A.N. So I am really sorry it took me so long to update. I just haven't been that into this story since nobody is reviewing. Reviews are what make me really want to write another chapter but here one is. Yes you do get to find out who the father is going to be and I wrote it according to who you all said you wanted to be the father from the poll that was on my account.

Chapter 4:
I woke up to complete darkness and felt around to see if Lissa was still in bed. Her side was warm but empty alerting me that she had gotten up not to long ago. I got out of bed and put on some clothes since after our activities last night we had both fallen asleep naked and walked out into the kitchen to see Lissa sitting at the breakfast bar with a cup of coffee.
"Hey Liss you are up early." I greeted her with a smile and got a glass out of the cabinet and the carton of orange juice out of the refrigerator.
"Yeah I was too excited to sleep." She still had a huge smile plastered on her face.
"You couldn't sleep even after I made you come 3 times. Wow I must be losing my touch." I winked at her while taking a sip of my orange juice and her face turned red. Even after all this time my Lissa was still sweet and innocent.
"Rose, stop trying to embarrass me. We have important things to discuss today." Lissa's voice was stern and her face serious.
"Like what?" I asked as I moved to sit down next to her with my half empty glass of orange juice.
"Like who do we want to be the father of our baby, which is one of the most important decisions that we have to make. After that we have to decide when to start trying to get you pregnant and which doctor is going to be the best and…." Lissa was flailing her arms around like a crazy person.
"Liss you need to calm down." I put my hand on her back and started rubbing soothing circles up and down it lightly.
"Okay Rose you're right im sorry." She gave me a small peck on the lips. "Now who do you want to be the father?"
I chewed on my lip for a second thinking over the options. "You want it to be someone we know correct?"
Lissa nodded her head yes. "Preferably a friend" she added.
"Liss I just thought of something. If we get one of our friends to father the baby do we want him to be actively in the baby's life? Would that be weird?" Lissa furrowed her eyebrows in concentration.
"I really don't know Rose I guess that would have to be something we ask the father and see what he wants." I nodded my head.
"Okay so really our choices are Adrian and Christian. Those are our only 2 male Moroi friends."
"Well that makes this decision a lot easier." Lissa said clapping her hands happily. "Let's make a pros and cons list for each guy." She ran to the fridge and got a pen and a piece of paper. She wrote both names at the top and drew a line between them.
I could feel Lissa's happiness through our bond. A thought crossed my mind and I couldn't help but frown. Lissa saw it immediately and grabbed my hand.
"Rose what's wrong?"
"I was just thinking. Really it's nothing" I pulled my hand from hers and looked towards the wall.
"Rose I know it's not nothing now tell me." I sighed and looked back at her face. I could see nothing but love and happiness shining in her eyes. I didn't want to disappoint her and I didn't want to be the one who ruined this for her.
"What if the baby comes out weird or I can't get pregnant because I'm shadow kissed?" I hung my head and tried to keep the tears out of my eyes.
"Come on lets go." Lissa grabbed my hand again and pulled me to the front door. She put on her sandals that were by the door, grabbed her keys, and we left.
"Where are we going Liss?" I questioned as I was stumbling to get my sneakers on while keeping up with her.
"You'll see" is all she said as she started walking faster towards our destination. Lissa led me down hallway after hallway. Soon even I got lost and I am great at directions. She turned down a final hallway that I thought was a dead-end but on further inspection I found a door set into the left side of the hall. "Here we are" Lissa sang our dramatically as she opened the door and we both walked in. "Rose this is the private royal doctors office". The room looked like a typical doctor's office. There was a small plush waiting room with reclining chairs and 2 big screen TVs. A receptionist sat behind a dark wood desk that was placed in the corner and there was another door behind her which I assumed led into the examination room.
"Your majesty we were not expecting you today." The brunette receptionist said in a friendly tone.
"Sorry but I didn't think I would be coming by today until a couple of minutes ago. Can you tell Dr.S that we are here please?"
"Right away your highness" the receptionist who I think was named Mandy got up and bowed to Lissa, nodded her head to me, and disappeared through the door behind her.
"What are we doing here Lissa?" I asked as soon as Mandy was gone.
