo!"
Hideo jumped out of the tree he was sitting in.
*Yes boss.*
"Watch over us until this 2 day wait is over with." I said as I slowly lost consciousness.
*Yes sir.* Hideo said as he got on guard.
Hideo looked over at Neji and also noticed that he has lost consciousness.
