A/N: 505 reviews. 505 REVIEWS! Are you finnicking kidding me!? Y'all that is so outrageous, thank you so much! I love y'all to pieces! Sorry I took so long to update, I've had finals. I got a 99.5 on my Algebra 2 final and I almost cried. I got an 83 on my physical science final which really sucks. I took my AP Human Geography final today so I don't know my score yet. Also, I have to go to a stomach specialist because literally everything I eat hurts my stomach and just ugh. This may sound weird but I'm going to write my own book. I know I'm only 15 and I don't plan on it ever being popular or anything but I just want to see how it would turn out. I won't be posting it on here because it's not fanfiction but if I ever finish it and you want to read it, let me know and I'll send it to you somehow! And if any of y'all want to be my friend, don't hesitate to ask! I love it, it makes me happy. You can kik me if you want, I don't mind. My kik is 'HaleyLovesBooks'. And y'all can follow me on Instagram divergent_obsessor. Or you could just PM me on here if you want! Lastly, to anyone wondering, I live in South Carolina. I love y'all though and I hope you enjoy this chapter!(:
Tris' POV
The following day, I'm determined to stick to my last comment at the club. I would have left him alone if he hadn't made that comment to Zeke. Now I plan to torture him all day. After all, it is quite amusing to me and everyone else around me. Besides, we need to get this prank war thing back on track, we only have a month until school begins again. It kind of just faded away and I'm ready for the hilariousness and embarrassment to return. I don't know how I'm going to torture Tobias though. Technically, it's supposed to be everyone else's turn to get Tobias and I back for the pink hair and creepy noises. But if they aren't going to extract their revenge, I'll be the one to get the game started again.
Currently, I'm laying on the couch in the living room with my head in Tobias' lap and him running his fingers through my hair. Zeke is sitting in the lazyboy with Shauna placed in his lap. Christina and Will are sitting on the fluffy rug together. Lastly, Uriah and Marlene are sitting on the piano bench.
I sit up and Tobias looks at me with a questioning look. I shrug and move so that I'm straddling his lap. He puts his hands on my hips and raises a perfectly arched eyebrow at me. I smile and lean down to his ear and whisper-sing,
I'm so addicted to all the things you do,
When you're going down on me, in between the sheets.
All the sounds you make, with every breath you take.
It's unlike anything, when you're loving me.
I pull back and look at him, smirking, gauging his reaction. His mouth is slightly parted and he's just staring at me with the oddest look in his eyes. I laugh and climb off his lap, situating myself into my earlier position. Tobias is still too shocked to move, his mouth still hanging open. I reach up and close it for him, laughing to myself.
"Uh, Tris... What did you say to Four?" Christina asks.
"Oh, nothing of importance," I respond sweetly and innocently.
"But... He's not even moving," Will points out.
"Wait a minute," Zeke begins suspiciously. "Does this have anything to do with what you said when we were leaving the club last night?"
I grin, "Maybe."
"Well, then I'm staying out of it. Way out of it," Zeke says. Tobias still hasn't really moved other than laying his hands on top of my hair again but no longer running his fingers through it.
"Wait, what happened last night?" Uriah asks abruptly.
"Trissy's evil," Tobias says, still partly in his daze.
"No, what really happened?" Shauna asks. Everyone turns to Zeke expectantly.
"Well, our 'innocent' little Tris here was kind of torturing poor old Four last night and I walked over to tell them we were leaving and apparently saved him. However, he mouthed 'Thank you' at me and I guess Tris didn't like that because well..." He gestures to Tobias at that last part.
"Okay enough about me," Tobias complains, finally fully out of his daze. I smirk at him, trying to hold in my laughter. He glares at me.
"What's wrong?" I ask innocently.
"Really, Tris? You want to kn-" Tobias begins but is cut off by Uriah's girly terrified scream. I wrench upright and look at him, as does everyone else in the room.
"What is wrong with you!?" Marlene shouts.
"Look at the spider! It's bigger than my hand!" Uriah whimpers. We all turn our heads to where he pointed. And he was not kidding. In the corner of the room, hiding in the shadows, is a spider about the size of my head.
"What the hell? That thing could probably eat my dog!" Christina yells.
"Somebody get rid of it before it kills us all!" Shauna screams.
One of you boys do it. You're supposed to be men," I say. As we speak, the spider is crawling up the wall towards the ceiling, probably trying to crawl above our heads and fall on us, bringing us to our imminent death.
"There is no way I'm going near that thing! My face is too beautiful to be messed up by poison," Uriah claims.
Zeke snorts, "If you're beautiful, then I'm a Greek god. But I'm not doing it either."
"Don't look at me," Will says quickly. All heads turn to Tobias.
"Oh for crying out loud, you're all just a bunch of giant pansycakes," Tobias complains.
Uriah gasps dramatically, "You take that back!"
Tobias laughs, "Nope."
"JUST GET RID OF THE SPIDER!" Christina screams.
"We don't have anything big enough to catch it with," I point out. Everyone looks around frantically. Zeke chucks a trashcan at me. I look down at it in my hands
"You want me to catch that mammoth spider with this trashcan?" I ask incredulously. He nods.
I grunt in frustration and begin to tiptoe towards the spider, so as not to scare it. Tobias grabs a giant piece of paper off the table to slip under the trashcan. As I get closer to the spider, I get more nervous. I'm not going to be a huge pansycake like all of them but I definitely don't like spiders.
The spider sits on the same spot of the upper wall. I inch closer, the trashcan ready in my hands. Finally, I slam the trashcan over the spider's mammoth-sized body. Cheers erupt in the room. I'm shaking because my grip is so tight on the trashcan.
I look over at Tobias and he walks forward. He slides the giant piece of paper under the bin. Then, he grabs some tape and tapes the paper to the trashcan so it stays put. I slowly pull the bin off the wall and calmly sit it on the floor.
"Yeah! We caught Farrell!" Uriah shouts.
"First off, we? No. Four and I caught the thing. And secondly, did you name that thing Farrell?" I say. He nods.
I guess the stress of the situation finally wears off because everyone bursts into laughter. Tobias puts the spider outside while the rest of us laugh.
"Uriah, you are such a wimp. You're deathly afraid of spiders," Christina says, giggling.
"Yeah, well, you're scared of moths!" He shouts indignantly. Christina glares daggers at him.
Will laughs, "That's my girl. Tough as cotton balls."
"Oh shut up!" She exclaims, slapping his shoulder.
"Alright," I say as Tobias wraps his arms around my waist. "That's enough excitement for one day. I'm taking a nap."
A/N: I hope y'all liked that. Leave reviews and love! I start new classes next week so I don't know when I'll be updating again but I love y'all so so so much!
