CHAPTER 14
As I watch the sunset in the beach, it seems like it is forever, it seems like I am going to be alone forever, it seems like it is saying goodbye to me forever. Tears slowly fall down from my cheeks. I have been crying these past few days. I know I may not be happy. I am going to marry a person whom I don't know but I know he will be a good one because my grandfather chose him. I may be sad for eternity. Is this my punishment? Tears just keep on falling until my phone rang.
RING...RING...RING...RING...
"ONEE!" Sui on the other line shouted.
"Oh! Sui-kun!" I said.
"Are you alright now?" he said in his concern voice.
"Hai!"
"You sure? OH! By the way onee I want to see you right now because I want to discuss to you some of the details that you wanted for the small get together. Are you free now?"
"Right now?"
"YES!"
"Sure!"
"GREAT! I am waiting you in the mansion."
"Wait me there ok?"
"YES!"
"Bye!"
"Bye!" after saying their goodbyes, Hikari ended the phone call and then walked towards her car. For one last time, she turned her back to watch the sunset.
"Can I meet you again?" She thought then entered her car. When she was inside, she notice a young man standing in the seashore looking at the beach, she took her camera and took a picture with it.
AFTER A FEW MINUTES...
"Welcome back young lady." Miyu said.
"Thank you, where's Sui?"
"He is at the living room young lady. He is having his late afternoon tea."
"I see. Thank you for that."
"It is all right young lady." Miyu said while bowing to Hikari.
Hikari walked to the living room where Sui is found. After that, when she entered, a sleeping Takeshima was in the couch.
"You really look like your brother Sui." Hikari sai while caressing his hair inoder for him to wake up and it did happen.
"Are you ok Sui? You look tired." Hikari said.
"No, I am not onee, it is because onii-san was given a month long vacation by grandfather as his birthday gift and because of that my work doubles, no, TRIPLES!" He said but with a smile on his face.
"I could not believe this young boy." Hikari thought but only smiles. "It is ok; I know you could do it." Hikari say while walking to the other couch to take her seat.
Sui also took his seat because he was lying in the couch.
"So, what is it?" Hikari asked.
"As you heard a while ago, onii-san is having his vacation, that is why it is just right for us to have some get together while he is still on his leave right?"
"You have a point." Hikari agreed.
"So, here it goes. Since onii-san's birthday is on November 22, I have prepared something for it, a small gift and a get together perhaps, but only for you two so that you are going to have a talk after all those years that you have not seen each other. Since today is November 05, we still have a maximum of three weeks to prepare." Sui explained.
Hikari was a bit shocked because she thought that it would be a get together for the seven of them, but she is not right. It is a day for them. She was a bit happy but also a bit scared of what will happen. They continued to talk and talk until she agreed.
"That's great onee-san! I know you will going to have a great time there! Don't worry! He will not know anything!" Sui said.
"I will anticipate that Sui."
They still talk for some time when Miyuki entered the room.
"AYIIE!" Miyuki shouted.
The two automatically faced the shouting girl while running towards Hikari.
"Ayie! Ayie! I have met someone today! He is also a wrestling enthusiast! He told me stories about this young girl who also loves wrestling like us ayie and he says that she is always asking for a match with him. It is very happy ayie because he told me many stories!" Miyuki said while sitting beside Hikari.
She was shocked by what she heard. She know that she is the girl but she can't be so sure until Miyuki continued her story.
"Do you know ayie, the girl and you have the same name, is that a coincidence?" Miyuki asked her.
By what she heard her heart began to thump and then she faced Sui who is also stunned by what he heard. She did not know what to do. She is also asking herself how Kei found Miyuki, until she remembered something.
"Miyuki, where did you go today?"
"I am with grandfather today Ayie and we went to an office but not your office and he met someone. A very handsome man Ayie!" Miyuki said.
"Do you know who he was?" Hikari asked as if she was interrogating a suspect.
"He was k – k – k -... It is a vitamin I knew it! Hmmm! AH! VITAMIN K! IT IS KEI Ayie! Kei is the name of the man!"
Stunned and petrified. Hikari could not utter a thing. Her tears just keep on falling down for unknown reason. Miyuki felt tears on her cheeks so she looked at Hikari only to find out that her Ayie is crying.
"Ayie, why are you crying? Did somebody hurt you?" Miyuki said while starting to cry.
