A/N: Hello lovelies! I'm terribly sorry for the lack of update. I don't even really have a valid excuse. My only excuse is that I tortured myself this weekend by reading Clockwork Princess AND The Fault In Our Stars so I was too sad to do much but lay there and cry. But hey, school in my county is cancelled because of an inch of snow! Wooh! So now I can update yay! Also, I would just like to thank you guys for all the amazing reviews. They make me smile and laugh. I already have 560 and you're all just perfect human beings. On a sad note, this story will probably be coming to an end very soon. I'm predicting maybe another two or three chapters after this one. Thank you to everyone who kiked me or followed me on Instagram. If you haven't, my kik is HaleyLovesBooks and my Instagram is divergent_obsessor so yeah, feel free to use those! Thank you so much to everyone who voted in the MTV movie brawl! We ended up beating Maps to the Stars but we lost to Vampire Academy. Don't get me wrong, VA is great but I mean.. IT'S DIVERGENT. WE SHOULD HAVE WON. Same to The Maze Runner! Like seriously people, you all have a bad taste. Anyway, if you voted, you're now my best friend whether you like it or not and I love you! To the person who asked if I lived in Greenville, I actually live in the Myrtle Beach area. Anywayyy, here's the chapter you've all been apparently dying for and I hope it was worth the wait (it's probably not). I love all of you and I greatly appreciate your existence for reading this author's not and this fanfiction! Okay, now enjoy.(:
Tris' POV
"I'm so bored," Christina groans.
"You're always bored, Christina," Will points out. She smacks his shoulder.
"Somebody come up with something to do," Marlene says. We all swivel our heads to look at Zeke and Uriah.
"What?" They ask simultaneously.
"You two are the ones who come up with stupid hilarious ideas everyday," I explain. Everyone else nods in agreement. Zeke and Uriah turn and look at each other. I watch their display intently. It seems as if they're having a conversation but no words are being spoken. They turn their heads back to us and say together, "Truth or Dare."
"Yeah, we haven't played that in a while," Shauna says. Everyone else shrugs. I guess we're so bored and out of things to do that we'll take virtually any suggestion. I heave myself of the chair I was sitting in in the kitchen and head towards the living room. I hear faint footsteps behind me, signaling that the others are following my lead. I plop down on the floor and everyone else does also, forming a circle. Tobias ends up on my left and Christina to my right.
Zeke begins to speak, "Okay, same rules as before. If you don't want to answer a truth or complete a dare, you must remove an item of clothing. Shoes and socks don't count, though none of us are even wearing any at the moment. Anyway, let's get this game started. I'm awesome so I'll start us off. Uriah, truth or dare?"
"Truth," Uriah says.
"Wow, starting off the game with a truth, you giant pansycake," Zeke declares. And of course, Uriah gasps dramatically.
"Oh, just ask him a question before he goes on a rant about the word pansycake," Tobias demands.
"When was the last time you got laid?" Zeke inquires.
"Last night," Uriah mumbles while he and Marlene turn redder than ketchup. Zeke begins to laugh.
"Dude, why must you always ask that question? You know it mortifies them," I say.
"That's the whole point. They're so embarrassed," Zeke explains.
"Okay, enough! Shauna, truth or dare?" Uriah says while glaring at Zeke.
"Um... Tr-Dare," Shauna answers.
"I dare you to kick Zeke where it counts."
"Maybe I want to have kids with him some day!" Shauna shouts.
Uriah shrugs, "Kick him or strip. Your choice."
"Ugh, fine. Sorry, Zeke," Shauna tells him.
"What?" Zeke shouts. "Don't I get a say in this?"
"Of course not. Your opinion does not matter," Tobias answers, smirking. Zeke glares at him but stands up for Shauna. She walks up and kicks him, trying not to hit too hard. He grunts and falls back to the floor, clutching his junk.
"I hate you all so much," He groans.
"That's okay," Will says.
"Anyway, Marlene. Truth or dare?" Shauna asks.
"Dare. Always dare," Marlene answers.
"I dare you to call your mom and sing 'Lets Talk About Sex,'" Shauna tells her.
Marlene glares but pulls her phone out. She dials her mom and when she picks up, Marlene begins to sing.
Let's talk about sex, baby.
Let's talk about you and me.
Let's talk about all the good things,
and the bad things that may be.
Let's talk about sex.
Let's talk about sex.
Marlene quickly hangs up before her mom can reply. Everyone is laughing except Mar who is looking really embarrassed.
"Tris, truth or dare?" Mar asks me.
"Truth," I say, not really feeling like during anything that involves physical exertion.
"How many times have you and Tobias done it?"
I blush and mumble, "Twice."
"Wow, you're actually counting?" Zeke asks, smirking widely. I glare at him with the most hateful expression I can muster.
"Okay, new game. I have an idea. All of you girls sit on the couch. Guys, meeting over here," Tobias demands once everyone has calmed down. I get up off the floor with a confused look and sit on the couch. Marlene, Shauna, and Christina do the same. Tobias, Uriah, Zeke, and Will are huddled together on the floor talking about whatever Tobias' idea was.
"Do any of you know what's going on?" Christina asks.
"Not a clue," Shauna replies.
"I find it best to let them do as they please. It's usually funny," I say.
Uriah, Zeke, Will, and Tobias walk over and turn the karaoke machine on.
"This ought to be good," Marlene exclaims. I nod in agreement. Each of the guys grab a microphone and stand somewhere on the makeshift stage. The music begins to play and the guys rip off their shirts. I immediately recognize the song and I'm already laughing before they even begin singing.
My milkshake brings all the boys to the yard.
And they're like, it's better than yours.
Damn right, it's better than yours.
I could teach you, but I'd have to charge.
The whole time they're singing, they're dancing like a female hooker would while shirtless and it's the funniest thing I've ever seen. Christina, Shauna, Marlene and I are already dying. I'm bent over, clutching my stomach to stop the cramps I'm getting from laughing.
My milkshake brings all the boys to the yard.
And they're like, it's better than yours.
Damn right, it's better than yours.
I could teach you, but I'd have to charge.
I know you want it. The thing that makes me.
What the guys go crazy for. They lose their minds.
The way I wind, I think it's time.
La la la la la, warm it up. La la la la la, The boys are waiting.
La la la la la, warm it up. La la la la la, The boys are waiting.
My milkshake brings all the boys to the yard.
And they're like, it's better than yours.
Damn right, it's better than yours.
I could teach you, but I'd have to charge.
The music turns off and all the guys strike a strange pose on the makeshift stage. I fall off the couch laughing. I curl into the fetal position with my arms wrapped around my knees, trying to stop the violent shaking of my body. When I finally manage to calm down, I slowly get up off the floor and run to Tobias. I jump on him, wrapping my legs around his waist and my arms around his neck. I lightly peck his lips and whisper, "You have the best ideas ever."
He smiles widely and says, "I just love to see you laugh, Trissy."
"I love you, Tobias."
"As I love you."
A/N: I love you guys. Remember, this story is coming to a close really soon. I'm going to take my nieces to play in the snow now. Have a nice week!
