I am pleased with my reviews so far, it seems people like this story. Not that I was going stop if some flamers upset me. I would just retaliate by reading their stories and criticize them, and if they didn't have any stories I would reply to just criticize them on that. Anyway this story could go anywhere look for future poll notices.

Chapter 2

Rewind

"Naru, Get up you have school today!" Riri yelled from their apartment's kitchen sipping on a cup of coffee. "I'm awake, man you don't trust me!" Naru crinkled her nose. "How can you drink that stuff its nasty." Riri staring back at her took a large gulp. "There's nothing bad about it, you haven't even tried it." Naru made another face, replying to her. "Don't use your reverse psychology on me, and stop giving me that stare." Riri just smirked. "Just eat your breakfast, and get ready for school." She plopped down into her chair and ate the oatmeal prepared for her, grumbling every once and a while.

Riri satisfied with it, pushed back in her chair and grabbed the nearby cane before strolling to her bedroom picking up what she needed for the day and putting it into her messenger bag. Leaning on her cane she made her way to the door and heard Naru call out to her. "So when will you be home tonight?" She didn't glance back before responding. "Late, go to bed on time I'll be here in the morning." Opening the door she locked it behind her heading towards the stairs she could hear Naru double checking the lock on the door.

Riri soon strode into work at the T & I building that morning sitting at her desk and grabbing out the files from her bag flipping open a selected file before standing up again and walking to a chalk board working on some equations. She heard the silent click of her door opening and a voice called out "I thought I told you to go home a little while ago?" She didn't need to look to know that Ibiki was talking to her. "I did." She could hear him walk over and lean on the top of her desk. "And did you sleep?" He asked again, Riri glanced at him and he walked over and threw her over his shoulder. "Hey I was working, what do you think you're doing?" She shouted at him as he carried her down the hall before flinging open a door and tossing her on a couch and kicked the door shut. "Next time you follow my orders." He said glowering at her, a hand at the top of couch and the other next to her stomach. Grinning she yanked him down and breathed close to his ear. "I see your rough today, I like that."

He reached out a hand and grabbed her left thigh pulling her close to him. As he saw her wince he moved close to her ear a whispered. "Stop messing around." Ibiki got up and shrugged off his trench, throwing it on her. "You really are a fiery minx, but you should date guys your own age." He went over and sat at his desk. "But they're all immature and weak; I like guys that know what I'm talking about and have those nice strong bodies. Some rookie genin or last year academy just wouldn't have that six foot built body."

"And it's hard to believe your sister is older than you." Ibiki snorted looking through his work. "Yeah, but I've lived in Konoha longer, and I'm also a Special Jōnin, which is technically your fault, because you wanted to recruit me so bad, so don't complain about my dating habits."

Ibiki grimaced looking at her before replying. "I should've just let you go to the academy and not agreed to the tutors." Riri just let a devilish smirk play on her lips, responding "But then you wouldn't have me as your Analyst and I'd just be some unfound prodigy among a bunch of idiots." Ibiki glared at her and slammed his hand on the desk. "Didn't I tell you to go to sleep?!" There was some mumbles thrown back before she resigned to actually sleeping incase Ibiki decided to shove sleeping pills down her throat.

However the sleep was short lived as a while later angry voices emerged from Shinobi running over the roof. "YOU BRAT! GET BACK HERE!" Riri's hand came out from under the trench coat and slammed down atop the table as she launched up from the couch, knowing exactly what was occurring. "Naru, Dammit! Can she not go for one day without getting in trouble?" Riri made her way out and made a hand sign disappearing with a gust of wind.

She reappeared, landing on her good leg and cleared her throat at her mischievous older sister, behind a set bushes Naru had chosen to hide behind. "Naru." Naru froze and carefully turned her head, finding that Riri had once again located her in the aftermath of a prank. "Imōto-Chan, couldn't you just be nice to your Nee-Chan and let her slip by." Naru nervously rubbed the back of her head.

"No." Riri reached over and grabbed her by the ear. "Ahh! Riri let go! That hurts!" Naru yelled loudly attempting to pry the hand from her ear.

"What the hell did you do? You only have a few days until graduation and you're fooling around! If you fail this will be the third time! Do you want to repeat another year?" Riri scolded her older sister while dragging her toward the Hokage tower.

"Let me go! You're suppose to respect your older sibling. What kind of sister are you?" Naru pleaded. "I'm a good sister who houses and feeds you while making sure you stay out of trouble. At this point Riri looked up to see what prank her sister had pulled tis time. "The Hokage Monument are you serious? Last time it was the Hyuga Household are you insane? You're targeting places your sure to get caught vandalizing."

Naru digging her heels into the ground replied. "It's not vandalizing it's creative criticism and I shouldn't be punished for it." Riri pushed the door for the Hokage Office coming face to face with Iruka and the third Hokage. "I believe you were looking for her Iruka-san."

"Sorry for the trouble Riri-Chan, she slipped away during spars, I'll make sure she doesn't cause any more trouble while you're working." Nodding she waved it off saying it was no trouble taking one last glance at her sister whose cheeks were puffed out and arms crossed as she pouted about being dragged through Konoha by her ear and was no doubt thoroughly embarrassed and trekked back to the T&I building.

Naru who was left behind had been tied up to avoid escape and promptly returned with her sensei to the interrupted class. "Now class because Naru decided to cause trouble we are all doing a pop-quiz on Henge, Line up!" The class groaned and yelled at Naru for the trouble.

"Your all just mad because you can't pull of amazing pranks like I do." Naru retorted to her classmates.

NCIS-Tony DiNozzo-2003

After Naru had returned home Tony had unwillingly stayed in Illinois's State Witness Protection Program but managed to stay with in law enforcement in hopes of one day catching the men who had torn apart his peaceful life and wrecked his best relationship to date. Since then he had been at Peoria, Illinois for 18 months then moved to Philadelphia, Pennsylvania for another 18 months before ending up in Baltimore, Maryland for a full 2 years.

