ACTION right here enjoy...
Ever since that encounter with those humans back at base camp our 5 little gnomes hadn't stopepd moving for anything, at least not til nightfall when it was too dark to see, but without being at home they were cold and it proved to be terrible living outside the garden they were so used to, afterall they were garden gnomes, not jungle gnomes. This world was so strange and yet mystical to them who knows what they were going to see or do. But they were all still very worried.
"I wonder if were ever gonna get back home" Jake said in his mind
"This is so horrible" Violet said in thoughts.
"I wonder how mum and dad are doing? do they even know we're gone yet!" Tyler said as well in his head.
They were all so miserable and upset, but they were still determined to get back home where they belonged, no matter what. The gnomes were still walking through the jungle all alone without food or shelter water and only their wits, a map and each other. But seeing as how they had no experience with jungle conditions they were not very orepared for ost things they would endure.
"We've been walking forever!" Violet whines.
"My feet are breaking off!" Jake complains trudging at the back of the pack,
"Can we please rest for a moment Jr. I'm dying" Tyler said panting and sweating.
"Fine a few more minuets and then we can rest!" He turned back to his siblings
"Hey Jr. where does it say we go now!" Jake said aching to keep up.
Jr. was looing at the map while leading and not really paying attention to where he was heading. "Hmm, looks like we keep going until we..." Then his voice trailed off. Jr. slipped and fell into a mudslide that carried him off downhill as the others not paying attention either sipped and slided rght after him as well, they slid right into an extra deep thick, gooey pit of mud at the bottom of the hill.
"Gross, I hate mud!" Vanessa complained.
"Funny, the mud makes you look better from what you really look like" Violet tells her and vanessa splatters mud in her eyes a little, then they begin this whole mud wrestling thing as the boys watch.
"Jake check it out, dirty cat fight!" Tyler said with a smirk pointing to the girls.
"Meow!" Jake made cat noises in respone as the 2 cracked up.
Jr. somewhat glared to them and shook his head."Guys forget the mud, we gotta keep going, so KNOCK IT OFF!" JR. yelled as they all got out the mud still coated in it.
They went back to traveling, baking in the hot sun the mud had set in and gotten them al dirty, itchy and attactive insects to them.
"Ow, ouch..Ugh, I'd kill for bugspray right now!" Violet snapped swatign at misquitoes attacking her.
"Let's take a break guys!" Jr. insists and they instanly collapes on the dirt from exhaustion.
"Oh look at us we're all dirty and sweaty and covered in mud and bugs" Vanessa said In disgust, at herself.
"We gotta clean ourselves off. If I have to smell you all any longer I'm gonna puke" Tyler said getting nausious.
"Find we'll clean off in the creek" Jr. said, The boys took one side of the river and the girs took the other in private. They all wrapped up in leaves and went back to their clothes.
"Guys we can't put these back on" Vanessa said holding up her soiled dress. "They smell terrible" She said tossing it back down
"Do you expect us to walk around naked!" Violet said to her.
"No, we can just find something eles to wear" She said back to her.
"These are our only clothes. We didn't exactly plann to be carried off into the junge you know" Tyler said sarcastically
"Why don't we just was wash our cothes in the river" Jake said using common sence unlike them all. They all walked back to the river with their muddy clothes.
"Uhm you guys go ahead, I'll be right back" Vanessa said ducking into some bushes.
"There nice and clean" Jake said.
"Yeah but now there soaked. We can't put them on yet still" Violet huffed ringing her dress dry and vanessas
"Now what!?" Tyler moaned.
"Hey guys!" They all heard vanessas' voice and walked behind the bushes to find her wearing a purple flower bikini top and flower petal skirt bottom held together with grass blades, and she had a flower headband placed on her head, They all dropped their mouths open.
"Vanessa what are you wearing?" Jr. asked.
"Like it I made it from flowers and grass weaves" She said.
"Oh so you made you something, but were all still naked" Violet said covering herself with a big leaf.
"I have that covered, I made you some too" She said passing out their temporary clothes she made them.
Violet had on a flower bikini top like vanessas only with white flowers and her skirt was all made from woven grass and she had a oink fower braclet around her arm. The boys clothes were all grass skirts like hula dancers wear and their regular white shirts they wore.
"We look so stupid!" Tyler said.
"Please, it's only till our clothes are dry" Vanessa said. "Beside those skirts suit you guys quite well" Violet joked laughing with vanessa.
