Gabriella sighed as she walked into work on Monday. She had such a great vacation and now she was back at work with a full time job and essentially being a single mom. She was Troy-less and that was the hardest part for her. She missed him even more than she did before. They had such a great week together and now they wouldn't see each other again for a month and a half.
She sat down at her desk and her eyes wandered over to a picture of her and Troy pre- Grayson. She had to squeeze her thighs together every time she thought about him. She couldn't wait about getting him back in her arms for Taylor and Chad's wedding. She didn't think she'd be able to let him go then. She might have to kidnap him.
How was she going to focus on work with Troy on the brain? Was she completely selfish for wanting him to come back? Maybe. She had to think of a way for them to be in one place and for all of them to be happy, including Grayson.
"Hey Gabriella." Her head shot up to look at her boss. "Yes, Jeanie?"
"Could you get me a coffee? A big one. You know how I like it right?" Jeanie said with a smile.
Gabriella raised her eyebrows. "No. I don't." She said shortly. "I didn't go through law school to get people their coffee."
"Well, you were sitting there doing nothing. So, I decided to give you something to do. Skim milk and two sweet and lows, please." Jeanie said with a tight lipped smile, turning and walking away before Gabriella could say something else.
She sighed, frustrated. She got up, grabbing her purse and walking out to her car. Jeannie was hired just as Gabriella started her externship. The boss that was training Jeanie was named Scott and he was leaving a month after Jeanie started. Scott was a great lawyer and person. He was the kind of boss you wanted to work for, unlike Jeanie.
Gabriella didn't know why Jeanie seemed to think of her as a threat. She was a new hire, just starting to make her mark in her career while Jeanie was established and apparently had a great resume. Gabi rolled her eyes to herself as she parked in front of the coffee shop.
She walked inside and ordered Jeanie's coffee. She poured whole milk in and put regular sugars in her coffee, stirring it up. Gabriella was positive she wasn't going to tell the difference. She probably thought it was going to taste better. She smirked to herself as she drove back to work. She placed the cup on Jeanie's desk before heading back to her own.
She get started with work, wanting to make up for the setback of getting coffee for her stupid boss. It seemed like the day got worse as it progressed. She was stuck doing paperwork all day and didn't even begin thinking about he cases the company was working on. Jeanie made sure she was confined to her desk especially when they were called to the daily staff meeting. Jeanie claimed "Well somebody has to answer the phones."
If she didn't know better, she would have kicked her ass then keyed her car. She only had to stay for a year or two before she could start looking for something else. That day made Gabi want to quit, pack up her and Gray's things and move across the country into Troy's little apartment. God, she missed him.
She de-stressed on the way home by sitting in her car and screaming. She picked up Grayson from daycare and fed him dinner at home. She put him to bed before she took a long shower. She talked to Troy for a minute before falling asleep herself.

Troy, Gray, Chad, and Zeke were getting ready for Chad and Taylor's big day in the hotel room they stayed in the night before. They didn't do anything too crazy because Troy had Grayson. They just caught up and drank a little beer after Grayson went to sleep. Troy hadn't seen Gabriella since the day before when she picked him up from the airport. They took their time getting home because all the family was in town for the wedding.
He was infatuated with his son. He hadn't seen him in a long time and was very happy that Grayson was just as excited to see him. He was watching him play quietly with his toys. Grayson was like Gabriella in the way that when he was focused on something he'd be silent until it was done. He didn't like being distracted with different things. Grayson was a special kid. Troy was blessed beyond words to know that he created such a special little person.
"Daddy?" The almost two year old asked.
"Yeah buddy?"
"Where's mama?" Grayson asked looking up from his toy.
"Mama is with Auntie Taylor; they're getting ready for the wedding." Troy explained. "We'll see her in a little bit. Okay?"
He nodded his head, looking back down at his Troy. "Man, I hope my kids are as good as yours." Zeke said from next to him.
"They're going to be half Sharpay, so I'll highly doubt that." Troy joked.
