I know I left you all with a cliffhanger before but now you can all see the exciting conclusion to this Family adventure.
When we last left off our 2 leading girls were just establishing their true sisterhood, Let's continue with the story...
Violet was sitting there drawing in the dirt with her finger talking to herself "I cannot believe I'm just stuck here. I can't believe I'll never see my family again or become the world champion female fighter...but most importantly I can't believe I'll never see Jackson again" She drew a heart in the mud with her initial and Jackson's initial.
"How long are we suppose to just sit here!" She screamed to herself.
"Not sure!" Vanessa said, she was sitting on a fat elevated rock cross legged and breathing in and out.
"What are you doing?"
"Meditating, it beats mopping around in the dark and it takes my mind off all this" Vanessa said breathing in and out.
Violet thought that was ridiculous, but then again Vanessa had a point "What the heck?" She walked to her sister and mimicked what she was doing.
"Those idiot brothers of ours better not have ditched us"
"I'm sure they're working on a very clever plan to get us out of here" Vanessa said taking her sisters hand.
Outside the collapsed cavern the boys were standing around pacing thinking of a way to get their sisters out of there, But try as they might they just couldn't seem to think of any good way.
"I don't know what we should do now" Jr. said sighing.
"Me either!" Tyler said.
Jake was pondering for a second longer "Well maybe we could...No, that won't work" Jake said rethinking his idea.
"BOYS, ANY PROGRESS YET" Vanessa shouts to them.
"Not yet but we're working on it" Jr. yelled back.
"WELL HURRY UP!" Violet screamed at them
"We're hurrying just calm down!" Jr. shouted back to her. "I still got nothing"
"We have to do soemthing!" Tyler said.
"Like what?" Jake asked.
"We could either a) Find another way inside b) dig a tunnel from here to where the girls are or c)get these rocks to move and then the girls could just walk out the way they came" Tyer explained.
Jake stepped next to him. "And here is the problem with all 3 of those ideas; a) the cave is sealed shut b) We have nothing to dig with and even if we did we wouldn't know how far to dig to get the girls out and c) Unless some natural disaster happens these rocks are not moving anywhere" He pints out.
"Well I don't here you guys coming up with anything eles" Tyler said leaning against the rocks of the cave.
"Come on guys there's gotta be a way, we haven't figured it out yet but there's always a way" Jr. said to them.
The boys all started pacing around the grass, seconds tunred to minuets and those minuets slowly tunred into an hour and still nothing yet.
"GUYS PLEASE TELL ME YOU HAVE SOMETHING FIGURED OUT I'M STARVING IN HERE!" Vanessa whined.
"Just a few more minuets" Jr. shouts back
"YOU SAID A FEW MORE MINUETS OVER AN HOUR AGO AND WE'RE STILL TRAPPED IN HERE, EITHER GET US OUT OF HERE OR DON'T!" Violet snapped to them.
"Well in that case we'll just leave you there if you insist" Tyler said playfully.
"TYLER I SWEAR WHEN I GET OUT OF HERE..." Violet was about to go off when tyler stepped in.
"When? Don't you mean if" He began mocking her.
"Okay that's it!" Violet began punching at the rocks and then one flew right out making a gap large enough for the boys to see their sisters
"Wow Violet you just punched that rock away" Vanessa said amazed.
"Even I'm impressed by that!" Violet said with a smirk.
"At least now we can see you guys!" Tyler smiled looking through it.
"Can you guys please just get us out of here please!" She said rolling her eyes.
Jr. came to the gap and looked inside "We will just hold on" He tells them.
"I give up this is pointless, we are never gonna figure a way to get them out of there!" Jake said cracking up a little
"Jake keep it down the girls might here you" Tyler warned him.
"We did hear him!" Violet said looking out the gap with a glare to her brothers, Vanessa was there too whimpering.
"You guys really aren't goinn to get us out of here are you?" She whined.
"Nessa don't say that, I know this looks bad but we'll get you out I promise" Jr. said trying to calm her down.
They looked over to jake who was stomping around in circles muttering to himself.
"Jake calm down!" Tyler said.
"I can't I'm just very frustrated is all!" Jake snapped back
"So are we but acting crazy won't help us at all with this"
"Nothing's going to help us out with this and nothing's going to get us back home either"
"Jake Mum and Dad will come for us!" Violet said to him.
"If they were coming for us don't you think they would've found us by now" He said.
"Well maybe but..." Violet tried to say before jake said more again.
"Face it guys we're all gonna be stuck here and noone's gonna come for us and...I am jsut so mad right now!" Jake took a large coconut from the ground and hurled in the direction of the cave the coconut shattered on impact and also caused a rupture on the cave. The ground rattled and shook and the vibrations coud be felt from miles spread around. The rocks that blocked the cave began to rumble and crumble, that whole thing was about to come dwon for good.
