HEY HEY I have returned...for this story. Things are getting pretty busy for me now, school is gonna happen in 2 weeks and I am freaking out, this is my last year of High school & then what College? Job? a Career?...Ok im getting ahead of myself but there's so much to yhink about in so little time.
So I'm being a little more on this story so I can getthrought with it and focus on my other stories, Hopefully I'll have enough time before school to get through it. So I hope u all enjoy it. (The ending might be a bit confusing but give me a break I'm doing the best I can)...Happy reading :)
Tyler povNight was upon us in the garden and I was vigorously tapping at my foot as my family sat down for dinner. My eyes were darting back and forth at the clock on the wall. Time just couldn't move any faster.
"Tyler you ok?" Dad asked me.
I was so preoccupied I almost didn't hear him "Huh? Oh yeah I'm fine, why wouldn't I be"
"You've been staring at the clock all throughout dinner" Violet butted in.
I glared at her hard. "Just watching time go by" I joked. "Can I be excused?"
"Your dinner will get cold" Mum said.
"I'm not all that hungry" I pushed my plate away.
Mum and dad looked to each other "Okay you can go if you want" Mum said still unsure.
I got up from the table and made my way up to my room and put on my dark jacket and slipped out the window so no one would see me walk out the front door. I hid in the bushes in case anyone saw me and made my way out the garden and into the alley way. I walked the streets of Stafford in the night and walked into the park. It was dark and quite and the only thing you heard was the howling of the wind and the only light you were given was the moonlight brightening the gravel pathways.I walked into the biggest grassy area there as in the park and looked around. "Psst! Hey, Is anyone here?" I said looking around but here nothing.
"Hello is anyone here!" I said louder but still nothing, now I was getting irritated "YO WHERE ARE YOU?" I yelled as my voice echoed .
I heard bushes rustle nearby and not to long after that out popped someone another gnome "Sheesh dude might as well shout into the heavens 'gnomes talk', keep it down!"
"Well sorry but how else was I suppose to find you...Stuart!"
"Good to see you too after all so long Tyler"
Stuart was a very close distant friend of mine, He was a dark green hatted gnome with dark hair of brown and black and his hat had thin, almost invisible, light blue glowing rings around it the defied gravity. His choice of clothing was always a dark gray jumper suit with blue calf high boots with pointed spikes at the tops and a blue glowing anti-gravity belt around his waist. His skin was a pasty pale and his eyes were deep red with dark marks underneath. And the last distinguishing thing about Stuart was that he had wings and thin little antennae on his heads.
I know this sounds strange for a gnome but the thing was Stuart was not a regular gnome...He was an alien.
"Oh Stuart it's been months since we last saw each other" I said smiling.
"I know it's been torture not seeing you" He said in his deep voice.
"So what brings you back to earth?"
"Just came to see my best friend!" He said. "And also seeing if you wanted to come back with me to my home planet for a visit" He asked.
Stuarts home planet was located in another galaxy, the androgynous galaxy, and it took a long time to get there. "I don't know that's bit far away"
"Not if you have a spaceship that can travel at light speed" He said holding his keys out and then his space craft appeared hovering above our heads.
"Nice ship"
"Thanks I just had it upgraded!" He said. "Well"
"I guess it wouldn't hurt to have a quick visit" I said walking next to him.
We got beamed aboard the ship and up to the control panel where the ship was steered. "Take a seat, make yourself comfy" He said pulling up 2 large chairs for us to sit in. One of the robot servants brought us some drinks while we relaxed and drank.
"Captain take me home" Stuart announced. The captain bowed and we left the earth an up towards space. Since there was no gravity in space everything including us began to float around the ship. I floated over to the window and saw the earth from space it looked like a giant blue/green marble that got smaller and smaller as we went farther away.
The ship shifted into warp speed as we vanished from my galaxy and in literally 5 seconds we arrived in the androgynous galaxy. Stuarts home planet was multiple times the size of earth. As we got closer into the atmosphere I saw that it was filled with strange looking plants and animals, I had only been to this planet once before so I was not use to all the weirdness.
We flew until we made it to the big palace on a large cliff-side. The ship flew into the open roof and landed right in the middle of a room. We stepped off and I looked around this palace had to be the only thing that resembled the palaces on earth without any freaky weirdness to it. We walked the halls as there were a lot of servants doing their daily chores "Oh your majesty you have returned!" I heard one servant say as others followed and crowded Stuart. Another thing to know, Stuart was prince of his planet.
"Alright don't crowd me!" Start demanded and they all backed off.
Stuart turned back to me and just as he was about to say something
"YOU'RE BACK!" I got startled when I heard a shrill voice and the next thing I knew start got trampled by another alien. This was an alien girl with a dark green hat, gray dress, her eyes were of grassy green and she had pale skin and long blonde hair with split ends, She had squiggly antennae and her demon wings were dark and bat-like.
She and Stuart looked deep into each others eyes for a moment "I've missed you Ker-job" She said to him. Ker-job was Stuarts actual name but translated into Earth language it was Stuart.
"I've missed you too Klee-gab" He said back to her, Klee-gab was Stuarts girlfriend and translated to earthling her name was Annabelle. She lived at the palace with her mother and father, whom were some of the royal families servants and Annabelle worked as one of the servants alongside them but she and Stuart had to keep their relationship from his parents.
Stuart brought his gaze from her back to me for a second "And look who I brought over to visit?" Start said moving away to reveal me.
There was a gasp "Tyler you came back!" Annabelle shrieked running into my arms next.
"Good to see you again too Annabelle!" I smiled hugging her tighter.
That's when we heard the large door behind us open up and then walked in 2 more dark green hatted aliens one boy and a girl both wearing matching clothing. The boy had brown hair and blood red eyes like Stuart and the girl had was wearing silver crown on her head with lots of fancy jewelry on. Her eyes were also blood red and her hair was a copper color and flipped upwards showing her ears bejeweled with long earrings. Both of them had curved antennae and their wings were long, dark and scary.
They walked over to us and Stuart rolled his eyes and Annabelle backed away a little "Well if it isn't, our pesky kid brother" The boy said giving Stuart a thump on the head and then pushed him backwards. I raced over and helped Stuart to his feet and Annabelle got mad.
"Who do you guys think you are?" Annabelle snapped.
"I think we're Prince Jacombo and Princess Quanta you better recognize" The girl said with a glare. Jacombo was Stuarts older brother and Quanta was his older sister, there names in my tongue were Mario and Rida.
"Yeah we can pick on our brother if we want" Mario said.
Stuart stood up to them "Well can it not be today I have company right now!"
"Mario! Rida what's up?" I said smiling at them.
Both of them smiled at me "Oh hey Tyler good to see you again" Mario said giving me a high five. "What brings you here?"
"Stuart begged me to come back for a visit and we haven't seen each other in a long time, how could I refuse" I said making them giggle.
There came the sound of trumpets as the guards blew on them and stood tall and straight. "Presenting your royal Highness' The King and Queen" The door opened up and Stuarts parents came walking arm in arm into the room. Stuarts mum, Queen Mary-Jane, was an elegant Alien lady and his Father King Marcellus, was a very strong muscular alien king.
As they made their way to us we all bowed to them. "Good day children!" King Marcellus said.
"Mother, Father" Stuart and his siblings said bowing.
"Your majesties" Me and Annabelle bowed too.
"Tyler what are you going here?" They said surprised to see me.
"I brought him here for a visit" Stuart said coming to my side.
"Well we're always happy to have you here Tyler." Queen Mary-Jane smiled. "But Stuart and his siblings need to come with us for a family meeting, you and Annabelle have to go until we return" She said.
Stuart looked back to us "I'll come find you guys as soon as we're done" He said hugging me and kissing Annabelle before he walked away with his faiy.
"It's going to be a while. These meeting take some time" Annabelle sighed.
"How long do they last?"
"20 minuets...give or take an hour or so" She shrugged.
"An hour that's too long!" I huffed.
"Well if you want you and I could do go outside and do something to pass the time" She said walking to the outer door.
"What about Stuart?"
"He'll come out looking for us in our regular spots" She said and with that we walked out of the palace and over the bridge careful to fall onto the bubbling goo pit below.
"So what should we do first?"
"You ever been waste surfing"
"What?"
She rolled her eyes at me a little "Come here I'll show you" She said.
We walked a while till we made it to this open area filled with a bunch of glowing radioactive waste. "This is the waste pit, the best place for waste surfing?
"What is waste surfing?"