"Haha hilarious" Jr. said stomping past them. "Let's keep moving please" Jr. said walking away from them
"We haven't even taken a break yet like you promised" Vanessa complained. "Besides I'm humgry!" She clutched her stomach as it rumbed and roared. Her siblings stomachs could be heard too.
"Vanessas right, I'm starving!" Violet said.
"Us too!" Jake and tyler groaned
Even jr. admited he was getting hungry. "Fine we find snacks to eat and then we keep going" Jr. said.
"Where do we find snacks out here!" Jake said.
"Fruit! Fruit grows on trees we can find some apples or mangos or something to eat I'm sure" Jr. said. "Just look for trees with fruits on them ok!"
"Oh yeah that shouldn't be too hard there's only a gazillion trees in this jungle to look from" Violet said.
Jr. huffed. "Well violet you could just not eat when we find someting if, that' how you want it to be" Jr. said making her close her mouth for a while
They 5 of them searched and searched and searched even more but they couldn't find a single tree with fruit, not evn a sign of one.
"I give up, we must've looked at a thousand trees alread y and I can't find one thing" Tyer said resting on a tree trunk.
"Well at least we covered more ground during then so that's a good thing right" Jake tried to smile but the others weren't.
"Jake, that doesn't put food in our aching stomachs does it" Violet said shoving him out her path.
"Forget it we might as well just lie in the dirt and wait till our hunger starves us from the inside out and kills us" Tyler got dramtic and lyed in the dirt like he was dead.
"Thanks for that captain bringdown" Jake rolled his eyes.
"Fine if your all so sure of that" Jr. said. "Vanessa what do you think?!" He asked but she said nothing/
"Vanessa?! He looked to his siblings and she wasn't there. "Where'd she go!?"
"We must've lost her, she's so quiet she coud be anywhere?" Tyer said looking around.
"Vanessa, lost in the jungle, that can only mean trouble" Violet said.
"C'mon we gotta find her before something happens to her" Jr. said as they walked back the way they came to try and find her.
"Vanessa!" they called her. No answer
"Vanessa!" Still no response.
"BIG BABY WHERE ARE YOU?!" Violet screamed to the sky as it echoed a little. They looked all over and coudn't find her anwhere.
"Wait I think I saw something!" Tyler paused as he saw the bushes rustle and move and a small animal cralwed out. with lots of colorful rainbow feathers and a curved poitnted beak
"Oh it's just a parrot" Jr. said calmly.
"But look what he's holding!" Tyler pointed out, caught in the parrots beak was a small flower headbane, the same one vanessa had on her head.
"That's vanessas headband!" tyler said getting closer to it, it appered to have a clump of brown hair with it. "And it has her hair in it" He said again.
"You know, I read once that wild parrots can be very dangerous from times!" jake said getting scared.
"Do you know what this means!" Tyler said.
"That parrot did something to vanessa"
"I seriously doubt that guys!" Jr. said.
"Vanessa may be weak but even she can handle a bird!" Violet snapped in annoyance.
"No, she's gone forever, and it's not fair she was soo young and innocnet" Tyler said overdramatically. They were really verthinking this whole thing.
Jr. and violet looked to each other and shook their heads, until the bushes started moving again and they saw vanessa pop out alright, only the top of her hair looked like it had been cut ans ripped a little.
Vanessa walked up to the boys and landed at their feet. "Hey boys why so sad?!" She looked down and waved to them.
"Vanessa!" Tyer and jake said happily hugging her.
"Hey guys did you happen to see a parrot fly by with my headband, he ripped it off my head!" Vanessa cried scrathcing her scalp.
"Oh we though something happened to you!"
"But as you can see I'm perfectly fine and well" She said to them. "And..." She went back to the bush and pulled out a big leaf of mangoes, peaches, coconuts and grapes. "I got us food" She annonced.
"ALRIGHT!" They went right to work chewing it all down. "Nessa*gulp*your the best" Tyler said dripping mango juice.
"Where'd you find all these fruits"
"That parrot who stole my headband lead me right to a big tree with fruits when I chased after it" Vanessa said shoving grapes down her throat.
"You did good little sis" Jr. said.
"Yeah, you're not as worthless as I thought" Violet said.
"Alright snacks times over let's get going already" Jr. said, the others finished off their fruits and started walking, now that they had energy in their bodies they could walk forever.
"Where to next captain" Vanessa said to her brother.
They checked the map. "Still looks like we have...Ugh! 40 miles more to go before we reach the edge" Jr. huffed
'40 more!" Jake huffed.
"Great that should only take a week and a half to go through" Violet crossed her arms.