Upon finding out that his partner was a dirty cop his case worker, Agent Olin Kemp, deemed his friend untrustworthy and potential leak for his protection and decided that he needed to be moved. As he had been cleaning out his desk that morning after handing his captain is resignation, he'd looked up to see a fellow police officer who handed him a message. The message was from one Special Agent Gibbs of NCIS whom he'd met earlier that week.

So after he'd packed up, said his final goodbyes and put his box in his trunk of his car before making his way over to the NCIS. From there he was escorted to Agent Gibbs who had walked him down the hall discussing his partner and Baltimore. When he mentioned leaving law enforcement he'd received a slap to the back of the head.

Agent Gibbs at that point had told him Rule 5 "you don't waste good" and that he was good. With that he left him to turn around to see the application office and Gibbs even quoted a movie as he walked away. Surprisingly enough he made it through the background check showing how good his cover was.

Now he'd worked for Gibbs at least 2 years and been head slapped more times than he could remember. Speaking of Gibbs his desk phone was ringing. He'd stayed late working on paperwork and now it looked like they had a case.

Basement-Gibbs-2003

At the moment Special Agent Leroy Jethro Gibbs was working on a boat in his basement when his cell phone rang. "Yeah, Gibbs."

"Hey Boss, got a dead Navy Commander who just carked in the air on air force one. It just landed in Wichita, Kanas. President already switched planes; I got us a flight that makes a stop in Dallas before it goes to Wichita." Tony responded on the other side.

"That's the best you got?" Gibbs countered his Senior Field Agent.

"Well, it's Saturday and it's not like we have our own jet." Tony told his boss in response.

"No we don't and get Ducky to have one of his medical examiner friends to stall till we get there." Gibbs said.

"Alright, meet you at the airport Boss." With that he hung up glancing at his T.V. broadcasting the emergency landing of air force one.

Konoha-October 15th

"I'm sorry Riri-Chan, I haven't seen Naru since she failed her exam earlier today." Iruka apologized as she sighed running a hand through her hair. "Thanks, I'll let you know when I find her." Riri jumped to the roof tops and decided to check the ramen stand.

Arriving home late that evening she found that her older sister hadn't returned home since that morning and had gone in search of her routine she had found that Naru had not passed her exams and hadn't been seen in the last three hours since the academy had let out. "Hopefully she's just sulking somewhere." When she didn't find her at the ramen stand, she tried the monument and finally her training spot but all were void of her existence.

At this point a hawk began circling over head. "The Hokage." She Muttered before jumping up on to the roof tops again towards the tower to see other jounin standing there with chunin. "Hokage-Sama what's going on?" She asked looking around. "Your sister has taken off with Forbidden Scroll. Do you know why she might have done this?"

"What! There's no way she would! I don't understand how she would even now where to find. Information like that doesn't leave the tower." Riri objected to the accusation. However the Hokage Silenced her. "I don't care at the moment how, I just need you to help find her and I want her safe understood." He said turning to the others. With that the others took off while she stood there trying to contemplate this news.

A hand touched her shoulder and she saw Anko and Ibiki behind her. "Let's go before someone does something stupid." Ibiki said. Riri nodded and they headed off.

Naru-Forest-Mizuki-Iruka

"Iruka-sensei what's going on? What's Mizuki-Sensei talking about?" Naru stepped back looking at the two teachers she'd trusted for the past few years.

"NARU, what ever he says don't listen!" Iruka said breathing hard, he was imbedded with the shuriken that Mizuki had thrown at him moments before. Desperately he looked for a solution to this situation.

"Trying to protect that monster after it killed your parents! You're pathetic!" He yelled in counter. "What is he talking about Iruka-sensei, I don't understand!" She pleaded looking between the two. Mizuki grinned methodically. "You want to know! You're the nine-tailed fox!" he yelled at her. She froze in shock unable to move. Her heart was beating so loud she could hear it, muffling everything around her. A sudden shove brought her senses forward she looked above her, shocked as Iruka kneeled over, tracing the large shuriken in his back with her eyes.

"I-iruka-sensei." She stuttered and looked at Mizuki the scroll still tightly grasped in her arms. "Why?" She whispered.

"After I lost my parents no one cared about me. When you came to Konoha, you were just like me. Your life had just been turned upside down, you had no one and you couldn't make friends. So you acted out, just like I did, so people would notice you. It was hard right, being alone, not knowing and being deceived like that for so long." Iruka cried.

"I'm sorry, maybe if I had done something..." Mizuki growing frustrated yelled at them. "Don't make me laugh, Iruka hates you! You killed his parents, he just wants the scroll!"

Suddenly she sprinted out from underneath Iruka and rushed into the surrounding forest Ignoring the shouts.

Riri-Anko-Ibiki

Riri nearly sighed as she saw her sister unharmed and a teacher thoroughly beaten while she hugged Iruka.

"Naru! Are you alright, are you hurt?" Riri turned her sister's face toward her checking her over. Naru just turned and smiled cheekily at her younger sister. "Of course not! Who do you think I am?" Riri just chuckled at her sister and looked up at the rising sun.

"I didn't realize it had even gotten that late." Naru said looking up with her sister. "We could always have dinner for breakfast." At that Naru grinned sheepishly when her stomach growled at the thought of food. Riri suddenly realized that she had a Hitai-ate tied across her forehead and noticed Iruka's missing from his. A smile broke out on her face and she nudged her sister. "So how did you finally pass the exam?"

Her eyes lit up and she jumped up and regaled into a story about making solid clones and 'kicking Mizuki's ass' claiming her superior skills. Ibiki and Anko were long gone taking Mizuki with them and they had started walking Iruka to the hospital to be checked out. They finally dropped him off and headed home.

Walking through the door Riri watched as her sister's face lit up seeing an array of presents and a professionally done cake that sat in their living room. "Uncle Tony got them out a little late, but he made sure they got here intact."