"The equivalent to water surfing you do on earth, only more dangerous because it's done with toxic waste that can kill you!"
"That doesn't sound too safe or fun" I said frightened.
"We're all immune to toxic exposure " She said.
"But I'm not!"
"You will if you wear this?" She said handing me a waste suit to protect me.
I put the suit on and when I came back Annabelle was wearing a small swimsuit and her surfing boots. "Nice" I said, she couldn't see me blushing under my suit helmet. "Now what do I do?" I said. she threw a surfboard in my face.
"Now we ride!" She said running to the water and diving in the splash back splashed me but thanks to this waste resistant surfing suit I was unharmed. Now that I knew I was protected I grabbed my surfboard and began to ride the waves. I surfed out with Annabelle to the very middle where there were some other alien teens out waiting.
"Now what happens?" I asked her.
"We wait for the waves to come" She said smiling.
"Well when is that..." Just before I could finish I felt a rumbling as the waste started to bubble and sizzle like it was boiling over a hot stove. I looked over to Annabelle and she along with the other aliens were getting all excited and such.
"Here it comes, WAVE HOE!" Someone shouts. I turn around and sure enough there was an enormous wave of green waste rising way over our heads. I was so scared I could hardly move.
"C'mon tiller swim" Annabelle said swimming away on her board. I followed her as the wave caught up to us and started rising us higher up onto it till we were in perfect surfing conditions. She stood up on her board and began to surf the waves high and proud. I however never surfed before so this was all new to me. I tried to stand up on it but it was wobbling and I was not the best balance around.
"Tyler you'd keep more balance if you spread your legs, one in front of the other!" Annabelle shouted to me.
I tried it and sure enough my balance was perfect, But I still didn't know how to surf yet. I watched Annabelle and the others they were doing all sorts of tricks, that I could never do, the best I could do was pop it into the air a second and then just go back to regular surfing.
"Having Fun?" Annabelle shouted to me.
"So far so good!" I said trying to keep my balance. I was doing just fine until...
BOOM
Out of nowhere there was this huge explosion and waste started raining down everywhere. "What the heck was that?" I asked
Annabelle swam over to me "Oh looks like we surfed right into the detonation area"
"The what?" I asked thinking that was not a good thing to hear.
"Well to keep the whole surfing thing more interesting there are explosions all around the area and when waste surfing waves wash over one the activate and set off a chain reaction. So be careful out there"
"Annabelle wait come back!" I said but she was already to far away to hear me.
Now I had to be cautious about this even the slightest misplace and I was blown to pieces.
"I'm alive...I'M ALIVE!" I said shouting.
"Not bad Tyler, you made it out in one piece"
"You might want to turn your board around now" She cautioned me.
"Why?" I asked feeling in the zone with surfing now.
"That's why!" She warned me. I looked and not to far ahead of me there were enormous jagged rocks covering the place and there was no way to get through them without crashing. "BAIL OUT!" Annabelle screamed as she turned her board back to shore, However I was stuck going forwards towards the rock where my board was destroyed and I went launched horizontally in the air and crash landed in the dirt back on shore.
I felt someone yank my legs and pull my head up as I coughed up mud and other alien junk.
"Annabelle?" I said still woozy and disoriented.
"Whoa what a wipeout that was" She said helping me to my feet "Tyler how do you feel?"
I felt strange for a moment and It took a while to answer her "I feel...I feel...I feel like that was totally wicked!" I said jumping to my feet. "I love waste surfing"
"Everybody does" She said giggling "Want to go again?"
"You know I do" I said grabbing a new board and heading back out with her.
After hours of surfing I got really tired and decide it was time to go and see if Stuart could come back out to hang around now "Man that was awesome" I said walking back to the castle with her to the castle "Thanks for taking me there Annabelle"
"No problem next time I'll teach you how to do cool tricks" She promised me
"I'd like that"
We walked up the stairs of the castle and into the main hall where we were last left with Stuart, we walked inside and I saw him right there coming from behind a door. He saw us and ran right over "Hey guys where've you 2 been?" Stuart asked coming to Annabelle's side.
"I took Tyler to the waste pits for his very first surf lesson" She said punching my arm.
"You guys went waste surfing without me" He complained.
"Sorry but you were at that meeting and we couldn't just sit here for who knows how long" Annabelle argued back
Stuart shrugged his shoulder "Fair enough. So you guys want to do something else? Maybe we could take Tyler to the Lava falls!" He said in excitement
"Yes that's it you'll love it there!" Annabelle shrieked.
"I wish I could but I wasn't suppose to stay too long I have to go home now before my parents find out" I sighed
"Aw! can't you stay for a bit longer" They begged me
I shook my head "My parents will freak if they see me missing" I huffed.
Stuart was bummed out about it but he looked at me "Okay we'll take you back home then" Stuart said as we walked back to the ship. It was a while before we took off but getting me back to earth was as fast as blinking an eye.
Stuart dropped me off right back at the park where we meet up. "Goodbye Tyler" Annabelle came up to me and hugged me. "See you on your next visit"
"I'll be waiting on those waste surf lessons you promised" I said as we both laughed.
Stuart came up to me and looked a bit sad "How long before we can see each other again?" He asked.
"Whenever you want" I answered.
"But it won't be for a while will it"
"You never know. I just wish we could always talk to one another" I sighed.
"Wait that's it!" He said running away for a moment and then coming back to me with a smile. "Here" He said holding out a small watch to me.
"What's this?" I asked.
"A special watch, whenever I want to talk with you it'll glow read and then I'll appear right by your side to talk to you"
"Amazing thanks!" I said strapping it to me arm.
"But don't lose it"
"I promise I won't. I'll see you soon" I said hugging him. I walked back down as the tractor beam lowed me down to earth and I looked back up to Annabelle and Stuart as they waved to me. Once I was safely on the ground the ship flew off at warp speed leaving me alone in the darkness. I looked down to my new watch as it glowed in the dark, my gaze went back up to the stars knowing somewhere in the distant galaxy my friends were up there looking down at me.
The next day
I was knocking on the blue garden door as the evening was drawing ever so closer. The door opened up and I saw my beautiful girl walking out all set ofr our date, she smiled at me and I smiled at her wrapping to her waist.
"Shall we get going?" I asked holding up my arm
She put her arms under mine and smiled "We shall"
Right when we got to where we were going I grabbed her head and covered her eyes "Hey, Tyler what are you doing?" She asked trying to feel her way around now.
I snickered "Don't want you blowing the surprise just yet"
"We're almost there" I guided her
"Where is it that we're going?"
"You'll see" I whisper in her ears and she couldn't help but giggle I opened the door for her and lead her a bit more into the place where we were. I turned her to the side and moved my hand from her eyes "Here we are!" I said
I was taking Jenny to the roller rink she always loved to roller skate even if she wasn't very good at it. She and I had a lot of fun rolling around but there were more people there then I thought there would be and Jenny was not exactly the strongest skater so she caused a few pile-ons here and there but for the most part we had a good laugh about the whole thing.
"All this skating's made me hungry!" She said as her tummy rumbled.
I take her hand "Shall we eat?" I flirt with her
We left the rink and walked down to the Cafe, not a fancy date just a simple pizza dinner for the end of a perfect day.
"Tyler this was a great date"
"I know I feel the same way" I took her hands in mine
"Tyler you're watch...it's glowing" She says, I look at my watch it was flashing, I gasped that could only mean one thing. I turned back to Jennifer for a moment.
"Uh pardon me" I excused myself from the table and ran inside the bathroom for privacy.
I looked at my wrist and pressed on it and out popped a hologram of my favorite alien life form "TYLER!" He called in joy
"Stuart, what's the haps?" I asked happily.
"I just called to check on my best buddy!" He smiled and I smiled too "And guess who else?"
"Tyler!" another face popped up and I smiled even bigger
"Annabelle!" I cried seeing my other friendly face
"Tyler we miss you" She said.
"Me too I wish I could see you guys again"
"Good thing I gave you that communication watch or we'd never be able to talk to each other" Stuart said and I laughed.
"Tyler *Knock* are you okay in there?" I hear Jennifer's voice from outside
"Uh yeah I'm coming!" I call back. I turn back to my friends "Listen Stuart I can't talk right now I'm o a date with my girlfriend right now"
"Awe so sweet, See Tyler takes his girlfriend on dates!" Annabelle snapped at Stuart.
"Lets not do this now!" Stuart rolled his eyes and I chuckled
"*Knock*Tyler!" I hear jenny's voice.