"Hey c'mon guys, I bet the more positive we are the sooner it will be over, what do you say!' Vanessa said, trying to be the brighter one here.
"Not helping nessa" Violet said walking away with Jr. Vanessa sighed, she disliked violet but she also wished violet would be nice to her like a sister should be.
"She's got a point Violet, let's just get moving already!"
"Gosh this jungle heat is unbearable" Jake said panting like a dog.
"Tell me about it, I feel like I'm baking in a hot oven, that was thrown into a sauna, that's on fire, in the heart of a volcano, on the sun!" Tyler went a little overboard with the descriptions.
"Tyler keep up already!" Vanessa said. Tyler was way behind the rest, like way behind.
"I'm doing fine talking leprachaun" Tyler said acting like a wacko
Jr. stopped in his tracks."What!?" Jr. said confused. "Tyler it's me, Jr." He corrected him.
Tyler was squinting his eyes against the heat and laughing like a wiredo. "No you're not, Jr isn't a leprachaun he's a garden gnome like the rest of us" Tyler said. He was swaying back and forth and talking gibberish. He started prancing around all goofy and the others were a little creeped out by that.
"What's wrong with him!?" Violet said.
"I think the heat's making him see things!" Vanessa whispered to him. "Isn't that right tyler?" She said shouting in slow motion to him.
Tyler took one look at his sisters and gasped with a weird grin. "Whoa violet, vanessa when did you two turn into a princesses?" Tyler said all crazy-like.
"What are you talking about nitwit!?" She eyebrowed him. In tylers head he was seeing Violet and Vanessa as princesses, with shiny gowns and tiara's and lots of jewels on their arms.
"Tyler are you feeling okay?" Jake said worried about him.
"I'm great jake, you're such a great little sister to me" Tyler mistaked jake for a girl, that was proof he was hallucinating from the heat.
"I think the heat's finally gotten to his head" Jake whispered making that cuckoo noise and swirling his hands.
"Yeah, Me too I feel like somethings breathing on me!" Vanessa said wiping sweat off her head, as she was walking she could'e sworn she felt as if something was heavily breathing on her.
"Does anyone hear something?" Vanessa asked.
"Here wh-wh-whaaa..." Jr. tunred around and was stunned when he saw it as were the rest when they tunred around.
"Why do you all look that way?!" Vanessa asked.
"Uh vanessa" Jake whimpered shaking hard.
Vanessa tunred around and saw a blur of fuzzy orange and thin black stripes, her eyes moved upwards as they stopped on a set of razor sharp fangs and teeth, and a large mouth that made a terrible snarling, growling noise. the last thing she saw was a thick pair of big and thin angry green eyes. Shivers went down her spine and she teembled like a helpless baby, she had come face to face with a giant, ferocious 400lb. bloody tiger
"Uh, Ahh..." Vaness tried to scream but was stopped when Violet ran and covered her mouth, dragging her back to the others.
"Don't yell you make him angry" Violet whisper snapped letting vanessa go.
"Don't...move...a muscle!" Jr. whispered, but they were all to scared to even think about moving. They were all grouped back to back, Jr. was standing his guard to protect his siblings, violet was holding onto his shoulders, Vanessa was queitly whimpering in fear and tyler and jake were shaking and jittering.
The tiger was slowly creeping it's thin cat eyes to each of them, waiting for either of them to make the slightest expression and then...ATTACK. It's claws kept digging into the rocky dirt, kicking up bits of dirt that blew threw the air hitting jake in the face.
"A-A-A-A-CHOO!" Jake sneezed, startling his siblings. "*Sniffs* Excuse me" He whispered nervously as they all glared to him.
There attention was drawn eleswhere and the tiger made his move, he came racing towards the unsuspecting victims knowing they couldn't react in time.
"Jr. WATCH OUT!" Jake saw and warned his brother as He jumped outta the way as did the rest of them.
"Whoa! thanks jake I owe you one!" Jr. shouted to him.
Missing the target, The tiger tunred around and came back for another strike.
"Guys this is no time for that we gotta move" Violet snapped as they all kicked it into double time.
The ran behind A large tree just as the tiger swung it's claws down and ripped right through cutting off the top layer of the tree bark.
"Whoa did you see that!" Jake said looking around the tree.
"That's gonna be you if you don;t get moving already!" Tyler said yanking him by the arm and running away.
