The battles were, once again boring and expected.
Toby vs. Kurohebi. Kurohebi won.
Elfman vs. Bacchus. Elfman won.
Mira vs. Jenny was pretty entertaining though. Mira won.
"And for the final battle of the day! Kagura Mikazuchi of Mermaid Heel versus Yukino Aguria! Unfortunately, Yukino has been badly injured and is not able to battle. Her replacement, however, will be Frost Ookami of Sabertooth!" a judge announced.
I smirked under my hood. This might just be what I need to reach my peak.
I jumped over the railing like always, landing on the battleground. "Only ice." Rufus had told me the other day, "Use the others only when absolutely necessary.
Kagura and I stood facing each other, her standing in a fighting stance, as I stood there, unmoving.
"Fight!"
I sent ice her way and watched as she easily jumped to the side, avoiding the attack completely. I sent more at higher speeds, and she stretched out her hand and I felt a heavy weight pushing me downwards. Secretly, I changed the air around me to protect myself from the magic. The gravity change also forced all my ice to the ground.
I couldn't help but smile under my hood. She was stronger than the average mage, much so that I might have to use a stronger tiered spell.
I still stood unmoving, making ice shoot up from the ground, taking her by surprise and hurting her badly.
"Tch," she spat at the ground as she got hit with another move that would not be affected by gravity. "You stay unmoving and still, yet you can damage me so much. Who are you?" she choked in pain, as I momentarily stopped my attacks to let her speak and to think of how I should answer her.
"Who I am should not concern you, Kagura-san," I said softly, but with confidence, "But if you really want to know, then I will tell you this. I am nothing but a proud mage of Sabertooth." I finished, as I stretched out my hand to finish this off.
"Sheer Cold." I cast, layers of ice started to form around her, encasing her until her whole body was covered in ice.
"Shatter" I said, as the ice broke into pieces, piercing into her skin, as she screamed in agony.
"Gomenosai, Kagura-san" I apologized quickly, before finishing off the second tier spell with a simple "Stain." And the ice shards melted into salt water, burning her wounds, making her faint from the pain.
"The winner is Frost Ookami of Sabertooth!" The judge announced, the crowd cheering loudly, medics rushing in to give medical attention.
"All guild may now return to your hotels and rest for the day-kabo!" Mato said, as all of us dispersed and started to go back to our rooms.
"I'm going to check up on Yuki and Kagura," I told my team, not waiting for their approval, I went off, brisk walking to the infirmary.
I lightly knocked on the door of Kagura's room and walked in with light steps. As I walked in, Kagura was sat up on her bed and looking out the window. I walked towards her and stood by her bed, my hand stretched out, ready to start healing her.
"Frost-san? What are you doing here?" She asked, her eyes widened slightly in shock when she finally realized I was here.
"I am responsible for your pain and wounds. So I will be the one responsible to heal you." I said, my voice monotonous, just like how Rogie would usually speak.
She seemed slightly taken aback at my tone and at how I was willing to be responsible. I started to heal some of her smaller wounds, working my way up to the more major wounds once I was done with them. Soon enough, only some cuts and small bruises were left.
"T-thank you, Frost-san" she bowed slightly, still sitting up from her bed.
I smiled. "No need for thanks, Kagura-san." I replied, as made my way out, "And Kagura-san?" I turned, as I was about to go out the door. "Good luck in the rest of the games. And rest well." I closed the door behind me as I heard a "Thank you, you too." And I could finally go and see Yuki-chan.
Oh. My. Freaking. God. I, am so sorry. I realize how late this is, and I am sorry. :c Honestly, I had written this chapter last week, but I wanted to make it longer! But then I had to teach 10 year olds that visited my school how to play volleyball and basketball! That dragged out for a really long time too.
-_- My classmates have also been putting me in a bad mood, and I was still in a bad mood when I come home. Apparently, 'Only playing two sports and not passing all your exams is pathetic and you should go die in a fire.' I am so done. ._. My class really hates my guts sometimes. But oh well, what can ya' do?
Side note- I got my ears pierced yesterday! How cool is that?!

The main reason I posted this with a short amount of words is that I wan to –no, WILL- re-write my first few chapters! I realized how confusing it is to new readers, and it was confusing to me when I read through it too.
EVERYTHING WILL BE ON PAUSE UNTIL CHAPTERS ARE RE WRITTEN.
This chapter included. I'm good at editing things, but not that good at writing, so this is my way of improving this story!