Zeke slapped him in his chest, and laughed. "You're probably right. Hopefully they're look like her and get my personality."
"You want a baby?" Troy asked, looking at his friend.
"I do, but Sharpay wants to wait. I think she's scared or something, I'm not too sure. She just keeps putting it off."
Troy shrugged. "Hide her birth control and don't use condoms."
"That's fucked up, Troy." Zeke said with a laugh. "So that is how Gray was made?"
"Of course not." Troy laughed. "Just talk to her man. Try to ease her fears and let her know that she's not going to be alone in this. Just talk about it."
"Or accidentally knock her up on purpose."
"Talk." Troy said with a laugh. He walked over to Gray. "Come on, son. Let's get dressed."
"Okay." Grayson set down his toy and reached up for his father.
Troy picked him up and set him on the bed. He dressed his son in a little tuxedo that matched the rest of the groomsmen. He kissed his sons face before he fixed Gray's hair. He used a little product. Gray didn't fuss much, he just wanted his mom.
After each man got dressed and ready, they headed for a couple groomsmen shots before they went downstairs to the wedding hall. Troy held onto his son and waited for the bridesmaids to come down. He couldn't wait to see his girl. The first thing he heard was her laugh, his heart almost stopped. He kissed his sons face. "Are you ready to see mommy?"
Grayson's head perked up. "Mommy?"
"She's coming." Troy whispered with a smile. His eyes caught her beautiful brown curls as she twirled just as she came around the corner. He heard the rest of the bridesmaids giggling with her.
"Momma!" Grayson yelled.
Gabriella stilled and smiled when she caught sight of her two boys. She ran quickly in her heels and wrapped her arms around both of her boys. She kissed Grayson first. "Hi baby." Gray clung onto her so she had no choice to take him from Troy.
"He missed you." Troy said with a small smile.
"I missed him too. I missed both of you." Gabriella said with a small smile. She leaned up and gave him a quick kiss before she froze and realized what she just did.
"Gabi?" Sharpay asked from behind her.
Troy just winked at her. "I guess the cat is out of the bag?" He asked with a shrug.
"I'm surprised they didn't catch on sooner." Gabi let out a giggle.
Troy grinned. "Are you drunk? You seem awfully giggly."
She shook her head with a wide smile. "No, not drunk. Just… happy."
Troy grinned down at his girl. "Me too." He moved a piece of hair back. "Wanna go sneak off somewhere?"
Gabi laughed. "We have ten mintues to get everybody settled before Taylor comes down here. We have no time, but after the wedding, while Taylor and Chad are taking pictures…" She trailed off with a small smirk.
"Where?"
"Our room. 214. Were staying the night while my parents take Grayson." She pulled out a pack of hotel keys from her cleavage. She slipped one over to him. "I love you."
"I love you too, beautiful." He bit his bottom lip debating on if he should kiss her. "Fuck it."
"Fuck wha-" His lips cut her off. He cupped her face tenderly as his lips pressed against hers.
Troy felt a small hand on his cheek. "No, daddy." Grayson said as he pushed him away.
Gabriella laughed. "Gray, be nice to daddy, he loves mommy."
Grayson sighed. "Okay. I love you daddy."
"I love you too, Son." Troy chuckled, giving his son a kiss on the top of the head. "I better get going."
"Five minutes." Gabriella said excitedly. "Come on Gray, let's go see Auntie Shar."
Troy walked back into the wedding hall where all the guests were getting settled in. He said a quick hello to his parents, Gabi parents and a couple of other people. He made sure Chad was ready and standing at the altar. He checked his pocket for rings before he walked up the aisle and back to his girl.
"Welcome back handsome." She greeted him with a kiss on the cheek.
"Did you get grilled?" Troy asked, hooking his arm with hers.
Gabi shook her head. "Nah. Our parents gossiped about us months ago. They were just told to keep their mouths shut."
Troy chuckled. "Figures."
"At least I get to kiss you anytime I want now." She said with a wide smile.
"Good." He planted a quick kiss to her lips and the girls in front them all sighed simultaneously. Troy laughed. "Where's our son?"