With a wide grin on her face she asked "Can we open them now?" Naru excitedly jumped up and down. With a nod Naru grabbed one of her own presents and one of Riri's and tossed it to her. Riri put hers to the side and grabbed a camera barely capturing her sister's expression of glee as she opened a pair of new dance shoes. Naru noticing the flash grabbed the camera from her sister and forced her to open her present.

Riri sighed and went about removing the wrapping paper revealing program software that she'd been trying to find. Another present got tossed at her. "Hey I barely finished opening this one." Naru grinned and replied "Well I got you this one." Riri just shook her head and opened the long package she had caught. It was a black metal cane with a silver knob handle and rubber bottom.

Riri just gave her sister a questioning look. "It's cooler than that wooden one you have" She just rolled her eyes and pulled her sister toward her for a hug.

Tony-Home

Tony had just come home from work and was sitting at his laptop waiting on a response for his web chat invitation. Finally a window popped up and his nieces were on screen eating cake.

"Hey girls, are you eating cake at eight in the morning?" Tony questioned. Both looked a bit guilty and Naru responded "Well technically we haven't been to bed yet so this doesn't count."

"Why haven't you been to bed?" Tony asked. They looked at each other and then back at him. "Long day." they responded simultaneously. He shook his head and moved on. "Did you like your birthday presents? I'm sorry they were late, I had back to back cases these last few weeks." Tony smiled when he noticed the excitement light up in their eyes.

Naru was the first to spiel off about how much she loved all her dance shoes, makeup, leotards, skates and accessories. She then continued onto the ninja supplies that her sister had bought her. Riri had followed up asking about how he had found certain research books and programs he'd found and thanked him for the modified compression boots along with a book on holistic medicines and treatments that he had sent.

"Well I meet a lot of different people working at NCIS, I'm surprised at what I can't in DC." He said glancing at the clock. "Hey girls, go get some sleep I'm tried and you should be dead tired as well."

They waved good bye and signed off. As the light died out from shutting off his computer he couldn't help but look around his empty house. It was large and looked like it was out of some designer magazine. It was also lonely.

He missed the house being filled with his girls. It wasn't the same seeing his nieces twice a year in other countries. They hadn't had a lead on the man responsible for kidnapping Naru since he'd been moved to D.C. and it wasn't getting him any closer for this to be all over. He moved to get ready for bed and stopped at the mirror in the hall.

He couldn't help but feel that the person staring back at him was a stranger.

Several Weeks Later-

Naru was mid dance class when there was a knock on the door. They'd been in the middle of a scene for a performance that was for dignitaries who were meeting with the Hokage in a week. Focused on the scene as instructed by the teacher, until a familiar voice shouted out her named and she nearly tripped over her lead co-star. Luckily he caught her.

Adjusting herself she looked up to glare at her teammate. In fact it wasn't just one, it was her whole team. "So this is why you couldn't come to practice today?" Kakashi hummed as he observed the stage area. Her eye twitched as she noticed Sasuke's facial expression which she couldn't place. "Teme, what's your problem!" Sasuke smirked and replied "So the tomboy can actually pull off being feminine."

Before she could respond her Co-star dragged her way and called out to stage crew to move on to a different scene. "Let's show them something shall we." He whispered and prepared their stance. She smirked as she realized it was the rather romantic and complicated dance they had to preform.

She leaned into her co-star and let the music start and didn't pay attention to her teammates. She was on the tips of her toes as they moved, then he started twirling her and she went into her Pirouettes and glided across the stage going into a front Ariel, it continued on until the end with some other Ariel dance moves to the end where she did a Grand Jete and was caught by her partner and ended as her lowered her gracefully to the floor.

She smiled gracefully as she noticed that Sasuke and Sakura were rather shocked. She couldn't help but wish it was Tony standing there.

A few weeks later-

Riri glanced into her sister's bedroom, who was sound asleep with Ace curled up on the bed with her. He raised his head and looked at her before putting it back down watching her. She shut the door silently and moved down the hall to her room. Entering the bathroom she set her cane against the sink.

She peeled off her top that was covered in grime and some blood. She disposed of the rest of her clothing and stepped into the shower, not registering the temperature she felt the cuts along her arms up to her shoulders and down her sides. Feeling the grime and blood underneath her hands trying to scrub off more than what was there. She stopped when she saw her skin was being rubbed raw and grabbed her shampoo squirting into her hair and scrubbed at it as well.

When the suds were completely gone she turned off the shower and grabbed a towel and the cane drying up as she walked out of the bathroom. She slipped on fresh underwear and a robe before heading for the kitchen.

She opened up the fridge and grabbed a white bottle and grabbed a small glass walking out and back to her room and stopped to grab something on the dresser walking out onto the balcony. She placed the items down on a table and opened the bottle. She poured it's liquid into her glass and took a sip before setting it aside.

She grabbed a box on the table and flipped open the lid sliding out a white stick and took a copper colored lighter and lit a flame to it. She pressed the opposite end to her lips and inhaled before exhaling it's white smoke.

She gazed into the sky closing her eyes. How did she come to lose so much?

Riri's Office-

Riri was working at her desk when the door opened with out warning. She didn't glanced up or say a word as her sister leaned onto her desk.

"We just got our first mission out of the village today! It's a C-rank but we're guarding this drunk bridge builder who's a complete asshole and we're going to be out of the village for a few weeks because the bridge he's building is in wave so..." she trailed off. Riri let out a small smile as she got up and walked out from behind her desk heading to a cabinet and retrieved something from inside.

She handed it to her sister who examined it. "A three-pronged kunai?" Naru asked confused. "Incase there's something you guys can't handle; an extreme emergency, just add your chakra and throw it in front of you." Riri replied. "Yeah, but what does it do?" Naru questioned again. "Just know it's for extreme emergencies okay." She glanced over her sister one more time and embraced her. "Be safe and don't do anything stupid alright."

