Lucy POV
"Right, training begins now." Minerva said, appointing herself as the 'leader' of our supposed group. "We'll be training using the same schedule we have used for the past few years when we near the GMG." She told us, while everyone but me nodded at her, then slightly separated to talk to some other teammates. She seemed satisfied with their responses nonetheless and she herself went off.
When I had settled into Sting and Rogue's place, Jiemma had decided to bring the training forward and was held two days after I had joined. Then we had to decide where we could go to train. We wanted to train in an open yet enclosed area and thought of going to the beach, but then we decided against it. After much thought, we all agreed to go to the forest by the border of a neighboring town. After an hour of traveling and two sick dragon slayers later, we made it here.
I was left confused by the 'training schedule'. I nudged the person closest to me with my elbow, that person happening to be Sting. "So what exactly is our training schedule?" I asked, barely above a whisper, knowing that he could hear me with his dragon hearing.
"We're going to be sparring with each other." Sting replied, smirking his signature smirk in the process.
"Oh, really now?" I raised an eyebrow at him.
"But then again, we only get to spar with one other person each. So basically if one wants to fight the other, they both have to agree, or one has to start beating the ass of the other first. No questions asked." He told me, casually shrugging.
A split second later, he seemed to get a thought in his head and smirked even more than before.
I then got an idea myself. And I knew it was the same thing he was thinking.
"You're going down Stingy Bee." I voiced my thoughts.
That was the thing about him and me. We were always competitive as kids and I guess it stuck.
"Not if you go down first." He replied. That cocky little man-child.
"Looks like we know who will be sparring first." Rufus commented, bringing everyone's attention on us.
I laughed, "Hell yea we are."
Everyone cleared out a space for us and Rufus stood nearest to us.
I am not happy with this chapter. I really wanted to make this longer, but I forgot that on Wednesday I had a sports AND council meeting. Then I thought that I would be free today, but I had to go for the National Basketball Finals and I just got home.
Summary;
The boys got second and the girls got first! Was really fun and pretty nerve racking. (We scored a three pointer at the last 3 seconds, winning by 1!) AND there will be a fight next chapter!
But I promised that I would update today, so I gave what I had.