"Grayson." Gabi called out. "You and Makayla stand in front of auntie Kelsi, remember?"
The two little children stood in front of the wedding party. They started down the aisle just as Taylor came to a stop behind him. "Wow, Taylor. Chad is going to be crying like a little baby when he sees you."
Taylor laughed. "Thanks Bolton. You two are next."
Troy and Gabriella just smiled at each other. "Yeah, maybe next year." Gabi confirmed as she slipped her hand in Troy's. He gave her a kiss on the cheek.
Taylor squealed to herself before they took a couple steps forward. The doors opened for Troy and Gabriella. He escorted her down aisle. "Daddy." Grayson ran up the aisle when they were about half way. The guests laughed as Troy picked up his son. Once they got to the end, He gave Gabi a sweet kiss before she kissed their son.
They took their places and Troy pat his brother on the back as the doors opened to reveal Taylor.
After the ceremony, Troy handed off Grayson to his parents and snuck into the elevators to head up stairs. He held the door open when he saw Gabriella running his way. She slipped in just as the doors closed. He pushed her up against the wall and attacked her lips with kisses. He lifted her thighs, pinning her in between the wall of the elevator and him. She slid her tongue in his mouth, grabbing onto the back of his head.
"I love you."He hummed against her lips.
"Mm, love you too."
He pulled away from her when the elevator opened. He set her down and dragged her out of the elevator. They ran down the hall, laughing, like a bunch of teenagers. He pinned her against the door when they got to their room. He took the key out of his pocket and kissed her lips before sliding it in. Once the light turned green, he turned the handle and opened the door.
Gabriella stumbled back, giggling. He caught her with a strong arm around her back. He lifted her up again, closing the door behind him. He dropped the key on a table before connecting his lips to hers. He fell back against the bed and she fell onto of him. She pushed his jacket off his shoulders before moving to unbutton his shirt.
"No, just pants." Troy mumbled, lifting her dress to her waist.
"Quick and dirty huh?" She asked with a small smirk.
"Yes, ma'am." He chuckled, kissing her lips again.
Troy and Gabriella ran out of the elevator, back to the hall with messed up hair and noticeably smudged makeup. They went their separate ways during the cocktail hour. He stopped in front of a mirror and fixed his hair slightly. He felt a hand of his shoulder.
"Hey man, where have you been?" Chad asked from behind him.
"I just had to go get something really quick, Was I gone that long?" Troy asked.
"You and Gabi have been gone for 45 minutes, Brother."
Troy chuckled, guilty. "Sorry, we didn't realize we were gone for so long."
Chad laughed. "It's all good, brother. I was trying to get Tay to sneak away but she's just focused on the wedding reception."
"If you sneak out, I'll cover you," Troy said with a nudge. "I got you brother. How does it feel to be married?"
"Great, you should try it." Chad joked.
"I'm planning to. I want to ask next year when I get back from Memphis."
"You got a ring?"
"I'm sure my mom has one." Troy said with a laugh. "She's wanted me and Gabsy to get married since before Grayson was born."
"Believe me, I know." Chad said with a laugh. He looked around. "Wife is giving me the evil eye, I better go socialize."
Troy made whipping sounds as Chad walked away. He made his way through the crowd and found his son. He picked him up and gave him a hug. "Hey buddy."
"Hi daddy, where mommy?" Gray asked, looking around the room.
"Let's go find her." He squeezed his son. He bounced his son as he walked around the room. "Do you see mommy?"
"Yes!" Grayson pointed.
He walked over to his girl and covered her eyes. "Who's that?" Gabriella asked. She turned around and her face lit up. "My baby!" She reached out for Grayson and squeezed him tightly. She kissed his face and cuddled her son. "Hi handsome."
"Hi mama." Grayson cuddled his mom.
Troy smiled at his girl. He reached over and put a piece of hair back into place. "You got him?"
"I'm going to have to give him back to you. I have to help Taylor because she's turned into wife-zilla."
Troy snorted, taking back his son. "I love you. I'll see you in there."