"You don't trust me." She rolled her eyes and they both laughed.

A few hours later-

Riri was sitting in the conference room at the T&I building among her co-workers discussing threat levels of problems occurring around the varying nations.

"What should we do about Gato? His shipping industry seems to expanding and he's not afraid of using violent means to obtain his goals if the rumors are true." Riri absently listened as she flipped through a file.

"Informants are also saying he's hiring more than just bandits right now, he's hired some rouge Shinobi and could expand further than just the small area he's in right now. This could very well affect trading coming into Konoha in the future." She scribbled some notes down.

"Riri, what about a psychological approach?" Inochi asked from his end of the table. "He's big on saving money and most likely won't expand into any shinobi populated areas, he's all about instilling fear and taking out one who says other wise. He'll most likely stay in a civilian controlled area to avoid conflict with higher power." She further sketched out other notes.

"That's I doubt he'll last much longer, a bridge is almost finished being built over there and his ships will be out of business." Her pen stopped at that remark.

"This bridge wouldn't happen to be in wave would it?" Riri asked no emotion showed through as a majority of the table looked up at her.

"It is, why are you...Riri, where are you going!" Ibiki yelled as she ran from the room and down the hall. By the time he had caught up she was in her office finishing changing the lower part of her outfit and was grabbing for a bag. "What's going on!?"

"We just sent out a genin team to protect the person building that bridge. Gato hired those rouges for a reason, he doesn't want that bridge being finished, he looses all business if he does." She was moving around packing the bag.

"That doesn't explain what you're doing." Ibiki said. "I'm going after them." she replied. "You're crazy, you're not even fit for active duty what are you going to do?" He pulled her back.

"That's what these are for." She gestured to the bottom half of her outfit. Her bottoms were a half tight fitting pants on her left leg that went into a short skirt with a slit on the right side and kunai holster strapped to her bare leg. There were also black laced boots that went up mid-calf on her feet. "They're compression pants and boots specially woven with medical chakra. They just came in yesterday."

"To relieve the pain in your leg. Even with those, why?" Ibiki asked.

"It's my sister's team."

Wave-

Naru looked at her teammates by her side and at her sensei who was trapped in a sphere of water by a high-rank rouge ninja named Zabuza Momochi. Kakashi was yelling for them to take the bridge builder and run but it wasn't right and they didn't know what to do.

Her eyes connected with Sasuke as the water clone formed in front of them again. "You think wearing a headband makes you a ninja; when you've hovered between life and death so many times it doesn't phase you, then you may be called a ninja." Zabuza's voice drove chills down her spine, it reminded her of her kidnapper. "When you've become so deadly your profile is entered my bingo book, then you may have earned the title of ninja, but to call upstarts like you ninja is a joke."

Her heart pounded loudly she listened to him speak. The man that had kidnapped her was what drove her to become stronger so that she wouldn't live the nightmare of being in that situation again. She was vigilant as she watched her opponent remembering things that she had read in her sisters own personal set of ninja rules.

You only limit yourself.

Zabuza disappeared from view and she was thrown across the field by a kick and her hitai-ate flew from her head and under his foot. "You're just brats." Her teammates watched her with baited breath. "Naru!" Sakura called out worried for her teammate, Naru just gritted her teeth and pushed herself up.

"Listen! Just get the bridge builder and run. You can't win this fight. He's using all his power to keep me in this tank so he can only fight you with his water clone but the clone can't go far from his real body. If you get away from him, he can't follow. Now run!" Kakashi yelled to them but they just stood still.

Naru looked up at Zabuza's water clone and spoke. "I am sick and tired of everyone always telling me to run, it doesn't solve anything. And on top of it all you remind me of someone I really fucking hate." Naru bit out at him.

"Then let's do something." Sasuke said and charged at Zabuza throwing shuriken at him and jumping above when he blocked his view with sword in order to deflect the weapons. But he was easily thrown away by Zabuza and landed heavily. Naru withdrew twin daggers that she had been given by her sister and went forward blocking his sword with one and attacking with the other. He managed to kick her away and she landed roughly in front of her teammates who were yelling at her but stopped as the watched struggling to get up and breathe with her headband clutched in her hand.

She tied it back in it's place and spoke once more. "Hey, freak with no eyebrows. Put this in your bingo book, the ninja that will become Hokage of Konoha, she never backs down and her name is Naru Uzumaki!"

She changed her weapons of choice to two bladed hand fans and looked to Sasuke. "Hey, Sasuke listen up I've got a plan."

"So now your thinking about teamwork." He replied. Zabuza however chuckled interrupting them. "Still playing ninja I see, by your age I already crushed many opponents."

"Zabuza, the demon." It clicked with Kakashi from the confines of his prison. "So I'm in your book too." Zabuza said in reply.

"Long ago in the village hidden in the mist; also known as the bloodily mist village, before a student could become a ninja there was one final test."Kakashi started, Zabuza turned and looked at him interestingly "So you know about the graduation exam."

"What graduation exam?" Naru asked looking at the two. Zabuza's clone just chuckled. "What's the big deal anyway. I took a graduation test too." He continued to chuckled and it put her on edge. "Did you have to kill the other students to pass?" He asked her, she was taken back by this statement. "Imagine, young ninja eating together, training together and then comes the final exam. Only they changed the rules, kill or be killed, you can't stop while your opponent still breaths. He was your friend, shared your dreams, now it's him or you."

"That's so cruel." Sakura said. Kakashi at this point continued on. "10 years ago, in the hidden mist, the graduation exam changed. One year before a dark evil had filled the school terror. Without pause or hesitation, a young boy who was not even a ninja approached the class and took down over a hundred other students."

"It felt so...GOOD!" Zabuza opened up his eyes with a rather blood thirsty look in his eyes. He moved forward with great speed and slammed into sasuke and brought his elbow straight into his gut and sasuke spit out blood. He went further and slammed his foot down on Sasuke's chest and he let out a strained breath.

