Minty-chan: ^.^ Updating again~ Hope you like this chapter! :D

And so, I was out of the hell that takes the name of Kashino General Hospital. I missed being outside, despite it being the middle of fall. It was really chilly out, so I was all bundled up snug in my black puffy jacket, with the fur-lined hood. Happily stomping leaves, with my dark green combat boots and Mom watching my back, the day was going pretty well! I was really glad to know that I could finally see a little sibling, be it girl or boy. I could imagine dressing my baby brother in my old dresses, worn only once or twice by me. I wonder what his name will be. Maybe Haru? Nah, sounds like a girl's name. Hikaru? That means light, and he's probably going to be the light of my parents and my life. A possibility. Yuuto? That means gentleness, distant, and brave. I can imagine little bro with that name. He'll be a kind, soft-spoken boy, who protects everyone who he loves. Yep. Yuuto will probably be his name. Well, in my book. I sneezed. Looks like I was catching a cold. Maybe it was time for me to go back inside. I knocked on the glass patio door, to signal Mom to open it, and when she did, I walked inside, feeling my ears and fingers burn. I smelled the delightful scent of chocolate being heated, and knew instantly that Dad was making chocolat chauld. I went to my room to do some homework.

I sighed. Why did the stupid doctor recommend to my parents that I take a one week break off school? Now I was stuck at home, with all this homework. Not that I minded being with my parents. And then, there was the problem with Kuuga. Why was he being so mean to me? I thought we were friends. Maybe even more! But now he's being cold like when we first met. Maybe this is just a one sided love, with me being the only lover. How did I even get this stupid injury that caused all this? Wasn't Kuuga supposed to protect me, be my prince, my Romeo? Wasn't I supposed to explain my fear of wolves to him at that moment? Wasn't that all supposed to happen, then turn into a happily ever after? Tears rolled down my cheeks, staining the assignment I was supposed to be working on. Why was all this drama happening in my life? How should I deal with all this? My Mom knocked on my door. Shoot. How was I supposed to explain my red, puffy eyes? My wet assignment? My tear stained cheeks?

"Come in." I sighed. My mom opened the door.

"What's wrong, honey? Is being stuck at home really that bad?" My Mom joked.

"No, it's not really. It's just..." I trailed off.

"Is planning to be a big sister hard? I understand that feeling. I experienced the same thing when my mother was pregnant with Aunt Natsume."

"No, it's not that, it's just... There's a boy at my school that I really like..."

"And you don't know how to confess? I can help with that!"

"No, while I was out, I dreamed of the three months ahead of that time. My whole life during that time. And... I dreamed that Ku-Okumura-kun liked me back... And-" I broke off, my eyes wet once again.

"I see, my blue cherry blossom. Let's see what I can help you with. Hmm..."

"Mom, it's alright. You don't have to do anything! I feel a lot better, just talking to you. Let's talk about Yu- my little brother in coming!"

"I can see you're lying about the first part, honey, but we can talk about your baby brother; that's a much happier subject. So, what were you about to call him earlier?"

"I think Yuuto makes a good name for him. I can imagine him being a friendly, quiet boy, who is willing to do anything to help his friends and family."

"I see what you're going at. Kashino Yuuto... Doesn't sound too bad! I'll ask your father about that while we're having the chocolat chauld. Speaking of which, it should probably be ready! Let's go downstairs, shall we?"

"Okay Mom!"

So, we went downstairs to the family room to enjoy the chocolat chauld.

"Say, Makoto, doesn't this bring back memories of when we were still young and silly? I remember you making this for me all the time! It still tastes the same as before, warm and sweet, just like your personality!"

"Ichigo..." Dad's cheeks were just a bit red at that last comment. "You are still the same, even from when we first met. A dense idiot."

"Makoto! You're still mean and still like to tease me a lot." Mom shot back, with a 'hmph.'

"What are you guys going to my brother? I already told Mom my suggestion." I said, changing the subject before things got to heated.

"Ahh, yes! Aoi said that she thinks he should be named Yuuto. It doesn't sound too bad with the last name, Kashino, and it has a nice meaning." Mom said.

"Why not? It would probably suit him." Dad replied.

"Yay~!" I cheerfully said. I drank the rest of the chocolat, and went back upstairs.

"Now for some serious business." I stated. Well, serious business as in time to deal with personal issues. I dug out my phone, and looked in my contacts to find Kuuga.

Okumura Kuuga- Call/Text

I clicked call, then put the phone to my ear. Suddenly, I heard someone pick up, then yell:

"KUUGA! YOUR GIRLFRIEND OR SOMETHING IS CALLING YOU!"

Girlfriend? This definitely was not his parent. It didn't even sound like a adult. Maybe a brother? But Kuuga only told me that he had a sister. A cousin? Most likely. I heard some breathing.

"Kashino? How'd you even get my number?" He sounded quite confused.

"You texted me one day. Remember?"

"Oh, that. I remember now."

"Yeah. Hey, about my injury..." I trailed off.

"What about it?"

"Didn't you protect me from the wolf?"

"What are you talking about? Are you blaming this on me? It was your fault, Kashino."

"My fault? How is it my fault I get a stupid injury?!" I yelled into the phone.

"I told you I was looking for a flashlight, and I told you to stay close after that. It was your fault you zoned out and couldn't hear me." He said. How was he so calm?

"You never said anything! What kind of a friend just tells a friend to follow them, with their friend clearly afraid to death, then walks away without checking on them?!" See what his arrogant mouth has to say to that. I heard nothing. Aoi- 1, Kuuga- 0. It was too quiet. That's when I realized he had hung up.

"THAT SMUG LITTLE-" I shouted. How dare he hang up on me? I called him again, only to find that he wouldn't pick up. I sighed. Once this week was over, I could question him all I wanted.

Well, for the rest of the week, I guess I can make use of this time by finishing this homework.
