Chapter 6:
A/N: Thank you to Amber Esme Hermione for reviewing. I never thought of that before. But as I was thinking of it, just because there was no Voldemort, doesn't mean that there wouldn't be the people who think that Muggleborns are scum. Voldemort was an extra ultra extremist who would go with any means to get rid of muggleborns. Sirius' family also agreed that muggleborns were dirt. I might completely contradict what I am saying now, and use his family as good people, just so that I have a filler to use at some point, but , who knows? Also, thanks to Wolf Patronus for reviewing, I'm glad you like it. Thanks again for the reviews.
Thank you Bell X3, Wolf Patronus, and MrBCShelly30 for following, and Wolf Patronus and Bell X3 for favoriting.
For any of you that had read the last chapter, as of 3/9/14, and had a difficult time following it, I accidentally formatted it wrong on the Dox Manager, so it was all smooshed together. Thanks Amber Esme Hermione for pointing that out to me, so I had gone back and fixed it.
Thanks so much to The RavenclawGem for reviewing on this, and she is the main reason that this is getting written, I have been having a hard time writing, and her review motivated me to get this up.
I am going to try my hardest to get a new chapter up every 1-2 weeks. NO PROMISES, BUT I WILL TRY! Also, would you rather have short chapters often, or longer chapters less often
Chapter 6: The train ride
"Come on mom, we're going to be late!" Hermione Granger said, as she was hurriedly putting her bags into the trunk of their car.
"No we won't. The train doesn't leave for another 45 minutes. It only takes 20 minutes to get to king's cross, and that will give you about 25 minutes to get settled on the train. Ok, Calm down." Her mom said, attempting to calm her down.
"Ok, fine." Hermione said as she got into the back seat of the car. Mr and Mrs Granger then sat down in the front seat. "I'm just so excited to be going to Hogwarts! I've been reading up on my textbooks, and there is so much to learn in this year, and even more later!"
"Calm down, or you might just fly through the roof!" said, chuckling to himself.
Finally, they got to the train station, and hermione jumped out of the car, and started to get everything out of the car.
"Hermione, what platform is the train coming to?" Mrs. Granger asked
"Um, Platform 9 and 3/4" Hermione replied.
"Are you sure that's right?" Mr. Granger asked.
"Yeah, that's what it says." Hermione said, looking at her ticket.
"Well, let's go ask someone" Mr. Granger suggested.
"Do you see them anywhere?" Harry asked his parents.
"There they are!" Lily said, waving her arms to get The Weasley's attention. It just so happened that the Longbottoms were with them too. The groups walked towards each other, and met half way.
"Hey Ron, Neville. Are you guys as excited as I am to finally go to Hogwarts!" Harry asked them.
"Yeah, I can't wait!" Ron said,
"Same." Neville replied.
The big group walked together, creating a lot of weird looks, as they had 6 carts with trunks, and two of which had an owl and one had a frog. They were heading to platform 9 and 3/4, a magical platform that was where the Hogwarts express was taking off. When they got to the platform between 9 and 10, Ron's brother Percy went first, but not before adjusting his prefect badge. Next, Fred and George Ron, and he was followed by his mother, father, and Ginny, the latter was wishing that she could go to Hogwarts this year. Neville followed them, with his parents right behind. Harry went after Alice and Frank, with James and Lily taking up the rear.
When they got on to the platform, Harry and Neville were looking around in awe, at the red train, and all of the people with different pets, and They could see sparks flying through the air, undoubtedly caused by Fred and George. As the two boys were standing there, looking stupid with their mouths hung open, Harry noticed that Ron was looking at them, and was biting his lip trying not to laughing.
"What are you laughing at?" Harry demanded
"Your faces!" Ron exclaimed, finally giving up not laughing.
"What do you mean?" Harry asked. When Ron didn't answer, Harry just whacked him on his head, and walked to the train. James, who was watching them, laughed, and when Ron glared at him, laughed even harder. Nevill sniggered, and followed Harry to the train. When Molly started to walk towards Ron, he grabbed his trunk, and rushed towards Harry and Neville.
"See you later Mum!" He yelled over his shoulder. The three boys walked down the train corridor, looking for an empty compartment. At the last compartment, there was only a girl with big, bushy brown hair with her nose in a text book.
"This looks like the best that we will get." Harry said, opening the door. The girl looked up from her book. "All the other compartments are full." Harry explained. "Could we sit in here?"
"Sure." The girl said. "My name is Hermione. Hermione Granger. And you are...?"
"Oh, I'm Harry. Harry Potter. This is Neville Longbottom" He said, pointing at the boy in question. "And that is Ron Weasley."
"Nice to meet you." She said, looking at all three of them. "Oh, by the way, Ron, you have a bit of dirt on your nose." Ron felt the heat going up into his cheeks as he rubbed at his nose. Harry and Neville laughed at their friend's flustered appearance. The compartment door opened again, and a tall boy with bright blue hair came in.
"Hey Teddy!" Harry, Neville, and Ron said at the same time.
"Can I join you guys?" Teddy asked
"Sure!" They all said in unison. Teddy sat down between Harry and Neville, and across from Hermione and Ron.
During the rest of the train ride, the five soon- to- be first years discussed their family, and their dreams for after Hogwarts. Laughing all the way
There it is! Finally updated. If you go back to chapter 1, I added in Teddy, and the fact that Remus and Dora are married. In the reviews, tell me if Hermione should like the four boys, or if she should get annoyed by the pranks that they will pull?