"We are here to get you a check-up silly so that you will see that there is nothing wrong with you that could harm or prevent you from carrying our baby." I had tears in my eyes again. I shook my head and went to sit in one of the chairs to try and get my emotions in check. Ever since Lissa brought up the baby thing my emotions have been out of control. Lissa sat in the chair next to me and we just watched the Moroi news that was playing on the TV until we heard Mandy come back into the waiting room.
"She said to go right on back your Majesty." Mandy said bowing again. Lissa smiled at her great fully and pulled me into the back room. This one looked like a typical exam room. There was a bed set up in the center with state of the art machines surrounding it that looked like they could take care of someone's every need. Doctor S was sitting in the corner in a plush arm chair behind a desk.
"Good morning my Queen how are you doing today?" The doctor asked getting up and smiling at both of us.
"I am fine thank you for asking and I have asked you to call me Lissa when we are alone." The doctor nodded. "We are really here today for Rose." The doctor looked over at me and smiled comfortingly. I knew I would like her.
"Okay Rose if you could just hop on onto the bed please." The doctor reached for the stethoscope hanging around her neck as I sat onto the bed and Lissa sat down in a chair next to me. "What seems to be the problem?" She asked while checking my heartbeat.
"Well you see….ummm." I was embarrassed and didn't know what to say.
"Rose and I want a baby and Rose here is worried that because she is shadow kissed that she will not be able to get pregnant or that she will hurt the baby in some way because of her abilities." Lissa said for me and I gave her a small smile. The doctor nodded her head not looking surprised.
"Rose many people don't know this but my mother was shadow kissed." I could feel the surprise cross my face. "She kept it a secret until she died Rose because she didn't want to be thought of as different. She was a strong woman who ended up having 3 children. I have a younger brother and a younger sister who live far away, so yes you can have children." The doctor was again smiling at me warmly and Lissa was squeezing my hand.
"Wait wasn't your mother a damphir?" I asked the doctor.
"Yes"
"Then how are you Moroi?" I could see the confusion on Lissa's face.
"Rose you are shadow kissed so you know that you are special. Some kids born from a shadow kissed mother and a Moroi father can turn out to be Moroi but not all of them do. I am the only Moroi child my mother had. My siblings are both damphirs." The doctor had a sad look on her face probably remembering bad memories and I was still trying to wrap my head around what she said.
"Did you hear that Lissa our kid could be a royal instead of a guardian."
"See Rose I knew everything would be alright." Lissa had tears of joy running down her face and I leaned over and kissed her. It was a kiss full of love and warmth. I was just so happy. Lissa released my lips after a few seconds.
"Thank you so much Doctor S. I don't know what I can do to thank you." I smiled a bright smile at the middle aged woman.
"It was my pleasure. I wish you and Lissa the best of luck at starting a family. I hope you consider me to be your doctor I would keep all of this confidential between us and I would love to see how adorable your kid turns out to be."
I looked at Liss and nodded my head and she did the same thing. "Yes" we both said to the doctor at the same time and she laughed.
After saying our goodbyes to both Dr.S and the receptionist Lissa and I headed for home. We were both still incredibly happy from my appointment.
"You know we still have to talk about the father." Lissa said when we were about halfway home.
"I know but can't that wait until tomorrow?" I whined and Lissa frowned.
"No Rose we both go back to work tomorrow and we won't have any time to discuss us things."
"Okay fine so let's decide Adrian or Christian?" Lissa looped her arm through mine as we continued our walk.
"I kind of like the idea of if Adrian is the father then our baby could be a spirit user. I could teach the baby how to harness it and how to use it for good and not be affected by it." I smiled at Lissa's optimism.
"But Liss what if our child acted like Adrian." I started to laugh from the pictures going through my head and Lissa slapped my arm playfully.
"He isn't that bad plus if Adrian is the father the baby would be Royal and be treated with a lot of respect. Our baby could even take over the throne one day."
"Lissa is that all that matters to you?" I asked sadly. "Being Royal and being treated with respect isn't everything. I want our baby to have an awesome personality and know how to care for people."
"Rose you know that's not what I meant and I know that whoever is the father of our baby they will have a great personality because you are going to be their mother and we are going to raise it together."
"Thanks Lissa that's sweet." We were now back at our door and Lissa unlocked it.
"So is Adrian our choice?" I asked Lissa?
"I think so." She said with a smile.
"Well then let's go tell the poor bastard" I said while laughing.
Shit that means I have to have sex with Adrian. My laughter was suddenly gone.
