A/N: Hey guys! I apologize for the late update once again. I've been dealing with a lot of crap and trying to balance stuff in life lately. But anyway, thank you so much for all the kind reviews that I've received! If you don't mind, I'd greatly appreciate it if you could all leave a review on this chapter! My goal is to end this high school series with a bang, and by that, I mean an insane amount of nice reviews! If possible, that is! And I think that the next chapter will be the last chapter so prepare yourself, my lovelies! Let me know if you want a series of one shots of their life after high school! And thank you for all the nice comments I've received about my book idea. I know it's very vague, there's so much more going on in the book than what I mentioned. There's actually angels in it so yay! And for those who asked, the main female character's name is Taryn Rhimes. When the book is finished, I'm going to try to post it on Wattpad. My username on Wattpad is the same as on here so watch for it! But I'll be sure to post an author's note all over my stories so you guys will know when it's up. And lastly, Reader of the Week goes to amityswiftie! Thank you for your sweet and inspiring review! I love all of you guys so much! I really hope you enjoy this chapter and don't forget to review!(:
Tris' POV
It is nighttime on New Year's Eve and I sit on the couch with Tobias, my legs resting in his lap and my head leaning against the armrest of the couch. My mom had to go to London yesterday for work and Caleb is out with Susan. Tobias and I invited our friends over for our very own tiny New Year's Party and they should be here at any moment.
Tobias begins to run his hand up my leg provocatively, dragging me out of my thoughts. He continues to stare at the TV, trying to act innocent but I know better.
"Tobias," I say, warningly.
"Yes?" He answers innocently.
"Stop it. Our friends are coming over soon," I chastise him.
He gives me a mischievous, bad-boy look and grabs me by my hips, dragging me into his lap. I throw a leg to either side of him, straddling him. Frankly, it's a position I find myself in quite frequently with him.
He grins wickedly before leaning up and roughly crushing his lips to my own. I sigh, knowing that giving in will only encourage him to do things like this but honestly, I don't have the willpower to resist. I give up immediately and kiss him back eagerly.
But then there's a knock on the door.
"Damn," Tobias mutters.
"I told you," I murmur, getting up and walking to the front door. I swing it open and our friends trickle in, taking seats around the room. I shut the front door and sit down on the couch beside Tobias.
"I propose Truth or Dare," Uriah says immediately.
"Dude, we just sat down and you're already on that?" Will asks.
"I'm game!" Zeke shouts. The rest of us sigh but agree and we form a circle in the floor after moving the coffee table.
"I'll go first. Zeke, truth or dare?" Uriah inquires.
"Dare," Zeke replies instantly.
"I dare you to pair up with a member of the opposite sex. You two are a happy couple about to have your first baby. Choose another person to act as your doctor. For the next 3 minutes you must act out a birth scene, complete with yelling, consoling, and the doctor giving orders," Uriah demands.
"That's like a complete life story, jeez. Okay, Shauna, it looks like you're about to have a baby. And Uri, you have to be the doctor," Zeke chooses.
"I don't think I'm okay with this," Shauna mumbles.
"Too bad, babe," Zeke says with a grin.
"How about you be the one having the baby since this is your dare?" Shauna demands.
"Fine," Zeke grudgingly agrees. He lays on the couch and props his feet on the armrests of the couch. Shauna stands to the side of him, gripping his hand. Uriah stands between Zeke's legs.
"It hurts!" Zeke shrieks in a girly voice. I can't hold in my laughter already and I try to press my lips together to muffle it.
"It's okay baby, it'll be over soon," Shauna replies in a deep soothing voice.
"YOU DID THIS TO ME!" Zeke screams in a high pitch voice.
"I see the head! There's a lot of blood down here. Somebody give me a vacuum to get rid of some of this blood!" Uriah, being the doctor, says.
"You don't use vacuums during birth!" Shauna yells at Uriah, maintaining her manly voice. Everyone else in the room not involved in this dare is rolling around, no longer able to contain their laughter.
"GET THIS DEMON OUT OF ME!" Zeke screeches.
"Do not call our baby a demon!" Shauna yells.
"Don't yell at the patient!" Uriah demands.
"I HATE YOU ALL!" Zeke screams.
"How do you even deliver a baby!? Do I just rip it out or what?" Uriah inquires.
"You don't know how to deliver a baby!? You're the doctor here!" Shauna shrieks in her man voice.
"I never got an education! Give me a vacuum, I'll just put it in reverse and attach it to the baby's head and suck the baby out of the womb!" Uriah says.
"I CAN'T TAKE MUCH MORE! I HATE WHAT YOU DID TO ME!" Zeke yells in his girl voice.
