Chapter 8: Looking for Amy!

"Almania, go to the other side."

"Uhm why?"

I was just trying to have some conversation, but she doesn't seem that friendly.. She just deeply stared at me with that tone of anger again. I got intimidated, not wanting to see her dark side again and just said:

"I mean.. Yes ma'am!"

"Wait, I almost forgot something. Before training, you should wear this uniform everyday. It is a proper clothe that will make it easier for you to fight. Just go to the bathroom and put it on. I'll wait for you."

"Yes ma'am." I said obediently.

I took the strange clothe and walked to the restroom. I don't really know what I'm doing or why I'm even obeying her in the first place, but I don't have a choice anyway. Even if I did run away from this nostalgic place, I wouldn't have anywhere to go. Not even.. NO! I am not gonna remember them again! If I do,I will get severe pain in my heart, and I dont wanna suffer anymore. Just forget about them. They are not important anymore. I just sighed, and started to change my clothes.

Sonic's POV:

Months and months have passed, and there was still no sign of Amy. We looked everywhere for her. We looked for the whole city Mobius, and on Square station, but no matter how many times we looked, she was just nowhere to be found! I even tried looking all around the world! Every other city of the world, but I couldn't find her! Amy... Where are you? Where could you possibly be? And right now, all of us are back to Tail's workshop. We all sat there, not knowing what to do anymore.

"What can we do now?" I said.

No one could answer me now. As everyone was silent, Jet stood up and we all looked up to him.

"I know is going to sound bad what I'm about to say, but.. We can't be doing this anymore."

"What do you mean? You're giving up already?" I said standing up also.

Jet just stayed quiet.

"Look, I know right now it looks bad. But we can't give up yet! Amy is somewhere! She has to! Besides, what if she were somewhere dangerous? Would you really let her be in danger?" I said trying to convince him.

"Sonic, don't you get it!? We looked EVERYWHERE! She is NOWHERE to be found! And if she is nowhere, then that could mean only one thing..." Jet said.

"Jet! Is this really how you're gonna be like?!" Wave said.

"I'm sorry Wave but I'm doing something here called 'facing reality'. You think I like any of this? Of course I don't! But what can I do if we looked everywhere around the world and she is nowhere to be found! I wish she was to be found, but she is just gone.. There's nothing we can do about it now.."

Then, Jet just walked out.

"Jet!" Both Wave and Storm said.

They ran to him. Storm go out but Wave stopped running. She turned around to face us. She looked like she was about to cry and said:

"Im sorry.. I'm sorry this is all happening to Amy... Especially you Sonic.." She said.

She turned around and now followed Jet. Now everyone was undecided on what to do. But not me. I will definitely not give up!

"Now what?" Cream asked Tails.

He sighed stressfully and said: "I really don't know what to say anymore. As much as I hate to say it, I don't disagree with Jet.. He does make a point.."

"Not you too Tails!" I said.

"So hold on a sec.. Are you saying Amy is.. gone?" Silver said.

"That can't be! I know she is alive! I know she is! We just have to look harder!" I said denying what he said.

"Sonic, in case you forgot, we looked all over the world for her, and she was nowhere." Knuckles said.

"Maybe she's not a goner. Maybe she's just not on this world." Shadow said quietly as usual.

"What? But how could Amy just be on another world? That doesn't make sense! She doesn't remember any of that stuff to travel to different worlds, so I just find that impossible." Knuckles said.

"Shadow does make some sense though. To be honest, I don't think Amy is dead either. I think something happened that made her disappear in this planet. But just what could it be? What happened to her?" Blaze said pondering.

"Yeah, is not like she just disappeared.." Tails said.

We got back to the silence again, thinking about the places where she could possibly be. But then, I just got an idea.

"What if we go to all the planets we visited before? Maybe Amy had a memory about them and tried to find a way to go there. Who knows? Maybe she is there. We just have to try looking for her."

"But the only way she could go to other planets is to either use a rocket or a Chaos Emerald. I don't think she would be so crazy to use a rocket, so my guess is she used a chaos emerald. How she found one? I have no idea. But that is the only way to visit other planets. So she would definitely use Chaos Emerald if thats where she really is." Shadow said.

"Shadow is right.."

"Alright then what are we waiting for then? Let's look for her!" I said.

We all got close so that Shadow could transport us. However, something was not right with Blaze.

"Ugh!" She groaned.

She collapsed and groaned in pain.

"Blaze?! What's wrong?!" Silver said worried.

Blaze looked horrible. Her body for some reason looked blurry and she was definitely not ok.

"Oh no! Why now?" Blaze said

"I dont get it whats going on?" Silver said trying to make her feel better.

