A Cup of Coffee?
"My friendship with her is far too much important than finding out more about her. But why do I get this feeling of something telling me to know her better. UGH! This is so uncool!" Soul thought lying in bed as he couldn't fall asleep. How was he supposed to anyway? Earlier that day he just grabbed Maka out of nowhere and told her he wanted to talk. Why the hell did he do that? No answer….
"My friendship with him is far too much important than to keep my secrets! But why am I so afraid? Is he gonna leave me for what he hears? …. Why am I even worrying about something like that? UGH!" Maka thought and thought unable to study. This has been going on ever since Soul touched her and sent electric shivers to her body. "Ummm…. this is bad…maybe….is it? Maka! Sleep!" And maka tried to sleep but failed to do so as various thoughts ran through her mind.
For what felt like a blink of an eye, the sun arrived announcing a new day. "I wonder how this is going to be" thought Maka as well as Soul. Their usual daily routine passed and the time of their regular gathering soon came up to both's dismay. Maka and Soul sat across each other and the others sat beside them not grasping one ounce of what either of them is feeling. It's not like they knew how they were feeling anyway!
Maka read a book the whole time like usual sometimes engaging in small conversations with the girls. And Soul maintained his cool mask as if nothing is hammering in his mind. Nobody seemed to suspect anything unnatural. " Good!" Maka thought.
And the gathering came to an end like usual. Everybody started for home leaving Soul and Maka as their houses are in the same directions. Now it was only Soul and Maka.