They ran through the tall grass next, it seemed to work for a few minuets as the tall grass was perfect for small gnomed to hide in. "I think were safe,he can't see us in the grass" Jr. said relaxing for a moment, they were safe for the moment. But their luck ran out fast, it wasn't long until the tiger spotted a blur of purple hats hidden inside green grass, a dead giveaway to them. Tiger let out a fearsome growling roar.
"Uh, I think he found us" Vanessa shrieked with a mouse voice.
"RUN!" They all yelled and once again went running,
"Split up guys he can't catch all of us then" Jr. said they all went off in 5 diffrent directions, the Tiger stopped trying to see who to go after but lost them all again.
"Vanessa! Where is she?" Jr. said worried.
"She's still out there, in the grass with a tiger on her tail" Jake said getting afraid.
"We have to find her!" Jr. said as he and the boys looked through the grass for any sign of her.
"No way, there's a carniverous blood thristy tiger out there" Violet said refusing to go.
"Violet are sisters out there we have to get her!" Jr. said sternly.
"Or we could let her defend herself for once and maybe she'll get some thicker skin like the rest of us and stop being such a baby" Violet said in debate with him.
"Defend herself! Against a giant tiger"
"Hey, big challenges are good for building character" Violet smirked
"She'll be mauled to death for sure!" Tyler said worried.
"One less pain to worry drag around then" She rolled her eyes, with a grin.
Before either could say anything they heard crushing and rustling of grassblades and they all gasped with fear. "Oh no the tiger..he found us" Jake said as they all huddled together side by side in fear. They expected for the tiger to jump out and attack them but what really came through the grass was a weary and tired vaness, she looked pale and terrified and looked as if the tiger had almost gotten to her.
"Guys!" She said in panic and joy. "Thank goodness I found you!" She was panti g and racing towards them
"Vanessa!" The boys called racing to meet her, while violet took her sweet time. "So much for that happy thought" She pouted to herself.
"We're so glad your safe" Jake said grabbing her waist.
"Yes, I'm smiling on the inside!" Violet said crossing her arms
"There you guys are I amlost got ripped to pieces" She said freaking out "Where you guys even trying to look for me?!" She said mad.
"No they hadn't eben considered looking for you this whole time. I told them we should, but they were all to scared to move" Voilet said acting like the innocent one here.
"What!" The boys all yelled.
Violet moved closer to vanessa acting all sweet and nice with her "Yeah it's a sad would rather save their own butts than save yours, I was the one who was most concerned for you little sis" she said wrapping an arm to her startled sister. "Shame on you boys, not wanting to rescue your poor defensless sister, knowing how weak and vulnerable she was. Anything could've happened and you wouldn't have cared one way or another" Violet glared to them even though she was the one who didn't care, she was just playing for vanessas trust.
"Well thanks for your concern violet" Vanessa whimpered.
"What are big sisters for nessa" She did her sweet voice, hugging vanessa and shot a mischevious glare to the boys.
"Quick to the tree we'll be safe there" Jr, said swinging and grabbing branch after branch till he was high out of the tigers reach. The others were traling behind him.
"Can't he just climb the tree, tigers are cats you know" Tyler said to the rest of them.
"It's better than staying on the ground where you'll be easier to catch" Violet snapped climbing like a spider up the tree.
"Someone do something!" Tyler said.
"Like what It's a tiger moron, what do you want us to do lule it to sleep" Violet yelled breathing hard, even in times of crisis she found a way to snap at her siblings.
"Idk, but I do know is that I don't wanna become cat food today!" Tyler panted, looking as the tiger was gaining on them.
"AAAHHH!" She screamed moving as fast as her legs could carry her.
"Hurry up nessa, RUN, MOVE THOSE GIRLY LEGS OF YOURS!" Jake shouted.
Vanessa started up the tree a good distance off the gorund and was moving fast trying to manuver her way up to where the thers were, the tiger took one large leap and caught vanessa between his claws and brought her down to him.
"AAAAAHHHH, GUYS HELP!" Vanessa yelled and screamed as the tiger dragged her down the tree.
"Vanessa, No" Jr. said reaching out from where he was.
Vanessa screamed and kicked and freaked out in horro as the tigher kept clawing her downwards into his left nail clawings on the bark trying to slow down the dragging but her amrs finally gave away. The tiger shook vanessa around in it's mouth making her scream in pain, it was only seconds before she was killed.
"Oh what do we do, she's gonna get herself killed" Jake said covering his eyes in horror
"Works for me!" Violet mumbled laying back and watching the show.