"Is just the time space continuum. My body has spent too much time in the past and can no longer hold it much longer... If I stay longer, my existence will vanish!"

"But how come that's not happening to Silver?" Rouge said confused.

"I have no idea.. Something is not.. right.."

Soon however, her legs started to fade slowly. We all got scared and didn't know what to do.

"Blaze! What's happening to you now?" Silver said worried.

"I think.. My throne. is .. calling me... to return.." She said getting weaker.

"But that could only mean.. Something bad must be happening in our period time?" Silver said.

"Pro..bab..ly.."

"Is she going to be alright?" Cream said.

"Yes, dont worry.. she is just going back to her period time.." Silver said.

"Im sorry... Im so sorry.. I wish I could help you.. But something must be troubling my kingdom.. And whatever it is, I.. have to.. stop it! Sil..ver! Help Sonic for me! And when you find Amy, tell her Im sorry.."

"Don't worry Blaze everything will be fine. Now go and see whats happening to our kingdom." Silver said holding her hand.

She nodded weakily. She slowly closed her eyes, and now her body faded quicker until she absolutely disappeared.

"Oh my Lord what could all this mean?" Cream said worried.

"I just hope she's alright." Knuckles said.

"Do you think that conflict on the future has to do with our period time?" Shadow said.

"Im not sure... But.. It could be possible.. Whatever is happening on the future, has to be connected to whatever is happening right now.." Silver said.

"Geez.. Now this is getting even worse! What should we do now?" Rouge said.

"Maybe traveling to other planets might give us clues?" Tails said.

"Yeahh.. maybe looking for Amy and looking for clues at the same time is not such a bad idea.. What do you say Silver?" Sonic said.

"Of course! Besides, I promised Blaze I will find Amy for her." Silver said

"Alright then, lets go." Shadow said.

"Cream, we're leaving now. It's best you go back to Vanilla again." Tails said.

"Alright then Tails good luck."

They kissed goodbye and she left Tail's workshop. Now everyone gathered together while Shadow got out his Chaos Emerald.

"I want everyone to touch the emerald." Shadow said.

We all did what he said. And then he said: "Chaos..Control!"

And we all vanished into a whole different world.

The Planet of Fortune:

Now we all appeared at a different place. We didn't know exactly where we were, because we couldn't recognize the place. The place looked so lively and bright. To put it in simple words, is as if we were living in mother nature's world. There were tree cherries, birds were chirping joyfully, and the sun was shining brightly.

"Where are we? I certainly don't recognize this planet." Tails said confused.

All of us looked at our surroundings to see if we could recognize this planet, but we didn't.

"Shadow did you send us at the right planet?" Tails said.

"Of course I did. The Chaos Emerald never makes mistakes." Shadow said.

Just as we were wondering where were we, we heard someone say:

"Hello there. Are you lost?"

We tried to see who talked, but.. we didn't see anyone..

"Hey! Down here!"

Then we all looked down and saw small alien creatures.

"You don't seem to be from here. You need help?"

Wait a sec! I know this guys! They're...

"Marmolims!" Everyone said at the same time.

"We're at the planet of Misfortune!" Rouge said.

"But this doesn't look nothing like the last time we were here." Knuckles said confused.

"I'm sorry but I barely know what you're talking about." One of the marmolims said.

"That's ok! We come from a different planet. Can you take us to someone who could help us?"

"Sure! But let me introduce myself first! My name is Nuly and this here is my sister Nila!"

"Nice to meet you!" We all said.. except Tails.

We all followed the little alien girls. When we got to their village, we were all so amazed at how different it is now from the last time we all came here. It used to be tragic, everything was dry, there were no trees, and everyone would be hiding from danger. But now, is all upside down. Everyone is so cheerful. Kids playing around, while adults would go to their usual work. However they were all small, so their houses were tiny. It was like the size of an elf to go in there. I guess ever since we destroyed Metarex, all the planets have restored their peace. As we all walked, I noticed something was not right with Tails. He would not say a word and would just stare at the sky. Hmm, I can already tell what's wrong with him.. He's..

"Here we are!" The two marmolim said.

They took us inside a house. Luckily, we all fitted in. Well, almost. Our heads, already reached the roof, but we still fit inside so that's fine with me.

"Dad! We have some strange visitors!" The green Marmolim Nila said.

Inside the house, there was a round table and behind it was a chair occupied by an old purple marmolim.

"Alright I will take care of this." The old marmolim said.

The two girl marmolims walked outside and left us with the old man.

"Well then, is good to see you again Sonic." The old marmolim said.

This guy knows us because he saw us save his planet.

"Yup"

"Why are you here again?"