"Listen guys I have to call you back at home!" I said clicking them off and running out the bathroom and Jennifer was there waiting for me
"Who were you talking to?" She asked
"Uh just a call from a friend" I said.
It was the end of our date and we walked hand in hand back to the Garden just outside of it.
"Thanks for the lovely date Tyler" She said kissing me
"Next time will be even better" I whisper to her.
She laughed and nuzzled me once more. I let her go as she disappeared into the garden an I waited till she was out of sight. The moment she was I raced back to my greenhouse and inside my family was there all sitting around until they saw me race in.
"Hey Tyler how was your date?" Mum asked me
I ignored her "Can't talk right now!" I raced up to my bedroom and locked the door, turned off the lights and got out my watch and called up Stuart again.
"Stuart, Stuart!" I called to him
It took a moment until he came through "Chill dude I'm here" Stuart came back through again.
"Me too" Annabelle showed herself again.
"Guys be more careful when you call me Jenny almost found out"
"Sorry we didn't know"
"Yeah we just wanted to talk to you"
"Well I'm doing great. I just really wish I could see you guys again"
"Us too but it's hard to travel to and from earth so much and my parents say it risky for me to be going to earth so much now"
"How long do you think till we see each other again"
"Idk but soon I promise"
"Uh-oh someone's at my door talk to you guys soon"
Stuart smiled "See you buddy"
"Bye Tyler!" Annabelle called before I clicked them off. I sighed and walked to the door to open it up.
"Tyler Hey" I see my little bro outside with an open smile
I give him a high-five "Jake what's the haps?"
"I was just checking on you, you kind of dashed up here and no one's seen you since"
"Oh yeah I had something to take care of that's why"
"Oh so how was the date?"
"Great it was nice to finally be alone with Jennifer for the day''
"Cool well see you later" and with that he walked away.
"Night bro!" I said closing my door
I locked my door and sighed in sorrow again, I looked to my window as the summer night breeze blew my curtains inward. I stepped over and poked my head out feeling the wind pass my face and the nighttime sky bedazzled with trillions of other stars and lights. And beyond those stars was a galaxy that within held a planet that consisted of other world beings and one sole life form on that planet was my dear distant friend.

The next morning me and my girl were happily sitting in the grass like the happy couple we were I invited her over to my house for a change and since my family had went to the main garden it was the perfect chance to be alone with her
"Oh Tyler that date yesterday was amazing" Jenny said with a giggle. she was resting in my lap looking into the sky
I leaned down and gave her a kiss on the forehead "I know I enjoyed it too, we really should do it again sometime" I said.
"Why don't we! Tonight" She popped off my lap with a smile
"Tonight!"
"Yeah I heard they're doing a play in the park tonight it could be 2 date night in a row please" She begged
"Well I can't say no to you, sure we can make a date of it"
"You are the best!" he said kissing me
I boasted "I know I am!" I said kissing her.
That night after sunset me and Jenny were taking a seat in the grass fir the show. A lot of other gnomes had come to see so it was a bit crowded but we picked a nice spot not too crowded and I set out our blanket to rest on.
"Oh I got to go to the bathroom?" I lifted Jennifer's head off me and tiptoed away from her and into the bushes, there were no porta-potties around here so I did the next best thing. I used the bush but I had to hurry before someone came by. I turned around and went but not long after that I saw the bushes rustle and shake and someone popped out giving me a heck of a fright.
"HEY!"
"WHOA!" I said hopping backwards with myself still hanging out.
"OMG! COVER UP! No one wants to see that!" She said covering her eyes
I got a closer look at her and then I gasped "Annabelle!"
"Yep that's me!" She giggled hugging me.
"What are you doing here?" I asked but so happy to see her.
"I came here to find you!" She said worried "I need your help"
I eyed her a bit "I'm on a date here Anna"
"But this is an emergency Stuarts in trouble!" She says
I got wide in the yes and my heart stops "Stuart!" I gasped "What happened to him!"
"Something terrible happened I need you to return to kliptoon now!"
"Now! But Jennifer..." I start to say
"Tyler Stuarts life is at stake you need to come right now" She begged me with tears.
I knew I couldn't let Stuart down "Stay here!" I raced back over to where I left Jenny and woke her up.
"*Yawns* Oh I must've fallen asleep" She said rubbing herself
I kneel down to her "Jenny listen to me I have an emergency and I need to go now!"
She gasped "Tyler we're on a date!"
"I know but this is a life-or-death situation, I have to go now, I promise I'll make it up to you!" I gave her my deepest look I knew she couldn't resist.
She sighed and grinned "Go on I'll make my way back home, but you owe me!" She said in a flirting tone
"You're the best!" I kissed her one last time before racing back to the bushes, Annabelle was sitting in the tree till she saw me come back.
"Annabelle take me to Kliptoon!" I ordered.
"Finally!" She said as she clicked on her watch and right above us the ship appeared, like always we were beamed aboard and then set off into deep space. It was not long as we went into warp speed and instantaneously arrived back on Kliptoon, but not how I remembered it.
Fire was burning everything and aliens were screaming and ducking and taking cover as laser beams shoot down from the thick fog high above us and Vaporized everything in sight.
"Annabelle what's happening here!?" I panicked
"The leptons are invading!" She grumbled. I didn't know much about the Leptons alien race, but from what Stuart told me every now and then they were bad news to the kliptoonians and now I could see why.
"This is awful!" I said shaking my head
"It gets worse look!" She said turning my attention ahead, the royal palace was being overrun with Lepton ships and raiders, I could see some of them trying to break into the place but the might warrior guards were driving them away pretty well. But all I was worried about was Stuart.
"Where's stuart!?"
"WE'RE GOING TO HIM!" Anna said as we flew past the castle and over the water in the back of the palace. The palace was built on a cliff that was right in front of open waters on the planet. So we had to search a few miles off the coast until we landed on this little island not to far from the rest of the place.
We raced off the ship and I followed Annabelle into the thick set of trees and stuff till we reached a small open place where all the royal family was along with the servants in the castle
"Mum!" Annabelle said racing to her mums side.
"Stuart!" I said racing to his side. He lit up when he saw me "Tyler man am I gad to see you"
"Yeah what's going on here?"
"Leptonians are invading! It started yesterday after you left and it's just been getting worse and worse"
"What do they want with Kliptoon?"
"They want me!"
"YOU!"
He nods "Yes! They want Stuart to take him away from us without him we will have no ruler for the throne of Kliptoon" King Marcellus said.
"What about Mario?" Everyone frowned and got on the verge of tears
"Mario's Gone!" Stuart declared.
"What?!" I couldn't believe what I was hearing
"They took him away when he was trying to save me, they cut him down right in front of me!" Stuart dropped his head and when I looked I could see Queen Mary-Alice weeping and so was Rida.
"Stuart I'm sorry!"
"And now they're searching for Stuart to take him away too, so then Kliptoon will have no Ruler when me and Mary-Alice are gone and they can have total control!" King Marcellus said.
"And Rida?" I asked she was leaning against one of her servants crying hard and her makeup was running.
There was sighing "If they find her she'll be put into the dungeon to serve as the leptons sex slave" The queen declared making Rida cry even harder.
I cringed "That's disgusting!"
"So now we have to hide the kids throughout the galaxy!" King said and turned to face his daughter "Quanta dear you're going to be staying with our allied friends on the planet Elfazor!"
"Yes Father!" Rida said.
"And what about Stuart!" I feared this would be the last time I really saw him.
"That's why we brought you here Ty. I was wondering if you would allow me to stay in your home with you on earth!"
"ME!?"
"Earth is so far away from this galaxy they would never find me there and you're my best friend. I need you!"
"But I mean, how would I even hide an alien being in my own home?"
"I can transform myself into a normal earth gnome your family will never know!"
"I don't know Stuart!" I said still thinking this was a bad idea.
"Tyler please you're my only hope!" He pleaded.
This was a big thing I was doing, Stuart was my friend and I couldn't just abandon him like this he needed me and I needed him.
"Alright I'll do it!" I smiled happily
Everyone cheered after that "Yes thank you!" Stuart said grasping me in a hug.
Not long after that the King and Queen began to disperse their 2 remaining kids. Frida was the first to leave with her spacecraft and her luggage and all. She looked so sad and unhappy, we all were.
"Take care of yourself sweetie!" Queen Mary-Alice said with tears.
"We'll see you again my young Daughter!"
"Goodbye mother, Father!" Rida cried holding onto them.
