"BREAKING NEWS: Hikari Hanazono is going to be engage today, but who would be this lucky man." The news anchor announced as Akira together with Tadashi opened the television early that morning.

"Is it today?" Tadashi asked.

"Yes, and I hope they will be together forever. Right Tadashi?" Akira asked.

"Yes."

Last night Yahiro told them about the bracelet which was technically an heirloom of their family. Upon hearing what Yahiro wants to tell them they all beamed with happiness towards the two.

FLASHBACK…

"It goes like this. Our grandmother adores this bracelet of hers and it symbolizes her love to our family. She gives it to her only daughter as an heirloom it is because grandfather will just give aunt Mayu little of the company. Mind you, that little is worth millions of dollars and one company basing in Korea. Many speculations that aunt Mayu returned the bracelet to grandfather so that the later will give the bracelet to the first lady of the Takeshima manor in our, the grandchildren's, time. So from what I am seeing, Hikari is wearing it and Kei is engaged by an unknown person, I have got into a conclusion that they are engaged with each other." Yahiro said happily.

"But is that tr-" Megumi was stopped by Akira.

"We can't assure it yet Yahiro but we do want what is the best for them." Akira said.

"So, the only thing we could do for the both of them is to hope and pray to God." Flynn said.

"Yes. That is it."

END OF FLASHBACK…

The couple finished their breakfast and do their daily routine. Tadashi going to Hakakusenkan Academy to work as the President and Akira to her Airline company; the day seems to be a normal day to other people but not to Hikari and Kei who is about to know who their fiancés are.

HIKARI'S POV

"Today is the day. I hope everything will be alright" Hikari told herself as she waits in the vacant room in the hall for her engagement party. This is not an ordinary engagement party because it was held not in the evening but during lunch at one of their hotels basing in Japan.

Hikari remembers what happen this morning to her and Kei. They promised each other to be together to infinity but she could not do anything to alter what is happening today. If only she knew who she would be engaged to. If only.

"Hikari-sama you are now going to enter." One of the staff said after she knocked the door.

"Ok! I am coming." Hikari said.

She stood up and takes a last look at herself. She is wearing a vintage cocktail dress that matches well with the bracelet she have. She slowly walks to the hall.

"Hikari-sama, after what your grandfather's talk, you will be called and that is your cue." The staff said.

"Yes."

"Everyone, I am pleased to introduce Hikari Hanazono, future, Hikari Hanazono – AYUZAWA." Her grandfather said which makes Hikari stop for a moment to contemplate.

"Ayuzawa? Ayuzawa… Ayuzawa… I think I have heard that family name, but I am not sure where." She said to herself. She was just snapped back to reality when the staff shakes her a little.

"Are you ok miss?"

"Y – Yes I am thank you." Hikari said and then walked to the door to go to her grandfather.

She bowed her head to her grandfather as a sign of respect and then stands beside him.

"Today marks an important celebration as Hikari will be engaged to one of the eligible bachelors of town. Everyone please welcome, Doctor Natsume Ayuzawa."

That concluded it. Natsume Ayuzawa, a general surgeon. "But why?" Hikari thought to her mind. She looks at the man walking towards her grandfather in black tuxedo looking as regal as ever.

"Milady." Natsume bowed down to her.

Hikari just curtsied and smiled to the doctor. She knows him for a while now but she did not know that he will be her fiancé.

The party continues which makes Hikari's head ache. She felt dizzy and almost fell but luckily Natsume catches her.

"Look out there Hikari." Natsume said.

"Yes, yes, doctor I will." Hikari smiled at the doctor. "But you do have a lot of explanations to do here don't you think."

"I think I have but first, let us get out of this party. This tuxedo sucks! I want to wear my normal jeans and coat." Natsume smiled.

"So just you Natsume. So just you." Hikari said.

"Let us go?'

"But grandafa-"

"You could go child." They were surprised by what her grandfather said. "Take good care of yourself."

"Yes and thank you grandfather."

So they left the hall but Hikari get a glimpse of a pair of brown eyes looking at her. She knew he owns it but she does not have the courage to open her eyes anymore and loose her strength that is why Natsume carried her to one of the suits she owned in her hotel.

THIRD PERSON'S POV

"How is she?" Hikari's grandfather asks Natsume who was now taking care of Hikari.

"I think she was stressed these past few days. Does she drink her medicines on the right time sir?" Natsume asks.

"Her secretary told me that she is taking her meds daily. Why is everything alright?"

"I think we should cancel of the engagement sir."

"Why?"

"I think she does not have a-"

"No. Don't say it. Please. I – I am just reunited with them. Please please." Hikari's grandfather is close to breakdown.

"But the engagement – "

"I know that Kei is your cousin but please don't leave Hikari's side just now."

"I understand sir but please do consider Hikari's feelings sir."

"Time will come." Hikari's grandfather said.

KEI'S POV

"I don't know that she was the one grandfather is talking about that Natsume is going to marry." He says to himself.

Kei saw everything in Hikari's engagement. He wants to carry Hikari in his arms. He wants to take care of her. He wants everything of her. Even though it is a very selfish thing to ask but he do really want to be beside Hikari as much as possible.

The party ended without the guests of honor and Chairman Hanazono himself because of some emergencies according to Satoshi, Hikari's older brother. Kei was about to exit the hotel when someone tug her tuxedo. He stops and looks at the person who does it. To his surprise, it was Miyuki. She is crying because of the tears falling from her eyes. He kneels to be at eye level with Miyuki.

