Chapter 8 Elsa's POV

I walked around the local comic book store; it was my second home really. While I was looking at the Marvel comics, Marshall was looking at the walking dead.

"Hey Els, you've read these right?" he picked up the first issue with his giant hand, examining the cover "is it as good as the show?"

"It's really good, I loved it, but you wouldn't like it, too gruesome for you" I replied.

"It wouldn't be, I watch the show"

"When you watch it, you and Olaf run out the room when a drip of blood comes up" I laughed "I'm not even sure how you can say you watch it, you're out the room 99% of the time"

"Am not!" he protested, but I just raised an eyebrow at him "ok fine" he sighed putting the comic down.

"You should read my little pony, that's totally up your street" I teased sticking my tongue out at him.

He crossed his arms and huffed "how long you going to take anyway? I'm bored and starving" he whined.

"After I find something new to read"

"That's going to take forever, you've read everything"

I rolled my eyes at him and slowly looked through the comics, it was true I did have a fair few, they weren't all just Spiderman.

"Bingo!" I picked up an Avengers comic "-" a perfect issue to join my ever growing collection. I walked up to the counter and smiled at my friend Belle; when I was nineteen I discovered this little store, Belle had just started working here, and I won't lie I had a little crush on her so eventually I asked her out and we went on two or three dates but when we kissed we decided it was not going to work out and that we should remain friends, nothing more.

"Hey Belle"

"Hello Elsa" she smiled putting the comic she was reading aside.

"What you reading there?" I leaned over looking at the comic

"-" she showed me the comic "you read this one? It's really good, highly recommend it" she smiled.

"Can't say I have"

"This is the last one we have in stock, would you like me to put it on hold for you once I finish reading it for myself?"

"That would be great thank"

"No problem, you can get it tomorrow then. How've you been anyway? It's been a while since you came in here last, like a week" she bit her lip a little "it's not like you?"

"Oh, I've just been busy with work and all" I rubbed the back of my neck… that and I've been obsessing over a girl I don't know.

"So what's her name?" Belle was now smirking.

I blinked confused for a moment before speaking "did I say that out loud again?" I blushed.

"No, for once you didn't" she laughed

"Oh... So how did...?"

"You come in here every two days, regardless of work, so either you're dying or you've met someone" she poked me in my shoulder "you seem pretty healthy, so what's her name?" she asked again.

"Anna" I said breathlessly

"Cute name, so when are you going to take her to your second home?"

"Umm" I blushed looking down "I haven't really spoken to her properly" I shrugged, remembering how I had lied telling her my name was Emily, stupid stupid... "The last time I spoke to her I did something so stupid, so I can never ever try and speak to her again"

"Did you puke on her like you did on me when I touched your hand on our first date?" she giggled.

"No... and I'm sorry about that again, it was a bout of some nasty food poisoning I had, heaven knows how there was even a second date" we both laughed before I continued talking "I uh lied to her and said I was her friend's cousin Emily and after a minute or so of lying she called her friend over and shouted out 'look Rapunzel its Emily your cousin!' " I looked down at my hands, shaking my head stifling a laugh "I ran away into a bathroom and there was a guy taking a piss and I then fainted"

Belle burst out into a hysterical laugh, holding onto her side, slowly she calmed down, wiping a tear from her eye "oh Elsa! Please let me make you into a comic book character, please, this would make a new epic adventure for it, I can see it now "the ice queen: adventures of love"

"No way"

"Yes" she beamed.

"Elsa I'm hungry, please!" Marshall cried from the other side of the room.

"Hey Marshall" Belle called over, causing him to blush a little.

I turned to Belle giving her an apologetic look "sorry I have to feed the baby" I paid for my comic and began to walk out.

"Elsa wait!" Belle called, I turned around to face her "talk to Anna, I doubt she cares about what happened, if I was her I'd find it funny"

I nodded; maybe Anna would just find it funny? "Bye Belle" I waved leaving.