Hikari then stopped Miyuki from crying, "I am not crying baby. Something just went to Ayie's eyes. It is nothing to worry about." Hikari said while drying up her face and Miyuki's.
She put Miyuki in her lap to let her sleep because it is Miyuki's habit. After crying she will immediately fall asleep. She thinks of many things while tucking Miyuki on her sleep. She did not know that Sui is still there so she is very shocked when Sui started to talk.
"So are you going to continue our plan?" Sui asked.
"I think I will not. It seems hard, but don't you worry. I will make a way. Is that ok Sui?" Hikari said with a sad smile.
Sui stood up and went to Hikari to give her a hug. "Don't force yourself onee. I know one day, you are going to see each other and talk over things. So don't cry ok?" Sui said.
"Yes! I won't cry until then. Thank you very much Sui. You do give me many opportunities but I just turned them all down."
"It is ok onee" Sui said. After that, he says his goodbye to Hikari because he is now going home. He did not if he is doing the right thing but he knows that one day and a day will came just for them if they are really for each other.
For the last, he turned to the mansion and said, "You will see him on the most memorable day of your life." He smiled and rode his car.
HIKARI'S POV
After that, I gave Miyuki to her nanny and I went upstairs to change into my night gown in preparation for my sleep but I could not sleep. Many things are in my mind right now. Could I see him? Will he accept me? Am I ready?
URG! I am complicated! I don't know what to do! Kei! What can I do?
KEI'S POV
This day is a very hard day. I have found a girl crying because she lost her grandfather. The girl looks like Hikari. She is very cute while crying. So I keep her company. I have also known that she is a wrestling enthusiast so I could not restrain myself from telling her stories about Hikari. I keep on talking and talking until I said that the name of the young girl I keep on talking about is Hikari.
The only thing is Miyuki also said that her Ayie is named Hikari. I did not know if it is just a coincidence or what but I feel that this 'Ayie' is Hikari, the Hikari I have known a long time ago. I am going to ask her about this HIKARI but her nanny arrived getting Miyuki because her grandfather is now worried sick. I just watched Miyuki walk away. I don't know but I think that she can link me with Hikari.
NORMAL POV
Two days before November 22...
Megumi and Akira are having a girl's day out. In other words, they are going to the mall so that they could unwind and have sometime to themselves. They went from store to store. Choose dresses, shoes, accessories and cosmetics for them. They look happy but there is someone still lacking and that is Hikari.
"Ne Akira – chan, have Hikari contacted you lately?" Megumi asked.
"Huh? Hikari?" Akira said who is busy choosing from the dresses.
"Yes."
"I did not. She did not call nor text me which makes me worried now but I don't have any right to." By this, it makes Akira stop from choosing and sat down. "I really miss her."
"Yeah me too. Today is November 20 right?"
"Yes, and it is just two days before Kei's birthday. Also I did not hear anything from him since the day we talk."
Silence continue on until a young lady passed the store they are in. She is very beautiful, elegant and athletic even though you could not tell because she is wearing a dress. Automatically Akira and Megumi recognize her.
"HIKARI!" Akira and Megumi said in unison.
They ran outside the store and followed Hikari but to their dismay, they did not catch up to her.
"That is really Hikari right?" Megumi said catching her breath.
"Yes that is her."
"She is really a beauty right?"
"Yes."
"Let us go back?"
"Sure."
They turned their back only to find out a lady standing in their back with a smile on her face.
"Hi!"
They could not contain their happiness. Akira and Megumi ran towards Hikari and hugged her.
"WE MISS YOU!" The two ladies said in unison.
"Yeah, I know and I miss you too. Sorry for not contacting you." Hikari said.
"No, it is ok, I know you have many things to do. It is just ok." Megumi said.
"Where have you been?" Akira asked.
"Long story. By the way, why are you here?"
"Shopping?" Megumi said.
"Of course" Hikari said giggling, "but where are the things you bought?"
"Huh?" the two said.
"OH MY! We have left it Akira!" Megumi said.
"Don't worry; I will just call Tadashi to pick it up, no worries at all." Akira said. "So who is up for some tea?"
"Me!" Megumi said
"Seems that I don't have any things to do, so why not?"
The three ladies went to a cafe and talk there. They talk as if there is no tomorrow not until Hikari asked something that makes the two ladies look at each other and smile.
"Can I ask a favour?" Hikari said.
