A/N: Hey guys! Okay, first off, sorry but I have to get this off my chest. A Guest left a review on my Divergent High School story and said "you completely copied another fic." Well, it kind of made me mad because I did not copy another person's story. I tried to make my story as original as possible and I think I did a pretty decent job. Okay anyway, thank you guys for all the reviews for this story! I'm sorry for not updating for like a week and a half, I was super busy trying to catch up in school! I tried to update yesterday but then me, being the clumsy person I am, fell off my porch and broke my ankle. Also, the idea for this chapter is thanks to messirox123 (a guest). I liked her (I think it's a her) idea and I just wanted to make sure she got credit! Anyway, I love y'all and enjoy this chapter! Leave some reviews please!(:
Tobias' POV
A couple days later, the guys are I sit in the kitchen at the table. All the girls decided to go tan next to the lake but the guys and I didn't feel like joining them. Nothing has really changed since I told everyone my life story. They still treat me the same, like I didn't suffer through the first 16 years or so of my life, for which I'm extremely thankful. I don't think I could handle it if they treated me and looked at me like I was a kicked puppy.
"Don't you agree, Four?" Zeke asks, bringing me out of my reverie.
"What?" I ask, my head snapping up in his direction.
"Did you zone out? I asked if you agreed that Uriah is a moron," Zeke supplies.
"Don't answer that!" Uriah shouts.
I grin, "Well yes, Uriah is a moron, but why is he a moron now?"
"He thinks it would be a great idea to pour buckets of water on our girlfriends right now," Will explains.
I jerk my head to stare at Uriah in disbelief, "Do you have a death wish? How have you not learned your lesson by now?"
"Guys, calm down, I was kidding. I'm not really in the mood for a repeat of last time. But I do have a serious suggestion of you guys want to hear it," Uriah says.
"And what is that serious suggestion?" I ask.
He looks around the table at all of us. Then, he gets up and looks out the window. When he sits back down, Will asks, "What was all that for?"
"I was making sure the girls are still outside. They can't hear this."
"Why not?" Zeke asks suspiciously.
"Because it's about them, duh. Okay, anyway, back to what the suggestion was. I know we're all too young to get married anytime soon but I know that I want to spend the rest of my life with Marlene and I'm assuming you guys feel the same way about your girlfriends?" Uriah says. We all nod and he continues, "Okay, well since we're too young to get married, I was thinking maybe we should get the next best thing."
"And what's that?" I ask.
"I say we all get our girlfriends promise rings," Uriah explains. Then, he leans back in his chair and interlocks his hands behind his head while he waits for our reaction.
It's silent for about a solid minute before anyone speaks. I'm the first one to regain my bearings. "That's actually a really good idea," I say in disbelief.
"Yeah, who knew Uri could be romantic and smart like that," Will says.
"Compliment taken, insult ignored," Uriah states and I laugh.
"When and how are we going to give the rings to them?" Zeke asks.
"I was thinking tomorrow, actually. And as for how, well, we have good memories with the karaoke machine. I was thinking that we could make them dinner and then take them to the living room, sing a song to make them laugh yet mean something like One Direction or something, I don't know. Then, after that, we could take them out by the lake and give it to them," Uriah says.
"Dang Uri, I didn't know you were such a hopeless romantic," Will says, laughing.
"Well, I'm all for it," Zeke says.
"Well, when are we going to get them?" I ask.
"How about right now? It's not like we're doing anything productive right now anyways," Uriah inputs. I shrug.
"Hey Four, you should convince Tris to let us borrow her Ferrari," Zeke suggests.
"Why? We have your car," I respond.
"Yeah, but Tris' car is cooler," Zeke says like it's the most obvious thing in the world.
I sigh, "Okay, I'll ask." I get up from the table and walk into the bedroom to grab my wallet. Then, I walk outside to the lake, where I see Tris, Marlene, Shauna, and Christina lounging. I walk behind Tris' chair and stand so I'm blocking the sun. She opens her eyes and looks up at me. When she notices who it is, she smiles. "Hey, what's up?" She asks.
"Can Zeke, Uriah, Will, and I borrow your Ferrari?" I ask nicely.
"Hmm. Why would you like to borrow my baby?" She inquires.
Well, we're going somewhere and Zeke said your car is cooler so he asked me to ask you if we could borrow it," I explain.
She smirks, "Okay, you can borrow it if you tell me where you're going."
I shake my head, "No can do, Trissy. It's a surprise, if you knew, it would ruin the entire thing."
She seems to think it over for a minute. "Okay, fine. It better not be a prank or I'll kill you. You're the only one allowed to drive because I trust you. Don't hurt my car or I'll hurt you," She says, threateningly.
"Thanks, Trissy. I'll keep your car safe." I lean down and kiss her on the cheek. Then, I walk back inside and grab the keys. Will, Zeke, Uriah, and I walk outside and to Tris' car. Before, I get in the driver's seat, I hear her shout, "It better be a good surprise, Four!"
I smile and shout back, "Oh, all of you will love it!" When I say that, Marlene, Christina, and Shauna turn to look at me.
"Wait, this involves all of us?" Shauna asks.
"It sure does!" Zeke shouts at them.
"What's the surprise?" Christina screams at us. I laugh and we all get in the car without answering her.
Tris' POV
We all just lay there, staring after the car as the guys drive off.
"Tris, do you know what the surprise is?" Marlene asks.
I shake my head, "Not a clue."
"Damn, I'm really curious. I wonder when we get the surprise," Christina says.
"Guess we'll find out soon enough," Shauna says, shrugging.
"I think I'm just going to let this one play out. Four looked pretty excited about whatever they're planning," I respond.
I'm typically a really curious person who isn't much for surprises but something about this particular thing makes me want to let it play out. I guess a part of it is how hyped the guys seem about whatever their plan is. I hope whatever it is, it happens soon though.
A/N: Well, hello lovelies! Was that decent enough after the long wait? I'm so sorry for not updating, my grades were falling in school and I was going to update yesterday, but as I said before, I broke my ankle ugh. Anyway, I love you guys so much and please leave some reviews for me! They make me really happy and I could use that right now. Have a good week y'all!(:
