A/N: THE REVIEWS! Thank you guys for reviewing and to all my new readers! Right now this story is my main priority just because it will be ending soon (unfortunately), but until then, enjoy

Graduation day. The day when you're finally free form high school and hopefully all the childish drama. The day that you've been waiting for probably ever since you entered high school, the day that kept you from giving up and flunking tests and quizzes just so you can walk across the stage and receive a piece of paper. A piece of paper that could for some help your future if you use it right and for others just to hang on a wall in your parents place.

"Bonnie Bennett."

Her name was call and all she could think about was how much her life was going to change as soon as she grabs that piece of paper. Cheers filled her ears and a flash was snapped as soon as that rolled up paper was in her hands.

She smiled and watched as her friends names were called and felt a tear run down her eye.

"Stefan Salvatore."

She smiled and clapped and cheered probably louder than anyone and she didn't care, not one bit.

When the ceremony was over the only thing that was on her mind was to find Stefan. To find him, and jump into his arms and kiss him senseless. And when she saw him she did just that.

"Congratulations, baby." Stefan said and kissed her again.

"Alright you two," Rudy said causing the couple to break away.

Stefan returned Bonnie's feet back to the floor and wrapped his arm around her waist.

"Smile!" Vanessa said holding up her camera then snapped a picture holding up their diplomas then one of Stefan kissing Bonnie's cheek.

"Bonnie!" Caroline called running up to her and hugging her with the rest of their friends close behind.

Vanessa snapped a few pictures of the whole group then Bonnie told them that she'll meet them at home which was her way of telling them to scram.

"Can you believe we did it?! Twelve years of our lives just so we could reach this moment. I must say it feels good." Caroline let out a breath of relief.

"We have to promise to keep in touch." Elena said.

"Yeah, no matter what we have to group call each other at least once a month."

"Or once every two months." Tyler said.

They all laughed and agreed before they went their separate ways home to change for the graduation party at Tyler's mansion later.

Bonnie just got finished applying her red lipstick when she heard the doorbell chime. She gave herself a once over in the mirror twisting and turning to different positions to see all angles of herself in her black dress. She ran her fingers through her curls to loosen them up a little before making her way downstairs.

Stefan rose up from the couch when he saw her making her way downstairs.

"You look amazing." Stefan said trying his hardest to not look too goggly eyed at her since her father was present.

"So do you."

Stefan wore a grey shirt that he covered with a black blazer. He had on blue, dark washed jeans and black combat boots with the strings loosely tied.

Stefan extended his arm for her to take.

"Alright, dad, we're out."

"Have fun, but not too much fun."

"Aye aye captain."

Rudy chuckled and shook his head. He watched as Stefan's car turned the corner before he shut the door. As soon as Stefan made the turn he shut the car off and pulled Bonnie in for a steamy kiss. Wanting her to be closer, he moved his seat back and pulled her into his lap.

"You're going to get lipstick all over your lips."

"Baby, I don't care. You look too sexy for me to not kiss you."

Bonnie smiled and kissed him again. "We should get to the party before we miss it."

"And after the party?"

"After," Bonnie said playing with a button on his blazer, "we'll go back to our place and have a little party ourselves."

"Can't wait."

Bonnie was rocking her hips to the beat dancing with her friends. They've been there for about an hour and still felt energy flow through them. The boys returned with drinks in tow and they all raised their glasses.

"To finally being freed from high school." Matt toasted.

"To being free!"

They downed their shots and started moving again. Stefan wrapped his arms around Bonnie as she danced closer to him. After the song ended Stefan felt a tap on his shoulder and when he turned around he saw Abby. He figured that she had a lot of guts confronting him with Bonnie so near.

"Remember me?"

"Prom queen?"

"That's the one." Abby smiled. "I see you're having a fun night." She said when she spotted traces of red lipstick around his mouth.

"Yeah shouldn't we all be? We graduated."

"True. Would you like to dance?"

"Yeah, I'm not sure if that's a good idea."

"So I take it you're still with Bennett?"

"Yep." Bonnie finally cut it. "Now if you'll excuse us," Bonnie said pulling Stefan deeper into the dance floor.

"You're lucky I'm such a nice person."

"You're a nice person?" Stefan joked.

"Shut up, I am a good person I let you talk to Abby for longer than a second."

"It's not like I actually want to talk to her, I'm just being nice."

"Good answer." Bonnie smiled and started dancing again.

Stefan's shirt covered her body as they were lying in bed. The party ended about three hours ago then they went to their home and had that little party that Bonnie promised.

"Can I ask you a question?"

"Anything, babe."

"When will you be starting your training and stuff?"

"A few weeks, but I won't be gone for long, after training I get to come back and wait for my mission."

"God I'm going to miss you."

"You'll be too focused on school to even think of me."

"That's not true, you're always on my mind, Salvatore."

"And you're always on mine, Bennett."

They smiled and shared a kiss before snuggling close.

"Does your dad know?"

"About what?"

"Well first about you not going back home for the rest of the night and I guess about me."

"I told him I was sleeping over at Caroline's and yeah he knows. I needed someone to talk to about it and he actually helped."

"What he say?"

"He told me that I should be proud to be with someone that's willing to risk his life for us crappy people. He told me that instead of worrying about it, I should pray about it and just maybe what I pray for will be His will."

"What did you pray for?"

"I pray that you will be safe and that I'll get to see you again, and that no matter what happens you know that I love you with everything. That if you die I'll learn to deal with it because you died doing something that you love and that you believe in."

Stefan whipped her tear away with the pad of his thumb. "Thank you."

"You're lucky I'm such a nice person."

They chuckled and kissed before closing their eyes and keeping then that way for the rest of the night.
