Previously in Chicago Fire

Matt and Gabby are in front of the hospital. Gabby make her way through the crowd to enter in the hospital. She gets in t register to the race. Back to Matt, we see the two young girls running and no longer after the bomb went off. CFD arrive to scene and Matt and Severide go to find Dawson. Leslie trip over a rock after another rock fall on her. A metal pole cut her deep, but she says nothing and continue her job. Matt finally found Dawson and with everyone help, they get her out. Leslie, who was still inside the building, heard Rafferty told her over the radio but can't respond as she fell on the floor, barely conscious.

Chicago PD

Burgess and Atwater are getting Shay out of her fire gear. The redhead girl comes over and helps them. Atwater lift Shay to put her on a bed. The doctor finish removing her gear and heard her friend calling over the radio.

Atwater: What are we doing? Do we just tell them over radio?

Doctor: I think we should go found them

Atwater: I'll go

Atwater leave the room and run as fast as he could to get to the 51 crew. It takes a while until he found them considering the number of firefighters on the scene. Chief Boden saw him run towards them.

Chief Boden: How can we help you officer?

Atwater: There is one EMT back there. She is pretty hurt and I heard you guys call her. I think she might be one of yours.

Chief Boden turns around and call Severide. Severide made his way to the Chief and to Atwater.

Severide: What's going on chief?

Chief Boden: It's about Shay

Severide looks at the chief, worried, as everyone else turn their heads in their direction. Gabby comes around Severide and looks at Atwater.

Atwater: Your EMT lost a lot of blood. She doesn't looks well.

Severide: Is she going to be okay?

Atwater: I don't know. I can get you to her, but nothing more.

Chief Boden: You two, go.

Severide and Gabby followed the officer back to where he left Shay and the others. The doctor was about to finish bandage her up. She turns around and she saw the two friends.

Doctor: She'll be fine. She lost a lot of blood, but we managed to transfuse enough blood to bet her stable. She's unconscious right now, but she should wake up in no longer.

Dawson: Thanks Doc.

The redhead doctor leave them and go find her sister. In the meantime, Severide and Dawson each take a seat around Shay's bed. They both barely fall asleep and were wake up by Shay regaining conscious.

Shay: Hey you two.

Severide: Don't ever scare me like that again