"Guys get back!" Jr. said as the boys all backed up into the thick leaves of the jungle floor.
Inside the cave the girls wer eon their feet side by side. "What's going on?"
"What did those idiots do this time?!" Violet said irritated.
The cave floor beneath them began to break apart even more it was breaking down into pieces barely sturdy or strong enough to support them much longer. What was left of the roof was coming down in chuncks covering them all around this ting was going to come down totally in a matter of moments.
"What are we going to do now Violet!" Vanessa said whimpering. She felt Violet grab her hand and look at her sister with a sorry look.
"What more can we do, but spend the last few seconds we have together" Violet said dissapointedly. Vanessa looked all around here and then back to her sister, she let a tear fall from her eyes and hugged violet and never let go. If she had to go at least it was with her own sister.
"I love you sis" Vanessa said holding onto Violet.
"You to Nessa" Violet said still holding her little sister. They both closed their eyes and waited for anything to happen but something did happen a miracle.
As the cave began to topple over it caused the rocks blocking the exit to all crubled down relaeasing the cave and ettign in the sunshine and even better an escape. Violet was the first to see when she opened her eyes to the sudden light.
"Vanessa look" Violet screeched.
"What!?" Vanessa asked looking up and then she gasped. "A way out!"
"Yes let's get out of here already!" Violet said taking vanessa's hands and maing a run for it. They ran while dodging falling rocks and jumping gaps in the floor till they reached just outside the cave.
"YES WE'RE FREE!" They said dancing around and cheering.
The boys were hidden in the bushes until they heard the voices of their sisters, they peeked through and saw their sisters out of the cave still in one piece.
"GIRLS!" Jr. Jake and Tyler screamed when they saw their sisters out of the cave.
"BOYS!" The sisters yelled back as the boys ran towards them. Jr. reached them first and hugged and twirled them both at once.
"Wow Jr. you really missed us!" Vanessa smiled.
"Your my sisters what do you excpect!" He shrugged.
"OMG I thought I'd never see you girls ever again!" Jake said holding then both.
"We missed you too jakey" Vanessa said hugging him.
"Of all my brothers your my favorite" Violet smiled tussling his hair.
"What about me!" Tyler said walking to them.
Violet and vanessa crowded around him. "We missed you too ty-ty" Vanessa smiled.
"I'm still gonna get you for earlier though" Violet hissed making him gulp.
"Well now that we're all together again why don't we get going" Jr. said as they all stood up to their feet once more.
The ground beneath them was still rumbling and tumbing to hard for them to walk and it was breaking apart right before their eyes. "The ground is breaking apart I don't think it can hold us much longer!" Jake shouts.
Things too a turn for the worse when the ground literally split apart, there was an actual gap cracking in between the ground splitting it up in 2 pieces. "Now what do we do!?" Vanessa said scared silly.
"We have to get to the other side" Jr. says.
Violet glared at him "How!?"
Jr. thought for a moment then said "We jump for it!"
His siblings all looked to him with weird faces "Jr. you realize we talking about the slightest chance of possible ending our lives here" Vanessa said as calmly as she could trying not to scream.
"Would you rather stay here and crumble with the rest of the ground or jump and have a chance of living" Jr. points out glaring to them all.
One one hand if they jump and actually survive there was also a chance they'd miss and fall to their dooms; on the other hand if they stayed on the side they were on and crumbled with it death was instantaneuous so there was really only a 1;4 chance they'd make it.
"I don't know about the rest of you but I'd rather live, I'm going for it!" Jr. said. He took a running start and hopped for the best his siblings watched breathless to see if he'd make it, and he did.
"Wow I actually made it!" Jr. cheered for himself, he looked back behind him, "Jump it'll be alright guys!" he shouted back.
Tyler and jake looked at each other and then went for it. They got a running start and jumped as far as they could. Tyler made it and jake just barely made it a little to far off but he pulled himself back at the last second.
"VI, NESSA, YOU HAVE TO JUMP!" Jake shouts.
Violet wanted to jump but she knew there was no way vanessa was going to do it and she couldn't just abandon her like that. "Vanessa I know you're scared..." Violet starts before Vanessa steps in.
"Scared doesn't really cover the terror I'm feeling" She squeaked trembling at the legs and hands.
Violet tunred her sister head to hers "Vanessa all your life everyone's treated you like the baby you've always acted like. But you're braver than this, I know you are you just have to find the courage and embrace it. You have a ruthless feeling inside you but you have to let that out." She encouraged her timid sister.
"I don't think I can do that violet!" Vanessa admitted.
"You can and you will!" Violet said taking her sisters hand. "Because you're my sister and you're just like me"
"Mean!?" Vanessa said confused
Violet shakes her head "Tough!" she corrects her. Vanessa smiled for a moment till her feet began to move as they were sinking down lower.
