A/N: Really, guys? I got 38 reviews for the last chapter! Each and every one of you is utterly amazing, and I love y'all with all my heart. I just had to update today because of all the nice things you guys had to say. I'm sorry for the cliffhanger, I didn't realize how much it would bug you guys haha! The last part of the surprise wasn't that big of a deal in my opinion, it was actually Ghost Reader's (a guest) idea. This chapter is going to be pretty short because it's only the last part of the surprise, and I have to finish my homework. Again, thank you all so very for all the love and reviews! I hope you enjoy this chapter, leave some more love/reviews for me please!
Tobias' POV
We break apart when Uriah speaks up, "Okay, there's one last part of this surprise."
Tris turns to me with a confused look. I smirk and gesture for her to walk back inside the cabin. She shakes her head and rolls her eyes, but does as I suggest. Christina, Shauna, and Marlene follow her lead, all of them glancing at their hand about every 10 seconds.
"Okay, that turned out better than I thought it would. Good thinking Uri," Zeke appraises.
"Thanks, but we still need to do the last part of this surprise," Uriah says. We all nod and jog back up to the cabin. We walk through the front door and back to the living room where the girls are sitting, showing off their rings. I smile to myself at the look of pure happiness on Tris' face.
Zeke, Uriah, Will, and I walk back up onto the stage and each grab a microphone. The girls fall silent and look up at us expectantly. They're probably expecting another dumb song or something.
"Make sure you pay attention to the words in this song," Will explains.
Christina, Marlene, Tris, and Shauna all nod their heads and look at us with full attention. The guys and I agreed we would sing this whole song together instead of taking parts. The music begins to play and so we begin to sing,
105 is the number that comes to my head, when I think of all the years I wanna be with you.
Wake up every morning with you in bed, yeah that's precisely what I plan to do.
And you know one of these days, when I get my money right,
Buy you everything and show you all the finer things in life.
We'll forever be in love, so there ain't no need to rush.
But one day, I won't be able to ask you loud enough.
I'll say, 'Will you marry me?' I swear that I will mean it,
I'll say, 'Will you marry me?' Oh woah oh oh.
How many girls in the world can make me feel like this?
Baby, I don't ever plan to find out.
The more I look, the more I find the reasons why.
You're the love of my life.
You know one of these days when I get my money right,
Buy you everything and show you all the finer things in life.
We'll forever be in love, so there ain't no need to rush.
But one day I won't be able to ask you loud enough,
I'll say, 'Will you marry me?' I swear that I will mean it,
I'll say, 'Will you marry me?'
And if I lost everything, in my heart it means nothing,
'Cause I have you, girl, I have you
To get right down on bended knee
Nothing else would ever be better, better
That day when...
I'll say, 'Will you marry me?' I swear that I will mean it.
I'll say, 'Will you marry me?'
I'll say, 'Will you marry me?' I swear that I will mean it
I'll say, 'Will you marry me?'
Got me singing Ooh whoa ooh oh
Got me singing Ooh whoa ooh oh
Would you marry me, baby?
Ooh whoa ooh oh
Ooh whoa ooh oh
Ooh whoa ooh oh
A hundred and five is the number that comes to my head,
When I think of all the years I wanna be with you.
Wake up every morning with you in my bed
That's precisely what I plan to do, yeah.
The song ends and I stare at Tris. Her jaw is dropped and her eyes are shining. I'm going to take that as a good enough sign that she liked this surprise.
I hop down from the stage and walk towards her. I hold out my hand and pull her up from the couch, pulling her to my chest and hugging her tightly. I move her hair away from her ear and bend down to whisper in it, "So was the surprise worth us borrowing your car?"
She laughs gently and pulls my face down to hers for a passionate, love filled kiss. When we pull away from each other, I look around to notice that we're the only ones still in the living room. Tris smirks, grabs my hand and begins dragging me towards our bedroom.
I'll definitely have to thank Uriah for his brilliant plan later.
A/N: How was that guys!? I must love you guys because my computer disconnected the internet when I tried to save this so I had to type it all over again, ugh. Now I have to finish my homework and I just found out I'm going to a Christmas party at church. Oh yeah, that song was Marry Me by Jason Derulo, it's a pretty nice song actually. I had never heard it before Ghost Reader recommended it. Lastly, I have something I wrote a couple months ago in July when I first started posting on here. It's just Four's fear landscape but in his point of view. It was like the first thing I posted on here. Read it if you want, though it might be kind of bad, I don't remember... I hope you enjoyed that chapter, leave me some reviews please! Love all y'all and have a wonderful week!(:
