Prom was just in a few days and Bonnie found herself panicked. Her dress hasn't arrived yet, she has no idea how she's going to do her hair, and she's pretty sure that Stefan's tux doesn't match her dress. Stefan told her that they didn't have to match exactly and that they would be the unique couple there. That made her feel somewhat better, but she still was nervous.

The next day, Bonnie ran to the door when she heard the bell go off. The bright smile on her face faded causing the person who was at the door to look offended.

"Sorry," Bonnie apologized when she noticed the offensive look, "I was just hoping that it was my dress."

"Actually, I have a surprise for you."

"What?"

"Give me a kiss first."

Bonnie chuckled and wrapped her arms around her boyfriend's neck and kissed him.

"Stef, my parents are home." Bonnie said after forcing herself from pulling away from his lips.

Stefan pulled her outside with him placing her back against the wall.

"Close your eyes."

Bonnie obeyed with a smile.

"Open."

Bonnie gasped loudly as Stefan held a gift in a box shaped like the ones a dress comes in. And then she opened it, sure enough it was her dress.

"You had it sent to my place I guess. And the best part is that my tux does match."

"Yes!" Bonnie's arms went around his neck again and their lips met ferociously.

Rudy Bennett came downstairs for a glass of water when he noticed that the front door was open. He knew that the bell rung earlier and that Bonnie answered it, but he couldn't figure out why the thing was open.

He stepped outside to investigate and what he saw he didn't approve of. Stefan was whispering something in his daughter's ear that at first made her smile then caused her to bite down on her lip. His head moved away from her ear and he asked her, "Yeah?" to which she nodded her head with her lip still in her mouth. Rudy's arms folded under his chest waiting until they notice that he's been there to the entire time, but when the kissing started, Rudy deeply cleared his throat.

Bonnie jumped at the sight of her father and looked over at Stefan who looked...well, she really couldn't figure that out. He seemed quite calm, but they just got caught by her father, he couldn't be calm.

"Mr. Bennett," Stefan tried for a handshake but was rejected. "I was just giving Bonnie her prom dress."

"Mmmhmm," Rudy switched his view from Stefan to Bonnie who couldn't handle the glare.

"I guess I should go. See you later, babe." Stefan kissed her cheek before flashing a quick smile in Rudy's direction before leaving.

Bonnie was admiring herself in the mirror loving how the dress fit her body perfectly when she heard knocks on the door.

"Come in." The door opened then Bonnie realized that she didn't want anyone to see her in the dress yet. "Wait!" She ran and grabbed her robe covering her body as her father shielded his eyes.

"Are you good?"

"Yeah"

Rudy removed his hands from his eyes and took a seat on her bed. Bonnie sighed knowing that this wasn't going to be a pleasurable conversation and sat next to him.

"I want to talk to you about Stefan."

"What about him?"

"Has he- have you two"

"Had sex?"

Bonnie swore she saw her father turn blue for a quick second. "Have you?"

"Honestly,"

"Wait." Rudy held up his hand, "I'm not prepared for this." He took a deep breath with his eyes closed and three more after that. She found the thing to be quite amusing.

"Honestly," Bonnie started again, "yes. We have made love."

Bonnie didn't want to lie. She knew that Stefan would be in her life for a long time and she didn't want to keep any secrets away about their relationship.

"And honestly, dad, I've never been more in love with a person in my life. Stefan isn't like other guys, he cares for me, he makes me feel special and wanted and he loves me. I can't picture my future without him at this point, dad. And that scares the hell out of me, I'm eighteen and I see myself marring Stefan and having kids, and growing old and dying together. I haven't felt this way about anyone and I know that he feels the same."

"How do you know that?"

"By his actions." Bonnie answered imminently. "The way he treats me, the way he looks at me, the way he loves me" and touches me. "Everything that he does for me tells me that."

"I just don't want you to get hurt again."

A tear escaped her eye. "I don't either, but I know that he won't hurt me or at least try to hurt me. Relationships are filled of difficult times and obstacles, but I'm ready to go through that and I have some already went through with that with Stefan."

Rudy smiled at how adult Bonnie has gotten.

"I'm proud of you, baby girl."

"Thanks dad."

After getting her nails and hair done with Caroline and Elena, they all gathered at Bonnie's place (since it was the biggest) and got ready.

Caroline was dressed in a long, form fitting peach dress with pearls and crystals acting as a belt under her bust. Her blonde locks were pinned high up on her head and her earrings dangled a few inches above her shoulders.

Elena's dress was a dark grey color and strapless. Strips of black sequence traced the outline of a flower starting from her ribs reaching up as far as her breast. The dress wasn't all that innocent for the back had a deep cut reaching her lower back. Her long locks were pulled and curled into a ponytail with stud earrings.

Bonnie's dress was emerald green making her eyes pop. The top of the dress acted like a corset which was beaded then faded out on the skirt. It was strapless like the others but had a sweetheart neckline. She knew that Stefan would lose it when he saw her.

"Girls, your dates are here!" Rudy called from downstairs.

They squealed and applied any makeup that needed to be touched up. After breath and bugger checks, they headed downstairs one at a time with Rudy's introduction. Vanessa was at the end of the stairs snapping pictures telling them to try different poses. Stefan rocked on his heels waiting for his date to descend from the stairs. He will admit the Caroline and Elena looked stunning, but he knew his Bonnie would look phenomenal.

And he was right.

He held back his curse when she came to view. His eyes raked her body very carefully and bit down on his lip as she walked further down the stairs which caused his two favorite things to giggle. He was waiting for her by the time she reached the bottom of the stairs and he tried his hardest to not kiss her.

"You look beautiful."

Bonnie smiled and returned the compliment before Vanessa took more pictures. After the "photo-shoot", they climbed in the limo and the girls let out cheers as the driver took off.

Stefan stayed on his best behavior throughout the ride to the restaurant then the ride to the prom, but when they reached the location and everyone was getting out the limo, he pulled Bonnie back inside and needly kissed her. His hands slid down her back and he messes with the ties a little.

"I wanted to do that all night." Stefan confessed.

Bonnie kissed Stefan, "Me too."

After a few moments, they exit the limo and stand hand-in-hand in front of the hotel. Laughter and music were heard from outside and they exchanged looks before walking in.