"Girls you have to jump...QUICK! Before the gap gets too big" Tyler shouts to them.
Violet and vanessa lock hands. "Ready!?"
"NO!" Vanessa cried.
"Great let's go" Violet took off dragging vaness awho eventually picked up speed herself. They raced to the edge...got ready to jump...kicked in the air...flew a few feet...prepared to land...AND...TOUCHDOWN! They made it to the other side in one piece.
"We made, Vanessa we made it" Violet said in relfie.
"We did!" Vanessa opened her eyes and saw they were safe. "HA WE DID IT I KNEW WE COULD!" Vanessa said cheering.
"We?" Violet eyed her
"Alright you did!" Vanesa admits still happy though to be alive.
"Glad to see you both in one piece!" Jr. said coming to his sisters side.
"Thank goodness you both made it" Jake smiled.
"That was a pretty brave move vanessa" Jr. nudge her shoulders.
"Where's my thank you I got us here didn't I?" Violet said standing in the clearing.
"What!?" Violet said seeing everyone eye her funny.
There was a rumble and crumble as the ground beneath them began to crack and rip again. That's when there was an unexpected explosion and huge rocks went up everywhere.
"VIOLET LOOK OUT!" Vanessa said running back to violet, she moved violet out of harms way but she herself got struck down.
"VANESSA!" The 4 siblings screamed in horror crowding around her.
The cave fianlly fell under it's own loosening weight and collapsed entirely. Upon the fall the cabe kicked up debris submerging the gnomes in a thick cloud of dust and dirt. The ground beneath their feet rattled and crumbled and shook like mad, it was as if the earth was undergoing a massive earthquake. The rumbling and crumbling of the caverns soon slowed and died away all together, the dust evaporated back into the air and the siblings had their visions back.
"Whoa the entire caverns are gone!" Jake said standing up when it was enought to se through the dust.
The 3 brothers ran to where the once cliffedge stood and looked over it, the entire cliff had crumbled under the cave, when the cave collapsed it caused the ground beneath it to weaken under the pressure and fall apart itself. The boys watched as the cave and all eles fell from the sky down into the lower jungles and into the rocky river water with a mother of all splashes. The backsplashed reached as high as the remaining cliffside and then some, neary drenching the 3 brothers in cold water.
"WHOA!" The 3 brothers said with mouths hanging open in amazement. "EPIC!" They cheered high fiving one another. That was shortly lived when they saw Violet crying on the ground.
"*whimpers* Vanessa!" Violet whined looking over her montionless sister face down in the dirt. The boys walked back slowly to get a look at her too, Violet took vanessa's hands but they were dangling like wet noodles.
"She's not moving at all!" Violet said turning her over to her back.
Jr. kneeled down to vanessa and placed a hand to her heart not pump or bump, he put an ear to her chest next, no breathing sounds either. "She's...Not breathing!" He announced.
Everyone gasped. "Is-is she..." Jake said studdering.
Jr. put a hand to violets shoulder and then looked back up to his brothers "I'm sorry guys I think she's really gone this time!" He said nearly crying.
"Oh vanessa, I'm so sorry, this is all my fault, it should've been me" She said bawling.
Jr. grabbed her and gave her a small hug. "We're all dissapointed, but she lived a good 15 years of life" He said with a crack in his voice.
"15 years doesn't really seem like a lot to her, she had her whole life ahead of her" Violet said.
"C'mon guys I think a proper burial is in order here" Jr. said letting violet go.
Jake and Tyler laid a big leaf out on the grass and rolled vanessa onto it nice and gently. Violet set a small bouquet of wild flowers in vanessa's hands and set them both folded on her chest. The 3 boys lifted her up nice and easy and began walking slow and steady with their sisters body like a funeral march.
"Where should we put her!" Tyler said straining to hold her up.
"It should be someplace beautiful yet tranquil, like vanessa is" Violet said wiping tears away. "I know just where that place is" Violet grinend looking at her brothers.
"You mean our tranquil little haven we found before!" Tyler asked and she nods.
Violet leads them all the way back there and puls back the overlaping leaves to reveal their private little area. The sun was still at it's brightest in this place casting luminescent glow around all the beautiful nature surrounding it, there was so much sparkles and magiacl sensation all around them at once. The 4 of them once again felt at eternal peace and tranquility when they got there.
"It feels good to be back here" Jr. said as they all let the positive enegry cirlce around them once more.
"If only vanessa could see this one last time!" Violet sighed looking to her dead sister. They all frowned and walked inside with their sisters body. It wasn't until theyy came in range of the water that they spoke again "Here guys I think we should set her down right by the water" Violet said leading them.