"You see, we are kinda in a complicated situation.. First, we lost Amy, who at the moment has Amnesia and doesn't remember anything and second, we are looking clues for any strange things happening. Has anything weird happened?"

"Well, what do you exactly mean by strange? Can you be a little more specific?"

Silver stepped in and said: "You see sir, I come from the future and at that period of time, something terrible is happening to my kingdom. I'm not sure what exactly but we are trying to find what caused it to happen. So it would help us a lot if you give us clues."

"Hmm.. Well.. I'm not very sure if anything did happen around this village.. In fact, this planet has been very peaceful ever since you saved us from the Metarex army, so I doubt anything strange has happened... Sorry I couldn't help.."

"As for Amy.. I don't think she's here either."

"Oh." Everyone said.

Now all of us were kinda disappointed that we are not getting any answers at all!

"But you are free to investigate the land as much as you want." The old marmolim said.

"Thank you. We will do that right away."

We all got outside and then decided to split up to different places. We spent the whole day looking, until it already became night. We were all tired from searching, and the marmolims nicely invited us for a tasty dinner. However, something was missing. Tails! Where is he now? ... Just now, I got an idea where is he, and there's no doubt I'm wrong on this one. So I ran to where he is. And just like I thought. Tails was right there, sitting down at the now grassy cliff staring at the big green moon. I walked there and sat next to him.

"You ok buddy?"

"Yes.. It's just this place.. brings me back memories of her.." Tails said staring at the moon.

"Yeah.. I knew it... You know, this place brings me memories too.. Remember when Amy tried to give me and her a love fortune but failed and only worked on you and Cosmo?" I said laughing.

"Heh.. Yeahh.. It feels as if all of that happened yesterday."

"You gonna be ok buddy?"

Tails now looked at me, smiled and said: "Yeah, don't worry about me. This place is just nostalgic to me, that's all."

We stayed staring at the moon for a few minutes, and then I decided is best to give him some space.

"Alright buddy, I guess I should leave then. I will be at the village."

"Alright. See ya there."

At village:

"Yo Sonic!" I heard Knuckles call as I was running toward the village.

"Wassup"

"Good thing I found you. The little marmolims wanna say something about what we're looking for. Come on!" He said and I followed him.

We walked inside the old marmolims house again. The two girl marmolims where sitting on top of the round table I guess waiting for everyone to come.

"Now can we say it?" Nuly the purple marmolim said.

"Wait a sec where's Tails?" Rouge said.

"Don't worry about him. He will come later." I said.

"Alright then.."

"Now say what you have to say girls." The old marmolim said.

The green one named Nila said: "Well you see, yesterday we just saw someone strange coming to our wold."

"Do you know who was it?" Silver said.

They both shook her head. Then Nuly said: "But.. We can tell you how she looks like.. She looked like from your world.. Only that she was wearing some strange uniform for fighting, and had creepy red eyes."

"We were so scared of her! She looked like she could kill anyone with those creepy red eyes!"

"And not only that, but her aura was soo..dark and gloomy.. She just didn't look nothing alike to nice at all."

We all looked at each other trying to think who could this creepy woman is.. Wait a sec! It can't be Amy! Right?

"Can you tell me what was her skin color?" I said a little alarmed.

"Uhmm.. I think it was brown.." Nila said.

Uff what a relief! Just then we heard someone get in, and it was Tails.

"Hey where were you dude?" Knuckles said.

"Just wanted to take some fresh air before coming back. Did anything happen while I was absent?" Tails said

Good. I'm glad Tails is back to normal now.

"The little girls just informed us of a certain woman with creepy red eyes visiting this world."

"Really? That's interesting.. What was she doing exactly in this planet?"

"She was killing some deers and took some eggs. I really don't know why though." Nula said shrugging.

"Why would someone take a dead deer and eggs? That really doesn't make sense!" Rouge said.

"That sounds to me like ingredients for food." Shadow said.

"Oh come on who would visit a far away planet just for a stupid ingredient? That's really dumb Shadow!" Knuckles said

"I'm just trying to make sense."

"Well you're reasoning doesn't make ANY sense at all."

"Why you.." Shadow said starting to anger.

"Guys you better stop! This is no time for fighting!" Rouge said getting in the middle of their fight.

"Ohh! That's right! I almost forgot!" The old marmolim said.

He looked under his chair and then pulled out something. It was a crystal ball! He put it on the table and said: "I completely forgot! You said you're looking for Amy, right? Well, I can try to give you a fortune of where she could be. However, is not like I'm gonna tell you exactly where she is, but I can give you a clue of what she's going through right now."

"Alright! Tell us then!" I said glad we're finally getting some answers here.

