Ten minutes later James returned dressing more appropriately however he had refused to put her hair back up in its usually pony tail saying it looked better down.
Lily turned to alice and asked "Alice why did you let Lily come down here dressed like that?"
"I thought you would be the last one to complain james" Alice said tittering
"That's what I thought but no. James doesn't want the competition so he wasn't me to dress like a nun" James says nodding at Alice and sending Lily a wink.
"Snivelus certainly wasn't complaining" Sirius laughed as everyone turned to see a blushing Snape with his eyes fixed on James.
"Snape!" James and Lily said together.
"Well Lily would you like me to walk you to potions" said Lily nudging James
"Yes please James that would be nice" said James getting up quickly.
As the pair quickly left the hall Sirius and Alice looked at each other.
"There is something up with those two." Said Alice "don't you think Sirius.