They pulled the leaf till it sat right on the bank of the water, the 4 remaining siblings all got in a small row as the water waves slowly pushed vanessa's body into the cool water and carried her away with the currents, The 4 of them all she da few tears seeing their sister float away like that.
"Goodbye Vanessa!" They all said as their tears fell into the water and mixed. As they tunred around to leave they paused as a whoosing sound captured their ears, they tunred back to the pond to see it shimmering and magical sparkles fizzing up from the water and steam bubbling around. The water itself was changing into very visible colors while still somehow retaining it's blue color as well.
"Look it's happening again!" Jake gasped.
The water shimmered and glowed with all the bight colors of the rainbow and more shimmering in the water. There was one final dazzling whitle light that caused them all to cover their eyes from the blinding sight. When the white light stopepd and all the water and shimmering went back to normal the gnomes ooked out to the leaf where there sister was but she wasn't there anymore.
"Vanessa! where'd she go!" Violet said worried.
"She must've fallen in the water!" Tyler said getting to his knees to see if he could se eher in the water, but it was too blurry to see past the surface.
Then there came a sudden black blob that turned into a blur. "Looks somethings coming up!" Jake said. Tyler pulled his brother away from the water edge just in case it was some sea creature or something. They waited and waited as tiny air bubbles came about. "Wait for it, here it comes" Tyler said stepping backwards.
The blur finally reached the surface and plopped from the water. The first thing to be seen was a small triangular top.
"What is that!?" Jr. asked but the others had no clue.
It reached closer and closer to the shore and it soon started to get bigger as the water got lower at the shoreside. The more clearer picture was that it was long, curved and a soft coat of purple, following that was a bit of light chocolate brown surronding an off-white color center, and beyond that more purple and white and a dash of black at the end. Now that it was ashore they could see it much better but they still had no idea what it was. It began to unravel itself into a familiar shape, the shape of a human or gnome so to speak. It got to all fours and shook itself dry like a dog, looked up to the 4 gnomes and that's when they all gasped.
"Guys!"
"VANESSA!" They all shouted running to her, they all got down on all fours and grouped around her.
"Vanessa your alive!" Jake cried out holding her waist. "You came back from the dead!"
"Alive? Came back? I was Dead?" She asked.
"Yes! Don't you remember anything?" Jr. asked.
She shakes her head slowly "Last thing I remember was pushing Violet out of a falling rock" Vanessa said.
"Yes you saved my life and then died when you did it...I thought I'd lost you" Violet creid holding her little sister in her arms.
"But if I died, then how am I alive...Unless I am dead and this is just an illision!" Vanessa said suspecting the supernatural.
There was slight chuckling "No nessa your alive, we came here to bury you and the water carried you off and then like some magical force you were brought back to life again" Tyler explained.
"I was! how was that possible"
"The water did it!" Violet asked. "Remember when I cut my foot before and I dipped it in the pond water and then some magial occurance healed it" Violet reminisced. "Well that same magic must've brought you back to life again"
"That's amazing!"
"No it's a miracle, you were given a second chance"
"Or maybe my time just hadn't come yet!" Vanessa said making them laugh a little. "Thanks for saving me guys!"
"It was really violet's idea to bring you here!" Jake said.
The 2 sisters turned to each other. "Well thank you violet" Vanessa smiled.
"Just looking out for my dear baby sister" Violet said hugging her happily.
"Hey look guys I found a penny!" Jake said picking it up. "Man this place is all kinds of lucky!" He said.
"You know if you make a wish on a lucky penny it'll come true!" Tyler said.
Jake thought of making a wish but decided to let someone more deserving of it have the wissh instead. "Here vanessa you make a wish!" Jake said handing it to her.
Vanessa walked cloer to the pond to make her wish "But what do I wish for?!"
"What's the one thing you'd want to have right now more than anything eles?" Jr. said.
That was a tought one, vanessa had so much she wanted but could only have one right now. She looked at her siblings and her reflection in the water then back to her siblings. She should really make a wish for something they all wanted more than all eles in the world, and she knew quite well what that was.
She took a deep breath "All I wish is that we could just go back home!" She said tossing the penny inside the water with a splash, bits of magical sparks appered and flickered around vanessa ticlking her.
"That's one wish we all hope will come true!" Jr. said "But even if it doesn't at least we'll always have each other" He smiled as he and hsi sibings joined in a family hug.
They heard sudden rustlings in the bushes and turned around to see the bushes rattle and shake.
"What's that!" Violet asked.
"Probably another animal!" Jake whispered.
"Oh not again!" Vanessa said cowering behind Violet.
"Get ready guys!" Jr. said picking up a large stick in his hands like a baseball bat while the rest of them got into attack positions.
They saw the bushes seperate and somethign emerged from it. But something they never expected in the whole world to be seen by their eyes again.
