LATER THAT DAY
PAIGE POV
The day went smoothly; Ms. Angeles wanted to talk about my plans for Friday. I really want to surprise the girls on what I will do.
"Ms. Angeles" I approach her
"Ohh hi Paige so how's your little special number?" She said then motions me to sit on the chair in front of her table.
"It's all set Ma'am just more practice I think" Then I give her my goofy smile. It is really all set I just have one girl in my mind while practicing.
"I know that you will nail that event! My money is all in you Paige" Ms Angeles said then she laughed.
"I don't think you want to bid for me Ma'am" Then I giggled. Ms Angeles is like an older sister whenever where not in her class.
"Right, because you have all your eyes for a certain person right?" Ms. Angels looked at me mockingly. I'm sure that I turned in to fifty shades of red by now.
"Hahahaha you're blushing, but seriously I really hope you can make a move on her McCullers. I think you're too obvious for her not to notice" I sighed when I hear she said that. I know a smile appears from my face because of the thought on how will my performance affect Spencer.
"Ahmmm Ms. Angeles wait I have a question about the mechanics of that event" I asked her to change the subject and because I'm really clueless on that programme. Ms. Angeles just nod to let me continue
"What will happen if no one will bid for me" That is my fear from the beginning.
"Don't worry Paige it won't happen, but if you're really worried about that I'm sure your friends will know what to do and I can also bid for you and I'm serious about that McCullers. No need to worry about that, someone came her earlier asking if it is possible to bid for someone anonymously and I'm sure that person is rooting for you." Then she gives me that smile again the one that makes her eyes twinkle.
After my little conversation with Ms Angeles I went to the grocery store to buy something for the Fields. Dad can't make it to the dinner so it will be just me, Mrs. Fields and Emily just like before. When I'm about to walk outside, I saw Spencer on the side walk. She is busy with her phone that she didn't notice my presence

Someone riding on a bike is coming to the direction of Paige and Spencer
"Hey!" Paige shouted when she notices the stupid cyclist but due to reflexes she grabbed Spencer by her wrist then pulled her to avoid the reckless cyclist. Paige POV
Spencer and I are just about the same height so when I avert my eyes on her I can see that she is looking straight in to my eyes. I can feel the million butterflies flying in my stomach. I don't know what happen but I just notice that my hand is still holding her wrist and my other hand is on the lower part of her back holding her protectively from all the things that might cause her pain. She is the first one to recover from the shock
"Thank you" She said but still not moving on our position. I quickly removed my hands on her back but didn't bother to let go of her wrist.
I just nod at her I can't still find the courage to say something and destroy the moment we have, if there is any." I slowly removed my gripped from her wrist. But I check if she is really okay
"Are you really okay Spence?" I asked her while running my hands on her arms to check some injuries.
"Yeah I'm okay, don't worry" Then she gave me a genuine smile.
"Good, so are you already heading home?" I asked her. It's my chance to have some alone time with Spencer.
"Yeah, did you just buy some groceries?" She asked then I just nod at her.
"Wow McCullers you really know how to cook now, do you want some Ice cream before we head home?"
"No I'm not the one who cooks this is for Emily and yes I would love to have some ice cream with you."
EMILY POV
I was about to go out to buy some errands for the dinner when I saw Spencer and Paige walking and from my distance I can see them laughing and nudging each other. I waved to them and they jogged to my direction.
"Em! Here I already bought the stuff you need I know your forgetful sometimes." Paige said smiled at me and to Spencer.
"Hi Em I'm on my way too so bye guys!" Spencer said.
"Spence! Wait my dad can't come today" Paige started then she looked at me.
"Em, can Spencer eat with us today for dinner" Paige said with her puppy eyes
"Yeah Spence! Mom didn't see you for a long time" I said when Spencer is about to complain mom cut her off immediately.
"Yes it's been a long time Spencer I want to catch up with you" Mom said then she grabbed Spencer's arm and usher her inside of the house.
"I really love your mom right now" Paige said with her goofy smile.
"You're really making your move huh McCullers?" I said then I attempt to take the paper bag from her. But she stops back so I won't reach it.
"Uh-uh Fields this is a bit heavy just open the door for me please"
I sigh and just open the door for her. Mom and Spencer are already sitting on the breakfast island
"So Spencer you also know Paige huh?" Mom quizzed my bestfriend.
"Uhm yes Mrs. Fields we know each other since freshmen but this year we've been pretty close"
"Arkkk she's blushing!" someone yelled. Spencer and Paige look around and I sigh. Mom's new pet is really weird.
"It's just tippy" I said then I point to where Tippy's cage is located. Paige slowly walks towards the cage.
"Hi there Tippy, I'm Paige" Paige said then she tried to touch Tippy's head but the bird just moved so Paige couldn't reach her.
"Arkkkk!" we heard tippy. Then we all laughed.
"I think you need to earn his trust Honey." Mom said then she also walks to where Paige is standing.
"Well the feeling is mutual" Then Paige glared at Tippy.
I start preparing the foods and I only hear their conversation from where I'm standing.
"Girls I'll just go and get to shower then we can eat. " Mom said then I hear her footstep on the stair.
"Hi Tippy" I heard Spencer
"Arkkkk Hi!" The parrot replied.
"See McCullers Tippy likes me." I hear Spencer teasing Paige."
PAIGE POV
This bird is really getting in to my nerves. Don't get me wrong about not liking animals or having pets but I feel that this Parrot is really weird.
"Arkkkk Hi!" Tippy replied to Spencer
"See McCullers Tippy likes me." Spencer said the she looked then smiled at me.
'Liking you is really easy' that's what running on my mind.
"It's easy to like you too Paige" Spencer said but she is now looking at the weird bird touching it's head.
"Arkkkk! Blushing!" The bird says again
"God Em! Is that the only thing he knows?!" I groaned. Then I saw Emily walking
"No I don't think so, he just say Hi to Spencer right Tippy?" Emily said
"Arkkk! McCullers!" The bird says again
"Spencer, Tippy just call her McCullers" Emily said then both of them started to laugh.
"Arghhhh I hate that bird" I said then I stand up from the couch
"Em, is dinner okay?" Pam shouted from her room.
"Yes mom I'll just set the table" Emily replied then she stand up too.
"I'll help you" I said then followed Emily
"McCullers wait up I'll help too" Spencer said
"No, Hasting just sit there and relax, besides I guess you like the company of that guy" I said then smiled at her
"Okay, I like it when you call me Hastings" I can see the smile creeping in her face
"I prefer you addressing me with McCullers to, I feel so bad ass when it comes from you" Then I giggled then walk towards the dining room

Pam descends on the stairs and she saw that Spencer is the only one sitting on the living room with Tippy. Spencer's back is facing her so the girl didn't notice her presence. When she was about put a hand on the shoulder of the younger Hasting.
"McCullers, Hastings " Pam can hear the smile on the voice of the girl sitting on her couch. She can't help but smile at this. She can feel something is going on with this two.
"Arkkkkk! McHastings!" Tippy said. Then Pam heard Spencer give out a small laugh at the mistake of the bird
She is happy for both girls but she also saw how Paige and her daughter act towards each other.