"Sasuke!" Sakura called out, they were both freighted. Sasuke was struggling in pain when Zabuza's hand rest on his sword. "Stop right there!" Naru yelled out her shadow clone Jutsu while making the ram sign.

Zabuza looked slightly impressed by the amount didn't worry. Surrounding him from all sides she unfolded her fans and brought them down in a slashing motion as she jumped up and he was rather surprised as he felt slashes hit him and the clone deformed.

Sasuke quickly recovered as the clone formed back into it's original shape. As the Naru's clone disappeared she called out to Sasuke. "Catch!" She threw a windmill shuriken and he caught it with a smirk and spun around and unfolded it before calling out. "Demon Wind Shuriken: windmill of shadows."

He threw it aiming not for the clone but the real Zabuza. Zabuza smirked and caught it and sasuke was still smirking as well when he noticed the second one trailing behind. Zabuza jumped over that one and was surprised to here a pop and saw Naru launching a Kunai at him but he managed to block it with the shuriken. Panicked she grabbed for another kunai while still in mid-air and had a sense of relief as she felt the three-prong one in her hand.

Putting her chakra into it she threw in and prayed it worked as she landed in the water. While she was under she heard two large splashes and as she resurfaced she realized that the sphere of water containing Kakashi was now gone and so was Zabuza, but standing on the water was someone she was glad to see. "Riri." She breathed sliently.

She took in her sister's form, which had her right leg in the air having just kicked Zabuza sharply in the face, was wearing a different outfit than what she usually recognized as her sister's shinobi outfit.

Zabuza resurfaced and looked at Riri who stood at ready. "What the hell kind of Jutsu is that?" Naru just grinned and replied. "That's not a Jutsu, that's my sister."

"Oh great, this brat comes with a spare." Zabuza growled out as he stood up. "Two ways to piss me off in one package." At this time Kakashi had already had rejoined over by Riri and greeted her. "You didn't tell me you gave her one of your Kunai."

"That's because I just gave it to her before she left." Riri replied, Meanwhile Zabuza closely observed Riri and eyed her jonin vest carefully. "Naru don't worry we'll take it from here."

She quickly formed hand signs and let energy form in her hands and pushed her hands toward Zabuza. "Enerugīparusu Jutsu." It slammed into him and threw him across the lake they stood on.

"He couldn't even dodge it." Sakura said amazed. "What was that." The fight continued with Kakashi who matched Zabuza with a water dragon jutsu which threw the water over the shore along with Naru who hit a tree nearby.

"Naru you didn't tell us you had a sister." Sakura said. Naru gave her a look as if to ask 'did you really just say that' "I pulled pranks all the time you really think you would've believed me had I said I had an Identical twin sister who happens to be a special Jonin." She questioned them.

"Point taken, but what was that Jutsu she used." She looked back over at her sister who set off another one before replying. "Oh those, those are energy pulse jutsu. She got really into controlling alternative energy sources a few years back. I'm not really sure how she does it."

It was then that Kakashi set off a water vortex jutsu and Zabuza washed ashore and was hit with several kunai. "How, can you see into the future?" Zabuza asked and Kakashi replied. "Yes and this is your last battle ever." At that point senbon struck him in the neck and his body slumped to the ground. Riri tensed as a Hunter-Nin appeared. She eyed him suspiciously as Kakashi nodded to her and the masked-nin bowed.

"Thank you, I've been tracking Zabuza for a long time and you gave me the opportunity to accomplish my mission." He spoke. "I see you're a hunter-nin from the mist village by your mask." Kakashi observed. "I see you are well informed."

Riri touched her sister's shoulder calming her down and watched as the ninja appeared before the body. But when they bent down to pick him up Riri reacted and threw a kunai which missed as the Ninja disappeared. "Riri! What was that for, I thought he was okay."

"Hunter-nin dispose of the body on-sight, that was no hunter-nin that just took his body." Riri replied grimacing. Sakura shocked asked "Then who was it?"

"His accomplice most likely. If it's true we're going to have to worry about him returning after he recovers." She heard a thump next to her and looked at Kakashi who had passed out from exhaustion. "Dammit Kakashi, now I have to carry your heavy ass back." She looked to the others. "Let's head to your house shall we." She nodded to the team and the took off.

Next Morning-

Riri stood out on the porch early in the morning smoking a cigarette when she heard a large shout. "YOU BASTARD! DON'T YOU KNOW HOW TO KNOCK!" There was a slamming of a door and running down the stairs and Sasuke was outside bent over breathing rather hard from his flight.

She inhaled and exhaled before talking. "Walk in on her in the bathroom." He looked at her surprised, blushed and then looked away quickly, he responded "Never mention it...again."

She put out her cigarette and walked back inside to see Naru making her way down the stairs in her usual way, and by usual she meant walking on her hands. "Naru, why are you..." Riri however cut off Sakura. "It's her morning ritual, you'll get used to it. Kakashi awake yet?" Sakura shook her head and continued watching Naru make her way over before maneuvering herself upward and bringing her leg almost completely vertical in the air stretching it.

Sasuke paused as saw Naru doing ballet stretches and shook his head and just sat at the table. Sakura then decided to ask Riri something that was on her mind. "Hey, Riri-San, how are you differently ranked than Naru is?" Riri paused before answering. "We were raised seperately, I was raised in Konoha and Naru with our uncle outside of Konoha. The Hokage noticed my unique way of learning and processing of information early on and had me tutored instead of being put in the academy. Naru returned a few years later by then I was already a chunin and she was starting at the academy. We met a few years later after I had been Jonin for a while."

Sakura processed that information before speaking again. "That would mean you hold the record for ranking wouldn't it." Sasuke perked up at the mention of it. "How did you do it?" He asked attentively and the question seemed to age Riri's face. "It's not all that it's cracked up to be, it's a lot of sacrifice, too much." She got up and moved toward the kitchen. "I'm going to go get some coffee."