"bye" she waved back, returning to reading her comic.

Marshall and I walked down the road.

"Hey Elsa?" Marshall asked.

"Yeah?"

Do you think Belle would ever date me?" he asked shyly.

"Totally, you're so her type, big and hairy" I laughed "is that why you insisted to come shopping with me? To see her?"

Yeah" he nodded sheepishly.

"Bless, but unfortunately for you we have to go dress shopping as well, sorry about that" I chuckled.

"Yeah, unfortunately..." he said quietly rubbing his arm.

We sat in the middle of McDonalds; Marshall was stuffing his face, trying to convince me to go paintballing.

"Seriously Els, you have to come with me and the sports crew next time!" Marshall took a gigantic bite out of his burger "Mulan can teach you how to shoot and Merida can protect you, she's an amazing shot"

"There's no way I'm going" I picked at my fries, checking my emails on my phone, "it's painful, sweaty and dirty" I rolled my eyes, now logging into Facebook.

"Just imagine it though, it'll be like one of your comics or something" Marshall waved his hands creating a scenery "you're wearing your gear, hiding in the trenches, the rain pouring down on your face, you see your enemy, you take a deep breath, aim and BAM! Target down" a bit of burger flew out of his mouth, narrowly missing me.

"Never going, sorry" I looked down at my phone, noticing a new message from Kristoff, it read:

"Hey Elsa would u like to come 2 the pub with me & some friends? :)"

I replied sighing: "can't do today, I'm out with a friend soz"

He replied quickly: "but we're doing a spiderman day, watch all movies, play all games, read a few comics?"

i grinned, ok that won me over "alright see you soon, the duke right?"

"yes cant wait"

I put my phone away and smiled at Marshall "ok lucky for you we're skipping clothes shopping and doing a Spiderman themed day with Kristoff and his friends" I got up putting on my coat, the weather was starting to get chilly, the cold never really bothered me anyway, but I didn't want to get ill.

"Oh um yeah cool, I-I guess" Marshall sighed getting up as well.

We soon arrived at the pub, Marshall seemed to be in a bit of a mood, most probably because I was dragging him to meet new people, which I completely understood; I hated people, there was only a few I could tolerate and maybe even like, Anna being number one on the list- ANNA! Oh god why didn't I think of that before?! She's friends with Kristoff, what if she was there? No no no that wouldn't do, shit.

My breathing began to get heavy "no" I whispered.

Marshall glanced at me, his hardened face loosened up and became kind and caring, he took my hand and led me away from the pub, quickly got out a paper bag from my handbag and passed it over to me, I took a deep breath "conceal it don't feel it" he repeatedly gently while I used the bag.

"Thank you" I said quietly, a few moments later as my breathing got back to normal.

"Don't worry about it Elsa…remember, as long as I'm with you here and now nothing bad will ever happen to you, I'm your personal body guard, I'll always protect you, so let's go inside; if it's too much signal me and I'll pick you up and kick the door down, ok?" he patted my back.

"Thank you marshmallow" he was a true sweetheart.

We entered the pub, I followed Kristoff's booming voice and soon spotted his messy blonde hair, he was facing the other way, a man with brown hair sat next to him and opposite them was a girl with short brown hair... just like Rapunzel... and of course Anna, she was wearing a tight t-shirt with a cute little reindeer on it. NOPE! I quickly turned to Marshall, his eyes wide and locked onto the man with brown hair "shit" he whispered.

"He saw you at the party didn't he?" I said as quietly as possible, luckily they hadn't noticed us. Yet.

"He chased me and Olaf"

"Elder scrolls" I said flatly.

"What?" He asked confused.

"The signal" I hissed.

"Oh right!" he shouted, causing Kristoff to turn around

"Hey Elsa! Over here" he waved.

"Next time I say it you shut up and we run" I said through gritted teeth to Marshall and then turned to Kristoff smiling giving him and his little gang a wave "hey Kristoff"

Kill me, someone anyone? Please, god... Satan?