"I know what to do!" Tyler grabbed a coconut right off his side and aimed. "*whistles* Hey tiger" He yelled down as the tiger looked upwards. "Claws off my sister!" Tyler took a shot and launched it right into the tigers eyes it let out a grolw making vanessa drop as she crawed on all fours right underneath it. "Ha take that you overgrown cat" Tyler mocked him. the tiger launched up the tree and swung it's claws snapping off a twig branch, just below where they were.
"Way to go tyler!" Vanessa called out, but that was a mistake the tiger focused it's green cat eyes on her once more. "Oh no!" She screamed running away as the tiger began the whole cat/mouse chase all over again.
"Take one for the team nessa" Violet shouted from the tree, she acted as if she didn't care one way or the other what happened to her sister.
Vanessa was so focused on the tiger she didn't see the path infront of her, she went tripping over a tree root and rolled on the dirt right into the base of a tree, getting a serious concusion for a moment or 2. Her disturbed vision could only make out a blur of orange and black, until she cousl see clearly enough to see the tiger was comign down on her, teeth bearing, claws pawning at the ground and ready to strike.
"N-n-nice tiger!" She said curling into a tight ball.
"I'm not dead?" She said looking to me
"Thanks for the rescue Jr." She said relived
"Uh vanessa!" She looked over her shoulder where the voice had come from to see Jr. with the rest of them sitting on a branch out of her reach.
She got confused. "But if Jr. didn't save me then who!" She looked up and saw a hairy arm holding onto hers
"Yipes!" She shrkeid frightening the monkey who was holding her, he gave her a swing and let her fly into the air through the tree. she caught a vine in mid flrigth and held on swinging down to a solid branch.
"First humans, then tigers and now monkeys, what's next?!" She said slapping her forhead.
The monkeys were swinging around all above and below the young gnomes heads. They shook the tree branches and rocked on vines making leaves and small berries fall from the tree's and onto their heads.
"These monkeys are kinda funny!" Jake said entertained with them.
"Yeah I guess you could say that..Ahh!" Violet got starlted when a monkey jumped right in her face hanging upside down on a vine. "What are you looking at hairly lips?" Violet said to it, not like it could understand her though. The monkey saw Violet had berry juice on her lips and used its bidgtounge to slurp it off her leaving her lips and most of her face in smelly drool.
"GROSS MONKEY COOTIES!" Violet freaked out, spitting and wiping her moth and tounge.
Jr, laughed out loud. "What's so funny?" Violet glared to him.
"Violet I always wondered who you first kiss would be with...I just assumed it would be with another gnome" Jr. joked making them all crack up in laughter.
"Hey at least there are guys who actually want to kiss me, unlike you!" She smirks to him.
"Oooohhh! She got you there Jr.!" Tyler said nudging his older brother who just rolled his eyes.
On top of another branch Vanessa was all by herself with monkey flying past her every which way, some of them wehre keeping their distance and just looking to her weird, they had never seen a gnome before, this close up before, just as none of them had seen monkeys close up before. A small baby monkey with a small patch of hair and huge ears came up to vanessa and held out his hand to her.
"You're a cute baby monkey" She cooed shaking it's extended hand. The moey hopped on her head and strarted picking at berries and bits that had fallen and stuck to ehr body, in a way he was grooming her. (monkeys like to pick bugs and stuff of each other you know. It's a fact)
"Hey that tickles!" Vanessa giggled as the baby monkey kept picking food off her and making her laugh, vanessa finally got him off her and stopped laughing.
"It's been fun getting to see real lives monkeys but I have to get going now" She said walking off, she flet something tug her arm back, the baby monkey hed her with a sad look, he didn't want her to go just yet. "Oh well I guess I can stay a bit longer" She said kneeling down to the monkey and petting his short fur. "Beside my siblings are having monkey time too" She looked to her siblings who were aslo surrounded by mokneys. Jake was hanging upside down on a vine with one of them making monkey sounds and scratching himself like real mokeys do while the rest were just laughing and looking.
Vanessa focused back to her baby monkey friend and he was climbing up a vine and looking down to her, She waved and the baby made gestures like he wanted her to come with him.
"Oh you wanna show me something...uhm, ok" She said climbing up to a higher branch on the tree, the mokey ducked behind some big leaves on a high branch that hung down like a curtain covering a window, vanessa walked behind it and her monkey friend was tucked away in a hollow hoe in the tree with grass and mud and leaves on the bottom on it, vanessa crawed on all four closer to it.