The old marmolim nodded. He put his hands around the crystal ball and started to mutter something weird. Seconds later, the crystal ball started to get cloudy. It was white clouds at the beginning, but for some reason, it turned into black clouds... I just hope that's a good sign.. Then minutes have passed, he opened his eyes and while staring at the crystal ball, he said:

"I don't know why I'm here.. Or why I'm even obeying her.. But I have no choice... I will live under her commands because I know now that I have no purpose on life anymore."

"What was that?" Knuckles said.

"That was just what I got from Amy's thoughts."

Everyone got shocked from hearing that.

"I will live under her commands? Under who? What the heck is happening around Amy? Who is she following rules to exactly?" I said.

"Could it be.." Silver said.

"What Silver what?" I said getting desperate.

"Do you think this strange woman that appeared here has anything to do with Amy?" Silver said.

"And maybe she kidnapped her?" Tails said.

"Which is why she doesn't seem to be anywhere at our planet?" Shadow said.

Now we all looked at each other. This has got to be the only answer. It's gotta be!

"One more thing I want to show you before you guys leave." The old marmolim said.

He cleared the black cloud inside the crystal ball, to reveal a pink hedgehog. Her expression was emotionless. She looked like she felt nothing at all. And her eyes were pure black.

"Oh my god! Her eyes are almost the same as the other woman. Only that hers is black, but she definitely has that same dark aura that other woman does!" Nila said frightened.

"Is that even Amy?" I said terrorized at what I just saw.

She looked terrible. It was like a total different Amy. What.. Happened to her? Who did this to her? She looks as if her soul has been sucked and all is left is her emotionless but tragic face. She looks like she has gone through A LOT.

"This isn't how she is now. But this will be her on the future." The old marmolim said.

"We have to move on! There's no way we're letting that happen!" I said.

"Yeah! We better hurry up!" Rouge said also alarmed.

"This strange woman could also be related to whatever is happening in my kingdom." Silver said pondering.

"But where should we go now?" Tails said.

"What choice do we have? We would just have to keep looking on other planets." Knuckles said.

"Alright then.. I guess we should go now then." Shadow said pulling out his Chaos Emerald.

We all gathered together.

"Thanks all of you. You really did help us a lot."

"I'm glad we did. I hope you can find her." The old marmolim said.

I nodded at him. We all touched the Chaos Emerald and then Shadow said: "Chaos... Control!"

And we all vanished to the next planet.

Amy's POV:

I was panting and panting of exhaustion. I was laying there on the floor, injured from all the fight I did. I heard a door open and saw Alma coming in.

"Stand up."

I did what she say.

She gave me a deep stare and something tells me she is mad at something. She suddenly just randomly slapped at me, making me fall again. She saw me stay there on the floor and said:

"Get up!" She said a little louder.

I quickly did.

"You disappoint me Almania. Is this really all the strength you have? Huh, what a weakling."

I just stood there, with nothing to say.

"Well, I guess you're just a beginnerfor now. But it won't stay like that for long."

Again, I did not say anything.

"Hmm, I see you have improven your discipline. I like that. Now follow me."

I did what she said. I followed her and took me to the same room we were before, only that it had a table and two chairs. The smell of the food was so good! It smelled like eggs and bacon! She walked me to the table, we sat and started eating quietly. It was fried eggs, bacons, and some type of meat I can't tell from what animal is. But overall, it was fine. I wonder where she got this food though. We are in the middle of space, so I have no idea how she got this. It's as if she got this from another planet. But I'm just assuming things anyway. When we finished eating, Alma gave me the permission of taking a shower, and then I went to my room and fell on my bed completely tired from all the training. I stared up at the ceiling again, now thinking of that blue hedgehog. What was his name again..? I dunno. But for some reason, I can't forget his face, even if I wanted to..It's as if he is kept in my heart and can't remove it. I... I think I miss him.. Will I ever see him? I know I ran away from him, but I just don't feel right being here.. What am I saying? They're probably celebrating that I'm finally gone and that they don't have to worry about me anymore... Just thinking like that made my heart clench in pain. I tightly closed my eyes so I could try forgetting this pain. Even if I already know I'm just a nuisance to them, I still cannot stop thinking about this blue hedgehog.. Will I ever see him? I swear I would do anything to see him one more time! My Blue Hedgehog, I wonder what are you doing right now...

And I'm done! I think this chapter was very suspenful and stuff! To be honest, this was so not what I had in mind for the story, but I just got random ideas as I was writing and slowly shaped the story! I think I'm doing a pretty good job so far! :P So tell me guys was this chapter awesome? I SO wanna hear your opinions! :D
