Weeks had passed since Stefan left. Every day she tried to distract herself to get her mind off of it, but no matter what something or someone would remind her of Stefan. She felt herself growing depressed and that depressed feeling that Bonnie was getting started to get to her. She found herself not being able to keep things down besides small fruits and it started to affect her mentally. She felt as if she was going crazy and instead of the days until he comes back lesson, she felt like the days were getting longer and the amount of days left before she saw him again were greater than they really were.
Her father urged her to make an appointment with the doctors, he didn't like to see her so broken up and he thought that maybe the doctor could help, but Bonnie said that she was fine, that it'll pass.
When she told her parents about taking a semester off from school, they figured that it was for the better seeing how she was acting now. They knew that she wouldn't be able to focus on school like they wanted her to if she started school the next week.
"Bon, are you sure you don't want to go to the doctor? You look ill." Caroline asked concerned.
"I don't know, maybe I should go."
"Thank God." Elena said under her breath.
Rudy and Vanessa's reaction was the same to Elena's when she told them that Caroline and Elena were taking her to the doctors.
They waited in the waiting room and when Bonnie found herself bored she pulled out her phone about to text Stefan but realized that he wouldn't be able to respond. Suddenly she stated to get worried and wonder if he was okay.

Stefan passed out on the bed as he got back from PT. He and Justin had grown close over the past few weeks and was glad that he found a friend so quick. All the other men there were nice, but he considered Justin as a friend.
"Just a few more weeks, Salvatore."
"You don't have to tell me twice," Stefan said sitting up from the bed, "I'm counting down by the hour."
The boys shared a laugh and figured that they'll go get something to eat. They sat at the nearest empty table and started digging in.
"So, how is it like to be without Bonnie?" Justin asked.
"I mean it's hard you know, but it's difficult to focus on her when I have to carry 500 pounds on my damn back." Justin chuckled. "But when it's all over, there she goes, creeping back into my mind and I miss the hell out of her." Stefan shook his head.
"Yeah, I know what you mean."
"You got a girl back home?"
"Yeah, h'names Rachel. Prettiest girl I've ever seen. She got the long red hair and chocolate eyes and some long eyelashes that she swears are real, but I think she got the fake ones when you put the glue on 'em." Stefan chuckled. "We broke up though."
"I'm sorry, Chapman."
"Nah, don't be. I think we'll be back together once she sees that I come back alright. She was scared and so worried that I guess she couldn't handle it."
Stefan nodded. "I know exactly what you mean. Bonnie, she broke my heart when I told her what I was doing. I know she didn't mean it at the time but she told me that she hated me and I don't think you understand how much that crushed me." Stefan thought back. "I just wish that I would've done things different then maybe she would've never told me that rather she meant it or not."
Stefan and Justin went back and forth telling stories about their ladies back home until their lunch was over.

Bonnie was too focused staring down at the phone to notice that her name was being called.
"Bonnie, Bonnie" Elena shook.
"What?" Bonnie asked confused.
Her friends stared back at her with concern then she realized where she was and stood up following the nurse. Elena and Caroline exchanged looks before following behind Bonnie.
They were placed in a room for a little while until the doctor came in.
"So, Ms. Bennett what seems to be the problem?"
"Well, my boyfriend left a few weeks ago for his training into the military and since then I've been a little depressed and I can't seem to keep thing down unless it's something small."
"Okay," the doctor said finishing writing what she said down, "any back pains or stomach pains at all?"
"I guess stomach."
"Alright, and when was your last period?"
"About a month ago? I'm on birth control so-"
"Okay, I see. Well, let me just give you a quick examination to see if there's something deeper going on."
After the examination, the doctor left the room but promised to return shortly. Bonnie looked at her friends and saw the looks on their faces.
"I'm fine, guys, promise." Bonnie gave them a smile.
Moments after that the doctor returned and told Bonnie to start taking multivitamins so that she would get the nutrients that she needed since she wasn't eating all that much. He also recommended a therapist thinking that if she talked about how she's feeling to a stranger rather than someone that knows her personally can make her feel better. Bonnie thanked him and after the appointment, they stopped by Mystic Grill.
Bonnie said that she wasn't hungry and Caroline and Elena both sighed and ordered their meal. Caroline wouldn't give up without a fight though, she offered Bonnie everything that was on her plate and then a thought popped into her head when she noticed something.
"So I'm just going to come out and say it," Caroline said putting down her fork. "Are you pregnant?"
"Very funny, Caroline."
"I'm serious, B. you've been holding your stomach ever since Elena's burger came out, you can't keep anything down, you haven't had your period in a while, and—"
"I'm on birth control."
"That shit fails sometimes. When was the last time you and Stefan… you know."
"The night before he left."
"Do you wrap it up?" Elena chimed in.
Bonnie thought back then her face dropped. "No. No we didn't, we were just caught up in the moment that I—we must have forgot."
Caroline placed her hand on top of Bonnie's as her forehead touched the table.
"Holy fuck, guys. I'm pregnant."
"You don't know that for sure, the doctor didn't say anything."
"Yeah but he doesn't specialize in that stuff. You don't send a child with an eye problem to an ophthalmologist."
"Yes you do..." Elena said trying not to laugh.
Caroline thought for a while. "Well you know what I mean."
"Guys, what am I going to do?"
"We're going to set you up an appointment and get this settled out. It's no need to freak out over what might not be. Just breathe."
Bonnie inhaled and exhaled but the smell started to get to her so they decided to leave.

The next day the girls yet again set out to the doctors telling Bonnie's parents that they were going shopping. The whole time there Bonnie couldn't believe that she was in this room without Stefan. When she pictured her in this moment Stefan was always there by her side holding her hand feeling both nervous and excited, but when she looked over, she saw her friends. She was happy that they were there and thankful that she had such supportive people in her life, but couldn't help but feel a certain disappointment.
"Hi Bonnie, I'm Dr. Porter but you can call me Ann."
"Hi."
"So the pregnancy test came back and you are indeed pregnant."
Bonnie let out a breath and felt the whole earth spin.
"Do you want to keep this baby or-"
"Absolutely," Bonnie said immediately, "I want to keep my baby it's just such a weird time for this to happen."
"Alright, well would you like to see it?"
"You can do that?"
Ann smiled, "Yes."
Ann asked Bonnie to lift up her shirt and when she did a cold gel was squirted on her skin. Ann turned their attention to the screen and they all gasped when they saw the outline of her baby. Tears swelled in her eyes as she stared at the ultrasound picture and all that was on her mind was Stefan and her how her parents would react.
"My parents are going to freak out." Bonnie said looking at the ultrasound picture.
"You think so?"
"Yeah I'm not even twenty and I have a bun in the oven."
"When are you going to tell them?"
"Soon I guess."

Bonnie was pacing the length of her room running through her mind what she was going to say to her parents. She knew that they would freak out, but she also knew that they would be supportive. Sucking in a breath Bonnie opened her door and eased downstairs.
