A/N: Sorry for the long wait :( ... I just lost track of where i was taking my story and i've decided it's gotten too cheesy! so how about a little under ground activity? this is my fantasy world where i dream to be. I know it's creepy -_- . don't remind me.
A cup of Coffee?
"Hey,papa. How was your training?" Maka asked not necessarily with a smile. After all, there's none to appreciate it in the world she dwells in.
"I'm getting rusty. I only got the target fifteen times out of twenty! Can you believe it? I
missed the target more than once in a gunshot? Damn it!" replied Spirit Albarn.
" Well, you are getting old. It's only a matter of time before you have to retire and let someone else take over as a head. " Maka replied matter-of-factly.
That's where spirit got serious. "About handing over the authority, how's your training coming along, Maka? "
Maka knew what her father was trying to say. So with a glint of confidence in her eyes she replied, "Don't underestimate me, I still can hit a target from twenty miles far with a rifle. Unlike others, I am and will thrive to become a force that everybody fears. " she finished with a smirk.
Spirit looked at Maka in the eye and held the stare of the strong broken girl. Then he walked away. Maka wasn't aggrevated at all. In fact she was pleased that now she had enough strength to stare back at the organization slash club's Head.
Maka took a shower, got dressed . she went to the house's basement. at first glance it may look like a normal basement. But the almost unnoticeable door behind the rusty old car was anything besides that. Maka opened it and instantly she was met with the noise of all sorts of guns being fired. From Airsoft ARX-160 to .357 SIG or 300 AAC Blackout.
Maka went down the stairs to the training fields. For some reason she didn't feel like shooting today. Rather she found herself in the artificial room made to look and feel like a person's backyard with the thought of practising some aspects of martial arts. So began started doing warm up. Suddenly a blue-ish man showed up.
" Someone named Soul is on the phone, wanna talk? " He asked.
...
"She just said that we were cool and then ran out of the ground. What the hell is that suppose to mean? I was being as polite as possible and then she accepted my apology. Then why'd she run?... Did she accept the apology out of pity?" Soul eyes widened at the realisation.
"The hell! I don't get it! ugh! I wanna know so bad what can I do? I just can't up and call her out of the blue. We ain't that good of a friend. And going to her house is out of the question. Damn I don't even know her address! "
Soul ran his fingers through his hair in frustration. And decided against calling her. Then he went to his family's music room and played the piano for a bit following his own composition as the house was empty leaving no one to criticize his creation, his soul, himself. After a while, he put the lid on the instrument and retreated to his room.
Soul saw his phone lying on the bed like it's calling out to him. He picked it up and dialed Blackstar.
"HEY! YOUR GOD'S SPEAKING! WHAT'S UP PEASANTS? "
" Hey Blackstar. Dude, shut up once in a awhile, will ya? " Soul said rubbing his ears.
"A GOD LIKE ME HAS NO NEEDS TO TAKE ADVICE FROM A PEASANT LIKE YOU! Umm... I I'm in Tsubuki's house cuz her parents invited me for lunch. So gotta so. Talk to ya later pal! "
And Blackstar hung up.
So Soul threw the phone on the bed and decided to take a nap.
After ten minutes of tossing and turning he picked up the phone. " I just can't get the sour taste outta my mouth if things with my first friend are like this. "
Then he called Maka.
A/N: Sorry for the short chapter but I really need your feedback on this twist. How do you like it? Should i stick to this thick plot and bring out a intense chemistry in Soma or keep to the cheesy part?