She let them go and then headed over towards me and Stuart and Annabelle "Bro I know we haven't been close but, you're still my brother and I love you!"
Stuart smiled and held her hands "I love you too sis, I hope we'll see each other again someday!"
She smiled and cried at once "Me too!" they engaged in a brother-sister hug "Take care baby brother!" She gave him a small kiss on the cheek before letting him go and walking away on board her ship. She took one last look at us and blew us all kisses before she closed the door and her spacecraft took off into deep space.
I look over to Stuart he still had a small frown on his face, it must have been hard saying goodbye to both his siblings on the same day. Annabelle came and comforted him and so did I "You'll see her again!" I tell him
"Yeah but for how long?" He wondered. Then he looked over to his sides and sighed "Guess I should be leaving now too, before the Leptons get onto me" Stuart said as we walked back to his ship again. "And Tyler again thank you for doing this for me
"That's what friends are for" I said high fiving him.
The King and Queen came over to us and the queen gave her son a huge hug "Sweetie I love you, be brave for everyone"
"I love you too mum I'm going to miss you!" Stuart grabbed his mums dress tighter crying harder.
He let go when his dad came to him "You're a strong kid Son, and I know you'll be safe, guarded by a true friend" King Marcellus grinned to me and I grinned too.
"He'll be safe sir, I promise!" I said as he smiled to me.
Stuart came back to my side and we walked with my arms around him as we boarded his ship until... "Wait!" I heard Annabelle scream as she came running to us "I'm coming with you!" She said.
"But-" I asked.
She cut me off "No buts! I'm not leaving you Ker-job I love you!" She said taking his hand
Stuart smiled at her deeply "I love you too Klee-gab!" He said kissing her "But you're not coming!"
"What!" She snapped
"No you can't go I'd feel better if you just stayed here!"
Annabelle began to tear up "But I'll miss you and I might not ever see you again!" She said crying.
Stuart lifted her chin and gave her a serious look "Yes you will, you'll see me again. But just remember this I'll always love you!"
"I'll always love you too!" And they began to embrace into another deep kiss.
I began to hear zapping noise and more screams of terror. I looked behind me and saw ships approaching us at a rapid pace. "Hey can you 2 wrap it up I think trouble's coming our way!" I said seeing lepton ships approaching us.
"You boys get out of here and good luck!" King said to us, we bowed back and raced away. Stuart started off the ship and faster than you can snap your fingers we were heading off into deep space and at warp drive we were back at earth in a matter of seconds.
"Where's your home Tyler!"
"Down there!" I pointed to my alley way. Stuart set the ship down and cloaked it so it was invisible and transparent to everyone.
"Let's go!"
I gasped when something came to mind "Wait!" I pulled him back. "You can't go around looking like that everyone will know you're an alien"
"No problem!" He winked, he pressed a button on his watch and he changed from his alien form into a Earth gnome form. A green hat, copper hair and brown eyes, instead of blood red, small freckles on his nose, green shirt and black pants, instead of his space suit and no wings or antennae at all. "Well"
"Nice you'll totally fit in" I said walking him down the alley and into the red garden gate. I gestured for him not to say anything until I told him too and we casually strolled inside, so far gnomes that noticed Stuart just smiled and wave and he did the same, but that was until we got to my friends
"Hey guys!" I smiled to my friends
"Tyler!" They all chant "Who's your friend?" Bennie asked
I pulled him to my side "Guys this is Stuart, he's an old friend of mine!"
"Hey Stuart!" They greeted
Stuart waved "Hey! Nice to meet you all" He grinned.
"Hey Stuart you know how to wrestle?" Bennie asked
"Sure watch this!" He grabbed my arm and flipped me face down and then did a pile drive on me. I would have said something but he was just trying to fit in.
"AWESOME!" My friends said crowding around him now, I got up and rubbed my back.
Jennifer came to my side and helped me up "You alright!" She asked I nodded. Stuart was only here for 3 minuets and he was already making a good impression on everyone, I liked he was fitting in and all but there as still the matter of him staying with me I had to talk out with my parents.
"Sorry to rush off guys but I need to find my parents right now! Me and Stuart will be back soon" I said taking Stuart and rushing off.
"You're friends are cool!" He tells me "I know" I gloat. We walked over to the other side of the alley and into my garden, Stuart gaped looking all around the place. "Nice"
I was so busy looking to Stuart I didn't notice I bumped into someone and they went falling, It was just my Parents "Oops sorry mum and dad"
"No worries Tyler!" Dad smiled "Who's your friend?" He asked.
'I'm Stuart!" Stuart introduced himself. "Nice to meet you"
"You too Stuart!" Mum smiled
"And mum and Dad there's something I need to discuss with you" I said getting nervous.
"Sure Tyler what?"
I gulped and sucked it in "You see uhm, I wanted to ask you if Stuart could stay here with us for a while?"
They went wide in the eyes "Uhm! Under what circumstances?" Dad asked.
"Well you see a few years ago my parents kind of left one day and never came back leaving me and my older siblings alone and just previously my older brother passed away in a terrible accident and my sister just ran off on me and now I don't have anywhere else to go" Stuart was an good liar, we couldn't really tell them the truth they'd never believe me.
"Oh Stuart I'm so sorry to hear that!" Mum said frowning.
"Guys I know this is sudden and all but, Stuart's my best friend and he really needs me and you both taught me to never turn my back on a friend!" I said giving them the sad puppy eye look.
They both looked at each other and then grinned "Stuart stay as long as you need" Dad smiled
Both our faces lit up "Mum, Dad you're the best!" I said hugging them both. "C'mon stuart let me show you my room you can stay there with me" I raced up to my room and he smiled
"Nice place" He nods
"Yep casa de Tyler"
"It's smaller than my room back home" He said.
"You'll get use to it!" I said opening up the curtains to let the light in. "So you can take that side of the room"
"No thanks I'll crash under here every night" He said crawling under my bed it was dark under there so all I could see now were his blood glowing eyes.
I got confused "But Stuart it's dark and dirty and smelly under there"
"I know we Kliptonians love filthy dirty places" He chuckled.
I gave him a weird eyed look "Okay"
"Hey you got anything to eat around here I'm starving"
"Dinner's coming soon we can just chill till then" I said flicking on the T.V
"Wow you're planet has a lot of wonders!" he said never seeing a TV before
I shake my head at his silliness "Stuart you have a lot to learn about life on earth"
Later that Day during dinner time me and Stuart were playing around with our food a little bit like boys do. "Boys no playing with your food" Mum eyed
"Sorry!"
"I still can't believe you're letting Tyler keep his friend here and I'm not allowed to have my friends here!" Jr. argues
"This is on a different set of circumstances" Dad tells him
"Yeah right you're just playing favorites dad!"
"Yeah like there wasn't enough kids around here to deal with" Violet snapped.
"Kids Stuarts here and he'll stay here for as long as he needs and I expect you all to make him feel welcome!"
"Yes mum!"
"So Stuart what do you like to do?" Jake asked.
"Waste surfing, Vine swinging and Bungee jumping into the gorge pits of Voltas" He said, everyone was giving him the weirdest looks ever. I nudged him to dumb down on the alien talk.
Stuart gave a nervous grin before continuing "Those are common activities where I come from"
"*Scoff* Where do you come from space?" Violet joked, even though in reality she was right.
"Well it's very far like I would be from space, but I'm not from space if that's what your insisting!" Stuart said and everyone gave those looks again.
"Anyways...Mum did I tell you how good this dinner is" I said trying to change the topic
"Thanks sweetie!"
"Yeah I've never had taco salad back home, there delicious" Stuart said chowing down.
"Stuart how long's it been since you had a home?" Mum wondered
"Well when my parents left me and my siblings and I were kind of forced into the streets. We just found places to stay for one night and never really settled down anywhere"
"That's got to sting!" Dad shook his head.
"I know how you feel, I had to sleep in a lot of strange places too when I was searching for my family" Jake said bringing that up again.
Stuart looked to me like what was he talking about, "Oh we had to give up Jake at birth and then years later he went on this journey to find us!" I explain.
We headed off to bed and Stuart crawled his way under my bed and stayed there, now I could only see his red eyes glowing in the dark. "You sure you're ok down there!" He said he was and I just let him have it.
"Ty you're family's pretty cool" Stuart smiled
"They are, but also major pains!" I sighed.
That's when my parents came inside "Just came in to say goodnight" Mum said but then frowned "Where's Stuart?"