"Oh this is a lovely little place you made for yourself" She said patting her monkey. "I think I'll call you jojo" she said, jojo liked the name he was given he smiled at her with a monkey grin, then he started to yawn and curl himself up in his hole all comfy. "oh you must be getting tired" Vanessa gasped as jojo nodded like he understood her. "I should be going anyway, goodbye jojo, sweet dreams" She whispered tucking a leaf over her now sleeping monkey friend. She crawled backwards till she could stand up tall again and ducked back outside the leaves where she was frightened by a large mokey just outside there. It looked down to vanessa with a monkey look and then back to the leaves and vanessa stood there silently.
"I wouldn't go back there jojo's sleeping, don't wanna disturb him" She said in a whisper.
The large monkey bent down closer to her and reached out it's palm to her vanessa was confused for a moment. "Oh you're a friendly mokney arent's you" She grinned with a shake of her head a little.
"Whoa huh o-okay" Vanessa said startled. "Alright you can put me down now please" She said to the monkey holding her but it wasn't listening and just kept climbing up the tree. It shook her around bumping vanessa into smaller branches and hitting her head.
"I'm getting a concusion here" she groaned in pain feeling dizzy and nauseous.
The higher the monkey climbed with her the more vanessa got rocked aorund."Whoa okay I said you can put me down...down, down!" Vanessa shouts but he just keeps taking her higher and higher, they reach the very top of the branch where they could almost look over a large range of the forset and then some.
Vanessa saw how high she was and she got freaked out. "*Gulp* Help!" She said in a mouse shreik.
Back on the lower level of the tree within the thick layer of twisted branches and leaves, the 4 young gnomes were still enjoying their time interactign with their monke friends. "Hey guys look what I taugh bobo how to do?" Jake said naming his monkey bobo. "Alright bobo, show them what I taught you" Jake instructs. Bobo does a back flip while jake stands tall with his arm outstreched like a mini tree, Bobo jumps onto jake's shoulders and wraps his tail around one of his arms and stands on his tail in mid air.
"TA-DA!" Jake annonces, the others laught and applaud.
"Impressive little brother" Tyler smiled.
"Yeah didn't know you could train mokneys so fast" Violet grinned.
"He saw me do it and wanted to try himself, you know...Monkey see monkey do" He chuckled. Jake lost his balance with the monkey putting more wieght on one side of him, he fell over and off the tree branch but bobo caught him in mid drop. "Thanks bobo!" Jake put a thumbs up to him and bobo retunred it. Using his tail he flung jake back into the air as she shoot back up to the branch and colided on violets lap.
"Jake!" Violet snapped.
"What bobo did it!" Jake pointed to bobo who was shaking and giving that monkey smile, Violet grunted and flipped jake off of her.
Jr. laughed and stood up in the branch "Alright guys no more watching monkeys, we better start moving again, otherwise we'll be stuck here longer" He brushed off his hands and stepped over his siblings to the tree trunk going down.
"Awe please just a few more minuets" Jake pleads still hanging around, literally. He was hanging upside down on a branch.
"Yeah I could HANG around a bit more too" Tyler said hanging upide down with jake now too. They stared talking mokey noises and acting wild.
"You 2 are the real monkeys here" Jr. shook his head with a grin. A monkey came by Jr. and started swinging him around with its tail back and forth.
Jake and the others were sitting there laughing their hats off "Hahaha you were saying something Jr.!"
"When this is over you're going to get it you know!" Jr. yelled still being tossed around. Eventually the money let him down and jr. was feeling very dizzy and pale green
"Jr.'s right boys we'll never get back home if we keep getting distracted ever minuet. Do what he says right now and let's get a move on" Violet shouts, the boys grunt and do as they were told.
"There you go now we're all yours" Violet said in a pleasent voice for once.
Jr. was suprised "Gee, thanks violet" Jr. said actually apreciating the one time he and violet agreed on something.
"What kinda sister would I be if I didn't help my big brother out? A very cold one!" She laughed answering her own question
"Right?" Jr. said eyeing her suspiciusly. "Now all we gotta do is find vanessa and leave" Jr. said.
"Vanessa? Why is she always the one getting seperated from us like that all the time?" Violet said annoyed.
"Vanessa, where are you? come on it's time to get a move on already!" Jake called as it echoed through the tree's.
"I don't think she heard you" Tyler said.
"Let's just leave her, if she's gonna just keep vanishing like this then I say..." Violet got cut off by a sudden yell.
"HELP!" They heard the terrified cries of their sister.
"Vanessa!?" Jr. calls loudly but all he heard was her shouts but still hadn't seen her.