"Why are you crying?" Kei asked as he dried Miyuki's tears.

"Ayie… Ayie…" she said sobbing.

"What is wrong with your ayie?"

"She is… She is… She is sleep. Doctor Natsume said that she is sleeping. I don't want ayie sleeping." She said as she began to cry again.

"I don't want ayie to go… I DON'T WANT!" She began to shout.

Kei feels that something is going on but he did not know what to do. He carries Miyuki and caresses her back so that she will stop somehow. To his surprise, she did stop but on the contrary she began to become heavy. One of the lady guests pass by.

"Is she yours young man?" the lady said.

"Huh?" Kei said and then looked at Miyuki, "If she would be mine I would not let her roam around without anyone with her." He smiled at the lady, "She is not mine ma'am."

"I see. You are now ready to build your own family young man." She said smiling. "By the way, you two look very father and daughter if no one would know the truth. Just like the lady she is with this past few days." She said. "So I am now going. Nice talking to you mister?"

"Kei. Kei Takeshima madamme."

"Mr. Takeshima." The lady said as she walks slowly with her husband in her side.

"It would be nice if I could make a family with you Hikari. Do I have a chance?" Kei thought to himself.

He was thinking about many negative things then he remembered what Hikari said last night, "Wait for me okay?" by that he was once again positive that Hikari will be back to himself.

"Miyuki? Miyuki!" A baby sitter was finding Miyuki. "Oh! If Master Satoshi will find that Miyuki is not around. OH! What am I going to do!?" She told herself.

Upon hearing it, Kei slowly went to the baby sitter. "Are you Miyuki's baby sitter?"

The baby sitter was surprised. "Yes sir."

"Here she is. Take her to one of the rooms here and take care of her." Kei said as he hand over Miyuki to her baby sitter but as he was letting go of her and do his stuff, he was still stopped by Miyuki's hands on his tuxedo. Slowly get loose of the tug and then waved goodbye to the baby sitter and then do his stuff.

THIRD PERSON'S POV

Kei's engagement is private because of his fiancé to be being so private.

"I would like to introduce myself. I am Miku Kouno. Nice meeting you Kei-san." Miku said as she bows for respect to Kei and his grandfather.

By the looks of Miku, she was a very refine lady and no one could ever decline her to be his wife but it was the other way round for Kei's case. He doesn't want anyone beside Hikari to himself.

"Kei treat her well." Kei's grandfather said.

"Yes." The only thing he could say.

Miku's grandfather and Kei's talk about business and they talk for themselves.

"Uhm… Kei-san… I know you don't want this engagement." Miku said that makes Kei surprised.

"What do make you think about that?" Kei asked.

"Because I don't want to be engaged too." Miku said.

"What?"

"I don't really plan on getting married beside I have someone on my heart but he is now engage." You could see the sadness in her eyes as she said it.

"Why did you agree with this plan?"

"It is just to merge our companies."

"What is with merging?"

"Your company will help our company not to go bankrupt."

"You are on the red line already?"

"Yes, that is why my grandfather decided to let me engage with you." She said.

It seems that a very big thorn was out in Kei's heart right now. So he formulated a plan that instant. After a few minutes he talked.

"I don't have the power over my grandfather but could you oppose your grandfather?" he asked.

"I think I can but how about ou-" she was cut by Kei.

"I could give a hand to your company." He said.

"You will?" Miku said with her eyes gleaming. "Really?'

"Yes, but can you oversee your company?"

"Many keep on telling me to take over our company and I think this is now the right time. I don't have parents because of an accident and lolo is the only family I have. I want him to be happy and contented." She said while tears are falling down one by one.

"With that, do we have a deal Ms. Kouno?"

"Yes."

After that, they talk a little more and laugh a little bit and then talks about their love ones.

"Do you know Kei-san that one of your cousins is the one I love?"

"My cousins?"

"Yes." She said as her eyes where gleaming, "We met at the Tokyo University although we have different departments we do meet a lot. I am in the business department and he is in the medical department.. We became a couple a month before his graduation. I am, at that time, a graduate student myself and was studying my company who is at that time near the red line. We are so happy. He talks very happy. He became a famous general surgeon this area." She said with smile and proud face towards his boyfriend. "But he is now engage."

"Is it Natsume?" Kei said without even thinking twice.

She was taken aback by that. She just smiled sadly and said, "Yes."

"I see. We have exchanged partners I think." Kei said as he looked at the stars.

"Exchanged partners?" Miku said.

"His fiancé was Hikari Hanazono, my girl." Kei said.

"Hikari? Hanazono?" Miku said as if she was questioning.

"Yes. She is as beautiful as every jewel and as precious as every treasure a pirate can find."

"Are you sure it was Hikari Hanazono?" Miku said as if she was confirming her intuition.

"Yes. Why?" Kei said atlast looking at Miku who was now crying that makes him a little awkward towards her. "Is there a problem? Why are you crying?"

"N – nothing." Miku said as she brushed her tears away. "I am just relieved that is all." She said smiling and laughing slowly.

"Relieved?"

"Yes."

"Why?"

"They are not really an intimate relationship between the two and I think Natsume doesn't want this set up as well as Hikari-chan."

"Why?"

"Because Natsume is Hikari-chan's doctor."
