Ginger
Okay, reader, I'll admit, having Honey gone, was pretty scary. But what was even more scary was who exactly was my partner. Sure, Coconut had to take Licorice. Who did I get stuck with, you ask? The one dog that really needs to get into reality, Sugar.
Sugar and I walked only half a block before she was panting like a dog about to have heatstroke. "Whoa, Sugar! What's up with you?" I asked. She looked up. "Like, too much, like, walking. Can we, like, stop? My, like, fabulous is, like, running out." Sugar panted. She maybe a nut, but I couldn't help but to feel bad for her. So, I let her rest for a while. Suddenly, we heard this scream. "Like, what was that?" Sugar asked. I tried to listen where the echo was coming from. "It was a scream, Sugar. Where did it sound like it came from?" I asked her. "Like, how should I know. I'm, like, pretty not smart." "Again, how did I get you as my partner?" I asked her. She shrugged. I thought of the scream again. "It sounded like it came from…from… the cave up there!" I exclaimed. [You said you figured it out? Come on, Sugar! You can barely hear what I have to say!] Anyways, so we ran all the way to the rock to tell everyone what we heard, but sadly, no one was there. "Great! Perfect! No one's here! What should we do?" I asked. "Like, I don't know! I'm like too fabulous to know." I slapped my paw on my face. Then, an idea hit me. "Let's get to the top of the mountain! It has such a good view! Maybe we'll find them!" I told Sugar. All she did was frown. "Is there, like, a lot of, like, walking?"
Once we got to the top of the mountain, Sugar and I looked down. We could barely see anything, because for some reason, a large blanket of fog rolled in. "Great! Even better! What can we do now? We can't find the others, plus, there's fog in the air!" I screamed. "I, like, know! The, like, fog is, like, ruining my hair!" Sugar complained. I turned around to find the mouth of the cave. "Whoa! That's huge!" I awed. Sugar looked at the cavern, then frowned. "It, like, looks dirty." Sugar complained. "Oh my gosh! Really?" I asked sarcastically. She gave me her cute-but-dangerous face. "Come on, Sugar, spice, and everything nice, let's go inside, after all, this is where we heard the scream." I told her, so we walked in.
There was only three word to explain about this cavern, dark, cold, and damp. It felt like a horror movie scene, where the girl is just walking, then, out of nowhere, the murderer jumps out, and takes the girl away. [Knock it off, guy! That movie totally freaked me out!] Anyways, Sugar and I walked around, not really knowing where we were going. Then, Sugar stopped. "What's wrong, Sugar?'' I asked. Since she's a dog, she has a great sense of smell. "Like, Honey was, like, here. I can, like, tell." She exclaimed. "Great! So, which way did she go?" I asked. Suddenly, there was a scream. This time, it came from Sugar. I tried looked at her, but she wasn't there. I saw a huge opened trapdoor where she stood. "Well, you know what they say!" I told myself. "Desperate times call for desperate measures." Then, I jumped into the darkness.
