"P-Paige?" I said when I returned to my consciousness
"Spence is that you? I thought you we're Paige. Paige would definitely save me at time like this. " I said still half awake.
"Sorry I'm very sorry." I tried to stop my tears
"Spence you know I've made a very big mistake, I'm really sorry." I continued then I hold tighter on her
"The god of the broken hearts wish didn't work, I guess Hanna's magic didn't work on me." I snuggled close.
"I know that you know a lot of things." I mumbled
"Can you tell me how to take this feeling away from me? Make me much stronger. I'm no good right now. I'm really sorry No matter what I do. I-I can't stop loving Paige"
Chapter 32
PPOV
"No matter what I do I can't stop loving Paige." She said then I stopped on my tracks cause I don't know How to take in all of the things I'm hearing from Emily does she really love me or she just say this because she is unconscious right now.
"I want Paige to be with you, Spence. I really do b-but it's too painful. It really hurts. I'm not saying this for you to feel anything…. but I don't know how long I can bottle up this feeling. Please don't get mad at me Spence. I want both of you to be happy I promise to sort this thing that I'm feeling… so please give Paige a try." She said then hugged me tighter. I try to walk again but then I slipped then we slide in the slope covered with snow
"EMILY!" I screamed and when I open my eyes everybody is staring at me. And Ms. Angeles is staring at me and shock is written all over her face.
"I'm sorry Maam I half asleep" I said then returned to my sit
"Uhmm- Uhmm Its okay Paige I guess it can't be helped I k now everything is very traumatic for you considering you're a good friend of Emily"

The other girl who's with Paige that night searching for her friend can't help the saddened look in her eyes. It's been a week since the incident. And Emily is still not ready to go to school yet. And the guilt is really eating the tall brunette

"Spence! Spencer wait up" I said then hold her on shoulder
"I-I need to tell you something" I said then she just nod
"Can we have it in somewhere more private" I asked
"U-Uhmm sure" She said then she followed me on the rooftop
"Spence I want to ask you some favor"
"What is it?" She asked
"If Emily ask anything about the accident….. please say that you're the one who've rescued her" I said looking straight into her eyes.
"b-but why?" She asked. And I averted my eyes to something else
"Just trust me please. And if she asked anything else just say that she is just asleep the whole time"
"Is this aabout the thing that Alison said?" She said then it is now my turn to look at her quizzically
"I know that you were in the room that night when Alison ratted me out in front of Mona and aria. I just don't know where did you hid but I saw you Hanna enter the room while Emily is in there"
"Oww" That's the only thing that comes of of my mouth
"Alright I'll do it then."
Im walking on my way home and I walked in front the Fields house but it is still dark inside. Is she really not okay yet? I asked myself. Or she knew that I'm the one who rescued her and I know what she said that night so she choose to skip school and avoid me

"EM why does our house looks like a haunted? Please turn the lights on" Mom said then she tried to switch the light on
"MOM! Please don't! just let that lights off and lets have our dinner" Then I pushed her on the back part of our house in this part of the house it is safe to turn on the lights.
I don't know how to face Spencer after the things I've said to her or am I just dreaming during that moment.
"Em is something bothering you?" Mom asked then she turned serious which is not usual
"Uhmm nothing mom just tired I guess" I said then continued eating
"Tired? You are not even going to school lately I allowed you this week because I know that you are still injured but Next week I need you to go to your class are we clear?"
"Okay mom sorry" I said then she gave me her warm smile again
"I want you to finish your studies your dad will be very proud of you if he sees you now" She said then hold my hand
When I'm laying on my bed I thought of something I guess my absence for a week will lead to some progress for Paige and Spencer. Then I feel asleep thinking of the things that may happen for them in the future I need to prepare myself to the inevitable