"Why the hell do you drink something so awful." Naru grimaced at the words. "You ask me that every morning, why do you care!"

Later on-

Riri was sitting in Kakashi's room reading when his eye fluttered open and he looked at her. "Where is my team?" He asked. "Don't worry I have them training out front." Riri responded. "You do realize I want to return with them alive to village don't you." Kakashi joked as she glared at him. "I'm not the one who broke their leg fainting."

"I did not faint, I passed out from chakra exhaustion there is a difference." Kakashi defended himself and then stopped to observe her. "What about Zabuza?" Her lips pressed firmly and he could see she was processing all of her information.

"The hunter-nin was his partner, based on his age and the list of current missing-nin he isn't one himself, Zabuza probably picked him up during one of his village massacres. Based on the area he hit him with the Senbon he only simulated the appearance of death. However pressure points still do damaged as much as acupuncture helps some people it can hurt others. I'd give them a week before we see them again, normally it would take longer but I believe he has medical experience due to the way Zabuza had him hold back. While he knew he was facing a genin team there is always the jonin he has to worry about."

"So he held him back as a back up plan, what's ours?" Kakashi asked, a smirk glided across her lips. "My usual way of course, it's my specialty and as always one hundred percent effective." Kakashi gave a knowing look and replied. "Espionage, Seduction, and deceit?" Her mouth opened into a wide grin. "Of course, what other option could be better."

He rolled his eye and responded. "Oh, I don't know one that doesn't involved Anko." Riri clicked her tongue and huffed before responding in an annoyed tone. "Well no one asked for your opinion."

Underground Club-

Anko's tongue slither across the back of her ear and she could feel her teeth gently tugging on the top of the lobe. "So, is the club open or not?" Riri leaned back a bit and moaned rather erotically.

The guard in front of them snapped out of his lust filled daze and smiled brightly. "Of course, the ladies are always welcome. We always appreciate your services." The man leered as he unhooked the ropes and let them through, watching as Anko made a show of rubbing against and groping her younger 'lover'.

One inside she dragged Riri to the middle of dance floor where they cut through to the bar ordering a rather a drink with a rather sexual sounding name. Something new she had probably picked up somewhere and knowing her friend probably rather strong as well.

She was handed her as she eyed the room, to most it looked like she just checking out the 'samples' the club had to offer. She downed half of her drink feeling the burn of the alcohol. Vodka, Bourbon, Tequila, and … ginger ale?

"What is this called again?" She gave her friend a curious look. "Soulless Slut." She rolled her eyes and down the other half. Anko was already grabbing their second set of drinks as she led her to the dance floor her hand slipping underneath her skirt her fingers playing with sides of her thong that she wore. They had started mindlessly bumping and grinding to the music along with the rest of the crowd.

Riri turned around her lips found Anko's who had been leaving rather hard bruises on her neck until then started tonguing her rather passionately.

Riri, who had kept them in lined up with the full view of the VIP section, noticed a rather burly man making his way over. "Ladies, your presence has been requested." She felt a smirk against her lips as Anko pulled away and left her panting. "We'd be delighted." Anko maintained a firm grip against her taunt stomach as they made their way over to the VIP table where just moments ago some of the likely hookers had been kicked out. Anko pulled her on to her lap as she sat.

"Hello there sexy."Anko greeted the well dressed business man, he smirked as if he had won some great prize. "Hello ladies, cigar?" He offered to them, but only Riri took one and smirked slyly as he lit it for her.

She inhaled the smoke and turned her head slightly to expel it from her lips. The man before them looked thrilled at what must have been a very taunting display. "So would you two like go in back with me, I have a private room." The two grinned to each other before nodding.

Later Tazuna's Cabin

Anko and Riri came in a what was deem ably late hour of the night, Anko a giggling mess due to what they had just pulled. "You two seem to have had fun." Kakashi commented as he lay on the couch reading his perverted orange book.

"Well that's because we may have pulled one of the greatest pranks on one of Gato's investors." Anko gleamed with pride. "This guy is going to have the bluest balls when he wakes up." Riri rolled her eyes but gave a smirk. She stretched her muscles and her the cracking of her bones and absent mindedly listened to Kakashi and Anko's conversation. "I'm going to take a shower." She announced as she walked away the other two nodded discussing necessary information for the mission. She obtained her cane from the wall as she felt the high dosage of pain medication she had injected earlier that evening wearing off.

The throbbing sensation becoming more apparent as she reached the upstairs bathroom. She reached over and turned the knob to fill the tub and pulled out bath salts from her bag which Kakashi brought up for her earlier. She also set aside her pack of cigarettes, lighter and a bottle of wine she may or may have not stolen from the club. She considered since it was taken from the room bar of a rich tycoon that it was likely already paid for. So technically not stolen.

Turning off the water she slipped out of her clothes and lowered her self into the warm water. She reached over the edge of the tub and grasped the bottle popping the cork off effortlessly, pouring it into a glass. She brought it to her lips and sipped.

She sunk a little lower, letting the bubbles graze her chin slightly. The door opened just a fraction of an inch. "Riri?" Her sister called out quietly as if unsure she was actually in the bathroom. "Naru, you can come in." she replied just as low, setting her glass aside. Naru opened the door just enough to squeeze through and shut it behind her. She looked toward her sister glancing for a moment at the box of cigarettes, grimacing but made no comment. Instead she strode forth the few feet to the tub and sat down crossing her legs, resting her chin on the edge of the tub.

"You had that dream again." It wasn't a question. Naru had done this several time before, seeking her out when the dream had started occurring a few years back. Naru just nodded her eyes tracing along every curve of her sister's face, searching out its few distinct differences. "I'd come back from a mission, you were laying in bed like you had been tucked in by someone..." she words caught in her throat and she hesitated. Seeing this Riri spoke "Why don't you join me, I've got bath salts in the water."