"Here I am!" He waved his hand out from under the bed, my parents gave weird looks "Stuart what are you doing under there?"
"I'm sleeping under here!"
They both looked to each other "You sure you wouldn't like to sleep on the couch, under the beds not really the best place to sleep"
"I'm good really!" He called back.
"Well Goodnight boys"
"Goodnight mum and Dad" I smiled
"Goodnight, and again thanks for letting me stay here" Stuart said
"Our pleasure Stuart, sleep tight" And they closed the door and left both all alone.
I let out a monstrous Yawn "Man I'm beat"
"I hear ya...Hey I probably should've mentioned this before but, I tend to snore at night"
I fluffed my pillow and rested on it "No worries I can sleep through snoring...Goodnight" I flicked off the lights and turned around to sleep...Then I began to hear this terrible noise from under my bed I looked down there and Stuart was out-cold snoring the night away like a maniac, he was so loud I bet the neighbors were going to complain to stop it and I couldn't sleep with all this racket.
"Stu, Stuart...wake up!" I screamed but he was snoring to loud, I tried to touch him but he was too far in.
Stuart was out cold and my room was filled with obnoxious snoring. I pulled the pillow over my head this was going to be a long night.
"Hey Ty sleep well"
I glared over to him "Not really!" I said in a crabby mood.
"Well I did I feel ready to start the day" He said racing down the stairs and I carried along half asleep. I walked into the kitchen and my whole family looked as dead and tired as I was.
"I take it Stuarts snoring kept you all awake too"
"Yes!" They all snapped.
Stuart grinned nervously "Sorry I can't help it!"
"That's okay Stuart we'll get use to it as long as your here"
"Yeah how long are you going to be here exactly?" Violet asked
"Violet!" Dad glared.
"Just asking so I know what how many days I'll be deprived of sleep"
He looked to me and I shrugged "As long as your parents let me" Stuart said plopping in a chair next to me.
"Stuart don't you have any relatives to stay with?" Mum asked
"No my parents were only children no aunts, no uncles, no cousins, no grandparents, no family anymore *sigh* it's just me" He sighed as I patted his back.
"Hey look at this!" Dad gasped.
"What is it?" Mum asked
"They said there was an alien sighting last night" Dad said
I almost choked on my breakfast "Alien sighting?" I looked over at Stuart with a nervous look.
"Yes, well an Alien ship anyway" He says. This was not good, what if they found out about Stuart.
"You okay bro?" Jake asked seeing me so nervous
I nod my head "W-where was it seen?" I asked Dad.
"Flying over Shakespeare park...hey that's right down the street from here, what a weird coincidence"
"Uhm are you sure it was here in Avon? maybe they made a mistake" I said sweating and getting more nervous.
Dad shook his head "Nope it was here?"
"An alien spaceship" Mum smiled.
"Maybe we're under an alien invasion!" Bruno joked around.
"Aliens don't exists fool!" Violet snapped.
"How do you know that?" Juno asked
"Cause I'm smarter than you!" Both of them stuck out their tongues
"You never know violet there are things out there" Vanessa said.
After Breakfast I raced Stuart up to my room and barricade the door. "Oh this it not good" I pace around freaked out.
"Dude what's gotten you all worked up?"
"Did you not here what my dad said! Alien spaceship"
"So?" He said not really caring.
I looked at him like he was crazy "So everything someone found your ship!"
"What makes you think it's mine?" He joked around but this was not the time for it.
"Stu how many other aliens are on this planet?"
"You never know Alien can blend in with other Gnomes, there could be Aliens everywhere and you wouldn't know it. I mean your parents don't know"
"Stuart this is serious! do you know what could happen to you if anyone found out?"
"That's why I'm here with you. You'll keep my secret right?"
"Yes! but it's going to be hard keeping this secret I mean someone already spotted your ship, next time it could be worse!"
"Oh yeah I'm so worried" He said sarcastically.
"How are you so calm in this situation!" I snapped at him and he gave me a weird look "I can see You're not even the tiniest bit worried someone might find out about you and take you away to get experimented on and here I am worried about both of us cause if they ever find out I was harboring an alien life form no telling what'll happen to me along with you and yet you don't care and I'm worrying like mad" I said panicking like a mad gnome.
Stuart grabbed hold of me "Ty chill out will ya! you're getting worked up over nothing" He said shaking me back to normal.
"But what about the ship?"
"What about it!"
"They could find out its a real ship!"
"OR...They could think it's a hoax, I mean I've watched life on earth you all play tricks on each other, what's saying they won't think this is a trick?"
"I guess but still..."
"Dude would you relax no one's going to find out, trust me" He gave me that trust me look.
I took in a deep breath and sighed "Alright Fine I'll trust you"
"Good now can we put that aside and let's go have some fun..." "So...what exactly do you do for fun around here?"
"Before we have fun of any kind we have to do chores"
"Chores gross, back on Klipton I never had to do chores on my life"
"Well you're here now and we do chores" I argued.
"Oh c'mon dude"
"No exception!" I said sounding like my dad, that made us both laugh "But if you help me we can go out and do stuff faster" I hand him a pair of hedge clippers
He threw them out of my hand "I've got a better Idea" He said pushing me aside. He took in a few deep breaths and then using his alien powers he instantly got all my chores done for me. I dropped my mouth open, now all my chores were done and I had the rest of the day to goof off.
He looked back at me "Now can we go do something fun?"
"Sure!" I said racing to the gate with him on my tail.
Inside the main garden I found my friends talking before we walked up "Tyler! they smile
"And Stuart!" I said nudging Stuart on the arm.
"Bro you got to check this out!" Jake pulled us over to the rest of the gang "Bennie show them!" Bennie was on her tablet showing everyone something.
"Guys check this out it says some gnomes late in the park last night spotted an real live alien!" She screeched.
"ALIENS!" We crowd Bennie as they show the film taken late last night, it did look alien like and not just any alien either.
"Wow a real alien!" Jake gasped
I scoff "Oh C'mon that could been a guy dressed as an alien" I say hoping to draw their interest away.
"Looked pretty real to me" Stuart said not really helping.
"So guys anyone want to do anything!" I hoped to draw their attention to something else.
"Uh..." No one really had anything to say but it didn't matter once I saw Stuart walking away from us "Stuart?" I asked following behind him.
I caught him at the gate "Are you alright?!" I asked
He sighed "Yeah, just feeling a bit homesick I guess"
I placed a hand to his shoulders "You miss your family don't you?"
He nods "Yeah I've never been without them but who I really miss is..." There was a knock on the gate I walked over to answer it and there was this green hatted girl with choppy hair and a smooth face looking at me.
"Uhm can I help you"
"Tyler?" She asked me smiling
"Yeah!" I asked curiously who was this girl and how'd she know my name
"Who's this?" Stuart asked popping up next to me
The girl gasped when she was him "Stuart!" she cried
Stuart gave her a weird look "Who are you?" Stuart asked
She got closer "You don't recognize me maybe this'll help" She leaned closer and gave him a long kiss.
Stuart got stunned for a moment and then looked at her again in a whole new way. "Annabelle!" Stuart grabbed her and picked her in his arms.
"No way!" I gasped
"Yes way it really is me!"
"You look different"
"I took the form of an earth Gnome"
"What are you doing here?" Stuart asked
"I missed you!" She said looking to him in that way.
"I missed you too!" Stuart said kissing her.
"Gross!" I laughed looking away.
"Well since you're here A.B I'l introduce you to everyone" We introduced Annabelle to everyone and they all seemed to like her very much, but if she was going to stay here she needed to stay with me so no one knew her secret so now she and Stuart were here with me and it was fun Until one day...
"Hey guys!" I waved to Stuart and Annabelle when I saw them
"What you doing?" They asked seeing me with my friends
"Tyler's was showing me some Fight moves!" Jake said.
"Fight moves, Like this!" Stuart took my arm and flipped me over that amazed my friends.
"Whoa do that again?" Monty asked.
I got to my feet "Uh actually..."
"I'll do it!" Annabelle took my arm and flipped me over and body slammed on me.
"Awesome!" My friends all rallied against my alien friends "You 2 are cool, you got any more moves to show us"
I got a bit jealous and left, I couldn't believe my friends were more interested in them than me I was suppose to be the cool one. "Ty!" I turned to see my friends looking at me I just rolled my eyes
"Aren't you guys suppose to be impressing my friends" I scoffed.
"What's the matter with you?" A.B asked
"Nothing you guys need to concern yourselves with, especially when my friends think you're both so cool"
"Dude are you just jealous?"