There was a big gasp from amongst them "Guys look up there!" Jake points and they all gasoed when they saw vanessa being held hostage by a big mokney (sorta got a king kong reference going on here, ever seen king kong? u should if you haven't)
"Vanessa!? with a monkey?" Tyler said with a stare. "Now that's something you don't see everyday" He said to himself.
"Gosh Vanessa, I didn't know you were into big hairy ape men" Violet joked.
"Gee, Thanks for the concern of your own sister violet" Jr. said with sarcasm.
"Not funny violet, GET ME DOWN FROM HERE!" Vanessa yelled in panick and terror.
"Do something about this guys, I don't wanna be a monkey girl" Vanessa called down to them.
"Don't worry nessa we'll get you down!" Jr. said, he looked to the others. "Anyone got anything" He said as they just shrugged.
"No but I do have these banana's!"
"Good thinking Jake, if we distract the monkey with banana's we can get vanessa back"
"But how do we get them to see the banana's?" Jake asked.
"Gimme, I got this!" Tyler said taking the bunch o bananas, he walked to the edge of the branch so the monkeys were in good view. "*whistles* Yo monkeys!" He shouts and the monkeys all look to him. "Look what I got for you!" He dangled the banana's in the air. The monkeys went wild, chattering and sqealing monkey sounds, tyler ran around the branch with the banana's as the monkeys chased after him, the monkey holding vanessa let her go as he chased after tyler.
"OH NO!" Vanessa screamed as she went fallign from great heights.
"Gotcha!" She suddenly felt herself snatched in mid air. Jr. was swinging on a vine and saved her from a possible death Jake and violet were also above him swinging on the vine like tarzan does (I love tarzan too, so adventerous).
"Thanks bro, I thought I was a gonner" She said relived.
"Hang on sis, were going in for a landing" Jr. catuioned her, vanessa tightened her grip around his neck as he swung them al the way down to the ground safelty landing in a soft leaf pile.
"You alright Nessa?" He helped vaness to her feet.
"I'm good, despite the sudden fear of monkeys now!" She shriveled.
Meanwhile back in the treetops tyler was leading the monkeys to the farther side of the tree away from hsi siblings and himself. He looked back and saw dozens of monkeys after him. "That's right follwo the banana's, you know you want them!" He shouts speeding up, he runs right till he breaks at a branch that was far out into the mid-air and down below there were nothign but vines and lower tree's, he heard the monkeys chattering as they got closer, he could see them foaming at the mouths with beaty yellow eyes as them slolwly crawled his way, he backed up in fright until his foot dangled off the edge of the branch, he could go no further and monkey were closing in, they would not only get the banana's but probably him as well.
"C'mon tyler think, you gotta get rid of these monkeys before they do it to you" He said to himself, he looked down to the earth below and then a lightbubld struck. "That's it!" He annonced.
"Hey monkeys fresh banana's here and all you got to do is take them from me" He said waving them around as the monkeys got closer till they were right at him "You want them...FETCH!" Tyler threw the banana's over his head as they shoot backwards and fell to the earth and dissapered into the thick patch of tree's below. But that didn't stop the monkeys, they went right after them in a stampeed with tyler in their way.
"Perhaps I didn't think that through as well as I'd hoped" He shudder, he made no hesitations and jumped sideways just as the monkey hurled themselves one by one off the edge of the branch and fell after the bananas, but them being monkeys, they swung from vines and branches on the way and soon dissapered into the treetops.
"Au revoir singes" Tyler called back in french. He grabbed onto a single vine and swung himself to the ground. "That's how it's done"
"TY!" Jake said happily running to his brother. "You're alright!" He said happily.
"You know me jake, can't nothing hurt me" Tyler said all ganster-like talk.
"Except for a herd of wild monkeys" Violet lowered her eyerbrows at him.
"Alright guys that's enough monkeying around" Jr. joked a cheesy line, the others looked the other way in embaressment. He cleared his throat/ "Seriously let's get mpving again"
"Yeah before any other animals decide to take vanessa again" Violet laughed
Vanessa gave a mad frown "It's not funny!" Vanessa snapped at her.
"No worries I've still got the map" Jr. said reaching in his pocket to get it out, but was having trouble getting it. "I know i have it somewhere on me!" He grunted feeling all over for the map. "Uh-oh!" He said to himself
"What uh-oh, I don't like uh-oh's" Jake said.
"I uh, I think I lost the map!" He admited.
"WHAT!?" They all shout.