I'm in front of my locker when…
"Don't worry Paige Pam, called me this morning that Emily is alright and she might go to school today" Then when I looked up I saw that Spencer is in front of me.
"OW hi Ali!" Spencer greeted Alison but Alison just walk passing us like we're not there
"Whats with you today Alison?!" I reprimanded her.
"Don't come near me" She said the words like it is filled with venom
"Stupidity is containgous you know" She said then try to walked but suddenly stopped on her tracks then say something without looking in our direction
"When the Little sister is not here the older sister can do anything she wants" She said then walks off this time.
I looked at Spencer and I know that it taken her aback then she smiled at me sadly
"Paige I forgot that I need to go to somewhere first, so bye!" She said then runs off too

"Are you going to skip the first class?" The taller brunette said then stands in front of the blonde girl, sitting between the two vending machine
"What are you doing here!? "The blonde girl said irritated.
"I just want to say something to you" The brunette said
"I don't want to hear anything from you" The blonde said then get up from her sitting position.
"But but you need to know that that there is a ghost on that spot!" The brunette screamed
"What! why didn't you tell me before!" The blonde girl screamed then step away from the void between the two machines
"but nothing happens right?" the brunette said seriously.
"I think ghost have their own personality too" she continued and she looked at shorter girl straight in the eyes
"They'll only appear in front of those people who they want to see and understand them."
"I think I saw a ghost before however…. I don't want to yearn and get so caught up by something that I can't see… and lose the things that I can see.. That's why…!" The brunette continued but the other girl started walking not letting her finish
"You talk so much I don't want to hear the whole thing." The blonde say without looking in her direction
"You'll understand after you've heard the whole thing!" The brunette insisted
"Really?" she stopped on her tracks
"You want to say that if I just watch and don't interefere, everything will turn out fine..?" She continued and then looked at the other girl
"Am I right Spencer?" she smiled smugly then turned around
"Whatever! Talking to you feels like having a period" She continued on her walk
"I won't hesitate anymore!" Spencer said louder this time
"I will look forward and try to get the thing that I want" She continued
"owww just shut up" Alison replied
"I won't hesitate anymore! I swear! I swear! I swear I wont!"