"Jealous of what, you?"
"Yeah!" He snapped "Ever since I got here you've been totally spazzed out"
"Well excuse me for worrying about my best friend"
"Tyler you just need to calm down, I'm fine and nothing's going to happen"
"I know"
"Good now can you keep an eye on Annabelle until I return" He said running off
I walked around to find where Annabelle had gone and found her climbing up a tree branch "ANNABELLE" I shout I must've frightened her cause she feel backwards out of the tree. I raced over and caught her and she fell right in my arms.
"Tyler you saved me thank you" She smiled giving me a kiss on the cheek.
"TYLER!" I was shocked when I looked up and saw Jennifer looking at me with a shocked face
"Jenny!" I said nervously "H-how long have you been standing there?"
"Long enough to see you kiss her?" She snapped walking away.
I set Annabelle on her feet and raced after her "Jenny wait it wasn't like that I just caught her when she fell and she gave me a little thank you kiss"
"I don't believe that, In fact I never want to see you again, were done!" She said, I couldn't believe that.
"Oh c'mon you're really going to leave me because of a small friend kiss?"
Yes. " She shoved me and ran away crying. I just stood there looking like what just happened, I couldn't believe that actually just happened.
"Tyler I'm..." She tried to say but I just stomped away from her "Tyler!" She chased after me
"Hey Ty where you going?" Stuart asked following me "What's the matter?"
"Tyler's girlfriend saw me kissing him and thought he cheated on her"
"You kissed him?" Stuart snapped.
"On the cheek!" Annabelle finished. "And now he just got dumped!"
"Tyler I'm sorry!"
"YOU SHOULD BE!" I snapped at him
"Tyler!"
"You know stuart I thought you being here would be fun but it's not! Ever since you got here nothing's gone right for me and now I lose Jenny too!"
"That wasn't my fault!" He eyed me.
"Oh no! Sometimes I think I'd be better off if I didn't have you as a friend at all!"
"If that's how you feel maybe I should just go!"
"Maybe you should!" I said turning my back on him
"Stu wait!" I raced into my garden to go after him. He was standing by the pond skipping stones around "Stu"
"Now what do you want?" He turned away
"Look I'm sorry. It's just...I never get to see you that much and you're like my best friend and the coolest one I have and I guess I was just worried because I've never had a friend like you"
Stuart turned and faced me and smiled "Hey makes you feel better; you're the coolest gnomes I've ever had as a friend!" I smiled glad to see we were both still cool.
The next day...
Everyone was gathered at the table eating breakfast and talking me and Stu were goofing around laughing like boys do. "So Stu I've got this great idea for us today..."
I got interrupted when the door rang getting our attention "Who could that be!"
"I'll get it!" Dad says as I join him as he opens the door.
Some Government officials were at our door I was now officially freaked out, with my heart beating faster then ever and sweat on my hands.
"Can we help you gentleman?" Dad asked.
"Excuse our interruption but we have reason to believe an alien is located in this area?" One said in a deep threatening voice.
"Aliens that can't be right?" Mum said.
"Unless you mean my sister" Jr said pushing Violet net to him.
"I'm sorry gents but you must be confused there's no alien hiding around here" Dad said.
I began to back away slowly from the others and out into the garden "Tyler!" I meet Annabelle halfway
"Annabelle can you go and wait for me and Stuart outside the gate!" I beg her she didn't ask questions but she just did it and left.
I slipped away and found Stuart still over by the pond looking at his reflection. "Stuart!" I said racing to them as fast as I could.
"Tyler what's the matter?" He asked.
"No time for that but C'mon" I gripped him and ran with him behind me
"Where we going?"
"Away from here. I gotta get you out of here before..."
"FREEZE!"
"Hmm Too late!" I slowly turned around those government dudes were closing in on us I grabbed his arms and backed into the wall.
"Uh is there a problem officers?" I asked nervously.
"Grab him!" The other officer came and gripped both my arms and Stuarts
"Hey get your hands off me!" Stuart and I fidget in his tight grip
"Hey what are you doing let my son go!" Dad snapped
"These two are coming with us!" They said.
I looked at Stuart and he looked at me. "You guys must be confused he's my son!" Mum came by my side hugging me.
"Let him go!" They released me and I ran to my mums arms "What about Stuart?" I asked.
"He's coming with us!" They began dragging him away
"No he's not!" I race after them and grab Stuarts arm as we begin a tug-of-war game
"Tyler stop!" Mum and Dad shout but I ignore them.
"Young man I suggest you let go you're interfering with government issues!"
"Please you don't know what you're doing!" I try to tell them
"If you don't let go we're going to have to use force of you!"
"Then do it I'm not letting go!" I use all my strength and rip Stuart free of their grip, he seemed relived I did that.
"After him you fool!" The lead man said I stood in front of Stuart for protection.
"No! you have to get through me if you want him!" I state boldly
"Taser him!" The pull their Taser guns on me and shoot but I'd rather get Taser then have them take Stuart from me.
"No!" Stuart jumps out in front of me and grabs the wires he's absorbs the shocks pretty well. But I could see fire and anger in his eyes as he flips them over and onto the dirt.
"WHOA!" All my family gasp seeing how inhumanly strong he was to do that.
I looked deeply at Stuart as I could see the fire emerging in his eyes. He used his enormous alien strength and flung those two guys against the walls. I was pretty impressed myself but also feared for him more than ever now.
Stuart was still charged with electrical shock from the Taser and now it was time for him to do a little payback "Get ready to feel the shock" There came an huge rupture and lighting zapped everywhere blinding me for a moment and leaving a lot of dust.
When the dust cleared my worst fears had finally been realized. Stuart had finally revealed his true Identity, he was now transformed back into his alien form and everyone could see it.
"ALIENS!" Kelly screamed. Everyone all took a step back in fear of him now but I knew what he was and I didn't fear him just worried for him.
"YOU ARE THE ALIEN" One government dude said standing up
"We found it bring her down" The other said talking into a communicator watch, this could only mean trouble.
I heard the sounds of helicopter spinning and sure enough there were Government copters hovering all above our heads they looked big and terriying. The wind they caused was blowing dust but I could still see enough when those two guys crept behind Stuart and restrained him n locks
"LET ME GO!" He struggled as hey load him on the ship
"STUART!" I raced after them until I felt something pull me back
Dad was holding me "Tyler what are you insane!"
"I need to save him"
"No you're not!" The more I struggle the more he holds me down'
"Tyler, Help!" Stuart said trying to break free but it was already too late the copter took off and flew away. "NO!" I screamed
I finally let loose of Dad's grip but sadly my family was giving me bad looks
"Tyler what were you thinking, An Alien!" Mum screamed
"Why did you guys give him up like that?" I screamed back
"I'm sorry Tyler but we couldn't let anything happen to you"
"But Stuarts not dangerous!"
"He's an alien" Vanessa snapped.
"So just because of what he is you think he's dangerous!" I snapped "You both saw him did he look Dangerous?"
"Did you not just see what he did?" Violet said looking around half the garden was messed up.
"He was scared he didn't know what he was doing!"
"And you did?" Jr eyed.
"He was my friend I had no choice and I knew you wouldn't allow it if you knew the truth"
"Tyler you could've put us all in danger" Dad states seriously
"Stuart was in more Danger and now he's gone" I sighed looking at my feet. I huffed and walked towards the door
"Where are you going"
"To save my friend"
" 'RE NOT" Dad
"DAD LET GO!" I snapped
"Tyler I don't want you anywhere near that alien again" Mum says seriously.
"You can't do that!"
"I just did"
"Stuart's my buissness and my friend and I'm going to get him"
"The only place you're going is to your room"
"NO!" I cross my arms
"Tyler don't argue with me" Mum got mad now and so was I.
"Don't argue with me"
"Don't talk that way to your mother Tyler"
"You guys aren't he boss of me"
Dad crossed his arms "On the Contrary"
"I'm going after him"
"You're going to your room" Mum yanked my arm and pulled me back "ROOM NOW"
"But..."
"TYLER!" They both yelled at me ending this discussion.
I gave them both bad looks "I HATE YOU BOTH" I raced the other way to my room, by choice and slammed the door hard.
I just couldn't Believe my friend was gone, Stuart was gone and there was nothing I could do about it. I cried into my pillow for a second and then sleep found me sometime into the night, that's when I was awoken by some tapping noise.
"Tyler!" I hear a voice outside my window. I open it and look out
"Hello?"