"It must've dropped or something when we were eing chased by all those animals uhg!" He slapped his forehead.
"No, map, t-that mean were stuck here..forever" Tyler said freaking out.
"Guys don't worry!" Jr. said calmly.
"What do you mean do not worry!" Jake shrieks.
"That map was our only ticket out of here" Violet snaps pretty upset.
"Come on guys, Jr. is the oldest one here and if he says not to worry we should trust him" Vanessa said softly to them. "After all, he proably has a plan to get us out of here, Right Jr.?" She looked to her brother who was grinning.
"Thank you vanessa, nice to know I have one understanding sibling!" He put a shoulder around her as the others rolled their eyes. "Alright guys just relax and follow me"
"Whoa whoa wait whoa" Violet stepped up. "Why should we follow you?"
"Because I said so" Jr. smirked.
"We don't even have a map anymore?" She crossed her arms at him
"We don't need a map, I remember most of it and I know most of the way to go" He argued back
"Oh so just beacuse you know the map that means you know the way out"
"Yes" He said straight up with a grin
"Well I don't think you do. Even if we did follow you you'd probably lead us in the wrong direction at one point and get us even more lost than we are now"
"Oh and I suppose you know the way out" Jr. glared at her.
"I do and I'll show you" Violet turned the other way and walked off.
"Where are you going?" Jr. said.
"Outta this jungle, the right way" Violet called
"Good luck with that, don't come crying to me when you get yourself lost"
"Talk to the hat buddy" Violet called back walking away.
Jr. rolled his eyes. "Fine then let her be that way, it's her fault we're all stuck here anyway. At least the rest of us can get out" Jr. said
Tyler and jake looked to each other with nervouc expressions. "Uhm, actually Jr." Jake said "We think we'll go with Violet on this"
"What!?" Jr. said. "You guys don't trust me" He said hurt.
"Don't think of it that way, We trust you a lot, it's just...we decided to just go with violet know I mean you and her both made good choices, but..."
"We just think it'd be better to just do what violet says"
"You really think that's best or are you just afraid of her?"
"That too!" Tyler admitted, as he and jake walked off the way violet had gone. "Hey Vi, wait for us!" Jake caleld running after her.
"You too huh nessa" He said sadly as he saw her walk away.
"Come on Jr. we might as wel just go, you know with you and me being the only responsible ones here, we have to look out for the rest" She said in a low tone.
Jr. sighed. "Good point, we better cacth up with them"
"If it helps, I would've followed you" Vanessa admits as she and Jr. walk side by side catching up with the others. They found the rest standing in a small open area and violet was slowly sharpening her nails with a sharp pinecone piece.
Violet looked up from her nails and sae Jr and vanessa coming. "Well, well look who decided to show up" Violet said smirking. "Finally admitted I'm the better one here" She asked Jr.
"No, I'm still the better one here" Jr. annonced. "But also being the responsible one, I can't just let you walk around here without someome looking out for you" He said like he really didn't care one way or the other.
Violet gave a baby smile. "Typical, sweet, little Jr. Always looking out for me even when he doesn't want too" She mocked pinching his cheecks.
"Violet you're lucky to have a big brother like Jr. to look out for you, even though he shouldn't waste it with you" Vanessa said with more volume in her voice.
Violet glared to vanessa who took a step back towards Jr. "I see Jr. got himself a little pet" Violet said and vanessa glared to her.
"Well now that we all agreed I'm in charge now. Follow me, I'll get us outta here in no time" Violet commands the rest of them as they all start walking.
"Or get us more lost and make things worst, if such a thing is possible right now" Jr. mumbed still upset, but reluctantly following his younger sister.
"I heard that!" Violet said in a sing-song voice.
"You were suppose too" He said back in a song voice.
"Demon!" Violet muttered.
"Heartless evil-witch" Jr. muttered back to her as they bumped and shoved each other agressively.
"I hope we get outta here soon" Jake muttered to the others.
"Me too" Vanessa whispered back "Otherwise we'll be putting up with that for the rest of our lives" She gestures to Jr, and Violet shoving and bumping each other, the 4 younger ones all looked with freaked faces.
"Were doomed" They all said and kept walking. Filled with fear, doubt and hoplessness
another chapter down so many more to go. and don't ask me how many chapters are in here cause as long as I keep getting the ideas there will be lots more chapters for u all to enjoy. Peace for now ;)
For those of you who thought it was a little exterme with the animals attacks and all I just have to say this...Hey at least they're all still alive okay?! ;/