"Give him to your dads or my parents before we sit down to eat." She said, licking her thumb and wiping a smudge off Grayson's face. "Oh, and I love you too."
He kissed her lips quickly, winking at her just before he turned and walked away with Grayson. "Let's go find Grandma." Troy told his son.
February 10, 2015
"Don't go." Gabriella pouted, wrapping her arms around Troy.
They were laying in bed, it was just before six in the morning. This was their last full day together before Troy had to leave tomorrow morning. Grayson was sleeping in his crib in Troy's old room. The baby monitor was on and Grayson was visible on the small screen, fast asleep.
Troy planted a kiss on her forehead. "I have 24 hours until I leave, baby."
"I know, it's too soon. I don't want you to go." She said, rolling on top of him. "I'll miss you. Grayson will miss you. Everyone will miss you."
"I'll miss you and Grayson too. We only have a couple months then I'll be back here in bed with you. I'll be keeping you up all night when you have to get up for work in the morning." Troy placed small kisses on her nose.
"Then I'll want to send you back to Tennessee." She joked, crossing her arms against his chest. She placed her chin on the top of her arms. "I figure, this time next year my bitch of a boss will be on my last nerve. We'll spend the summer here and maybe me and Gray will move across the states with you."
"You don't know how good that sounds." Troy said, smiling fondly.
"You don't know how hard it is raising Gray without you, Troy." She brushed his hair back. "He needs his father. He's going to start remembering things soon. I want his first memories to be happy ones, with both of us there."
"I agree completely babe. We just have to make it through the next year."
"We can do it." Gabi said, confidently.
"Hell yes, we can."
"I love you." She murmured, gripping his hair with her fingers.
"Ow, I love you too." He chuckled. "Only you like getting your hair pulled while were in bed."
"Oh, shut up." She laughed, playfully slapping his chest.
He wrapped his arms around her waist, lifting his head to kiss her lips. "You're pretty."
"You're pretty too." She said with a small smirk, kissing his lips once again.
He laid his head back against the pillow and sighed. She stared at him. "What?"
"I don't know. I never thought I'd be this happy, ya know?"
He nodded, smiling. "I know exactly what you mean."
"Being with you makes me feel so good, so happy, and I don't ever want that to change."
"It won't." He said confidently.
"I was so scared that you would get bored of me, or hurt me. I still am, but I don't want to deny us these feelings. I want us both to be happy, I want our son to be happy."
"He is happy, I am happy, and you are happy. Baby, I'm not going to hurt you. I just want to marry you okay? Be with you until we lose control of our bladders okay? I want to set an example for our son, teach them that he can fall in love and treat somebody right and be with them and be happy for a very long time. I want more babies, I want to see our babies have babies, together. I've always wanted us, Gabi. You have nothing to be afraid of."
A small smile played on her lips as she watched him talk. "Do you really mean all of that?"
"Whole-heartedly, My love." He leaned up to kiss her lips again.
"I've always wanted us, too Troy."
"Good, so you won't hurt me either?" He asked, stroking her bare back with his fingertips.
"Probably not."
Troy laughed. "What do you mean 'probably'?"
Gabriella shrugged, giggling. She tried to roll off him but he tightened his arms around her. He ended up on top of her, pinning her hands to the bed. "I won't hurt you." She said as their play wrestling came to a stop.
"I know." He smiled, nuzzling his nose against her neck. "Do you think we have time before Grayson wakes up?" He asked, leaving a trail of wet kisses down to her collarbone.
"I don-"
"Mama!" Grayson called out from the next room.
Gabriella turned her head to see him standing up in his crib. She watched him for a moment as he tried to climb out. "Go get him, babydaddy." She gave him a motivational slap on the ass.
"I love you." Troy grinned, kissing her lips one last time before rolling off the bed.
"I love you too." She said, reaching to the floor to find his shirt. She pulled it on and she was then hit in the face with a pair of clean panties. "Thanks." She laughed, watching him tug his boxers on.
"Anytime, Gabsy, anytime."
