Rin entered the room and to his surprise Yukio was fast asleep, Rin thought he would've been still awake waiting for him or obviously finishing his paperwork. Kurikara transformed back into her original state, leaning against the wall at a 95 degree angle. Rin sighed in relief, "She must be worn out from running all around town. I am too." Rin began to change his clothes when someone spoke making his tail and the hair on the back of his neck stand up. He turned around like the ticking of the second hand.

"Nii-san you're back," Yukio spoke again sounding drowsy. He sat up and placed on his classes to see better. "Where's the girl?"

"Who Kurikara? She's asleep," Rin gestured her to Yukio's sight.

Yukio stood up to reach into a drawer from the desk. He withdrew an envelope from within and handed it to Rin. Rin grabs for it. "It's from Sir Pheles. He told me to give it to you when you came back," Yukio said answering Rin's puzzled look. 'Well the pink and girly stickers made sense now,' Rin thought as he opened and read what the letter had to say. Only to have Rin ponder about what the loon wanted him for.

"What does it say, Nii-san," Yukio asked sitting back down.

"Mephisto wants me to meet him tomorrow in the morning. He says he knows a secret that he wants to discuss with me. I wonder what it is?"

"I hope you didn't cause any trouble, I don't want to have to bail you out of anything again."

Rin pouted, "I didn't do anything. I was a good boy all week!"

"Well just don't forget to go in the morning like always Nii-san. ...Is she going with you tomorrow?"

"Huh," Rin dislikes they way Yukio refers to Kurikara but it's probably he still doesn't trust her much yet, still he could treat her better. "Yeah I promised her I would introduce her to my friends. She was so excited and I don't want to go back on my word. Plus I'm also looking forward to presenting her as well."

Yukio was glad he turned off the lamp before laying down, the room was dark to hide his upset face. He didn't hate Kurikara there was just something that bothered him about her, he couldn't put his finger on it. She was Rin's katana and he had complete trust in her, so why didn't he, he has complete trust in his brother but not her. "Yeah but won't she cause any trouble, I don't think it's a good idea, and you just can't take a stranger to class as if she belongs there."

"I'll talk to -YAWN- Mephisto about that when I head over. Don't worry Your big brother got's this"

"HA sure."

And with that the twins fell asleep. But Yukio nevertheless felt the same about Kurikara and the whole situation revolving around her.

Rin felt something heavy on his chest. He opened his eyes not to his surprise was Kuro but then what did surprise him was who's shoulder he was on. Kurikara was the who sat apon his chest.

"AHHHH-!"

"Oh sorry Rin. I'm just so happy I get to meet your friends and the place we go to every day," Kurikara apologized as she stood up and fawned about how the day would go.

They got dressed and hurried down stairs. Yukio had already left before them. Rin stepped out of the kitchen and walked toward Kurikara, who waited for him at the door, and the headed out.

Rin and Kurikara walked to school. When they got there they headed towards the fountain where the gang usually hanged out at. They were surprised to hear someone yell towards them.

"RIN TEME!," yelled Bon with veins popping out of his forehead. He stomped towards Rin frustrated, "You totally forgot about training this weekend didn't ugh-...!"

In a second Kurikara stepped in front of Rin holding out what seemed to be herself in sword form. She pointed it towards Bon, in defense mode protecting Rin from what she thought was a threat by the way he reacted. Bon in responds was surprised and raised his hands above his head. "Rin whats going on? Who is she? What did i do?"

"Bon!," yelled Konekomaru.

'So she can also do that even though she's in her human form, Sugoi!' Hearing poor Bon's pleads, he put his hand on Kurikara's shoulder. "It's ok, he's a friend. I forgot to go to practice," he informed her. "My bad," he said to Bon.

"'My bad' my ass! Anyways who is she, Rin? How do you...," Bon was cut off.

"Sorry I almost forgot. I got to go see Mephisto. I'll tell you later!," Rin said waving and pulling Kurikara along to the head master's room.

"Rin," said Shiemi worried about him.

"What the hell"s that about?," Bon said pissed off.

"I bet he wanted her all to himself so he took her away from me. Did you see they way she looked at-ufff...wheeze-," Shima was stabbed by Izumo's elbow in the gut as she came up to the group.

"Don't flatter yourself," she said. She didn't hear the whole story but enough to understand that it's about Rin and someone he's with who they don't know. "What's going on?," she asked. Checking the time she tells them it's time for class, and they'll find out sooner or later about what's going on.

Rin stood in front of the doors to the head master's room. Kurikara stopped him before he entered. He looked back to see a sad puppy dog face. "I'm sorry, I didn't know he was your friend. I was ready to kill him if he tried to do anything bad you," she apologized.

Rin looked at her surprised she was being bugged by something so trivial. He patted her head and he began to giggle. "It's alright. It was just a mistake. Bon can be scary and even if you try to kill him his stupidity will save him. Don't worry we were worse when we met."

Kurikara's eyes grew and sparkled from the tears emerging, "Thank-you!"

"Yo Mephisto! What do you need me for? Oh and what's this secret you know about me? Eh Eh," Rin said bursting into the room.

Mephisto turned around in his chair. 'Weirdo,' Kurikara said looking at Mephisto and his room. Feeling wary of him. 'Wait is he a-!'

"Ah Rin! There you are, I've been waiting for you and you little friend too. She's pretty. She looks just like your mother."

"Wait you know my mo-!," Rin said being cut off like Kurikara's train of thought by Mephisto.

"Well I called you here because of her," Mephisto said pointing at Kurikara.