"Down here!" I look and see
"Annabelle!" I said relieved
"Ty get down here!" She demands
I slid down the rain gutter and into her face "What's up?"
"I saw those guys take Stuart away? what did they do to him?" She asks but I stayed silent
"WHAT DID THEY DO TO HIM!?" She freaked out
"I don't know!" I whisper slapping her off me "They just took him and I don't know where?" I said frowning.
"Well you gotta help me get him back!"
"Get him back? How? He's in a max. security prison filled with guards and gov't officials!"
"Tyler I need you!"
"But...
"Stuart needs you please!" She begged.
I saw how upset she look and I was even more upset. Stuart was my best friend he had my back when I needed him and now he needed me even more, there was no way I was gonna let Stuart go that easily "Annabelle...Let's get Stuart back!" I say boldly/
"Tyler!" I heard someone shout my name and I turned to see Jake.
"Jake what are you doing out here get back home right now!" I order him.
"No! what are you doing?"
"I'm going to save Stuart"
"What are you crazy?" He snapped
"No I'm not! Stuarts my friend...and I don't turn my back on a friend"
"He's an alien!"
"All the more reason I have to get him out of there, no telling what they'll do to him"
"Tyler"
"Don't Tyler me, I have to do this!"
"Okay but really how do you expect to pull this off, you're breaking into a government lab"
"That's why he's got me!" Annabelle came beside me
"There's another one!"
Annabelle frowned "The name's Annabelle squirt"
"It's Jake not squirt"
"Settle down you 2" I said and then glared over to my brother "And Jake go back home!"
"What and leave you with creepy aliens no way!"
"Jake this is too dangerous for you, now go!"
"It's too dangerous for you too, I can't let you do this alone and with her!"
"Oh really and just what could you do that I couldn't do?"
"I am the master of stealth"
"And I can do this!" Annabelle said and then started to fly around zapping things with her laser eyes.
Jake rolled his eyes "Showoff!"
"Jake seriously go home!"
"No I'm coming with you, please!"
"I thought you wanted me not to help Stuart!"
"I can see he really means a lot to you and you're my brother, we're always suppose to be there for each other. You may not realize it now but you will need my help"
"Bro you're the best"
"Ahem" Annabelle said "Hate to break up the brother love fest but we have someone to save"
"But how do we get there in time?" Jake wondered.
"Yeah Stuart hid the ship somewhere and I don't know where?"
"We don't need the ship, Just hand on tight" Annabelle grabbed both our arms and flew off into the skies. We flew high into the air and brushed into the clouds of the nighttime sky. Below everything looked so beautiful like millions of twinkling lights beneath our feet and as we passed by the moon it shined on us all.
Jake gasped "Amazing!"
"I know right"
"It's cold up here"
"You get use to it!"
"Where to now boys?" Annabelle asked
"Keep your eyes peeled for the Laboratory, it's big, white...
"And does it have an eerie teal glow to it?" Jake asked
I looked to him "What makes you say that?" Jake pointed to his side and I could see the bright glow coming off from the laboratory. "You found it nice work bro!"
"Hang on boy were going, DOWN!" She swooped down and we came in at a thousand per hour, I felt my skin peeling back as we came in for a landing and we crashed into the ground like an asteroid.
"Sorry boys!"
"Uh my aching...everything!" I said puling myself up "Bro you alright!"
"Other than the pain in my back *snaps spine* I'm better now" He gave a thumbs up.
"Oh my gosh Stuart!" Annabelle cried as I comforted here. I shushed her as we hid low till everyone was out of the room "You 2 stay here I'm going for him" Instruct and then make a break for it.
Stuarts case was cold and he looked so sad, I didn't know if he was going to survive in there but he was getting out of there no matter what. I tapped the glass to get his attention and he looked up at e with weak eye "Stuart!" I smiled seeing him there.
"Tyler what are you doing here!"
"Getting you outta here!" I said boldly.
I looked around the place for a blunt object, I found a rusty piece of long steel beside me, it was heavy and solid this should be perfect. "Hang on Stu I'll get you out of there" I lined up my shot and hurled. Glass and liquid shattered everywhere and Stuart was set free.
"Stuart!" I race towards him as he coughed and gagged but he was alright.
"Thanks mate I can always count on you" Stuart said hugging me.
"Thank me when we get out of here, GUYS!" I shout to the others.
"STUART!" Annabelle cried racing over and kissing him "I though I'd never see you again" She cried.
He gripped her in his arms "Me too!"
"Guys I hear someone coming!" Jake warned us, we could hear voices and footsteps coming in too "Time to bail!" We picked up Stuart and all hopped out the window and raced out the back, there were no gate so we could make it into the lot pretty easily but that was when the trouble happened.
There were alarms and siren and flashing lights everywhere as we looked back to see mass panic and shouting "I think they found out we escaped" Jake chuckled
"Run for it!" I say as we all make a break for the fence.
I hear screaming and shouting and some people were chasing after us, spotlights and everything were in our direction, and more were cacthing up to us fast.
"We're never going to outrun them" Jake said
"We don't need to!" Stuart said as he pressed a button and then his spaceship appeared right above us. "All aboard!" He said as the tracker beam beamed us all aboard his ship he took the controls and then started to fly away with it away from the government laboratory.
"We did it! Mission complete!" I say fist pounding Jake.
"Where should we drop you brother off at Tyler?" Stuart asked.
"At home!" I said taking Jake by the arm and kneeling down to him "Thanks for coming with me bro!"
"Anytime Bro!" He smiled and hugged me.
"So now what?"
"Well I have to go back to my home planet" Stuart says
I get very concerned "Stu what about those enemies!"
"I'll be fine! I've got Annabelle with me!" He says making me smile. "We're here!" Stuart said as we arrived just above our Garden "Uh oh!" We heard Stuart say.
"What's the matter?" I asked
"Us you boys might wan to see this" Annabelle said we walked over to the window and saw what they saw and gasped hard. The police gnomes, Gnome FBI. Detective gnomes, And Gnome federal government were ransacking the place, our whole garden was just crawling with them and Helicopters were hovering above them with lights flashing down
"My god look at this place, our garden is crawling with authorities" Jake whispered
"Tyler it's worse look down there!" Jake pointed, in the middle of the garden under a helicopter light my Parents and my siblings were all crowded together talking to some authorities, even from high in the air I could see my mum bawling and crying.
"Mum, Dad!" I said gasping. I looked over at all of this, this was no one else fault but mine "Look what I've done. I made us the wanted family in the entire gnome realm"
"It wasn't your fault Tyler you were helping a friend" Jake said patting my back
"Who what's happening?" Annabelle screamed trying to remain steady.
I looked out the window and FBI Copters were surrounding us shooting everywhere "They found us!" I yelled "Go Go Go!" I make Stuart get us out of this place.
They were just blasting away at us an we couldn't shake em "All this blasting is damaging the ship I can't hold out much longer" Stuart says.
"Then get us out of here!"
I feel something yank my shirt "But wait our homes down there!" Jake reminds me.
There was another hard blast that made us all jump "We can't stay here much longer!" Anna says
"Tyler you and Jake have to jump home!" Stuart said
"Jump! Are you insane?" Jake snapped.
BLAST
We got hit with another zap rocking the ship even more. "Guys you have to go now or it'll be too late" Annabelle said throwing us both parachutes and pushing us out of the control room.
"But Annabelle..."
"Just go Tyler we'll be alright!" She said smiling and closed the door
"Anna, no ANNA!" I raced and tried to open the door again but it was locked tight. I banged my head on the door and sighed, Then I heard a hissing noise and looked behind me, the ground was opening up causing Jake to run behind me. It was the entrance to the ship and down below I could see our garden.
"Boys this is your drop zone jump now or it'll be too late!" I heard Stuarts voice come over the speakers.
I looked down to the parachute in my hand and sighed. Once I jumped this would be the last time I see Stuart and Annabelle again, my best friends were just a mere jump from being out of my life for good and I didn't want to lose them at all, I was not going to lose them not like this. I looked down into the opening and I could see my garden and my family once more crying and worrying. I had done so much, befriending an alien, hiding him in my own house, busting him out of a government lab, making my family the most wanted gnomes ever. I felt a tear roll from my eye and I wiped it away I had caused them enough grief for one lifetime, it was better for everyone if I was no longer there.
I clenched the parachute and threw it to the side in anger. I looked up and saw Jake snapping on his parachute and getting ready to Jump, I frowned and looked away from him for a second. "Tyler!" He snapped at me and I saw the confused look on his face. "What are you waiting for we have to jump now!" He tugged my arm.
