A/N: Hello lovelies! Thank you for all of your sweet reviews. But first, I have to address something. I will never be one of those authors that abandons a story! So many of you were concerned that I wasn't going to finish this story because of mean comments. That won't happen! I may be upset by mean comments but they aren't going to stop me from doing what I love. Plus, I could never disappoint you guys like that. I just can't, you guys mean so much to me. I live and breathe your nice reviews. Anyway, I would have updated yesterday but I had to babysit and then I got bit by a dog and my leg is in pain ugh. I also had to write a poem for my English class. If any of you want to read it, feel free to PM me for it, but fair warning, it's kind of depressing. Moving on, reader of the week this week goes to a Guest, they left the LONGEST, sweetest review. It made me happy. Okay, now I hope you enjoy this chapter! :3

Tris' POV

When I wake up, I try to fight back all of the emotions warring in me. All of the worry, the fear of the unknown. I just can't handle it right now. I know it would be best of me to break up with Tobias. I know that his life story is something that he doesn't want to share with anyone. I can't even imagine how much it would crush him if the whole thing with Marcus got around. But I'm too selfish. I can't let him go. I need him and I know that he needs me. He could never be happy with Brooke, he hates her. And how could she even think this would work? You can't just force someone to love you. It doesn't work like that.

Tobias rolls over, his movement pulling me out of my thoughts. His eyelids flutter open and I'm suddenly staring into his deep blue depths. He reaches a hand out and strokes a lose piece of hair behind my hair. He smiles slightly, "Good morning, Trissy."

"I propose we stay home today and call an emergency meeting with our friends," I tell him.

He sighs and sits up, rubbing the sleep from his eyes, and I mirror his actions. "You're right. We need to deal with this as soon as possible. I'll call the guys, you call the girls," He suggests.

I nod and grab my phone. I quickly dial Christina's number and hit the call button. It rings two times before her groggy voice resonates through the phone, "Hello?"

"Skip school today and come over to my house. Tell Marlene and Shauna to do the same," I respond.

"Tris, what's going on?" She asks, sounding a little bit more alert.

"I'll tell you when you get here. It's an emergency, just please come," I beg.

"Okay, I'll be there soon. And I'll tell Marlene and Shauna."

I hang up and slip the phone in the back pocket of my jeans, being that I never changed yesterday.

"They're coming," I tell Tobias.

"So are the guys," He says. I nod and we quickly change into clean clothes before heading downstairs to wait for them.

About ten minutes pass before there is a knock on the door. I rise from the couch where I was sitting and walk to answer it. When I open the door, everyone trickles in. They sit on the couch and in the chairs in the living room. I walk to where Tobias is sitting on the couch and seat myself in his lap. He wraps his arms around my waist and I lean back against him.

"Guys, what's going on? You're scaring me here," Christina mutters.

I look at Tobias and he nods at me to start. "You guys remember Brooke?"

"The chick who went insane because Four wouldn't date her and then got Peter to help attack you?" Zeke asks. I nod.

"What the hell did she do this time?" Uriah inquires.

I look at Tobias, expecting him to tell this portion of the story. "Well, yesterday after school, I was getting my things out of my locker and I found a note. It said to be at Java Jones at 6pm or they would tell everyone about Marcus. And they used my real name. So I went and Tris was hiding in the corner of the coffee shop while I met with whoever this was. Brooke showed up and said that she would tell everyone my life story unless I break up with Tris and date her," He tells them with a sour edge in his voice.

"Is she completely insane!?" Marlene screams.

"She can't do that!" Shauna shouts.

"She can and she will because she's a cold hearted bitch," Zeke sneers.

Will sighs, "He's right. She'll do it."

"I can't believe this! What are you guys going to do?" Christina asks.

"We don't know," I whisper, trying to keep the pain out of my voice. I must not succeed because Tobias suddenly pulls me closer and rubs soothing circles on my sides.

"Well for starters, I'm clearly not going to break up with Tris and date Brooke. That's not even an option," Tobias states.

"I don't think there is another option, though," I tell him.

"Well, then she's just going to have to tell everyone! Dammit Tris, don't you see that you're what's most important? I'll get through it because I have you," Tobias says. "And them," He adds, gesturing to our friends.

Could I really let him do this? Give up his secret and make him suffer through people mentioning his past every day, just for my own selfishness? I'll never forgive myself.

"I can't take this!" I scream. "She's ruining our lives!"

I scramble out of Tobias' lap and stand up. I start to head towards the door but Tobias says, "Tris, where are you going?"

"To end this whole thing!" I shout. I sprint out of the front door, slamming it shut behind me.

A/N: Oooh, a cryptic ending. I wonder what will happen in the next chapter? ;) Anyway, I don't know when the next update will be because I'm going to BookCon next weekend to see a bunch of amazing authors like Veronica Roth, John Green, Rick Riordan, Marie Lu, Cassandra Clare, and others! I know this chapter was shorter than usual but I hope you guys were pleased with this chapter! Please leave me some nice reviews! I love you people! :3