She paused for a moment before pulling off her night shirt and slid off her bottoms. Moving forward in the tub, Riri let her sister sit behind her. Legs carefully maneuvered themselves beside hers and arms wrapped around her waist as Naru nestled her head in the crook of her sister's neck pulling her back to lean on her. "...you weren't breathing." Riri could tell she was listening to the beat of her pulse and reassuring herself with the warm touch of skin.

They sat there for a few moments, neither spoke a word. Naru opened her eyes that had briefly shut and adjusted her head. Riri could feel the change in expression of her face. "Since when have you had this?" Naru asked her finger tracing the swollen bruise on her neck. Riri grinned. "Anko did that."

"Asuma might be quite jealous if he sees this when we get back. I might not see you for a few days, could possibly keep you prisoner and try to make you give into his every wish and desire." She chuckled. Not sensing a response from her sister she nudged her. "You two are still together right? You haven't had any problems again?"

Riri shook her head. "No, we're just... at another stage." She mentally grimaced, thinking about her on again off again boyfriend and lover. They had had a situation going on at the moment that she wasn't sure she wanted to face yet. It wasn't that she didn't love him, he gave a sense of security and protection that allowed her to share almost all that she could with him. It was a level a trust she allowed very few.

Up until now she had avoided the very thoughts of his existence and their last moment together. Why did she have to bring him up? Oh yeah, Anko her very mischievous friend and comrade .

"Well if does hurt you, I can guarantee to make his life a living hell. You know as far as I can go without committing treason against Konoha for some accidental crime against the Hokage's son."

She snorted. "I don't think if you committed a crime worth treason that it would be accidental."

The Bridge

Naru looked at her sister from across the bridge as the snow drifted down from the clouds. Gato lay on one end of the bridge, head a few feet away from his body. Several dead mercenaries lay around an injured Zabuza Momochi, his severely injured apprentice lay not to far from Kakashi who stood in the spot where he had been battling Zabuza moments ago.

Riri stood in between this whole mess, holding Zabuza's sword with one hand as he had no current ability to use it. There were some scattered three-pronged kunai around the mercenaries and Gato, among the mess of fallen bodies and their carried weapons. Sasuke's senbon riddled body lay at the connected end of the bridge among the fallen mirror jutsu. Sakura cradled him in her arms while Tazuna stood by silently.

It hadn't meant to go like this at all. They had moved earlier than expected and they hadn't been prepared.

Anko and the her team had been set to take down Gato and his goons at their underground hideout that morning. Her sister decided to let her sleep in and headed out to the bridge with her team. But Gato had already sent Zabuza out to take care of his duties. He had become paranoid about betrayal and was watching from a distance on his boat ready to swoop in to cut loose ends.

By the time Anko and the others had realized this they had little time to do much of anything. She had woken up and rushed after save Inari and Tsunami to join Sasuke and had failed to protect her teammate. She'd almost lost control but then regained it seeing Haku's face.

She had become conflicted and in that moment Haku took a blow for Zabuza. With that moment the mists had cleared revealing Kakashi and Riri who had been battling him. Within seconds they had been joined by Gato and it seemed like his death was almost instant. Anko had shown up moments later along with a sizable amount of villagers.

Now there was just silence hanging in the air.

She saw her sister gesture to the other side of the bridge and she turned her head and saw Sasuke sitting up Sakura hugging him, her arms around his neck. He didn't momentarily seem to mind but looked rather groggy sitting there. He put his arm up as if to wave but it was a sad attempt with no movement.

With that she released a breath she didn't know she was holding.

A few days later-

It was a rather stressful mission. While she had spent most of it dealing with the aftermath she was glad to just be doing a simple mission for once. Riri was sure that the last time she had done something this easy, watching a bridge being built, was when she was a genin and that had been years ago. God this made her feel so old, but it was relaxing.

They had called in another team to deal with all of Gato's hired henchmen, dead and alive, also she with several recruited villagers had gone down to Gato's warehouses and had to inventory all the stolen goods that had failed to make it to the recipients that they had been shipped to. She had even managed to keep her sister in bed for a whole day under 'threat' that if she didn't rest that she could potentially stress her very important dancing muscles.

Sasuke however she was able to pull rank with, without even mentioning it. There was a certain effect of being top prodigy had a hypnotic technique with aspiring prodigies. So he was still at Tazuna's house resting with a bowl of soup and bundled up with blankets as Tsunami's motherly instincts kicked in.

This left her and the rest of her sister's team just watching over the final construction that was happening. Although with no danger they were rather just goofing off. Naru was entertaining the workers on break. She had kicked off her shoes and had cleared ground of any debris to start an impromptu performance.

Sakura was having a conversation with Kakashi as they watched over the workers and she was off to side watching.

Leaning over the railing she gazed out into the ocean below. There were several boats were crossing picking up travelers who had heard about the influx of available supplies that where there. In all it was quite peaceful, well it was.

She braced herself against the bridge as a body collided into her, the person wrapping their arms around her neck. "Riri-Chan! Let's go shopping!" She blew the purple hair of her friend out of her face and turned her head to Anko's face which was mere centimeters away. "Can you please stop doing that you're a grown adult."

"Never! Now let's go!" She was yanked with great force and within seconds ended up in the busy market area. "Kami! Are you high?"

"If a Sugar High counts then probably." A deep voice sighed from behind from. She tilted her head upward, unable to turn with Anko's tight grip, to see the person. "Hey Ibiki, on Anko damage control?" He looked rather disgruntled at this and gave her a look. "So yes?"

Suddenly, Anko released her having spotted something and she felt a whoosh of air against her back. She chuckled with a grin looking back toward her friend. "It's good to see your back to your old self." Ibiki commented as he saw this. Riri threw a questioning looking at him. "When did I change?" Ibiki shook his head. "You didn't change, just forgot some things."

"Like what?" But before she got her answer she was jerked back by Anko, whose mouth was flying words out of her mouth at a hundred miles an hour about what every she was dragging her toward. She was ultimately dragged inside a store where she discovered her babbling friend's reason.