"It'll be okay," Shauna murmurs, patting his forehead.
"Wait, I think I see feathers! It's half human, half duck!" Uriah says with fake awe while groping Zeke's legs.
"What are you even talking about anymore!?" Shauna says, trying not to laugh.
"I got it, I got it!" Uriah screeches while pulling a giant rubber duck out of nowhere. "Oh, maybe it's just a full duck. I swear I though I saw a human head," He says with a confused face.
"Look at our beautiful baby," Zeke says, fake panting.
"What are you talking about? It's ugly and all bloody," Uriah says with disgust, tossing the rubber duck across the room.
"MY BABY!" Shauna shrieks in her deep man voice.
"Aaaand three minutes are up," Zeke says laughing, getting up off the couch. They all sit back down while the rest of us try to stop laughing.
"Will, truth or dare?" Zeke asks.
"Truth. I can't handle a dare after that," Will replies, chuckling.
"Which one of your friends do you think will never get a boyfriend/girlfriend?" Zeke inquires.
"Well, honestly, I'm surprised that you and Uriah manage to have girlfriends," Will answers.
"Hey!" Zeke and Uriah shout simultaneously. Will just shrugs and everyone laughs.
"Marlene, truth or dare?" Will asks.
"I dare you to choose one opposite sex person to go into a closet and let this person take off as much of your clothes as they can, using only their teeth, for 2 minutes," Will dares.
Marlene takes off her shirt, "No thanks." Uriah pouts at her and she laughs at him.
"Tris, truth or dare?" Marlene asks.
"Dare," I say.
"Demonstrate your favorite sexual position with a player of your choice," Marlene says.
I look to my left and see Tobias. He raises his eyebrows and grins wickedly. I blush furiously and yank my shirt off quickly, exposing a white tank top. "Hell no," I mutter.
"Party pooper!" Uriah yells.
With my face still completely red, I squeak out, "Christina, truth or dare?"
"Dare!" She replies confidently.
"I dare you to let someone draw tattoos on your ass," I say, blurting out the first dare that comes to mind.
She sighs but stands up. I throw a sharpie at her and she hands it to Will. She shimmies her shorts down just enough so that only Will can see her butt. He begins to draw stuff, smiling to himself. When he's done, he pulls her shorts back up for her.
"You have to show us!" Uriah requests.
"What! Why?" Christina demands.
"So we have proof that it happened."
"Fine," Christina mumbles. Will pulls her shorts down just enough for us to see that he drew a Christmas tree.
"Why a Christmas tree, dude?" Tobias asks.
Will shrugs, "I couldn't think of anything."
Everyone sits back down and Christina says, "Four, truth or dare?"
"Dare," Tobias replies instantly.
"Drink soda out of Tris' belly button."
"What! Why must you involve me?" I demand.
Christina raises her eyebrows, "Would you rather he did it to someone else?"
I sigh. She's got a point. Tobias walks into the kitchen and comes back holding a soda. I lay down on the floor and pull my tank top up, just under my bra.
Tobias kneels beside me and dribbles a little bit of soda into my belly button. I feel the cold liquid running down my sides. Tobias leans down and sucks on my skin, effectively ridding it of the stinky substance. Instinctively, I thread my hands through his dark brown hair. Even after all the soda is gone from my body, he continues to suck and nibble on my skin. My breathing hitches and I feel his smile against my skin.
"Well, someone got more daring," Zeke says, grinning. Tobias sits up and pulls my tank top back down for me.
"I don't want to play anymore," I say breathily. Tobias looks over at me and grins mischievously. I shake my head at him with a small smile ghosting my face.
"It's almost midnight anyway. We can watch the ball drop in Times Square," Christina says, turning on the TV and switching it to the right channel.
I check the time and see that it's two minutes to midnight. I sit on the couch and drag Tobias up beside me. By the time everyone gets situated, the countdown begins on the TV.
When the countdown reaches one, everyone screams, "Happy New Year!"
I turn to Tobias and press my lips to his with a smile. He places a hand on the nape of my neck and holds my mouth to his as he kisses me back.
After a few blissful moments, I pull away. "Happy New Year," I whisper with my mouth a breath's away from his.
"The first of many with you," He murmurs with a smile before once again pressing his lips to my own.
A/N: Well, I hope you guys liked that! I have to admit, I laughed a lot while writing certain parts of this chapter. Please spare a moment and review, it would mean so much to me! How about this – If you leave a decent review and you mention that you want this, I'll send you what I have of my book so far (which is only about 400 words, sorry). But I love you guys, thank you so much for all your encouraging reviews and PM's and kiks! They mean the world to me, honestly! One more chapter to go of this story! I love all of y'all, you're the best people ever.(:
