I am sorry about the lack of updates, but you know what it is like when exams come up. So here is a filler type chapter just till I can write some more.
Chapter 17
Sky and Tee were walking back from the shooting range when Kim ran up to them and asked if she could talk to her in nodded her head and waved bye to Tee. "So what do you want to talk about Kim", Sky asked nervously.
"Me and Hannah were just...umm... wondering if you maybe...you know...umm"
"Just say it Kim"
"Do you like Duncan", Kim said. Sky looked shocked at first but then went a slightly redder shade. "So do you"
"I guess so, but I don't know if he likes me back", Sky was kicking a pebble while waiting for Kim to say something. "Well your in luck, Rythian said he likes you, how amazing is that". Sky's face erupted into a huge smile and she ran towards the base.
All she could think was him, the boy from her dreams, the one who comforted her when Lee died and the one would help bring down the evil rein of Sips Co and the only one who would back her happy for life.
Once she got inside she heard banging coming from the smeltery area and she knew that he would be fixing his tools. Sky ran down to the smeltery and there he was. He turned around as he heard someone come down. Sky ran up to Duncan and pulled him into a hug. She whispered into his ear "I like you too". A massive smile came onto both of their faces.
They were interrupted by a loud bang coming from not to far away. "What the hell was that", Sky asked Duncan.
"I'm not sure but whatever it is, it can't be good. Lets go check it out, grab you gear". They both got their weapons and ran out towards the source of the noise.
