Ch.8- High Tension
(Inside Shakky's Bar)
"Let me check her fever!" I said putting my hand on Connie's front, taking it away when I notice how high her fever is right now.
"What could have cause this fever?" Wondered Rayleigh making everybody turn to face him.
"Old man, this isn't the time to wonder that!" I stared yelling causing him to stare at me, "We need to do something to control her fever." I try to control myself but it was difficult because of what's happening right now.
"Can't you use your healing power to control her fever, nyu?" Said Hatchi causing me to wonder if it could work, it once worked on Law... I just nodded putting my hand back on Connie's front, closing my eyes causing a blue glow emerge from my hand. Minutes later I notice that her fever won't go down, I keep on holding my hand on her front until I started to feel dizzy.
"Harmony stop, you're gonna pass out if you keep on pushing yourself," said Shakky taking my hand away from Connie, "We need to take her to the hospital."
"I don't think you will be able to taker her to the hospital without attracting the marines."
"I'm not taking her to the hospital. You know I hate going to hospitals." I told him carrying Connie on my back. Hospitals have sick people. Sick people make me feel sad. I'm not going near a hospital.
"So," I turned to face Hatchi, "Where are you gonna take her, nyu?" Good question.
Since Shakky is the one that always has the good ideas...
"Maybe you should take her to Trafalg-"
"Hell no!" Forget about it...
"Then what are you gonna do?"
"..."
"It seems that I don't have another choice," I took a deep breath walking to the wooden door with my katana on my hand and Connie on my back, "I'm going to have to look for him..."
(At the Heart Pirates' submarine)
"I can't wait to go to Fishmen Island and see the mermaids," said Shachi with a nosebleed.
Yeah, I know, I can't wait nether." Said Penguin holding the mop like if he was dancing with someone, when the fearful surgeon appear next to the doorframe staring at his to mechanics.
"C-captain!"
A big and clear smirk could be see on his face as his gray silver eyes stared at them. He took a step away from the doorframe and started to walk towards his two subordinates with Bepo following him from behind.
"Shachi, Penguin."
"Yes, captain?"
"I need you two and Bepo go to Shabondy," said the fearful surgeon, "I will go too, but on my own."
"Eh?"
"I already gave them enough time," he said walking to the deck, "We're going hunting." He said with a clear smirk on his face.
(Near Grove 1)
'Where can he be? I don't think he left Shabondy' I thought. If the rest of the supernovas are here maybe he is still here. I can't believe I'm gonna say this but I... I hope he is still here. I need him. Literally. Connie needs him.
"Shoot! Shoot her!"
'Shit' I course in my thoughts and started running. I can't jump or fly I may hurt Connie. I started running a little faster but not too fast to hurt her on the way.
"Don't let her get away!"
I turn my head to see how many marines were behind us, and since I have stupidity and didn't watch were I was going I tripped with one the rots. Why does god hate me so much?
BANG! Shit-
(Meanwhile near Harmony's location)
"Hey, Penguin did you hear that?" Said Shachi turning to the side were he heard the sound.
"The sound of a gunshot," said Penguin, but something else caught his attention. Bepo. He smelled something or someone.
"I was smelling perfume a moment ago, but now," the polar bear paused, "I smell blood."
"Guide us, Bepo."
"This side."
Law's POV
I stop when I reach to the place I was looking for. I pull the door to open it making myself inside the small bar, I saw a mermaid, the one that the straw hats rescue, and the Fishmen.
"Connie-chan and Harmony-san are not here if you're looking for them," said a woman with a cigaret on her hand,the owner I suppose.
"Where are they?" I said in my cold voice trying to get answers.
"They left a moment ago," said another voice. This man, why is he here? I saw him in the auction house talking to Kitusne-ya and now he's here, "Connie a high fever and Harmony decided to look for you."
"I see..." I walk to the door making my way back into the forest. The Dark King, why does he know her? Who is she? The memory of what Denty-ya told me was on my mind.
