Chapter 12
James led Snape away from the well lit table where Lily was sat and turned on him. Before James could speak however he realised that Snape was uncomfortably close to him.
"Lil-lly..." Severus stuttered "I am-m so sorry."
"Please can you..." James began shaking slightly.
"Lily please forgive me" Snape said his dark eyes filling with tears stepping dangerously close now.
"You listen he Snivelus!" James spat "Step away from me!" James pushed Snape back roughly.
"I'm sorry Lily I've just really missed you." Snape said reaching to take James' hand. "What are you doing?" Snape asked nervously staring at the wand that was pressed to his throat
"You listen here Snivelus. I am NOT Lily! "James said grabbing Snape's wrist tightly.
Severus screamed and began to struggle "POTTER! POTTER! IT'S NOT LILY! POTTER!" Lily came out of the darkness and tried to calm Snape down.
"It's ok Severus breath calm down. Severus please calm down." Lily said as Snape continued to struggle. Suddenly he stopped.
"Potter? Did you just call me Severus? You've never done that before?!"
Lily nibbled her lip and sent James a nervous look.
"Lip Lily!" James yelled before he realised what he had just said.
"LILY! WHAT THE?! YOU'RE WHAT?! LILY?" Snape yelled his eyes wide.
Just then James grabbed the biggest book he could find and he hit Snape hard in the back of the head. He quickly grabbed the shaking Lily and led her out of the library.
"I guess we know it's not Snape" James said with a chuckle.
