Harry is an original character (OC).
Lily works as an Unspeakable, she is powerful and has invented many runes, one of which is time compression. She fitted her trunk with it. She is the only one who knows about this, and she found the time rune by accident and kept it secret.
The Potters have a long history on both sides of the world, but they are neither politically nor financially powerful. They have a history of open-mindedness and equal rights for all beings.
House elves were once regular elves but due to inbreeding they started to be born with cracked magic cores. They made a pact with early magical humans which allowed them to survive but it did not solve the problem. This resulted in mental illness and physical health problems. Today's elves came to being.
The Potter family has had house-elves for generations and most of the Potters treat them like family. To help their elves, Potters who are about to die would give their entire cores to elves, which reduced mental health problems in elves. The Potter elves were powerful and healthy.
House-elves from the rest of the world have become nearly extinct due to poor treatment from humans and health problems. There are only about 200 left in all of Britain, of which nearly 100 are Potter elves, 50 or so work at Hogwarts.
Potters have been taking many different magical creatures into their families for thousands of years resulting in lots of interracial marriages which resulted in lots of different type of magic introduced in family and few of the children born with multiple types of magic
The Potters have specific rules for all these beings that have taken shelter in their family. The Potter Reserve is only accessible to non-human Potters and those who pass the Trial of Equality.

All magic comes from Alterans who escaped planet destruction due to natural causes. Nearly 100 such Alterans arrived during the Ice Age, some like Merlin were trapped in stasis, while others wandered Earth until the end and sacrificed their cores to recreate Alteran on Earth, resulting in the introduction of Dark Matter to Earth, which was later converted into Magic on Earth.
Tom had connected his magic to every death eater thus giving everyone near him a 25% boost and giving Tom excess and control over their magic.
Harry uses his connection with Tom to use magic of Tom and his Death Eaters resulting in giving him ability to recharge his core from them. He uses this to charge time compression and other wards every hour which results in Death Eaters' inability to cast anything above third year level spells.
Constant use of magic from a young age gave Harry an extremely powerful and dense magical core.