'Harmony's mother was killed by Donquixote Doflamingo 9 years ago.'
Puru puru puru...
I snapped out of my thought when I hear the den den mushi, I pulled out from my hoodie.
Puru puru puru- gacha.
"Law!"
(Meanwhile back with Connie and the other three members of the heart pirates)
"Law!" Yelled Shachi at the little den den mushi on his hand while he was escaping along with Penguin, Bepo and a sick Connie wrapped between his arm.
'What is it?'
"We have Connie with us," said the tired heart pirate member panting a little, "we need you to come back to the sub!"
'Don't order me around, what happen with Har-Kitsune-ya.'
"She told us to go that she will take care of the marines." Yelled Penguin this time.
'Get everything on the sub ready, find a way to control her fever, I will go back later I have something to do first...'
"Aye Aye Captain!"
(Back with Harmony)
A Zorua was surrounded by five marines, ready to shoot their guns. Harmony knew that if she escapes from them they will go after the heart pirates and that wasn't one of her options right now.
"Harmony the Kitsune, you have no way of escaping," said the commodore, "just give up!"
"Je, I wasn't planing on escaping," Harmony raised her hand ready to throw her next attack, "Shadow Wave!"
"Shoot!"
A large explosion was heard around the Shabondy forest, the dust around couldn't let anyone see, gunshots were heard and marines yelling on pain.
Between all this disaster of blood and marines a girl stood, with a katana on her left hand and one her right arm there was blood trailing all the way down to her hand, dripping on the floor, her face was cover with sweat and blood.
"Prepare all forces," said the commodore, "we're going to take this brat down."
Cursing on her own thoughts Harmony raise her hand pointing at the marines, while they were getting closer each moment she didn't move. Closing her eyes she stood there without doing nothing her last hand holding her katana pointing at the marines in front of her.
"Mewtwo, Deoxy, I need your help!"
The two legendary Pokemon appear, doing as what they well told, they started attacking the marines.
Harmony's POV
"I-I did it..." I felt all the weigh of my body trying to keep myself on my feet, but I fail and my knees fell on the grass. I couldn't stop panting I felt like I was about to faint.
'No, not get I can give up yet, Connie... she's counting on me.' To summon one Pokemon is easy, but to summon two when you're almost out of energy is something stupid to do, that only means something. You have a dead wish, of course I'm not planning to die. Yet. I'm only trying to find a way to give those idiots more time. When I get the opportunity I will just escape.
When I saw that most of the marines were distracted attacking Mewtwo and Deoxy I saw it as an opportunity to escape, I put enough energy on my legs to help myself stand up, as soon as I was up I started running to the forest.
BANG!
I fell on my stomach when I felt the gunshot hit my back, I try to stand up again using my hands to help myself, but someone's feet push my hands back to the ground, I turn to see the marine with a big smirk on his face.
"Where do you think you're going, Kitsune-chan?"
My eyes wide as I yell in pain when I felt his sword being buried on my hip. It was so painful, I try to keep myself from crying but, the tears were already on my eyes because of the horrible pain.
PUFF
"Eh, so when someone hurts you the Pokemon disappear. Hm, it's a shame that I have to kill such a pretty girl." He said burring the sword dipper into my hip, my screams of pain only seem to make him happy since he smirk every time I scream. I saw I'm pull a gun from his back pointing it to my head.
"It's over."
'No! I can't die now!'
He pulled the tigger and I close my eyes letting the tears fall from my eyes.
"Room, Shambles!"
The gunshot never made it to my head, instead I felt my self on someone's arms, I couldn't see how it was, my vision was too blurry, he slowly put me on the ground I made a sound because of all the pain.
"Y-you! What are you doing here!?" I heard the marine's voice and the footsteps of the person next to me walk away to were the marine is.
"Room, Mes!"
The last thing I hear was the marine yelling on pain, I felt some strong arms pull me up, I open my eyes for the last time, doing my best to recognize the person, he wore a brown spotted hat.
"Law..." I said before everything around me turned black.