Im sitting in front of my desk when I saw the hair clip I'm supposed to give to Spencer
"What am'I gonna do now? How can I give this to her if this thing almost cost the life of her bestfriend" Then my mind unconsciously go to the specific tanned girl beauty.
I shake my head, when did I start thinking about Emily as beautiful. Not that I don't think that she is, but but she really is,
"ARGHHHHH! " Then I hear the doorbell
"Coming!" I shouted then opened the door
"E-Emily!" I stuttered then I hugged her. I don't know what came in to me then when the hug took a little longer than the supposed common hug I detach myself from her awkwardly
"ahmm so I guess you missed me." Emily tries to ease the awkwardness
"Yeah! Why won't I? besides Spencer told me earlier that you are supposed to go to school this Monday where were you?" I asked then walked to the living room
"I just need to settle something first but I will go to school tomorrow"
"Hey why won't you come in? You don't need to ask permission you know" I said when I noticed that she didn't follow me.
"I didn't come in to crush at your place remember our deal?" She said
"Oww" I said looking disappointed
"I just want to tell you that I'm okay, I've crushed my phone on the accident and I saw Hanna earlier and she told me that you're really worried"
"I'm just here to show you that I'm really okay" She said then she turn around but I stopped her by holding her wrist
"Wait Em please stay even for just a while you're alone at your house, I want to make sure your okay" I said still holding her
"Please? I'll make you something if you want just please stay" I plead and stared at her mesmerizing eyes. Mesmerizing? What am I thinking
Then Emily nods then she enters the house and sits on the couch
"So what do you want? Let's just watch something" I said then when she is about to protest…
"Just one movie then I'll walk you home" I said then went to the kitchen to prepare something"
When everything is set I sit beside Emily
"What are we watching?" Emily asked
"Enchanted" I said then smiled at her
"A Disney film?" She laughed. And her laugh was a melody in my ears. What am' I thinking!
"Have you watched that movie yet?" She asked then she folds her feet on the sofa I thought to do the same thing but if I did the same thing our knees would be touching.
"What? U-uhm no not yet.. that Dvd was Hanna's" I said then divert my attention on the movie
"the movie is so cliche" She said then I looked at her like I'm asking her to elaborate.
"It's just about to start Em" I said
"No it's a fairytale thing so she will fall in love with the prince and they will live happily ever after,. That's how every love story goes" She said then slumped back
"I don't know Lets just watch first then after few insights I will give my own theory" I said then grinned goofily at her
"Hey you're unfair, I've made my amazing theory before the movie even starts" She whined
"Hey it's not unfair! I just don't believe that you will always end up to the one everyone thought you should end up with." I said then I saw that her brow from an arc
"I'm saying that even if you know what you want it doesn't mean you're not going to have a change of heart at some point. You know, life is a full of surprises and unexpected things." I shrugged then looked at the tv again
"Yeah I agree with you but it's a film and its Disney so I think it will go with the cliché princess then prince and happy ending" Emily said
"Well unpredictable can be good" I said then we returned in watching the movie
When the movie is on the part with the musical numbers Emily looked at me and I try to avoid her I wish she didn't notice the loud thumping of my heart. I don't know whats happening on me but I felt that something that was always kept in the deepest part of my mind or something in me was ignited
"Hey Paige" She called my attention
"Did you confirmed Spencer's feeling yet? Or you didn't ask her cause of the fuss I caused?"
Why is she still thinking about other person's feeling. Why do you have to be this kind hearted Emily Fields! She is still saying something about her being clumsy and sorry then
"I promise I won't be clumsy anymore Paige" Then she give me her beautiful smile
"Don't worry Paige. Things will definitely turn out fine between you and Spencer" Then we returned to the film we are watching.
Throughout the night our position has changed and I don't have any idea how we ended up in this. It's nothing unapropriette but my arm is around Emily's shoulder and the side of her head is on the crook of my neck I can't see her face because she is still facing the Tv but according to her even breaths she is probably asleep.
As I thought, being with Emily is really the best.
When the movie ended and the credits is already rolling I'm torn whether to wake Emily up or just let her rest here for the night. But I choose to do the right thing at this moment.
"Em…Em" I tried to wake her up but she is really fast asleep then she snuggled closer
"Hey Em if you want you can just sleep in my bed it is a lot more comfy than this couch" I said while rubbing her arm up and down
Then she stood up automatically
"Oh My I'm sorry Paige I'll just go home I don't want to crush in here" She said then grabbed her coat
"Hey let me walk you home" I said
"NO it's really late" She replied
"That's why I'm walking with you" I insisted
"No just stay here" She said then she tried to open the knob but I hold it too
"No I'll go with you or you will sleep in here" I said stubbornly then she glared at me for a several seconds when I felt the warm heat in my hands then when I looked at it it was Emily's hand.
I removed it automatically like something electrocuted me
"Fine, then walk me home" She said then I smiled
Our walk is really silent then suddenly
"Paige I forgot to say thank you" She said still continue on her tracks
"huh?"
"You and Spencer went to look for me right?" She said
"You don't remember do you?" I said then looked at her but she is still walking ahead of me but still in a audible distance
"I mean you were unconscious" I said
"Yeah but I had a dream… In my dreams Spencer was carrying me on her back….And I muttered something really really stupid to her" She said still walking ahead of me
"it was a dream wasn't it?" She asked me
"Yeah" I answered automatically Something stupid huh? That's the thought running on my mind during that moment. Does she want to pretend nothing happened and she didn't say anything? If that's the case then..
It was a dream..
"Yeah Spencer carried you on her back but you didn't say anything because you were unconscious the whole time…that's what I've heard at least"
"Really!" She sounded happy and this time looked at me
"For a second I'm worried because I thought it had been real" She said then when I decided to look ahead again I saw that we are already in front of her house
"So bye, good night Paige "she said then run off