I snatched it back and sighed "Jake do me a favor; tell mum and dad I'm sorry for all this" I tell him
He grew wide eyed and looked at me "What?!" He shrieked "What are you talking about?"
"I can't leave you go without me!" I say turning away from him
I felt him grab my arm and "No! I'm not leaving you" He begged.
"You have to you can't stay here and I can't go back, not after causing all this!" I said looking away.
"I don't care mum and dad will understand your my brother Tyler, I'm not going without you!" He tells me. I was surprised at his courage and happy too, he was a good little brother.
Bam
We felt the ship rattle and shake again there was another military hit and it was getting worse, I looked down as our garden was coming out of View. There was another shack that made Jake slip backwards and almost fall out the ship.
"Jake!" I said yanking him back and into my arms.
"Thanks bro!" He nudged me.
This was too much I couldn't risk his safety "Jake it's not safe here I'm sorry but you have to go now!" I said shoving him to the door so he could jump.
He stopped in his tracked and turned to me hard "No! I'm not leaving you!" He stated
I glared a bit "I'm not asking!" I grabbed him and threw him off the ship by force.
Down he fell back into our garden "TYLER!" He yelled back at me.
I sighed and looed down as he parachuted back down to safety "Goodbye Jake!" I sighed and closed the door.
"Prepare to eave the earth!" Stuart said Hitting the warp drive button and in like the very next second we were out of the earth and piloting through space.
"We did it we're safe now!" Stuarts said relaxing in his chair.
"You we're great sweetie!" Annabelle said kissing him
"Good job guys!" I smiled walking up to them.
"TYLER!" They both were in shock to see me here "What are you still doing here? we told you and Jake to go" Annabelle said panicking.
"Jake's gone it's just me. I couldn't leave you guys, You're my best friends and I wasn't saying goodbye to you guys now!" I state and they smiled
Stuart smiled and walked over to me "You're a brave kid Tyler, I'll give you that" He said as we both laughed
"But Tyler we're not going to be able to come back to earth, how will you get back to your family?" Annabelle asked concerned
I sighed and looked the other way before answering "I'm...not going back!"
"What!"
"You guys saw what was happening down there all that was because of me if I had been more careful with you guys none of this would be happening. Now because of me my family's probably going to be in big trouble for harboring an alien and what tension would it release if I went back there, I would probably get it worse then them, and I just can't put them through all that" I let it all out of me and then collapsed down in a chair beside me filled with regret, grief and depression.
"I figure if I just left my family would be better off, now they can be!" I sighed rubbing my head trying not to cry as much as I wanted too.
I felt an arm on me and Annabelle sat down beside me with a frown "Tyler I know how you feel but running away isn't going to help you feel better" She said
"As long as my families safe, I'm fine with it!" I tell her.
"Well you're here now and there's no point in going back. I guess this means you can come and live with me at the palace now!" He said smiling
I looked up to him and smiled "We'll never be apart again!" I said as we gave a small hug.
"Here we are back on planet Kliptoon" Stuart said.
That intergalactic Alien battle with the Leptons really left Kliptoon in ruins, everything was either on Fire or in smoldering rubble and ashes and barely standing anymore. We flew low into the planet and over the horizon, the Golden Palace was stile in perfect tact, not a scratch on it, it looked like.
We all smiled "Good to know my home is still here!" Stuart said, We flew up to it and then landed inside as the ceiling opened up and we drooped the ship off in the middle of the throne room like always. Stuart raced out of there first and then looked around the room until he saw 2 familiar faces.
"Mum! Dad!" Stuart cried running to them
"Ker-Job!" His parents said calling him by his real alien name, they raced over and hugged him tightly. "Oh we were so worried about you son!" Queen Mary-Alice.
"I'm alright mum we all are" He said pointing to Annabelle and me.
"Tyler what are you doing back here?' King Marcellus asked
"Something happened when Stuart was with me and now I caused a lot of trouble back home" I said burring my face in my hands, Annabelle came over and comforted me.
"Mum, Dad Tyler needs to stay here with us, if he goes back to earth who knows what'll happen to him!" He said pleading with them.
The king and Queen looked to each other "Tyler feel free to be here as long as you wish!" King welcomed me with open arms.
Stuart lead me to his room, it looked just like an earth home but something about it made it just more...alien-like "You can stay here with me in my room Tyler!"
There was a knock at the door and a servant came in "Sir your parents request a word with you!"
"We'll be right back Ty make yourself at home in the meantime!" Stuart and Anna left me as I just waked around my new surroundings. I looked out the window I could see so many stars and planets that I couldn't see from earth, I could even see my galaxy and somewhere inside was my home planet earth. I was a wreck just thinking about my parents and my family, everything I might've put them through and what they were possible going through right now, If I never go back there it'll be all the better.
"Tyler!" I look back to see someone come in.
"Hey Annabelle where's Stuart?"
"He's on his way! are you okay?"
"Not really! I miss my family, but I can't go back there, not after what I've done!" I place my hands in my face.
She sits next to me by the window "But your life is on earth that's where you grew up and what you know...I bet they really miss you"
"After everyone found out Stuart was an alien the whole government system came after us and who knows what my family's going through. I put my whole family in danger and now I can never go back there" So much guilt was inside me.
"Your family probably misses you!"
"Or hates me and never wants to have anything to do with me again"
"Don't say that, they're your family they'll love you no matter what?" Maybe Annabelle was right. Before I could think it over my arm watch began flashing I answered it Jake was calling me from the watch I gave him.
"Jake what's up?" I smiled seeing him again.
"Bro. Mum and Dad are really worried, you have to come home"
"No!" I state without thinking about it.
"But...
"Jake you saw what I did I put you all in danger"
"You were trying to help a friend"
"And look what happened! I tried to help my fiend and I put you all in danger, now the whole gov't after you"
"No they're after you!"
My eyes grew wide "What?"
"Mum and Dad think Stuart kidnapped you that's why the heats still on!"
"No I left because I didn't want to hurt anyone and I didn't want them to hurt Stuart!" This was just getting worse and worse.
"I told mum and Dad but they didn't believe me, they'll only believe you, you have to come back"
"Jake...I can't" I frowned with so much regret
"Tyler!"
"I'm sorry! I can't and I won't...Goodbye" I clicked him off before I started crying or making a scene, this was too much.
"You really think you made the right choice?" She asks me with disappointment
"No! but this is better for everyone!" I sighed
"I don't think it is!" She tells me and sighs. I look out the window into the sky I could see my Galaxy from here and I knew that my whole life on earth was back there somewhere, and I could never have it back.
The following...
In my Grandparents garden I was taking a stroll all by myself just enjoying the fresh air and warm sun.
"Tyler!" She said jumping into my arms
"Missed me these few couple of days!"
"Only every second!"
"Well I had a problem I was sorting out"
"I know everyone's talking about it..." She laughed "I just can't believe you had an alien friend all this time and couldn't tell me" she smiled
I shrug "I don't like keeping secrets, but I had to protect my best friend" I smiled
"Well he's lucky to have you for a best friend?" She said kissing me.
"Tyler!" I look behind me as Jake was gesturing me over towards my family
I look to Jennifer "Excuse me" I race over towards my family "Yes!"
"You have a visitor?" Mum said smiling
I felt someone tap me on the shoulders and a voice "Guess who?"
"Stuart!"
"And me" Annabelle popped up from behind him
I raced and gave them both hugs "What are you guys doing here"
"We were just passing through the galaxy and I thought my best mate would want to travel through the stars with me" He nudged me
I looked to my parents "Mum, Dad please Can I go?"
"Alright but be back before dinner" Dad smiled. I hug them and race off with stuart onto his ship
"Captain a trip into the stars" Stuart said.
The ship left earth as I waved goodbye to all my family and friends and took my spot right next to my 2 best alien friends, they were not from my world but they sure were out of this world in the best most amazon ways possible.
The 3 of us huddled side by side as we journey into space at warp speed for an epic galaxy voyage.
OK...NONE OF U HAVE ANY IDEA WHAT I WENT THROUGH FOR ALL THIS...THIS WAS THE HARDEST THING I EVER HAD TO DO AND I'M EXHAUSTED FROM IT MAN I JUST WENT ALL OUT ON THIS AND IT TOOK ME OVER A MONTH FOR THIS SO I HOPE YOU ALL ENJOYED IT AS MUCH AS I DID