It was a lingerie and specialty items store that apparently caught her attention that she insisted that they had to go into. "There's some corsets and very sexy costumes with accessories that I'm sure Asuma would appreciate." Anko said in a sultry tone with a Cheshire grin on her face.

She groaned that was why they were in here.

Anko was rather perverted in nature so it wasn't hard guess what she was going to do next. It would probably involve some rather inappropriate touching of her breast and butt, along with indecently exposing her in order to make her try on what every she thought would look good.

"You know, your more involved in my relationship with Asuma than you should be, like in a creeper kind of way." Riri voiced her opinion as Anko was moving her around like a doll dressing her up in the changing room. Looking at her 'work' Anko made a comment. "Those supplements are working." Riri stopped for moment. "What supplements?"

Anko froze but recovered quickly. "Don't you know it's rude to listen into other people's conversations!" She defended. "ANKO! You were talking to yourself!"

Konoha (A few days Later)

They'd had no more troubles after the battle and were able to complete the rest of the bridge rather quickly and were allowed to make their way home. That much everyone was glad about. Upon reaching the gates the genin had been sent home while Riri, Ibiki, Anko and Kakashi went to report to the Hokage. It had taken a few hours to explain everything and afterwards they headed off to complete the necessary paperwork.

Riri was currently sitting in her office filling out the last of the forms when a knock sounded at the door. "Come in." The knob turned and the door click opened. She looked up to see a familiar bearded face poke itself the room. He smiled before squeezing through the door and shutting it behind him.

"Asuma." She let her pen drop to the desk and pushed herself up and made a motion to make her way across the room but he made it to the end of her desk first. He pulled her close, arms around her waist and his head on top of hers. She let her head rest on his chest, listening to his heart beat. He inhaled deeply taking in her scent and moved to press a kiss to the top of her head. They stood there just taking in each other.

"You really scared me you know, I heard that you went on an A-Rank mission all of a sudden and you haven't been on a mission like that in so long and your leg...I was just worried you wouldn't come home." His grip tightened during this. "And I heard nothing the first few days, then it was a week, then two. Yesterday dad told me you were coming home and I couldn't even be relieved until I saw you weren't hurt and that you were home and in my arms."

"I love you so much and I get scared that I might lose you and not have the chance to say goodbye even." Riri moved as she felt a tear slip from his eye and land on her head. A finger gently reached up to offset anymore that might fall. "I know, you've said we're shinobi and I know how fast can move for us and it can be gone in a instant just doing our jobs, any moment. There's so much some times you forget what's important and you can lose yourself, the people you love, what you stand for."

Her thumb traced the scruffy edge of his beard. "This mission made remember a lot of that." The sun shined toward her eyes causing her to notice the sun setting. She glanced at the papers on her desk then back at Asuma. "I can finish this tomorrow." She reached over and put the paper in her desk drawers locking them. Asuma grabbed her cane for her and pulled her toward the door and they headed out.

They walked through the streets as the sky became dark, it was still pretty lively out on the streets and some people greeted them. She leaned her head against his arm as a merchant stopped them and handed Asuma a bag and told him to give his thanks to his father before shooing them off telling them to go have a good time with a wink.

It got quieter as they reached Asuma's apartment building and climbed the stairs. He unlocked the door and set down the bag. She could smell something delicious coming from the kitchen where he led her.

The it was completely dark except for two candles resting on the table. There was an expensive looking tablecloth laid down and a lobster & steak dinner set with a ice bucket containing red wine in the middle. "My favorite." Riri smiled. Asuma pulled out a chair for her and she sat letting him push her in before he sat down himself.

He poured their glasses and they began their meal. They talked about simple things, Asuma cracked some jokes and teased her about Anko's weird obsession with nibbling on her ear during missions. As they finished dinner he reached over to the bag from the merchant and pulled out a very rich looking chocolate cake. 'So the merchant knew.' she thought absently as he served the cake. "Playing on my sweet tooth are you."

He smiled and stole a kiss from across the table. "Maybe." She took a bite of the cake and placed her hand in his, he stroked the back of her hand with his thumb. She moaned at the flavor and licked her lips. "This slice might not be enough." A deep throaty chuckle escaped his lips and he wiped off the smudge of cake that missed his mouth. "You're a little hungry, aren't you?" She blushed. "JUST a little."

Soon after they headed into the living room and sat cuddled up on the couch. Asuma lent down and pecked a kiss on her lips. "Riri, I love you and I'm sorry that I may have made you feel uncomfortable last time but I forget sometimes that were not just jounin because you feel so far ahead of me sometimes." He took a deep breath.

"But that can't make me stop loving you and your beautiful head that's full of knowledge and thoughts beyond even me."

"So can I ask again...Will you marry me?"

Sup Guys! I'm not dead! I just have a huge problem with reading more fanfiction than I write because it's easier to read than to put my thoughts into actual words to be typed. Sorry!

URGENT INFO TO AVIOD CONFUSION

Anyway I'm going to make a SMALL CHANGE FROM CHAPTER 1 with Tony's last name and change it so he was using his mother's maiden name which will be explained later on.

Also I know this chapter may have been a little shocking for some but I did put a warning in the Summary mentioning Risky Behavior which is being displayed by Riri. More will be explained on her past later on as it become more relevant to certain scenes.

Riri's Decision is up to you guys, just leave a review for a YES or NO to the answer because my poll on my profile is being used for another story.

Also if you're reading my other stories, I've been working on them and Should have at least another updated before I go to a leadership conference in the beginning of November. In the meantime I'll also be finishing my College Applications for Early Action. Don't be expecting anything the first week of November I'll probably be a bit brain dead from the trip, an installation dinner and SAT's that weekend.

I, by the way, cranked out over 10,000 words for this chapter and I am very proud of myself. I hope you enjoyed the Chapter!
